Because signet of inspiration is actually good for tpvp to share all the boons you get with your team and aswell as supply you with your own boons in itself i kinda like it because sometimes.. that aegis proc saves my kitten more times than not and signet of dom would be good if you didnt want to share boons with ur team you could swap it out for a more selfless roaming build but.. hey thats up to you :o

Oh yeah…I was using both signets, I sort of run inspiration in every build now, it is just a really great signet. People complain about a 3 sec stun from warriors? We have it instant cast + 180 to condition damage. I really like these two signets, and use those 2 and decoy as my three utilities at the moment on my phantasm build. I might actually try the stun on my shatter build too.

When everything is said and done I think you should use the Bunker/Heal Away for what you want to do since I think it matches what you want to do better and also the other build is something that is used in high level competitive team PvP so is more specific to the play style that the team adopts.

I have been rocking the staff/ mace/focus azs build with AH, and been doing great on nodes, but feel like it is more of a mid spec than a node spec hehe

The Bunker is a Bunker and Bunkers on a point and offers support for allies so it’s a good node defender and invaluable at Mid since it can offer so much healing/support for it’s allies. The AH is indeed more of a mid spec since it gets the largest amount of healing in a group environment.

Soloing in these specs isn’t advisable since that isn’t what they were made for and it is actually near impossible to kill a good player with a bunker guardian cause you simply can’t hit him for enough and he will just back off from you if he feels threatened at all.

For solo run a zerker guardian however this takes some practice because you won’t be used to being so squishy and you have to rely a lot on well timed blinds/dodges etc but once mastered there isn’t much you can’t drop in a 1vs1. Not blowing my own horn and saying I’m an awesome Guardian but I can absolutely wreck a Bunker guard using my Zerker.

well what I usually do is just sit on a node until someone comes, then I call for help and we kill him, then the other player leaves me until i call for help again.

Both do the same thing really However the Healaway Guard option 1 Would offer a larger amount of support for the team and the 2nd option offers relatively good support while keeping yourself up a little longer due to the blocks and AH. You’re not playing it wrong but I do promote finding your own play style so if you feel like something isn’t right try something different.

I have been using the 5/30/30/5 build for that, but thinking I am using it wrong…and should be in mid supporting teammates.

I just don’t know if I am playing the builds right, I think there are huge differences in the builds, one being a better a bunker than the other.

10/30/30 seems like a more selfish node bunker defense build, while the AH build seems like more a team support build no?

you actually try to hold mid and sometimes help on sidenotes if there are 3 vs 3s or 4 vs 4s but then dont forget to tell smbdy of your team to bunker mid for the time you are at the sidenode

I know that sometimes it doesn’t matter what skill or character you have vs zergs. But I was wondering…what do you guys think is the best overall class for roaming and solo queue once in a while (painful wait times vs the same people).

I main mesmer, but am getting tired of getting rolled by certain classes that the current meta is saturated with!

why don’t top mesmers use mind wrack has a 10% higher to crit, over 3% more damage vs illussions.

sig of inspiration is actually very, very good. I use it with rune of lyssa…and everytime I heal I have 2 random boons on me. It helps me so much, and works well with Lyssa because I hit mass invis every 90 seconds and then transmit every boon in the game to my team!

dunno why people don’t use this signet more often, it is rediculously good
