I mean the idea is not only natural, its what most other games have. A heal/cleanse which removes posion, or another against snares. The thief example is the best, otherwise well always rely on spam vs. spam+1
Theyre also exact 6 vs 6 in terms of damage/controll effects

I doubt. they said they remove glory, so we might see something then, but this was actualy a good move by Anet.
If they gave us straight glory to gold, this would basicaly just add gold to game, increasing inflation. Instead, what they made with the gifts was, pvp poeple trading existing gold with pve.
So any upcoming method will probably be worse, the only thing im not sure about is crafting pvp legendaries.
A big thanks for letting poeple know of this method, id otherwise just skip the pve merchants like always

It depends what “skill” means to u.
a) a lot of buttons to press = ele/engie . counterargument especialy for engie is spam without any punishment
b) a unforgiving build. as opposed to above, on a pure glassy u need to hit all your stuff, at the right time, the result of a single mistake is a trip to respawn. The counterargument here is that some bursts have no real counters + doing well means your team is actualy doing great on covering you
c) beat the pros at their own game. meta builds. theyre simply the best at their role against most other builds. a backstab thief can kill anyone , while s/p can kill a necro without casting a skill , it will die to say retal from guard.. Simply raise to the top and most will consider you a skilled player
d) Be something special. A role no1 will excpect on your class, but you have to do well with it. Example, I often have good results playing a necro bunker, simply because it throws poeple off guard. They waste 1min+ 1v1 or focus me in group, while they go down faster. Whats the downside? hard counters, shatter mesmer in my case
Its totaly for pvp. It starts procing once target is below 50% and has and ICD of 20s.
if youre pve, im 99% ur power specced, in that case the axe/might on lifeblast traits would deal more dmg. mobs dont have many boons, meaning ull be hiting the lower dmg part of it.
the axe trait for 10%dmg works while in DS giving axe +DS1 same bang as staff with DS1

as far as google says, some ppl only have encrusted due to bug mix with orrian, but thats long ago.
seems like RNG isnt over and u still need 1,2,3x crit for it.
im thinking of trying my luck with 1h sword for icy dragon or bramble.

Normaly u lose " 4% per 1s + dmg " . Now u just lose " 2% per 1s + dmg " .
All dmg will be calculated normaly (armor,crit, protect….)
Its now better for soaking up Condis since theyre DoTs. I run soldier+30pts SR and its quite noticable.
I completely got rid of spectral mastery when im playing power. Even before i rather used flesh wurm for stunbreak.
The 30/10/00/30 lifeblast build is good, chill of death now also procs at 50%.
Necromancer view:
-CD is 28s with trait , still kinda long
- Passive: the ICD ruins it, but luckily Anet has a bug going, which disables signets on DeathShroud … so theres no worries whatsoever
- Active: loong cast , 2x animations, making it interuptable and avoidable … and its still bad

Most new heals are group support. Necro has enough of that +for necro, just staying alive means weaker enemys = support. But NO way to sustain ourselves, which was class logo. Id dish any group heals, just for stronger selfish siphons

Whole yesterday and today, from 15.00-02.00 (central EU) , in pvp and in pve dungeons. The point where complains start is, when our skills dont fire and we have to double press them.
Dagger is #3 skill , while pindown is #5.
Therefore, it must be stronger.
Use a #5 skill to save the day…oh, the 1.25s cast never hits… well at least wariors 4k aoe blast on 2x lower CD is worse than our #3 ………. yeah…. better stop comparing to warr

- necro dagger ? honestly dont know a good fix, that Anet has time for…#2 is useless unless high toughnes + some healing p. …. A meh fix would be -CD

Yes. They dont want a necro overbuff , especialy with a 2nd healing signet.
My hopes and guess is, theyre playing it safe with this one while making a solution for healing/regen in DS

I myself would remove the ICD and fix the signet DS bug. Or leave ICD in DS.

Mesmer – strongest for the worst mesmers
Engie – seems good risk/reward , i dont play engie but could we see a 4x self rezz?
Ele – maybe extra blast in wvw/GvG ? seems weak
Guard – wvw maybe , pvp ill just dodge or CC him
Necro – thanks John for being honest, imo this one is subject to change
Warior – also good risk/reward, just HOW does is deal with condies? I hope its not another 3s added where you cant fear them
Thief – venom share is good for preactivating them, which doesnt work a heal. Too long CD. Has to be balanced around too many traits
Ranger – ANOTHER SPIRIT granted its weak, others are already great, but not a step in right direction

The catch is the “furtunate” bug for signets not working in DS, so they dont need to waste time balancing it.

-stand around for 20min picking party
-do the run in 20min, rushing/exploiting all the beautiful content
- add 20min since 5 idiots together means 1-2 always screw up
all while u calmly do the dungen in 1h, enjoy it, support your alies with wells, and even recieve thanks for it.

Im mainly interested in the “close to death / thief executioner” traits, for if it is generaly worth bursting a necro when his DS is under 50% ?
a small 1-pixel line on enemy bar and 2 stripes on each side of your hp circle would be pretty fine
When u fall from #500 to #800 , u get a RED/DOWN arrow of 300, since u lost 300 ranks.
But when u fall of leaderboards into % area, and u lose from 95% to 90% , u get the GREEN/UP arrow.
Maybe that mixed something up, since you would need a big losing streak right after the MMR reset, and you sad you won most games.

Id dare to say more necros play power, since we got bored of condi and it is less hard countered by wariors (40% of pvp atm -.- ) And mesmer CC+vigor have always been the counter to any power necro spec.
Though i think the results are mostly soloQ, tryhard team would still take condi since they can keep him alive.
My power necro hate list:
1) warior
2) mesmer
3) engie
Basicaly anything with CC , evades also kill our long cast times.
keep the reset in mind which means ranks will have big jumps before they settle

Joke aside the rune gives better damage than a nightmare proc on terrormancer ( 90s ICD ). Just for comparison… oh and nightmare is actualy one of the better runes ingame
The negative feedback poeple give you is because you seem like a new player , who got the wrong 1st impression. Theres nothing wrong with it, as long as you are prepared to listen, be reasonable and accept the fact that you arent showing anything special in the videos……… ur pretty bad actualy, both of u

Poeple who ONLY duel, use the 3min elites once every third match… u get the idea probably

Progression is atm mostly “fun playing” … BUT I assure you, once you know the gameplay its addictive
Farming same cof for hours is repetative/boring… A clutch 1-second rezz/stomp/decap gives a much bigger rush of adrenaline and satisfaction.
They will add rewards in december so check that out.
You can start learning now already, theres a lot of good begginer guides,builds,videos. And always ask , most poeple are helpfull
We should have a poll on it
a) 3-5-full cleanse on self , (per target hit)
b) 3-5-full cleanse on allies within circle , (per target hit)
c) 3-5-full transfer to enemy , (per target hit)
This are the boundaries I see them choosing from. Maybe make it like dagger (3 condi trans) but it works for 5 allies/enemies hit. Or like said before, go along the selfish full cleanse route..

Leavers in the long run will be equaly on both sides.
But there is MANY more new players to basicaly farm right now. It was same half year ago.
It is also easier to get a good head start and then try to hold it, than to climb the ladder from bottom.
I was hoping for just the bug fix and THEN to start debates on balancing it. But the tool-tip fix realy seems like the final nail in the coffin…..
I mean Anet rarely reverts/admits changes, they rather make up for it with a buff on something else.

What I would like to see:
-Celestial / All-stat to give more stats like in PvE
-a “Power-Precision-Toughness-Anything” combo , with toughness being a minor. This is a MUST to keep zerker viable
-Bigger custumization with jewels
