Well Dudis, since you cant understand English, Ill state again, my 60% winrate is because Ive only SOLOQED in ranked. And if you think your team is good, lets have a 5v5 scrim, your team vs my team. On topic though, DD ele stow weapon actually provides a LOT of healing, it needs to be removed.

Now back to the topic. Looks like everyone that is against the fix can only use ad hominem and presents no real argument.

Dudis if you really wanna play that way, your old winrate in the old system was low 50%ile range in both TeamQ and SoloQ, your new winrate is because you likely have terrible MMR and were facing terribads, whereas when I soloQ into ranked, I end up facing a premade thats actually good. If you seriously think you’re better than me, we can settle this in any number of ways, I will stomp you in 1v1, 5v5, basically any sort of PvP. Furthermore, you’re the person that thinks Mesmer is OP, which is literally one of the most ridiculous things Ive seen on this forum. “Get Good Son”

The thing is, mesmers role is basically +1ing fights because you never really want an even fight with a mesmer… cuz they suck at 2v2s, 3v3s, etc. But even when they +1 fights, they have similar effect to something like a Thief or Necro, but Thief and Necro can do so much more elsewhere as well. Thats just what I think.

I agree we need soloQ back. Today in rankedQ first game I faced a 5 man premade when I was soloQing. This mightve been ok if the players were average or sonething, but it was a pretty decent level super pug. Also matchmaker is broken. I had like 4 games today in which I faced Noscoc and friends when it was just me and my friend duoQing. Literally every single game was close to 500-0. Its not even a player skill issue on my part the pugs we were with simply lacked the ability to actually do something, which isnt their fault, its Anets for putting them in that situation.

The talk about nerfing cele has been going on for months now. Devs, its not hard to shave a few percentages off cele and make small balance changes. Your not going to become esports by throwing money at literally nothing. Fix your game instead of giving the same players thousands of dollars every month.

Dude Toker you keep posting random crap that has nothing to do with what OPN is trying to say. Even in your post, the fact that 7/10 players in a top tier tourney were using celestial amulet is utterly disgusting. The whole Good Fights duo with Chaith and Toker defending Celestial because they dont want their team nerfed at all is pathetic.

I dont really like OPN, I think mechanically his team in general sucks except for Muubs, but this flowchart…is so accurate. Literally half the classes are no longer being seen in play. Mesmer, Guard, Ranger are all trash tier because of celestial amulet and the fact that it makes other classes do their role while sacrificing less. Honestly though I think there are also some class issues in terms of the engineer class. Tool Kit block is the most kittening kittened thing in the entire game. Slick shoes is instadeath for classes without stab or ports. I know you engi fanboys will come in here and say “engi is hard” but no it isnt. I can watch Backpacks cele engi guide and be a top tier engi mechanically. I watched Phantaram play and I can be a master at DD ele in 2 hours. Its really not hard at all. In terms of ele though, if cele is nerfed by 10-15% they should be SD thief and Shatter Mes food which is how it should be. Cele Warrior I dont think is game breaking, its a fairly weak build in terms of DPS. What could be done is nerf healing of shouts by 500 and nerf geomancy sigil to 2 stacks, since warrior is really the only class that depends on them for a large amount of DPS. After that cele nerf will take care of the rest.

I agree. My teammates arent always on and we need a full roster otherwise our MMRs are high enough that if we’re trioQing, the other 2 players are Rabbits to compensate.

Bragging about pixel money and shiny weapons is fun!!! Money’s nice but its not really that much. Tormentum Nex is pretty legit though. He still probably couldnt beat Phantaram.

There aren’t really that many teams doing the Go4 on NA cuz Abjured and Absurd OP so its pretty easy to get into the monthly. GL filling your team Muubs.

Hey guys, unfortunately after our loss in the tourney today, one of our members has left. After trying a Mesmer we have come to the conclusion that it is best that without a bunker guard we do not play with a Mesmer as they’re simply too vulnerable. We are now looking for a skilled Necromancer or another Elementalist. Maybe even another warrior so we can run CM comp.

So, yesterday I watched Thrackit’s video on how to be a better DD Ele. After that I learned a lot about how to play DD eles. I delete my level 3 Mes and make an Ele. After that I ask my teammate (a cele engi) to duel. He wasnt playing at his best because he had cold hands or something but I beat him 3-0 WHILE HE USED CRATE and I know for a fact that my teammate is very good at cele engi. What does this say about how OP cele ele is? Cele ele is at an advantage vs cele engi, but I literally hadnt played ele for a week, and before that I hadnt played it for months (I used to main DD Ele for like 5 months until the patch that made them godmode then I deleted my ele).

Alright so I made a team and I filled the roster after like a month and we had our first practice today…. Buuuut we faced a really good team I think they’re called “June” or something the team with Buta and Zoe L and stuff. So we beat them the first game I think the score was 400-500 not too bad, we play them again 2 mkre times and we’re not so lucky we lose both. Thats fine its our first day but the problem is the way that we lost. They were running a thief mesmer comp. Their exact comp was Bunker Guard Warrior(sword bunker res warr) Cele Engi DP Thief and Shatter Mes. My teams comp is SD Thief Mesmer Ele Engi Warrior. The thing is what happened in the games we lost was the thief and mesmer farmed me all game. Im an SD thief, I cant stealth as long as a DP thief and I felt helpless basically because Zoe L would just stealth when I was spotted and then I would have to either leave the fight or just get one shot later. And then if I managed to pressure the DP thief enough he would leave and I would be out of CDs and the mesmer would train me. My question is how could that have been avoided? Should I have stuck closer to my team’s mesmer? Should I just have not rotated into the points with the DP thief and have just had our warrior rotate in leaving me to defend mid point (cuz we had mid cap whole game but we still lost). Should we have just had better 3v3s vs their thief mesmer and just ditched mid? Should my teammates just have peeled for me better?

Sorry for necroing this thread but I’m interested now. How exactly is Wakkey best at teamfighting? Ive never really seen him play so I wouldnt really know.

Also uberkingkong I used to be like you thinking I was better than everyone on these lists but soon you’ll learn man. Everyone on this list is pretty legit. Also Tapdatmouse in all his videos basically shows himself wrecking baddies. I faced him in a soloQ, I thought he would be awful but he was actually decent, I still destroyed him 1v1.

Versus some opponents, mostly other thieves, one thing you can do is heartseeker while your far away from the enemy. You can force a dodge because they’ll be expecting inf sig or steal. Kinda risky though because if they dont dodge you wasted initiative. I dunno, I dont think there are many mind games you can play with DP specifically.

Ill be honest here though, when I lost to Kronos I didnt really think less of myself as a player. I was just straight up mad because all he did was shortbow 3333333333333333 for like 10 minutes straight until it got to the point that I was so bored that I just healed with poison and stowed weapon and stood there while he finally switched to SD and killed me while I was half-afk. Then we go DP and I tell him im gonna play 26006, and for some reason he plays panic strikes and wrecks me. Every single time Kronos won against me it wasnt cuz he’s mechanically amazing, its cuz he got lucky or just stalled until I made a ton of mistakes. Then there’s that Saekim guy that played PU mesmer. Like, really? Who plays PU mesmer in a duel? Thats why I was angry at your guild lettuce. I didnt really mean to make fun of wvw players, I just got a bad impression from fighting Kronos and Saekim. You guys are skilled, sure, but I hate fighting like that.

Glock I think it’s pretty easy to 1v1 cele eles if they’re out of cooldowns or if you just jump on them with a good 8k Mug+Backstab. @Doomdesire you don’t know anything and your comment is invalid.

Necro is fine, the player’s are just awful. It’s the best 1v1er and 2nd best 2v2er in the game. Also most of those builds are freaking awful. What is “Mobile Turrets” Engi? That doesn’t even exist.

Have you ever played a necromancer?

They lack mobility, stability, stun-breakers that provide counter-mechanics, (deathshroud is supposed to be our mechanic to counter damage but deathshroud is a broken mechanic).

Deathshroud is another life bar, yes, but what’s more life bar good for if you cannot counter-act your opponent because of all the cc, and weak defenses even while speccing into tanky stats. A d/p thief or s/p thief will show you the meaning of frustration when he constantly stuns then cleaves, and rinse and repeat. Please play a necromancer and then tell me the reason why top tier players constantly say necromancer is the hardest class to show proficiency in tpvp.

If you’re getting stunlocked stop being a freaking zergbot and get off point. You shouldnt be in a position where you’re getting focused in the first place. Necromancer is all about positioning and if you’re caught out of position you always have the wurm to escape. Necro also has 2 stunbreaks and Plague. Plague especially gives you an insane boost in survivability and you can leave the point and have teammates cover while you heal. Yes, Thieves are a problem, but that’s why you have to pay attention to the map and always be watching for where the enemy thief may be. Deathshroud is one of the strongest mechanics in the game. If you’re finding yourself low on DS…. either stop dying or save it for when you actually need it instead of just sitting in it and spamming skills. I have played Necro, and while it’s certainly a tough class, it’s not UP at all.

Im not having any trouble with SS but I dont really chain it with any other skills that often.

Thief is fine, in a team setting it’s much stronger than both Power Ranger and SF Ele. Thief can’t run around randomly anymore though with all the DPS flying around. You need to actually pay attention to your surroundings and learn to not overextend without all your cooldowns ready. If you really wanna be a 1v1 hero get better at SD thief. 1v1 is not DPs role, and you need to be really good at DP in order to 1v1 the other meta specs.

If I wasn’t making a team I would be interested, but I dont fill the first 3 requirements :P Good Luck anyway though.
