Ever since the marionette update i’ve been getting crazy kitten lag spikes all the time. Its always the same thing; everybody starts running into the wall except me none of my skills work and I have unlimited energy to dodge. If I spam dodge too fast I get an auto disconnect but if it doesnt then it just speeds up really fast and i’m usually dead.

i think its out of place for a game like this, i can understand the sylvari but not humans.

Once we receive legendary Back Items, those 2 back items should be upgradeable via mystic forge or by crafting to turn them that way into their legendary versions imo with better more epic effects.

The Light of Dwayna as legendary version for example could have then some slightly bigger and more epic animated transcendent wings that have a bit more of angel wings and the legendary version could give the character a better glimmering paerticle effect when moving around together with changing the blessed finisher move into a move epic version, if you are wearing the Light of Dwayna, when performing a finishing move with the blessed finishing move that lets angel wings appear, which could be more shiny and a kind of Halo could alos appear then and explode into a big glimmering ring above you, once the finishing move animation is about to disappear again..

I think all ascendent back items should be able to get upgraded into legendary versions.
Think of all the different quivers, which could turn as legendary versions into a multitude of many new realyl required epic quiver skins…. would be so fabulous to see that happening.

If charr are the reason we don’t have capes, I think humans should get them as a cultural backpiece.

You know I realized how annoying the black ripped up border around the screen is when i was playing with the hud off (ctrl shft h), i also get more fps with hud disabled. I’d love to turn all the extra kitten off and just leave the stuff i use up like i could i gw1

I was hoping to camp the living story locations with friends and kill everyone who is trying to do the PvE achievement :^)

i’ll admit before the release i was expecting casual garbage but now after playing through and beating both marionette and the wurm I think it was a good update. The real problem here is the overflow issues. the challenge is welcomed this game needs more hard stuff. but having to waste an hour spamming join in bloodtide is kittenty.

If i recall correctly it was the vigil’s welcoming cutscene where the big norn dude slashing someone with his axes and theres a bloodspray, thats the kitten i’m talkin about we need more of that less shiney blue and purple particles that take up my entire screen

I’m sorry if there is a known post for this kind of thing, but being a PvE hero who ignored sPvP since release and recently getting into it, what would you guys consider the best composition for team tournaments?

Champ train is just playing the game, and if you don’t like it then don’t play. If they nerf the champ trains everyone will just kitten that the zones are empty.

I like playing with the camera angles and zooms, I would love to have a super zoom out similar to what we used to get on jade maw making the game look like diablo

I don’t know if this has been suggested before but a lot of players like me who were unable to play through every living story since release due to work, travel etc.. Would it be alright if we get a chance to play through all chapters as a DL pack?

I wouldn’t mind even paying for it. I am trying to get my brother and cousins into playing GW2 and their biggest complaint is all the content and rewards they have missed due to temporary content.

You didn’t miss anything, all the good stuff is in the game permanently. I wouldn’t pay even a dollar for the 2013 living story content it was that bad. The only rewards you missed out on were achievement points and like 3 backpieces that all look bad.

yep this is probably the worst update i’ve ever seen for this game, and its the first for 2014 which already means this kitten is starting off on a bad note.

the new ascended helms you get from the wurm are kittening disgusting, it looks like you have herpies. the story makes no sense, you have to wait what like 3 hours to do the next event after you fail. the giant robot fight should have been an epic 10 player dungeon/instance but instead we get kittenty zerg fest.

how the kitten did scarlet make a ufo? at this point she should just make a god kitten space station the story is so out there now it isnt even guild wars anymore. the krait tower made some sense but this is crazy. when are we going to hop in a x-wing and take down scarlet’s deathstar?

With the LS part 1 coming to an end the next two months, how about giving some rewards at the end. Make two new achievements, one wich requires to have completed all meta-achievements of the whole LS, and the other one requires to have completed every single achievement of LS. Could be some title or a special skin just to show off that you where there for over one year. What do you think?

If they had said from the begining of flame and frost that if you do every achievement from then until now you would get a special reward then i would have no problem, but not just out of the blue at the end “oh here have this kitten everyone who skipped one or two updates!”

I like the original cast better. Braham is the only not annoying one out of all them and the only one I hope they keep alive.

I seem to be the only one on this forum that knows how a story works. I’m so excited that this game actually has one that lasts, rather than being released all at once and then having nothing for two years.

I LOVE the living story. I pity the poor person who had to change their vision for the living story because of impatience on the part of the players. Releasing a little bit of story every two weeks is an amazing idea, and it seems that people here can’t connect the dots enough to realize that these story pieces aren’t random – they’re all part of a larger whole.

What I’m getting is that not only do most people not understand that the conclusion of the story is forthcoming, but that they want all their story at once, and then they want to repeat it over and over and over for a year until more story comes out. Then they can repeat that over and over.

I am legitimately confused. Why does this have to be all instant gratification? Why can’t we all just relax and let the story come as it does?

You didn’t even read my post, I am talking the gameplay here not the storyline. I’m not a fan of the scarlet saga but thats another post for another day.

WvW – for what purpose?

There’s only one fun profession (Ele of course) my personal story died over a year ago and the RNG is worse than any game I have played, ever.

I feel you, I’ve stuck with the game since beta and while I had fun with the initial release i’ve been trying to make myself believe that anet will finally makesomething good out of living story but it just isn’t the same company that made the first game. My tank is about to be on empty, i was hoping the next 3 updates would be big enough to hold my interest but with a bunch of next gen releases coming up I don’t think i’ll make it.

Sorry if this isn’t the right forum, but I don’t know where to post suggestions now that the suggestions forum has been archived.

The final battle was really underwhelming. I pictured the final battle as hundreds of NPCs, including Destiny’s Edge, Trahearne, and the various other notable characters, all charging at Zhaitan.

Some specific things that would make good improvements:

1. Trahearne having a heroic death. This would reduce the feeling of him stealing the spotlight, and also get rid of an insanely annoying character. And frankly, Anet has already killed off the likeable characters, so why not kill off the annoying ones as well?

2. Make the final dungeon single player. You shouldn’t need four other people to complete YOUR personal story.

3. Add a scene where the player character performs some insane act of heroism that makes them seem like what they’re supposed to be: the hero of the story.

theres a difference between grinding and playing. its not a long boring grind to get dungeon armor as it is ascended. your argument sounds like you want everything handed to you

I agree, more white weapons would be amazing (especially with my white dye armor). I really like the white ascended weapons but it sucks because the stats of the white ones are all trash.
