I had thoughts, that the maximum the devs can come up with a number tweak. Our animation fluidity, siphons/healing revamp and other big changes will have to wait min. anoyher 6 months.
So a faster projectile on #1 is what i would recommend.

The biggest problem is not that you lose and more or less perma faceplaming.
Its the fact that your rating goes down to hell , and as such, you will be playing with the same badies tomorrow at normal time.

Sad jokes aside its a nerf, but its good for game. Less oneshot procs, but same constant dmg, which will be easier to balance in future.
Though at best well se a 150s CD, only warior has such attention that they actualy modify skills on a elite.

me flashing a 06206 condi build, waiting for the stars to allign- if i have LF at all in that build , while a hambots fire field + HealingSignet alone makes +500hp/-500hp difference….
Not to mention the loss of Soul marks/fear duration , if youre flashing you still need to cast ds#2 , and the build has MASSIVE counterplay by just doing damage to nero while hes cant use DS.
Theres basicaly nothing beside the DS-stomp to badies in WvW. the cast/chanel reductions were also underwhelming, wheres axe#2, dagger#2,3, focus #4,5 ?
Necro axe#2 didnt get faster, just 10% more dmg , that is always canceled by a sidestep or dodge through your character.
Which also leaves u with 2% LF for next 10 sec
The daggers#2 main problem is the cast at start, the cannel is almost not terrible. I use it, but rarely and in clunky ways.
As for reason, there is none.

5) Sustain….. no comment , as theres nothing to talk about
6) S.Armor …. Why not make it F2 if u want everything on this? whats the point of walk then? too much LF 1v1 ? still dying in teamfight? no changes here

Most run GS+staff
Dodge after he raises his sword, most use his at start to open with GS#4 phantasm.
Dodge if you can when he throws his sword at you GS#2, as this makes a clone and gives might + vuln
CC him to force him into staff. GS autos hurt a lot and the gs cones stack bleed. Staff auto doesnt hurt as much, but the clones stack lots of bleeds if theres many and now theyll bounce
Exit out of the chaos storm ASAP, try to dodge through the clones, when he shatters.
Hes now back to GS, stay on him as GS only has #5 knockback for defense. Dont let him get at range as it deals more dmg and him being in safety.
In general, they always dodge after a shatter to create a clone or two. if you have aoe at that time use it , it puts them out of ammo. Also when they stealth, and dodge, a clone will appear and thats where they were at last.
Avoid spamming skills when they daze combo you, it can activate hakting strike mutliple times and deal dmg
Its why strenght runes are still stppidly OP.
Power even scales better than condi damage, the 4th bonus should be 100% removed.
Almost no runeset has such a gratis effect , and power + might duration is already wombo combo

Agreed, necro needs sustain aka healing hp back capabilities. And the concept of stay in a fight has basicaly perma stability written over it my wish list for tomorrow:
1) removal of nigjtmare roons. No class should be balanced around a 90s one trick pony
2) optional: removal or remodel of fear on CC trait into the failed DM 15trait minor
3) more and mostly RELIABLE life force on scepter , staff
4) power necro cast times reductions , confirmed, hope its enough
5) HEALING but with TRAITS. Aka flat buff siphones by A FEW TIMES + spite XIII heals in DS + regen and outsource healing by %
6) 2x good stunbreak utilities , as CB seems to remain must ,even on non wells power necros
7) nerf to warriors, theyre designed weak to condies, were designed attrition. Currently, nothing is true. Hope the adrenaline nerfs will be enough.

But if you can dispose of or just hint against rumor that, as time passes the company invests less into servers than at launch- altough it seems to be doing good with many new players joining every sale and feature patch, it would be very nice to hear.

kellcam, officialy they fixed DS fall damage with the DS absorbing oneshots. They left spectral walk cz its, harder to pul off, has abysmall effect , and is actualy a fun mechanic.
I play both nec and thief on 2nd, and i will gladly bow to any necro that manages to escape me. thiefs no comment..

Bhawb, is nemesis realy that far off in this one? i mean:
1) he makes builds for pugs. most poeple seeking builds are beginers/mediumer at a class and as such I had no problem recomending a new friend his channel
2) he is against exploits , skip or wall shenanigans. he plays it right
3) The diferences , beside trash mobs without a cleave , were very small. Like 10% min/max. To me, thats as close as balance can go + i cant think of some1 complaining it 44s instead of 40s to kill a boss
4) He said that most others used very “ideal” situations. I know wariors scaling goes through the roof, but what he showed seemed like the most common, normal conditions youd expect
I dont play much PvE , i get it that spojs double dagger mainhand deals more dps. But if his easier to play, ranged dps comes close to 90% dps of that full melee build, then i would recommend nemesis build to 90% of the community.

the 3rd place was xerrexs team Enhanced Gaming, theyre good. but they advanced cz TCG/TM had 2 players missing , the power necro comp totaly lost in semi finals, then they won 3rd place when monks played on their alts and lolz builds.
on NA the team with necro won. the necro is noscoc and is runing full fear (nightmare, reap. prot) carrion
Whats interesting is they won against a double warrior comp. now the NA = EU soloq stuff aside, they had 2 engies and zoose definetly the mvp on fresh air burst ele For me on eu pretty weird stuff (no thief in finals, 1 dps guard, no bunker guard) so it was pretty entertaining
So on average on a full glass target, mind stab does about 2k. With the dps buff, it will now hit for 2.4-2.5k. Wow, so much more damage.
a) the bigger thing is the aoe increase. before u needed some cc, now its basicaly unmissable
b) because its easier to hit = moar boon strip for mesmer (thief + mes combo > necro boonstrip and works good together)
c) greatsword on mesmer is already good
d) edit: i hope wont mind it too much, but basicaly hellseth mesmer build got immense buff
Healing signet…. not nerf…. but balance….. as its still stupidly everpowered……all the active heals are around 300hps , not to mention how bad the passives are (which is good, except warrior seems to hard to play to actualy cover their heal with a CC). im speechless there isnt a 8% or rather 80% nerf this patch.
Zerker stance… a bit too long , 6s base, 8s traited… lets be honest everyone runs at least 2x stance.
Cleansing ire + bow …. dont know how to fix it so the ground learns to dodge
bow fire field… hopefuly gets small due to less adrenaline now, should be fine
Hammer…. 4x CC skils is enough, idk why tanky warrior would need weaknes on #2, trade it for a vuln.
Thats my take, the first two points are the only real part that needs attention. warior is my 3rd , as i dont enjoy it anymore because its boring and mathemticaly proven to be broken (currently, still..)

Healin signet and zerker stance, passives stronger than most actives
Boring to watch , as in teamfights spikes are hard to pull off, while on the other node its just “meh the tankier guy won after a minute”
Mini decap engie, you lose points fast but retaking takes hours
Class stacking, makes other classes left out and not viable
It’s so sad torment was a condition made for us necro for punish people to run away and our best access to it is ……………….. Sigil of torment , while mesmers and p/d thieves keep laughing at us .
Torment was a fail. It was meant for slow power necros to punish fast moving enemys (phase blink mesmer, old RTL ele, thief ).
It seems the game couldnt handle track of units traveled or i would just be too complicated. Imagine a shadowstep up ledge or portal 1-shoting. So they made it work simple. The result is as we all know, just another cover condi, which also scales for condi builds.
Currently, theyre giving power builds a decrease in cast and chanel times. Granted, power necro will mostly lack behind condi, i think it will be pretty close now.
If they increase survival , a small buff to condi (like bleeds unnerf and adding torment, especialy with dumbfire out of the way) would seem ideal state.
granted, milions will come, but i was 1st

I fortunately dont play against PUs very often and still they always lose points. But i am very scared of such stuff ever becoming remotely viable. I also despise the idea, that someone may be giving their best in lets say top80-90% soloq, but losing to such lame builds.
I wish mesmers a working scepter weapon set, and a removed Prismatic Understanding trait.

whered you come with qickening thirst? traveler is pretty much best rune for us , even arguably better for 1v1 as the nightmare pony is a 1x shot 90s CD, while traveler makes kiting possible
celestial is ok , a must for eles, nice on engie.

Yup. Combine bloodthirst and ditch vampiric precision and balance it out from there. And still it wont work for zerker or carrion, no toughnes no EHP, so what stays is rabid amulet only. maybe some knights for soloq
Also i think all the stuff we can get ourselves should not work against each other. Parasitic contagion, all siphon procs, possibly even regen should all work in DS.
Now i would exclude blood well, as its kinda outsidish , and healing from allies, that is would heal with decreased %. And then only a supportive trait like blood GM would allow us to take condis from alies but they can heal us in return.

I think they designed burning as a passive dmg boost to power builds. Hence the high base and stacking only in duration. Altough engies relly solely on burning and cover condies
Anyway, the biggest problem is still hambot/axebot. Not just 20x might stacking , but the everpulsing fire field the size of legacy……Hoping the adrenaline nerfs will lower the uptime emough
We will not criticize or suggest the impossible to be done in a few days.
What it would mean to us:
- nobody was left out
- sparks of hope for tournaments , which means more signups
- worst case a number tweak, due to overwhelming response
