What do you think if staff ele gets a buff across the table for all non-fire spells damage increases by 25%, fire a 10%.

Fire #2 was more like necros mark where the first tick is instant, perhaps hits harder than the rest.

Air #1 could bounce off you.

Making air gust #3 a 90/120 degree PBAoE cone with 900 for 90 degre or 120 degree for 600 range

Earth #4 applying 5 stacks of torment

You could detonate Earth #2 earlier for double CD.

Thoughts?

Personally i dislike the underwater combat because;

1) Heavily Unbalanced
2) Z axis
3) No, seriously, heavily unbalanced, it has been 1 year since release and the game is in a really bad balancing state, and now you want to make it worse by adding more stuff to take into consideration?!
4) Cant seem to be able to get my point across clearly so I will say it again; game is really unbalanced, underwater is even worse.
5) Cant finish off players there, rangers are impossible to kill, mesmers can put and keep up 25 stacks of bleed in less than 2 seconds, you cant hit thieves, eles get rolled, guardians are so meh….etc etc etc

noticed this in CoE and Fractals in general, im not kidding you when I tell you that my entire premade always has me running around not doing much because most of the fight the bosses go for me regardless of what I do……. back when the mobs in Giant fractal could show the /point it would ALWAYS be me, even if I was at the back. Lupicus ALWAYS goes for me until Im dead in second phase. It doesnt matter if I only attacked once, he will go for me. My guild always laugh at it but Im sad because I have to pay the zhaitan shard swith my body and repair gold :C

WvW is just a small problem, there are already good and bad wepaon choices regarding that for ALL classes, I dotn see why you think guardians are excluded from this when staff is almost a most-have for most zergs and sword/focus for roamers. I think this would only make it so that GS see some action on WVW other than showing off that Sunrise/Twlight weapon. But WvW apart, it isnt my field and I dont find it fun, thi is more towards the sPvP side of the game, where everyone can literally kite us in circles and all we have to content with is ‘Miss’ ‘Miss’ ‘Miss’ use a long CD gap closer, continue to see ‘Miss’ ‘Miss’, and thats without a cripple or freeze.

Also, while the damage is…“ok”, for the purpose of a glass cannon it is NOT ok, in fact, it is very anti “ok” given that for the average damage it has, it is nearly impossible to hit with.

Also, I believe in PvE the skill could hit a little bit harded. Just for reference look up this warrior hitting 42k with a 100b. I dont want to have 42k damage given how 100b does have the handicap of not being able to move, but warrior have frenzy, and can root on slow, so landing a full 100b almost always ensure a near or secured death. We, get slowed 25% and even if landing the skill inside them the damage is just average. For a skill with also a handicap there should be a reward. Back in the early days it was nerfed since people didnt know how guardians worked. Now not only do people know, but we got more nerfs to out base health and heals, I think it is time to compensate somewhere…

Unfortunately all can tell you is; reroll as well.

I played exclusively ele for 11 months, only character. I tried ALL builds, including all weapon combos, went to forums and tried builds, humbled and asked for advice.

Believe me man, I tried EVERYTHING, they are just not cutting it. After I got sick and tired of getting ignored, I decided to roll for a guardian, which is eles x3 in EVERY ASPECT OF THE GAME. Ok let me put it into perspective; my fully geared with ascended ele tried Liadri for over 100 times, leaving her like at 10-20% hp at the last trials, I could have probably gotten her but I decided I had enough. THen, out of a wimp and seeing how many guardians had beaten her, I decided to bring my Guardian, which I sh[t you not, had greens with random stas, a rabid scepter adn a rare cleric torch, grabbed a rare staff with I dont even remember the stats, only 2 trinkets, both lvl 10 green with power and some vit (Im not kidding you….) went shouts with AH and got her in less than 10 trials, then tried a radiance Zeal build and beat her again……

Right there I realize how f[cked up the class is on sustain, damage and utility. Perhaps Im not the best ele player in the world, but Im able to fend off uite well by myself. But you know something is wrong when I have to put 4 times the effort to be on par with a bad player playing any other class, and playing with someone who knows more than what their 1-4 skills does can and most likely than not will kill me/make me run away with my tail between my legs and the pride sh[tted on.

Sadly until we get some deserved buffs I will advise you to turn away and leave the class as the critter it is. Only then, when they get close to no representation is that Anet will realize how much the f[cked up.

Greatsword Damage

Good evening,

In lights of a recently closed thread which arguably did not posses a very open to discussion opening post nor tittle, I decided to give a couple of reasons as to why I believe Greatsword should have more damage and/or some quality of life improvements;

For a melee weapon we are subjecting to a lot of danger, things like this is rewarding in classes such as Warriors which tend to be melee and hence hit really hard. Same for Ranger’s melee which, proven by Brazil DPS test, it can hit quite high.

Guardians DPS isnt all that bad, I have found myself hitting 5-6k with a single autoattack when having 25 might stacks and a warrior’s banner, but the problem is; anyone can hit that or more with that many buffs, even my ranged staff ele (which is one of the most underpowered classes in the game) can hit that hard in those perfect conditions. The other problem is mostly when you find yourself in a non-AI encounter (PvP, the lack of chasing tools, or rather , the amount of sacrifice you have to make just to be able to catch up and keep up with someone for a very limited window of time makes it so that we cant unelash our potential.

Perhaps our damage is ok math wise, but no point in having a 1-hit KO skill if it cant hit, so here are my 2 possible solittions;

Solution #1:

-Increase Autoattack Speed by 10-20% and revert the Whirling Wrath damage nerf of 25% damage. Skill #4 would inflict swiftness if it hits an enemy/or cripple them, also reduce aftercast root of #4. Why? So that the little we can hit actually matter rather than just having newbs who stay for too long due to lack of experience, when everyone knows we can be easily outrun.

Solution #2:

I left this one for the end because it could introduce something new to Guardians. Auto attack 1 would give a 2 seconds vigor. Auto attack 2 would cripple 1 – 1.5 OR on autoattack 1 apply swiftness and second autoattack apply vigor. Still revert the WW damage nerf of 25% and decrease the aftercast root of #4.

This is amazing weapon but given how everyone has been buffed lately I think we need a little oofm to get this weapon going as an integral chasing tool that relies on attacking enemies rather than trusting they are new, inexperienced players.

Thank you for reading and I hope this is more open to suggestions and possible improvements. I see the guardian as a very well rounded class who only needs an extra push to get going!

PvE staff ele, ideas?

Problem with the staff isnt that it is bad, it is that it is terrible agaisnt anything that doesnt have PvE AI. For PvE staff is fine, it will not be super powerful but if you go for damage and it has some stationary bosses then you will be fine. You will have to kite a LOT since you are going to be squishy, but in PvE you can cast the AoE on you and run in circles and they will die.

For maximal damage I recommend 30/20/0/0/20 with focus on 10% attuned to fire and 1 might stack everytime you cast a fire spell. On air focus on BOlots to the heart 20% increase when the enemy is 33% or lower hp and 10% damage increase when using arcane spells

for Arcane get V and VIII since it gives buff when changing attunements and you need blasting staff.

For spells take the arcane shield and it is up to you to get arcane blast for dungeons and finishers or arcane projectile for open world PvE which has a smaller CD. LAstly signet of air for moving around fast, when you are attuned to air you have a 10% move increase which stacks wiht signet of air for perma swiftness.

Have to be SUPER careful though, you have barely any healing, and the little healing you are have is very conditional. The damage is easily avoidable and your defense depends on very long CDs that even if landed perfectly will not guarantee safety, at all.

For better results reroll (like most of us have) to guardian or warrior; more damage, more utility, more survival, wanted more in all aspects of the game, will not make you want to tear a Dev or two when you see that everyone gets buffs and all you get are tool tips fixes and the occasional “increased the cooldown doubled if it doesnt hit anything” or “more healing nerfs” or “more damage nerfs” or “less mobility”, etc etc etc etc….

Sorry to break it down to you, OP, but

You cant re-release a released game. It wont be for us, while we are part of NCSoft, Anet is by definition a freely associated company of their own which can take some decisions (to certain extent)

Doing the game with said program would mean reprograming EVERYTHING from scratch, which we all know wont happen

I knew this was a troll post the moment I saw Staff ele and nerf in the same sentence.

By now I hope everyone recognizes that staff ele is THE most underpowered class/combo in the ENTIRE game outside WvW zerg wall raids, in which anything with more than 900 range is good so thats not a good excuse.

I have yet to see a single red post on the ele forums too, I already rerolled guardian long time ago and laugh at the free kills Im getting from targetting eles………………..then I cry because I love eles and it sucks seeing them in such a shi]tty situation

I would pay a 6 monthly expansion ($40-$50) in order to ahve less RNG and more fun and play-what-you-want-and-still-get-fully-rewarded stuff.

Dont get me wrong, I love the game, I love the LS, the lore to certain extent, voice acting, have recommended to game to several people and they play it and love it.

But I have a couple problems that are completely understandable, Anet have workers that have family and they need to be paid, and Im ok with that, Im tight with money but I would gladly spend it like I already am, but the proble isnt me, the problem is people who do not think like me, anmd to certain extend me myself.

Let me explain:

RNG: Nothing is more frustrating than throwing countless amount of weapons and gold into forging an item totally dependent on luck. Sure I could buy gold with gems and then the precursor, but here is my problem: I made a vow;

“The moment I make a gold purchase (a virtual currency) with real currency it is the moment I know I became an addict and Im hereby require to unistall the game before I do the same mistake [I did in the 2 previous Korean MMOs I played which I wont mention]”

The other reason being that gold value changes overtime and thus money cant really be a good measure of gold unless you base it on current market.

Example of RNG well done; the Zephyr. I bought about $40 right off the bat first day because I knew that I was paying for scraps rather than a ticket, the ticket was a plus. I got my 2 zephyrite helemts and 2 wind catchers. I was happy, you got money, nobody got screwed over by RNG, everyone wins.

RNG badly done ; Precursors for both open world drops and Mystic Toilet, fractal weapons, T6 mats, weapons ticket system.


Second problem; people with alts and acc/soul bound items, aka legendaries, dungeons rewards, dungeon story, map completition.

This is to a lesser extent; I was playing a main for 11 months, ele, was about to finish bifrost, got frustrated with the poor balancing in this game and switched to guardian. Could you imagine if now I had a Bifrost sitting on a character I shelved without any hopes of ever using it again, negating 11 months or hard work? I would pay gems for an item that lets me de-souldbound something and make it account bound. I dont want to have it available for all stuff other wise we would have people migrating one single set of gear around several characters, but certain items shouldnt even be soulbound to begin with, like really exotic (as in really hard to craft) weapon skins.


Pace of content is too fast; Im a full time college student with a part time job and a family to attend, my spare time I play but I now have the pressure of doing content in the first 2 week before the new patch is added and my hopes to get people to do the content before they move on is over. THATS STRESFUL! I have to make decisions; work on stuff like getting some gold from dungeons, do daily or run all the meta events which have been very grindy lately (13 invasions?!) because if I dont do it, the rewards and hope of ever getting those cool skins will be gone FOREVER (normally I buy store minis, and collect weapon skins, so thats the way I play).

Please slowdown, as much as I love the SAB I cant keep p with it and have decided to not do it, it is too overwhelming and I need gold to buy all the t6 mats and precursor I need.


Lastly, the main reason why I gave up completely in PvP and have not set foot on it for 4 months except to travel to LA for free or try a new build on golems;

It is just terrible, Im sorry, I love the game but the balance is terrible. You have seriously strong classes in ALL aspects of the game; warriors. Then you have classes that used to be good and now are beyond trash in all levels of the game; eles. You have blatant issues like stealth which isnt all that OP now but it is as annoying as always and used mostly to troll. Condition running rampant with almost no way to counter other than having 3 cleanses and 9999 vitality, leaving classes like eles and guardian with small hp pools having to give up a lot of damage in order to just be able to cleanse stuff. Also, check the holy trinity Warrior/mesmer/guardian, I rolled a guardian myself since if you cant beat them….

Anyways, Anet, if resources is what you need then Im willing to fund them with expansions rather than see you suffer from those greedy bosses that just want to milk their costumers based on gambling issues. Im sure Colin is trying and I hope he succeeds!

More Tier 6 Resources

This has been talked about a LOT, players are experiencing it, T6 mats altogether are too scarce, even with the champion drops, where at best I get t5 mats, 3 or 4 of them.

Crystaline Dust is still too scarce for how much is used, destroying ectos only adds salt to the injury since ectos are relatively hard to come by already (albeit more predictable) and they are used in the 250 stack for almost any receipt, making them being expensive.

All I can tell you is; salvage moar greens :/

Several threads have been made about this, Anet does not care, the fact that you are spending more time playing game is good for them, believe it or not, it is a time sink, that if you want to bypass then you have to pay a fee (if you have the desired WP) which is another sink, a gold sink

I hope this gets implemented hopefully before GW3 in 4-5 years from now.

problem is; how do you balance it such a way that it isnt better than having real players and not so useless than it becomes as pointless as Logan and that….charr in CoE, where they spent 96% time dead?

If you make them too weak then it will be the same as not having them, they would probably act like dummies like PvE mobs, only there as a DPS source. They woudl not know how to follow command; try fighting Alpha with them, they will wipe the moment you start the fight. Are you aware of how much programing it would be necessary to make them do CoF p1, the balls, the 4 switches, how do you make them know which one will do the gate? How do you make them know where to skip? How do you make them know when to dodge, what skills they should use, what tactic you have in mind, how would they react if you decide to make it as a 2 players 3 henchmen? etc etc etc etc etc the list can go on.

Too much work and it goes agaisnt what the game stands for; being social. If you dont like PuGs get your own henchmen; aka guild mates and friends. There is just too much work to do besides just programing them for every single dungeon and every single path.

Im well against it, they should never put resources into this, if anything, important things need attention like; class balance, precursor crafting, optimization, reward system, UI, animations, clipping, game polishing, improvement of the game core mechanics, etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc

this has been covered several times; it wont happen anytime soon, if ever.

Gift of Exploration to name one of the many issues.

I know it sucks starting from the beginning, i have 1 100% map completition, 51% on another, and 16% in the last one, believe me, your problem is not unique.

Personally I dont care too much about it unless I want more than 2 legendaries, in which case i havent even finished 1. The map completition comes naturall for the most part. If what you want is the WP then I can advice you to run around the maps solely getting them, I did this with my 3 toon that way i can be anywhere without actually having to do every single map from scratch.

My concern isnt for me, really, it is for my newly introduced (by me) cousin and friend who have decided to start playing after I assured them they would like this game (truth be told, I felt lonely playing alone so I hooked them on with false promises, I cant wait until they find out this is just another grindfest MMO, by then they will be hooked up like all of us) but Im worried about them getting karma for Obsidians Shards, the only options left I know are FoTM lower level (minimal gain) and trainzergs which gain is minimal too.

For some reason im not receiving Karma from dungeons, was this part of the karma gutti…. rework? Because as someone who had too much of it (3.1 Million) and is left with nothing (lots of obsi) I have noticed that karma is harder to come by now…

Does Anet intend to introduce karma items while gating its access?

I love the asura’s animation (hate their personalities though) and one of the main reason I havent roled an alt one is because how insignificant the armors and weapons look on them, a greatsword doesnt even look like a dagger, instead it looks like a toothpick. You have an easier time finding out details on minis that on Asura’s armor….

Still, nothing would ever make me reroll my Sylvari, they are THAT awesome!

Isnt the build to short in health, link shows 10k hp btw thats way to short in WvW, some skills can take almost the double of that health if requirements are met and this is on guardians wit protection and 3.3k+ armor.

Dunno where you saw 10k hp, I checked the link again to see if it was an error but no, it says 14khp, around 19k effective health, let me copy/paste the stats

Basically you hit as hard as a zerker can in 2 handed sword but sacrifice some burst (good for clearing up trash) in order to attain more boss-fight survivability and cleansing.

14k hp and 2.6k armor, though that can increase by equipping some knight/valkiry stuff and increase your survival even more, which makes it better for WvW in small skirmishes as an off damage dealer.

I have tried several different builds, this one is the best one I could find that brings buff lots of boons, heals, cleansing, while still pumping out a serious amount of dmaage, enough o make you a threat that if you ignore; you die.

I dont like to think of it as money, the moment you do that you put value to it and value of things changes over time. For example I only think of money as flat amounts and do not account for any materials I have in the inventory. Sure I follow some parts of the TP for potential sales and maximun profit, but as someone who wants to collect weapons I like to think that, given how I take long term commitments with games, on the long run, MF might pay off.

I used to have 106% MF flat without any buffs only from runes infusion and guild buff, once I reach that point I would have all I needed and had. Anything after that is a bonus, I already salvaged a lot of stuff fo materials. You people keep forgetting that but, materials ARE worth something too! Greens hav higher chances at ori and ancient logs. At the current market prices a single ori is worth about 3-4 greens, and an ancient log about 9-10 greens.

With those material (mithril and elder logs together with t5 mats) you can easily craft some stuff which you can : 1) throw into the MF for exotics which sell hih now, or 2) sell at TP for some flat profit or 3) salvage for chances for 2-3 ectos which would pay off the investement for sure!

People, look at the other side always, dont think in flat profit only, take a gamble, think in how long are your long term goals and work around them. The economy is undergoing a lot o changes now, learn the patterns and learn to adapt. Remember that materials sitting in your banks and are absolutely nothing unless you use them or sell them. Value of things change overtime (as they do in life) so take advantage of it. I currently believe long term profit will benefice us ALL on the long run; we dont have enough mats in the game, we dont need more gold, everytime you sell a weapon to avendor you are sinking mats and rising the value of gold, actually making that gold you just got a lot less valuable.

I wish people had a better understanding of some basic economic stuff like these…

you do know an artificer can refine essences, so you end up using fewer clicks. Well many clicks for the salvaging itself, but not as many to use the essences.

does it net the same ammount or less? does it cost?

As someone who has recently created several chars it pains me that it wasnt enough nerfing the rewards for multiples chars, which was understandable, but the only thing that made story mode soulbound justificable is now gone, I think it is time to drop the soulbound story mode and make it accountbound for once!

I dont know why do I keep coming back to ele subforum, perhaps since I played religiously for a year, perhaps because deep down they are still my favorite class. It pains me seeing said class having to eat the dust, when many people like would like to play a truly magical class in a magical world and feel powerful.

The class has so much potential, all other classes bore me but when it comes to getting things done, I have learned (almost by classical conditioning, FORCED conditioning) that for the right job you need the right tool, and eles just do not cut it anymore, in fact, the way I played ele NEVER cut. You see, I played exclusively staff, it wasnt until recently that it got some buffs, but before then we received all the nerfs that were intended to D/D and make our job near impossible.

Can you believe that the most iconic weapon of a magical class, the staff, is something that you almost call moronic to use outside WvW walls? So much wasted potential, so much of it…

Personally I already salvaged all blues, greens I used to throw them into the MF for a chance at rares. I had more than enough ectos for my almost done legendary so I ws doing it just because there was a chance and I would rather take that chance than a flat 1 silver per green flat regardless. I need the mats and now I also get rewarded with some MF, though I used to have 106% MF before patch at expense of runes and some infusions, which decreased my effective power too little to notice. Yesterday I got a rare from a simple mob, I have gotten it before the changes but it sure felt nice.

As long as mats are my primary concern then I will keep salvaging.

A major thing this patch was the green salvaging without the UI question!!! It makes salvaging so much easier! I have 20 slots normal, 2 greens, 1 rare, 1 exotic and 1 hidden all 20 slots bags and I used to do this because I hated the question now Ijust go from top to bottom salvaging anything that falls before the rares and voila! Its amazing

I’m running on a 0-10-10-30-20 focused on Pure of Voice and empowering might.

I’m still very undecided about runes:
1) Soldier Runes: + vitality and extra help with conditions
2) following the boonway: monk/water/ traveller to get the extra boon duration which I tend to enjoy quite a bit

My other dilemma…stat and their thresholds. I’m trying, bear in my crappy gear, to build a balanced build but I’m not sure about the numbers:
Health – 16k to 17k enough?
Armour – is 2400 enough?
Crit Chance – 60 I think it’s not bad for a guard.
Crit dmg – 62 enough?

Any suggestion or comment will be highly appreciated!!!!!!!!

60 crit chance? Definitely not possible with that, unless you are counting on being perma burned 24/7, and with Pure of Voice shouts you will be converting said burn into regen. The highest you can get (crit chance) is around 50~55% if yo dont take into accoutn radiance 30 for 15% crit chance.

I think you are asking for a one man army thing, I also wish I could have all that

I already rerolled, I made several posts about how eles were a poor’s man guardian, when it come to buffs, damage, survival. I tried liadri over 100 times with my ele, always leaving her like at 20-30% hp at the last trials, fully ascended gear. Then comers my half exotic armor, rest yellow, including weapon and trinkets guardians and defeats her in less than 10 trials, twice with 2 different builds…

Another example was TA; perma dying at the wurm, 2-3 attacks and BAM, downed, fully zerker too. My guardian? Pumping as much damage, giving 15 might stacks, healing it off with AH and to top it off; about pretty much the same damage than my ele with also zerker gear.

I think a good way to test a class worth is the persisntence of subforum’s status. You go to the guardian forum and you barely se any discontent in balance, yet ele forums are 8/10 complains (well founded ones mind you). Of course Im talking over long periods of time, not over a patch or such.

Im by no means a new player to the class. Exclusively played ele until 1 month ago, almost finished Bifrost on it. Spent countless of gems in soulbound items on it and was my main for all that time. Got tired of being ignored. I now roll a guardian and never have I been happier.

Do I miss eles? kitten YES I DO, would I want them viable? kittenING YES YOU BET, Would I play them seriously as my main again? NO until they get their deserved buffs

Considering we only hae 3 options main hand; dagger melee, scepter mid melee and staff long range, it pains me seeing that the only “viable” option is staying up close for a one pony trick gimmick, that is not viability. Basically it is attempt to burst them down with 2 arcanes (no room for defense traits) and fire/freash air, if they survive (you would be surprised if I tell you that anything non-zerker is very likely to survive) then you better say your prayers or spend your ult plus the last utility (all in long CD) for a chance of getting away which, 8/10 times results in you dying nonetheless since you are on CD and with no defensive utilities…

If you think AH is useless in PvE then you probably havent gotten past FoTm 19. Not only do you need it but you are encourage to not dying while pumping good damage. A dead guardian is an useless guardian. A guardian that brings no utilities and buffs is only a warrior that hits half as hard.

Before I stopped doing fractals I was regularly doing 38 with me as a beserker guardian with 2-3 zerk warriors, 1 zerk necro and 0-1 zerk mesmer. There are people who run fractal 79 with no guardians. When you get to higher levels you get 1shot by pretty much everything so dps is the only thing you should be worrying about along with damage avoidance (blinds, reflects, aegis, evades).

I run coe all the time and whoever takes the guard in the group is always running a dps zerker build. No one goes below full – 90% hp unless they screw up and I guarantee its considerably faster than your runs.

. I havent gotten past FOTM 46 running GS/Scepter focus. I have full zerker gear despite my 0/5/30/30/5 build, because I already have 45% crit chance I dont think I need more from traits, 30% crit increase for a total of 110% sure is good. I already have plenty of damage multipliers. AH is there because despite what anyone can say, you CANT dodge everything. I know CoE by memory now and every now and then the boss gives me a hug. In TA more often than not I get focused 80% of the time so I like to not be a hindrance to anyone by having them revive me.

Perhaps your CoE are faster than mine, I dont deny it. But you see, you burn content. My pace is maybe 1-2 minutes longer, but I had fun by hacking away with weapons I wanted. Perhaps you enjoy sword, I dont. It is a matter of taste.

People tend to forget this is a game, not a job, I have enough stress already to have someone in a game to tell me what to do as well. Some traits are more forgiving than others, some traits are more rewarding than others, it is personal taste what matters here. If you want to have a 1 minute shorter run at expense of having nearly no fun (read intrinsic vs extrinsic fun, you will see what Im talking about when it comes about the rewards of dungeons and actually doing the dungeo) then it is not worth it for me.

Let me paraphrase something I read on Urban Dictionary once, I wont bother to post the current definitions there now because they are very offensive and unnecesary;

Im by no mean a new player, Im well aware of DPS builds that go with the 1h sword randiance 30 points, Im well aware of meditation builds, shout builds, etc. I tried them all, I found that the most fun for me came from being somewhat tanky, giving buffs, healing it off since Im always in the front line and above all; never hold my team back in DPS. Basically I hit almos as hard as anyone else but I gave up some burst for the sake of keeping everyone alive, including myself, fully buffed so that in the long run our DPS is greater, less time ressing (if needed) and more having fun.

AH is NOT bound to skills, I beat liadri with an AH build and a Shout build, both worked perfectly, both are functional. In PvE sure it is nice to clear everything really fast but I personally dont have fun hacking away at a boss with a 1h sword, thats not what i had intended when I picked guardian, otherwise I would have gone fo Warrior who is just as effective, if not more.

I did COE a little while ago with two people I knew and some PUGs, we advertised an experienced group and then when it came to burning down the bosses they took longer than usual. What a surprise, the PUGs weren’t properly geared when I asked for a ping.

Please get this right at once, there is absolutely nothing legendary about RNG. Period. As simple as that.

Wanna know what is something that could qualify as Legendary? Beating Liadri. Beating her using 8 light orbs. Beating her with 8 light orbs and 5 debuffs, Beating her using a staff as an elementalist. Now THATS worth mentioning, that makes you relatively good.

Throwing 400 gold into the Mystic Toilet and getting nothing while someone else throws $500 or 16 rares and get a precursor has no merit nor any “legendary” status.

I was thinking about this too…

but then again, the rewards for it are not all that great to make it stay. If there were to stay around then Im sure you would see people asking for SAB themed armors (i know I would) and such… as well as the return of the previous skins (I did get to collect most skins I wanted, but I regret selling my sword since now i cant pair my shield with anything..)
