Feel free to quit Engi and find something “better” to play, and then you’d realize how strong Engi always have been. Engi, along with ranger, are 2 of my mains across all 8 professions that I have (I do have numerous experience on all of them), and I always find Engi the strongest among all of them in my PVP game-play.

also thief use shortbow, where rangers can use both short and longbow, and warrior can only use longbow, so there is just as many rifle classes as there are short bow class, as well as longbow classes. and yeah hammer also have just 2 classes currently, warrior and guardian. And of the pistol only 2 classes can wield it in 2 hands (and dual wield it) namely the engineer and thief. Mace can only be used by guardian and warrior too. And about half or more of the weapons i didn’t list have 3 classes, and very few weapons have 4, and no weapon are used by more than that, so rifle is far from special there

I… actually created my own sylvari just today. And I’m already a bit frustrated by the lack of really fitting armor, can’t wait to hit 35 to get the first tier of salad dresses

Considering it takes 3 mins to do the daily in spvp, the PvE choices do seem very strange.

Spend 20$ on gems and get gold.

20 bucks might be 5- 10 mins work in the real real world, so 10/20/30+ hours of brain dead farming for 20 bucks worth of gems? No thanks.

exactly, im talking about that, my sugestion is to remove that animation or reduce it, would make the movment and mobility more smooth

My top 5 (you might notice a pattern on the top 3)
- The party at DR. Canach was simply hilarious during that instance, and the whole thing reminds me of Phoenix Wright.
- Rescuing the Sylvari from the asura lab. I was glad they used Canach’s old model. Added to the consistency of the story. His screams were heartbreaking, too. It was a good instance overall that made me see a less cruel part of Faolain. She seemed genuinely concerned about the Secondborn.
- Looking for Caithe and Canach near Blue Oasis. Love their dialogues, though Canach’s bombs make the instance stupidly easy.
- Glint’s Lair. It was just perfect.
- Going to the Priory and reading ALL those books!

I leveled a new character and finished it with 45% map completion. Less than 10% of my Traits were unlocked.

The system works.

Nothing wrong with this at all. Just go and get the ones you need now that you have dinged.

One of the GREAT selling points of this game is its aesthetics.

so two of my guild mates spent an hour and half grinding one area. they had one with the magic find buff from the pumpkin food (cant remember its name but it came from the Halloween event.) the one with out the buff got more items then the one with. and yes the one with had a magic find of 275 from the buffs while the other had 150 magic find. wondering if this is a fluke or if magic find from buffs is not working?

There is no way to actually prove that Magic Find is or isn’t working, and Arenanet knows that their faithful players will, just as above me, spout the “rng is rng” mantra to cover for it.
