People in this thread, that’s apparently not effort. And it’s not good enough. The reward has to be from the hard content and ONLY the hard content. Have you not read a single thing they’ve been saying?

I don’t have a problem with the rewards being available to for example laurels or a simular HoT currency, being seriously time gated.

However, for every single player actually doing or trying to do hardcore content, the hardcore content should still be the best way to get this item by far.

I’ve said before i have no problem with some bosses being super easy at the start, and them dropping for example 1 token, while endbosses and really hard stuff drops 10-20 tokens. I even don’t have a problem with the worldbosses in HoT, if there are any, dropping some tokens/day. I just want to make sure that even a casual who attempts hardcore content after a while, should have an incentive to do so.

Let’s say hardcore content atm has 3 armor sets, and a full weapon set. There should be no way that non-hardcore people get all this stuff within a year. It will take most hardcore people, if it’s decent hard content, a serious time to get trough this. And then they have to farm it. I don’t mind having multiple ways to gain rewards if you really want 1 item, however i feel that owning all these items, should still be something only the hardcore content players get to do. Don’t lock anyone out, but if you don’t play the content, you’ll have to choose wich reward you want, because it will take you longer.

I don’t think i’m making an unreasonable request, of course it doesn’t have to be like this and this could be ignored, but i still fail to see any downsides. And if something only has possitive effects, why not do it?

There may not be an issue to you, but to me, and several in this thread, it is a hard choice. Not one i won’t make eventually, but a kittene nonetheless.
How it’s looking now, the revenant is probally gonna be my new main, and i’d wanna start it right away, but i want to play with my guild even more. So given the time i can invest, i’ll have to leave the revenant till i cleared the entire expansion with an alt.

And again, there really is no downside. If all pre-order players get the revenant a bit early, even if it’s 3 days like at GW2 launch we got the game 3 days early as pre-orders, that would mean allot to me, and wouldn’t negatively impact anyone’s experience in the process. So again, what is the harm? It’s not like the class won’t be ready 3 days before release.

I understand you want something from HoT early.
Don’t we all.
But your asking something from the HoT content, the expansion.
As we do not know the release date, all/most of it will come out on release.
I want the glider to be released early.
But no, it’s just something that I desire.
So it might not hurt anyone nor have any negative effects that we might know about,
But what’s gonna be is what’s gonna be. Laws the law.
If it does come out early, it will come out early as the whole HoT. Not just the rev.

This has nothing to do with desire for something new, i don’t mind waiting for the expansion, i’m talking about giving everyone equal oppertunity to level their revenant, and not forcing us to rush it. I think a few days to level a new class before the jungle opens up is nothing anyone can disagree with.

Welll OP, I am afraid it just won’t happen. You are going to have to pick one or the either. Run with your guild or level a revenant, but we will not get revenant early because it isn’t ready.

Of course it’s not ready yet, i’m not talking about now, i’m talking about a few days before HoT comes out, you know, when it is ready. That choice is bad gamedesign and i hope we don’t have to make it. Forcing people to not play with their friends for wanting to play the new class is just wrong.

And i’m hoping the devs agree. I still haven’t heard any reasonable argument why this shouldn’t happen.

OP, I can guarantee that the first few weeks after reoease will be loaded with a kitten ton of bugs in the new content. Your guildies may be attempting the new content first, but they will be the ones dealing with the broken events. Level up and enjoy your revenant while everyone else deals with the buggy new content. By the time you finish leveling most of the major bugs will have been addressed.

That may be so, i want to be there with them. I really don’t see the downside in this. What negative effect does it have?

What about adding an item, let’s say 1000 gold, that would let you unlock any 1 skin (non legendary), maybe another one that let’s you unlock any 1 armor set, just thinking out loud here. This would both pricecap skins to not go above this price(wich is a problem right now, some normal skins are more expensive then legendary weapons), and give an option for players that don’t like a certain type of content, to unlock a skin they wouldn’t be able to unlock otherwise, if they really wanted. While not undermining the achievements of players that do that content, and not undermining the content itself being the optimal way to get the reward, so still encouraging people to do it. Thoughts?

As much as I’d love to see revenant come out early so I can level it just won’t happen.

Multiple reasons.

1. It’s part of expansion, so we’d get with expansion.

2. Wouldn’t make sense to have a whole bunch of revenants out when the class doesn’t even exist yet. We need to wait for rylock in expansion.

3. If they release a class early every person who doesn’t play revenant will start complaining “can’t we start leveling masteries early” “early release on first map” “early release for stronghold”

We just have to wait.

1. Yet the pre-orders got the entire games 3 days early last time, what is one class…
2. This is already non-logical when going trough the story as a revenant, as well with the personal story as a charr, where he is still a warrior and you are a revenant.
3. All those things do not have anything to do with getting into the expansion, potential revenant players are the only ones being behind, especially the new players.
Other then that everyone starts at an equal point going into the expansion.

Given that they specifically said at the PAX South announcement of HoT that the Revenant would be there for new players to be on an equal footing with veterans in this one profession, no, they aren’t going to hand it out early.

You can work on the jungle with established alts while leveling your Revenant and your masteries will convey. Nothing says you can only play one alt for weeks.

Why can’t the new players level the Rev along with the vets? Is releasing it a month early going to stop that somehow? And if they don’t release it early and on expansion day, 5 minutes after char creation I’ve tome leveled it to 80, how is this putting the new players on an equal footing?

This is really what it’s about, no offense to people who tome-level, but i don’t want to be punished for not doing that. I’m guessing new players are getting punished by it aswell. They don’t have that instant 20 then tome to 80.

While that being true, i see no harm in releasing it a bit early for pre orders. They released the entire game early for the pre-orders at GW2 launch. 3 days early. So what harm would it do releasing a class a bit sooner.

And basicly new players from now on are most likely pre-orders. Since it includes the base game. If HoT content convinces you at this moment to start playing GW2 there is no reason not to preorder.

Btw if you don’t do this it still favors veterans, since they will have the tomes to boost their character to 80 anyway.

do a little PvP, get daily logins – 60-80 tomes of knowledge won’t be that hard to get.

Did you even read my post? I just said i don’t want to do that. I don’t want to insta lvl it, by crafting or any means. I want to play the personal story, play the living world season 2, and then go to the jungle. I do not want to be forced to rush to 80 and have a character with almost no waypoints in the normal world.

my bad, missed that. thought you just said you didn’t want to craft level.

short answer is no. they won’t release it early for so many reasons, and this is just the price you pay.

We don’t even know the release date, so this isn’t set in stone, we can always try to ask them, wich is why i made this topic. I’m sure the devs have played allot of mmo’s themselves, and every time a new class came out for other mmo’s with new content, and they weren’t max level at start, this was a negative experience. I’m just petitioning for GW2 not to have something like this.

I don’t see how making people choose between playing the new class or playing with their friends would be a good idea, and i hope the devs agree.

I love how so many people seem to mention GW1 in this topic, saying that game had the same thing, wich is kind of true, you could buy most things with gold in that game.
BUT do you remember the 55 hp monk, or other farm focussed builds that let you round up the entire area and then murder them all together? That wasn’t easy, but it was the most gold effective way. It actually rewarded hardcore people to devellop their own gold making ways. Be it specific farm methods, from 55 hp monk to green farming assasins, to droknar runs, or other runs being sold. Every skill on your bar was essential in most of those builds. And missing one just ment you died.
This due to gw1 being instanced, so you could solofarm.

GW2 farming is pressing 1 over and over.

Don’t compare these games, they aren’t the same game.

Hey,

I just wanted to make a topic because i currently have a big choice to make at the start of the expansion. One i actually really don’t want to make.

Revenant vs New Content
I remember from other mmo’s how bad it felt when i was leveling the new class and my guildies were experiencing new content and i wasn’t playing with them. When we are moving into the jungle, i want to move in with my guildies. However i also want to have a revenant and i want to level it properly. If these 2 things come out at the same time most people will probally craft it up if they want to play it and head him straight into the jungle. I would rather not do this tbh.
I want to ask if it’s possible, for everyone who pre-purchased, to just have the revenant, obviously without it’s elite spec, available just a few days or maybe a week prior to the start of HoT.

I would rather not have to choose between experiencing the new content and leveling the new class, since i’m really excited for the revenant and i’d love to level it right away, but i also don’t wanna miss the experience of heading into the jungle with my guildmates either.
Plz don’t make me craftlevel this proffesion, i wanna play trough the personal story, have tybalt sell me apples and stuff. And level it normally.

Weapons and Skills locked behind Elite Spec

in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

Posted by: Fox.3469

Fox.3469

1 Because this forces a choice and otherwise all classes would eventually have all weapons all the time.
2 Because it is way way easier to balance. If you add a weapon and utility catergory with each elite spec, and you constantly have to balance that weapon and utility line with all the previous specs, that would just add and add and add, wich is eventually a mess to balance. When they are bound to eachother, you basicly have to only considder adding to the base class.
So basicly when they do it like this you’ll get more elite specs, as they are easier to put out and balance.

I really don’t see how this is hard to understand.

. But the answer is not because I don’t like it but because I want to play a video game, not work at a job. Not all rewards should be available within everyone’s comfort zone.

Call me crazy, but taking goals and putting them outside of people’s comfort zones sounds -exactly- like working at a job.

Really? I guess you have an amazing job then. About let’s say 90% of jobs are basicly doing the same thing over and over. Even if there is variation to it. That is not taking you out of your comfort zone.

I do. What you seem to not understand is that there’s a marked difference between a game involving effort, and effort being the most important point behind a game. You seem to be arguing for the second, while for me this turns the game into work, instead of fun.

Why is fun and challenge opposite to eachother? Basicly anyone who play sports in a competition, or even recreational, challenge themselves to become better at it. And it’s not always easy. So why would people enjoy it in your logic?

I’ve been doing 1-2 sports at a time ever since i was a little kid, and i really enjoy going out and training, even when i’m totally exhausted sometimes, i just push myself and the feeling i have after every practice, knowing i gave it my all, is just awesome.

So yeah, effort to me is one of the most important things, since i love pushing myself. It’s was makes something fun for me.
You know what feels like a job to me? Doing things that don’t challenge me at all over and over. That’s what most jobs feel like to me. I’m lucky enough to have a job that does challenge me on a daily basis, but that doesn’t mean for one second i want a game that doesn’t challenge me

Challenge = Fun to me.

Of course you do want it. A content that anyone would be able to do, one that a majority would be able to do, or even one that a large number of people would be able to do will not be considered hard. For obvious reasons.
Half the players are of below average skills. By asking for a hard content (one that requires above average skills) you are asking for content that will be beyond the reach of at least half the game population. Some people – those whose primary concern is indeed to have something that will personally challenge them – may not be thinking about it, but i am certain that majority of people asking for hardcore content are not only perfectly aware of it, but that this exclusion itself is their main goal.

Oh yes, you better believe it it’s all about the exclusion and the perceived feeling of superiority. That’s what’s behind all this talk about loot, loot and more loot. And the correlations of rewards and effort.

Only poor fox (i think, can’t remember names) want’s difficulty for the fun and challenge cause he/she get’s off the “teacher” role (nothing wrong with that, keep doing it ).

I look for personal challenge, yes, and since i’m probally above average (not saying i’m awesome or anything) i guess Astral is meaning me. So do we want challenging content that excludes half the game population. I personally don’t want that. The only thing i want is some content where i can go in and actually fail, the more i fail, the more it’s a learning process for me, and i like that, i like hard things. Right now this is virtually impossible with any content in GW2. The only place i actually die these days is WvW.

Now let’s make one thing clear. There will be hardcore content in GW2 HoT. They announced it and they cannot go back on that. No matter how much you don’t like it.
So there should be no more discussion about this, the decision has been made, you cannot reverse that part.
But, if you want instances to become easier over time, due to people just getting more experience, while actually still doing the content, and farming it, you need exclusive rewards.

If you don’t add this, then yes, you will never get a majority of people in there. However, if you do add this, i really believe that it will allow more people acces to the instance, after a period of time. Once the people running it, let’s say on weekly basis, get experienced enough, it won’t matter that much who they bring allong. If at least half the group knows what to do, they will at least educate the other people, even if they are coming along for the first time. Some people will explain everything (i’m part of this category, wich is larger then you think), sometimes you’ll learn by just watching what others are doing and following their example. In any case, it will let more people do the actual content. Making it way less exclusive. This system basicly takes people’s need to feeling superior and uses it to make them help other people, often without them even realising it.

So now the question is, do you want to make the content more accesable by keeping the rewards exclusive, wich gives reason for players that cleared it to keep doing it.
Or do you want the content to remain exclusive because the rewards aren’t worth it and after the first few weeks noone runs it anymore. Making the achievement for completing the content even more frustrating then dungeon master, something allot of new above average players have difficulty with.

If i was a developper i’d want as many people as possible to be able to see it, while still keeping it challenging content, so i’d go with the exclusive rewards option.
When enough time passes they can even apply several small nerves to it, to make it even more accesable while releasing new content.

The only thing i want, is a holy crap feeling while some boss completely murders me, to investigate why he murdered me, and to try again. I love making progress and tbh the last time i felt like this was when the new tequatl launched. The first try i did we didn’t even get 5% off him but as we learned it we got him down to 50% and then even more and people just got excited because we made progress, to a point where the biggest teamspeak explosion ever errupted when he finally went down. I remember that moment, i remember every single thing that happened in that fight, and i’d like some more moments to remember. I didn’t get any good loot from our first kill, but boy could i care less about that. Funny enough the kill i got an ascended hoard from i remember nothing about but the fact i got the reward.
Now i can guarantee you, if teq offered just 1 chest like all other world bosses, and no exclusive rewards(ascended teq items have a unique skin), he wouldn’t be done anymore, let alone be at a lvl now where almost no organised group fails him. (i know he got nerfed but it’s still a hard boss) And that is the beauty of it. Most people doing teq right now are a core group of people, and then whoever is in the map. They basicly get to experience this awesome fight, because they are in the company of people who know what to do, and learn from them.

Group content is kind of the same, only with less people. Wich also means that people having real experience in it make a far bigger difference.

This all comes down to preference in what you want to do in the game. I find it highly hypocritical that people are having a problem now, while there have been skins locked away behind specific content for the entire duration of the game.

Because it’s the first time this has been brought up…
Yeah, right. Seriously, this is a topic that people has been arguing about since before the game launched.

Okay, so let’s agree that we’re equally selfish with the only differnce is that i want you to be able to get everything i can too, but you don’t want me to get what you can. Yeah, no meaningful difference here

This isn’t true at all. You don’t like doing hardcore content, i don’t like running around in circles in silverwaste/drytop. We both are locked out of rewards for content that we don’t like doing.

And we shouldn’t be. For each of us there should be a satisfactory way to get those rewards. If we’d go with my approach, we’d both get what we want the way we want. If we went with yours, only you would be able to get it through the content you like.
Yeah, it’s exactly the same [/sarcasm]

I don’t want the rewards for content i do not do. It’s me waying off the options and taking an informed descission, either i do some content i like less, because i want the reward, or i say it isn’t worth it. I don’t like running around in circles, wich means i also don’t like “optimal gold farm”. If all rewards would become available for gold that still would favor the farming zerg people over anyone else playing this game.

Now i’m not opposed to let’s say having the hardcore content work with tokens, and having 1-2 “warm up” bosses that drop 1 token each, while having the harder ones drop 5 to 10. That way it’s timegated if you really don’t want to do the rest of the content, while still not exactly being locked to you. And this is purely cause i don’t give a kitten about your rewards, while you seem to only be interested in mine.

Other then that you don’t deserve to have every reward in the game accesible to you, just because you buy the game. I don’t want that either. In fact i care more about the content, and that is the whole idea of why i want good rewards in the hardcore content. See unlike you i’m bound to having a group of people. I can’t just go to whatever zone trains are running around in and farm, i actually have to make a group and if the content isn’t rewarding, finding a group will be so much harder. And that directly impacts my gameplay, not the way i look, but the way the game plays for me.

The difference is, i don’t kitten about it.

This all comes down to preference in what you want to do in the game. I find it highly hypocritical that people are having a problem now, while there have been skins locked away behind specific content for the entire duration of the game.
But now that the hardcore pve community would get their own rewards, it’s a problem.

Dungeons offer unique rewards.
Silverwastes and drytop offer unique rewards.
Events during living story offer unique rewards, and most of the season 1 stuff is impossible to get if you are a new player.
Fractals offer unique rewards.
Certain achievements offer unique rewards.
Hell even achievement points offer unique rewards.
Teq and the wurm offer unique rewards.

Get over it.

Good thing you guys love challenge for challenge’s sake and are not what so ever interested in better and exclusive loot to show off in LA. For a moment there you had me confused :P

Where are all them noble warriors who kept telling me how it’s not about loot at all and I have it all confused in my mind I wonder.

Where are all those people who kept telling everyone how SSC failed cause it was boring and not because the rewards weren’t worth it, cause they just don’t care about the rewards…

I’d personally right now sign all my rewards away if that would guarantee a challenging fun end game experience. I honestly don’t care.

The reason i’m making a stand for unique rewards in these instances is because i know the masses in this game aren’t exactly around if you don’t add them. And if people aren’t around, the content becomes frustrating, not because of the difficulty but because noone is doing it. Hence new people wanting to try it have no chance.

I still run Arah path 4 at least 2 times a months, sometimes even with complete randoms. Most people are flipped out with joy when they complete it, because it’s one of the most frustrating things in the game right now, not because of the difficulty, but because noone is doing it.

I honestly don’t care that much about rewards, i’m not farming silverwastes/drytop because i don’t find it fun, but i’m not kittening that the amberite weapons should be available for gold, even tough i like some of those skins. It’s content i have no interest in hence they are skins i can’t get, that’s the nature of the game. Do you think the events in drytop/silverwastes would be this easy and fast if the rewards were bad? Noone would even run that train and you’d have a dead zone.

Same goes for challenging content, if you don’t reward people they won’t play it, that doesn’t mean there aren’t people trully enjoying the challenge, however this content will be group content, meaning you need other people.
One of the most rewarding things in mmo’s to me is teaching people how to do stuff. So if you have trouble with challenging content, you can always add me and if i have it completed i will always try and help others who actually want to do it, no matter their skill level. But keep your kitten hands of the rewards. If you take them, i won’t have a group to help you trough.

HoT Price Feedback + Base game included [merged]

What Anet has to show so far doesn’t live up to the price.

Let me explain what I mean…. What has Arenanet shown so far?

Masteries.

Elite specializations + Revenant.

Guild Halls.

PvP what we get in sPvP and WvW isnt really bigger then what other expansions do but it isnt smaller either.

Quality of life.

When I buy a game I dont buy it for stuff that should already be part of the game.

Masteries, Specializations, Guild Halls, QoL.
All these things I expect to be included in the game without charge.

I pay for playability and content. I dont pay for stuff that should have already been in the game.

Changes to traits etc are all part of balancing the game, you should not be paying for balance, you pay for content.

So far HoT looks more like a balance update and fixes than a real expansion.

Then don’t buy it until more info is released about it. Why kitten when you just have no idea? Just wait for the info, and then ask yourself if it’s worth it.

Also your trait point is invalid, they are adding an entire new trait line+weapon+skill set+proffesion mechanic for each proffesion+ adding an entire new one. That is not simply balancing. That is the biggest class update any expansion has ever brought to any mmo i know of. But seeing how you talk about the elite specs makes me think you haven’t even looked at them properly.

Btw you bought the original game fully aware that most of these things that “should have all ready been there” weren’t in the game. So no, you can’t come and say, this should be already in there. Because the original game clearly stated they wouldn’t have guild halls, and elite specs and masteries weren’t ever mentioned. So if you bought the original game expecting these, you didn’t make an informed decision based on the info, and that’s on you.

So maybe you should take a lesson from this and not buy HoT until you are certain you want to actually play it.

for christs sake… its this simple… HAVE YOUR HARD CONTENT no one is saying you shouldnt have challenging content, hell we enjoy hard content too, just dont lock the rewards so far out of reach that it becomes impossible for more then a handful of players to obtain it!

And the answer is even more simple: NO

Nah, in 2 months most of those skilled enough to run it will be farming it (it will be no more challenging for them), while most of those not skilled enough will stop even trying (and thus it won’t be relevant to them anymore). The number of people for whom the content will remain both relevant and challenging will by that time be really, really small.

And that is where you are wrong, and rewards do matter. As long as skilled players have a good reason to farm hardcore content, the entry-level will lower over time. This is group content after all. So people need groups. The people that have completed the content, or even just a certain encounter, automaticly become sort of teachers towards players who are in there the first time.

However when you don’t add rewards that reward your time and effort put in. You basicly get another Arah path 4. Wich is the hardest thing in the game for someone that hasn’t done it yet, not because it’s that hard, but because the people with experience have left, since that path doesn’t nearly reward you enough compared to the other Arah paths.

If you do not keep the veterans farming certain content, you automaticly doom that content to be far less accesable then when they do.

ZAM Berserker Exclusive Reveal

Odd that they tried to make other Elite specs do things that the base class was lacking in but not for Warrior. It can be condi based or raw damage. If the focus was on condis, then why call it berserker? If it’s amplifying raw damage, the warrior isn’t lacking in that area at all.

The name was a bad choice given the popularity of zerk gear. Oh well.

The spec looks cool though.

I would have called it “Savage” or “Barbarian” or “Demolisher” or “Blitzkrieger” or anything but berserker.

Honestly i think at this moment the warrior is one of the most complete classes.
They missed a choice when going conditions (you were basicly locked in Sword/sword longbow) at least now you can swap offhands.

I’m excited we get to use our burst skills more, may drive people off the greatsword.

It’s just a dangerous slippery slope, that doesn’t need to be walked. Silverwastes and drytop both have their unique reward skins, and to me those are rewards i will NEVER get because i honestly don’t like doing those trains. But i don’t see people crying about that. And they shouldn’t. But is shows that Arenanet is more then willing to put unique rewards into maps and doing events. Now in the beta, there was a currency called airship parts, we don’t have an idea what that will provide us but let’s say it unlocks a few unique skins for the verdant brink map. Like drytop and silverwastes.

I probally won’t be able to get those either, due to the fact i just don’t like doing that content (altough i have to wait and see, VB did seem allot more interesting then Silverwastes at least), but let’s say i don’t like it. Does that mean those skins should be unlockable by gold aswell? Because there are people who don’t like the content. I never see anyone having a problem with it and neither do i, i’ll just use another skin…

But then to hear those people come say that hardcore content needs non-exclusive rewards, just kind of kittenes me off. The skin system is fine, and if you don’t want to do a certain type of content, don’t do it. If you like the rewards for it, tough luck. I do like some of the silverwastes and drytop skins, especially some of the ambrite weapons, but i’m not gonna play content that i don’t find fun. I tought about it, concluded to myself it wasn’t worth it, and i got over it…

Do i mind people running around with these weapons while i don’t, hell no.
Seriously the only reason this argument would EVER be valuable is if skins were so limited that only hard content had really nice skins, but that isn’t the case, and hasn’t been the case for a long long time. I personally wear a mix of racial armor on most of my characters because i really love most of it. Despite having unlocked full Arah and Cof sets on all 3 armor types. I used them for a while, got bored and changed to something else cause i realised i liked them more.

There is enough choice…

People are fond of comparing this game to Guild Wars 1. There was very little in Guild Wars 1 that couldn’t be purchased with gold. Arguably, the hardest weapons to attain were the weapons from DOA, or maybe rare stuff like the celestial compass, the bonecage scythe, the frog scepter or the voltaic spear.

All these high end items were available to sell. You didn’t have to be great to get them. You could farm feathers in a low end zone over and over till you could afford to purchase them.

No one in Guild Wars 1 seemed that riled that their rewards weren’t exclusive. It allowed players who wanted challenge to do challenging content and profit. It allowed less intense players to have the rewards.

I think this is the best solution all the way around.

To those who support those hard core rewards, I guarantee you if there are enough rewards casual players can’t get, you won’t have enough players left to continue running the game. Casuals, in my opinion, make a vast percentage of the playerbase. The more you put out of their reach, the more of them you lose.

I agree with this sentiment completely.

The guy who gets the super rare drop can hold onto it or get rich by selling it. Either way he is greatly rewarded for participating in the content that produced the drop. Meanwhile the player who doesn’t care for content X can farm content Y to finance his purchase of the item. Its a win/win.

Except it’s not. The top 1% will find a way to farm the hardcore content, they always do. As more people learn it more people will farm it. And this will eventually make the best way to aquire the item, to farm gold instead of doing the content.

Just think about it. If you could sell dungeon armor on the trading post, not only would it totally discourage anyone but the farmers from doing any dungeons but the speedpaths, it would completely destroy the value of any crafted exotic armor pieces on the market.

“Win/win” Yeah right

well…..die hard fans with no complaints

this has nothing to do with that. You are comparing 2 things that cannot be compared, you are pulling promises of Arenanet out of your kitten , and you are saying things without info on them.

We can have a healthy discussion about this game, as seen in many other threads. However making things up and just being completely nuts in your comparing doesn’t help you one bit.

They said their not beta testing the maps, meaning they are actually planning to release it with loads of potential bugs. This is fine as long as they actively fix them following release. Since they decided this all they have to do is make it playable in the next few months and bam release it.

They aren’t testing them in open beta, that doesn’t mean these maps aren’t being beta tested.
