I would love some Engineer themed weapons.

Due to GW2 theme most weapons are designed around the other classes.

With Engineer being the youngest of the family it doesn’t get many tech themed weapons.

No. The ones that stayed in Cantha simply were forced to join the empire.

No it was stated in the lore all Tengu’s of Cantha was forced out of Cantha due to their new Xenophobic policies. The survivors moved into Kryta and since thing Cantha has remained Xenophobic to this day only keeping their country as a Human Canthan Only Country until farther notice.

Kurzicks and Luxons were forced into joining the Empire by military force which ended their war with each other.

The Tengu culture is global being that there are 5 tengu clans in the GW world and we only know about 2 of the 5 clans being the Tengu naturally born in Tyria and the Tengu of Cantha.

The Cantha Tengu were forced out of Cantha and have since this day seeked to reclaim their home in Cantha.

Speaking of Tengus has anyone notice the Yuki Honestcrest and the other Tengu’s of Lion Arch are MIA after the Battle of Lion Arch ended. Their last known location was on the other side of the Shuttered Gate. Barraging anyone who would approach it (friendly or enemy) and killing them.

Guess whatever unknown thing they mentioned going on in the Crystal Desert got to them.

Well that the interesting part of current info about the Deep Sea Dragon and Dragon’s history with altering geogrophy of regions everytime they awaken.

If Kanaxai is a ancient champion of the Deep Sea Dragon that would mean the Deep Sea Dragon had a stronger army size before the 1st historical recorded awakening.

With the land of Tyria being different from what it is now before the any known historical recording of the geography of Tyria during pre 1st historical awakening this would mean the geography of the Jade Sea and Cantha may not have existed before but due to one of the unknown Dragon Awakenings the geography of the area formed into the land that will become Cantha and the Jade Sea. This cause the land to form Cantha and the Jade seas to rise up to their current level through some kind of tectonic shift which would be the reason why a Ancient Champion of the Deep Sea Dragon was discovered when the Luxons dug too deep into the Jade Sea.

However, this is all I can go by now until more information about the Deep Sea Dragon is revealed such as what the Deep Sea Dragon’s corruption and minions look like.

Still another interesting thing is if the Deep Sea Dragon had a greater influence before any recorded history of the Dragon Awakening it is also possible that the Deep Sea Dragon has manage to preserve Ancient Races that have been corrupted by his influence that predates current GW recorded history.

Well what interesting about Kralkatorrik and the Crystal Desert is that…

1) Kralkatorrik is still in the Crystal Desert

2) The Crystal Desert is the only place left that will allow us to enter Elona and it is possible that the Order of Whisper secret is a secret passage in the Crystal Desert. (If you performed certain GW1 Nightfall side-quests you will learn about certain passages in the Crystal Desert)

3) Once we fight Kralkatorrik it is possible he will flee into Elona before we can strike the final blow. Of course that would mean Joko’s army in the Southern part of Crsytal Desert will be slaughtered by Kralk’s branded corruption

4) if that happens then Anet will open up Elona for GW2.

As for Cantha we may see a emissary from Cantha asking for our help with the Deep Sea Dragon if the Deep Sea Dragon begins a invasion at Cantha due to hearing stories about how the Pact and our character defeating Zhaitan. The Emporer may be Xenophobic but any knowledge about the current Emporer has remained unknown due to losing contact with Cantha because of Zhaitan’s Navy.

a interesting idea what if the current Emperor of Cantha is the black sheep of the xenophobic imperial family. Being that rather being Xenophobic like his ancestor he is more pro-unity but certain factions are trying to prevent him from removing Cantha’s xenophobic policies. Of course I would add a plot twist that the Emporer of current Cantha is actually a girl but that stretching it. However, it would make a good twist if they decide to reveal that the current Emperor of Cantha is a fake placed there by the Xeonphobic faction and the rebel faction is protecting the real Emperor of Cantha (or should I say Empress of Cantha)

But those theories don’t work at all since the Deep Sea dragon is within the endless ocean or whatever it is called, and it (and/or it’s minion) emerged from the DEEPEST parts of the ocean, driving out the Krait, Quaggan, Karka, and Perhaps even the Largos from the ocean… which isn’t connected to the Jade Sea as far as I know.

Do not forget the Elder Dragons are currently known to be the oldest beings in GW2 world.

The Jade Sea may have once been a part of the Unending Ocean long ago before any recorded history.

Everytime the Elder Dragons awaken they will historically change the landscape of the planet but so far only 2 recorded awakenings are known in GW history but records of findings have shown the Elder Dragons have awakened other times beyond the 2 known awakenings which explains any geological changes and placements of anything related to the Elder Dragons.

the 1st recorded awakening was before the Human Gods entered Tyria and the 2nd awakening is currently the one we are facing now in GW2.

If Kanaxai is related to the Deep Sea Dragon it is possible Kanaxai’s existence predates the recorded awakenings which may lead the storyline into discovering more about the Elder Dragon’s other awakenings, discovering even more ancient history about the world, and going even deeper into their Elder Dragon’s Origins.

I always thought this was strange though, in a world of instant teleportation, the relaying of information should happen much faster, especially since the teleportation fee is very little, even less for lvl 1 NPCs :P

Another thing is that we have no idea if mordy is spreading the vines towards the west as well. Going after the current spread we can assume that this is mordy’s radius of influence, neglecting the fact that it is only spreading along WPs, might not be possible without the help of asura technology in the west…

Well you got to look it as this way.

1) Mordy’s Vines feed on Magic like how plants feed on Water.

2) Plants only grow by the amount water that is provided

3) Plants can’t grow far unless there is another source of water in the other area

4) All vines are only growing near areas that are strong with magic near its last location.

Using this we know that the Vines has the same limits as plants on how far they can grow so as of now the only source of “water” that is allowing these Vines to spread are the Ways or any other magical artifacts near the ways.

Probably Cantha if anything. Whispers know how to get passed Kralk and branded in the Crystal Desert. But we’d likely try, Kralk breaks through and then we end up fighting him.

Actually I was expecting Anet to prepare for Cantha by now. Maybe as the 1st expansion I heard rumors about being in development now.

A interesting lore about Cantha is that the reason why the countries of Tyria lost contact with Cantha was because of Zhaitan’s Navy but with his death the Pact is now slowly destroying what is left of Zhaitan’s Navy slowly clearing a path to travel into Cantha.

Also a interesting thing about Cantha is that it is possible that the Deep Sea Dragon maybe located near Cantha and we will fight Deep Sea Dragon there by going deep into the Jade Sea. Of course there has been speculations that the Outcasts are the Deep Sea Dragon’s minion and Kanaxai is the Deep Sea Dragon’s champion.

The story will then become more cheesy because now we have to deal with a Insane character that will just end up acting like a Human Scarlet but with a bit more showy with her Insanity.

Insanity character never makes good antagonists because their reason behind their actions is simple Insanity rather than any type of complex reasoning that makes players question their own actions.

I doubt they will ever make S2 Living World Storyline unlock replay acount wide style because Living World S2 storyline is Arc 4 of the character’s main storyline.

Also each of your 5 characters are different people with their own Story they follow differently despite the path being the same. There is also the fact they have made Arc 4 have some class based and race based dialogues as well.

Chapter 1 of Arc 4 currently have some class based dialogues being Engineer classes will take notice to Engineer style dialogues and Race dialogues being if players are Sylvari the members of the Investigation team may show some hostility in their dialogues when your character talk to them but if he or she is a Asura there will be some Asura related dialodues with Tiami.

Ya Devourers have a custom they follow when it comes to reproduction

1) Their nests are often made from the dead bodies of male Devourers so when the male Devourers are old enough they are killed by the female Devourers and their bodies are used for their nest. (Their bodies must be freshly dead to keep the eggs warm with their blood and organs)

2) the purple stuff are Devourer’s eggs.

3) Stuff covering it is what I call Devourer Gunk because it is a type of slime made by Devourers to cover the nest to keep the eggs warm.

The current Legendary does work if you designed your Eng to be a sniper.

Eng has some traits designed for sniping like the Scope trait that increase crit chance by 10% if 600 distance away, then combine with Rifled barrels (increase range by 200), and Rifle Mod (Increase damage by 10% for rifle and harpoon) then now you got yourself a sniper rifle heavily modified to have the power of a shotgun. :p

- Seraph (They are in Dry Top to track down the Bandits in the Black Market of Divinity Reach)

Antagonist
-Sinister Traid (Current hints from NPCs show they are involved with the Black Market Bandits the Seraph are tracking) (Consisting of Bandits, Inquest, and Nightmare Court) (There are rumers the Sinister Traid are involved with the White Mantle)

Neutral
-Zephyrites (Their alignment is unknown but as of now be prepared for anything with their alignement due to the Secret the Master of Peace is hiding and that some Zeph are afraid of the Master of Peace.)

Ya the story isn’t about our character anymore but more about everyone involved in the events.

As of now the story is a bit messy due to being the Introduction chapter of Arc 4 with the entire reunion events and attempt to explain how all the members of the Investigation Team is recovering from Battle for Lion Arch being shoved into the First chapter in Living World Season 2.

I personal think they could have solved this messy issue if they spread the personal issues of each character a bit out more through the story rather than trying to cram it all together in Chapter 1 because it feels like they’re trying to get all the character’s personal issues out of the way fast so the story can focus more on the action, adventure, and Lores later into Chapter 2 or higher.

Of course as the story progress we will see less drama and more action as we get closer to Mordremoth.

As for the members Anet did well making each member feel useful in Arc 4 this time because each member actually help our character with things they are not capable of performing rather than being uselss like the NPC allies we had during Arc 1, Arc 2, and Arc 3 (except our Order Mentors since they each had their own unique way of helping Tybolt will always be the best through with his bucket of “Apples”) Though a lot of Necros would love to learn how to make a bone bridge
