Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Make completing an event in each zone has a 0.1% chance to award you with a lvl 80 weapon that has an unique skin, these skins vary in each zone.
In some zones, you could also reward minis, back items, rings with unique stat combo, and so on.
Or make events award tokens (that can be deposited to a gethring tab), different in each zone, and tie a reward npc to them.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Or kitten off. This is GW2. WoW this way —→
Why do you want totally useless mounts when you have waypoints? Maps weren’t designed for mounts, you could skip a map in 1 min.
WE. DO. NOT. NEED. THEM.
Not a bit. And Arenanet stated they won’t make them. Because players didn’t want them. So please. Stop. Learn to accept things. Or to play WoW.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Crystal Desert =/= Elona.
But we will go there for sure.
Green, if you mean Mordremoth, is probably in the Maguuma. Other side of Tyria.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
We never met the sylvari race before.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Is that true that my CA gets deleted if i don’t buy time to it for 2 weeks?…
Deleting my 1600 gem item for going on a holiday? Seems legit. Just remove it from the hotjoin browser if it is not working instead of leaving 5357 broken servers in the browser waiting for complet delete…
This is not the ArenaNet I once knew. This way less people will buy your arenas, because they will think twice.
It gets me mad not to know about important details, we will have to figure these out I guess by our own 1600 gem costing experience… and still no answers.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
I think it’d be sufficient to reduce the DS3 to what it was.
The new Wall is cool – but i don’t understand why so many people are running through it repeatedly.
This. I guess it is just easier to cry for a nerf than to learn to play and pay attention to the field.
“YAY we can no longer crush necros so easily omg nerf pls can’t avoid bumping into a freaking wall compensate me for this”
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Yes, they just have to completely redesign them. Sounds like something that will happen for sure…
Srsly.. stop reasoning for non-sense brainfarts all the time guys. No offense.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Yes, but giving a race’s architecture and city to be the capital of another one?
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
30-40cd for 1 sec is kinda huge for me. But with burning + condi build necs can get nuked even faster than they used to be before.
Also, our signet of undeath got killed.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
So basically instead of removing the arena from the browser until you add time to it again, they leave your arena in, but everyone will have an error message if they want to enter (I can already see the chaos with tons of these dead servers), then delete your item you’ve purchased for 1600 gems because you were on a holiday?
Sounds promising. I understand that they want more money but this way they will actually have less, because people will think twice to buy it.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Didnt check’d Necro after patch. So how did things change ?)
Signet of Undeath got destroyed, you can no longer see players with that. +1 sec cast, now it is 3.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Every newbie wants to roll a necro because they’ve heard this got buffed. It’s not op, it’s just that for a few days every single newcomer plays this class, so probably the amount of fear you got was inflicted by more necs.
Or you were dumb enough to run into spectral wall multiple times in a row.
Is that even legitimately possible?
I’m 100% I got hit with the staff fear, and with all my cleanses on cooldown, the rest of wherever the fears came from took over until I died.
Fear is a condition that stacks duration, so it is possible to stunlock you with a chain of them. But a fear usually lasts for approx. 1 sec, and has a pretty huge CD. (usually 30-40 sec).

There are some details about being a playable race:
1. Racial capital (Djinns fail)
2. Racial territory, with villages, outposts (Djinns fail)
3. Citizens and economy (Djinns fail)
4. The armor sets must fit and has to have a beliveable dodge-animation (Djinns and centaurs fail)
5. Has to be a social race that often interacts with others and are capable of grouping up with others, from the race or with anyone (this is where Largos fails – skirmishers, avoiding any attention and contact)
6. Has to be unique (this is where kodans and dwarves fail, being similar to the norns and sharing the same territory – the dwarves by mentality and penchant for beer, also looking like mini-norns with their huge muscles and hairs, and the kodan, where’s even a theory about being from the same race as the norns, also, they’ve lost their homelands and are mostly refugees in high-level zones)To #1 and 2: The Hidden City of Ahdashim could easily be converted to the Djinn’s racial city. Their outlying territories can all be underground as well or the territory just outside the city (Mirror of Lyss).
To #3: Hidden City of Ahdashim has a TON of gold. They have a golden mountain and grind diamonds, rubies, and sapphires into their food. They are probably the wealthiest race in terms of how much stored gold and precious gem caches hidden around Elona.
I… I really want to be a Djinn now.
That City is Vabbian, used by the Princes as a shelter when Palawa invaded Elona for the first time.
So that’s a human city, where Djinns are slaves who were binded there by powerful humans to guard the treasure.
By economy i meant trading amongst their people and with other races. Not being slaves guarding gold in a human city…
Vabbi was the first one to be devoured by Joko, why could the Djinns take any territory there.. probably Vabbi is still inhabited by humans, because they surrendered, and weren’t wiped out.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Gems don’t work I think. They realized that if you exchange in-game currency for gem, someone actually paid real money for the gems and get your gold.
But if you get them gems in-game and sell them for in-game rewards, that won’t get them anywhere.
Still wondering why people can’t see this..
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Common enemy: DSD.
Or if Cantha would offer alliance to Kryta, and Kryta would send an-iterracial delegation to rather represent Tyria than just a nation, and we would have to see that Cantha needs that alliance more than we do.
There are endless ways how to write it in.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
With like 5% drop chance. Would be nice and maybe more ppl would show up both in tournaments and custom arenas.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Yeah I know and agree too :P
But thinking of it, we aren’t tied to the pact, and personally I would be grateful to escape them. I joined the Order of Whispers and not them.
As we get mails from the Living story npcs, maybe one day we will get a mail that calls us to cantha while the pact fights the dragons.
Ofc, Cantha will not be a living story thing, but we could have marched on the other dragons after Zhaitan, still we are killing sky pirates atm, which leaves a chance that we can go to Cantha without the Pact.

In the last State of the Game interview with the devs, Jon Sharp dropped that build and gear saving is coming, but only for PvP.
Sry dudes.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
I’d also like something like this, but the problem is, then ArenaNet would sell less kits, since one kit can be used by multiple person.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Is anyone using this signet now? 3 sec cast time is just too much for a higher-rating tournamnet I think.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
The thing is, all the EDs are on Tyria (except for the DSD). The land is just not enough for 3-4 expansions.
With Primordus, I think we will have the Tengu (because destroyers start to show up in both sides of their wall), with Primordus we will also get the Deldrimor Front I think, and probably an underground level, so that’s fine.
With Jormag, we can have the Far Shiverpeaks, and the Blood Legion homelands, but that’s relatively small with no new race or profession (I doubt that the kodan is a choice), so it is possible that we will hit on him together with Primordus, because both are in the Shiverpeaks, one underground one on the ground.
Mordremoth is the same, the Maguuma is pretty huge, if we unlock it along with the Janthir Bay and Isles of Janthir, it can make a whole expasion, but I think this will be packed with another dragon, maybe Primordus.
Kralkatorrik. I think the Crystal Desert will be packed with Elona, so after we defeat Kralky, we will storm Elona. Maybe as the Pact troops arrive at the Dragon’s nest, we will be shocked to see that Palawa already has a weapon against the Dragons, and managed to defeat one. So we may try to get his weapon. Idk, just brainstorming.
DSD, maybe he will try to invade the shores of Tyria, and we will get a message from Cantha, telling that they are willing to take on the DSD as an ally, because the case there is worse.
Dragons and continents can happen at any order, we aren’t tied to Dragons, GW1 had enough dangers without them, nothing prevents other events to happen that are more urguing.
(I wrote some dragons in multiple possible expansions, that’s because I think any of these could happen)

You are insane.. gz!
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
I don’t think that the Mantle would target the Canthan district over Salma or the Commons. Or the palace.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Welcome to PvP. 3 hours before patches noone can play PvP, dragon ball is no exception.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
That map was leaked 2-3 months ago, even some devs gave details about it, but when will they add it?
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
GW2 is never going to become a serious esport
Who says it has to?
Not every game that has competitive elements (ie. PvP gameplay) needs to become a “serious esport”, which by that I assume you mean professionally sponsored, livecast from a central location, etc.
There are plenty of other games for that. It’s not needed here.
Why? Because devs want to make it one, as they stated.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Don’t be naive, we won’t unlucky a new continent for free with monthly updates :P Later, after we purchased the expansion, maybe some zones will be added by time.

You can take it for sure that we will visit 2 well known continets sooner than a brand new one.

This is something easy, since it already exists on the bell: Misty Moutain, from the Hobbit
The horn has a different scale, could someone tune it for that?
Alright this is what I came up with just few minutes ago. this one is the vocal.
Misty Mountain:
(( = double higher octave
< > = Lower Octave
( ) = Higher octave<3 5 6> (1 2 3 2 1) <7 6 3 6 7-77> (1 2 1) < 6 >
3 3 5 6 6 ( 1 2 1 ) <7 5 6 > 3 6 7-77 ( 1 2 1 )< 7 6 7 > ((1 2) <7> (3 1 2 < 6 7 > 3 6 7 88 7 5 6.
instead of brackets and paranthesis I prefere <- and -> so here is the same version but with arrows instead.
Misty Mountain:
Start with low octave (<— )
<- = deeper/lower octave.
-> = Higher Octave.
->-> = 2 times higher octave.<— 3-5-6 —> 1-2 321<--7-6 3-6 7-7 —> 1-2-1<-- 6….
3 3 5 6 6 —> 1 2-1<-7 5 6…. 3 6 7-7 --> 1 2-1<-7 6 7 ->-> 1 2 <- 7 -> 3 1 2 <- 6- 7… 3 6 7 88 7 5 6.
Hope you can use this and read it :-)
Enjoy!

Ty, you are awesome my LOTR collection has 3 songs now
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
I still wonder what’s up with Razah and the Apostate.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Those statistics looks a lot like a post shortly after launch. Honestly, the distribution is as as I’d expect it. Humans a clear winner, with everything else roughly equal.
I think the only surprise in that graph is that there’s so many Kodan. :p
Norn you mean? And as far as i know they are the last ones.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Because this is GW2, we have waypoints and mounts are pointless.
You would use them for like 5 secs. Also, mounts wouldn’t make sense lore-wise, because we never had them. Now we would have 35835 kinds of mounts all of a sudden. Magic..
This is just an old MMO habit you will hopefully forget finally..
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
For many songs tapping the same key 2-3 times in a row is vital, but pretty difficult it the song is fast.
If we could spam the same key without delay, or delay would be reduced, it would be great

Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Too many players want to go back to Cantha. And I doubt that they want to go back to slaughter Canthans and destroy the things they loved in GW1. That already happened with Ascalon, if they do the same with Cantha, players will just riot and quit the game for sure, losing every faith in ArenaNet.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Really, the charr have no reason to make a treaty with Cantha.
And no reason to do anything with lands outside Tyria :P
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
RNG boxes for all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*for gems
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Charrs are aggressive, but Cantha is definitely out of their range.
Also, they made the treaty with the humans, not just Ebonhawke. True, this would mean Kryta and Ascalon, but I’m sure it’s not specificed only to them in the treaty.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
I love it how people make up a totally non-sense theory and keep saying it is totally that way (charr will invade Cantha)
Just use your brains.
-Guys, we need resoruces! – Imperator
-Okay, look, I got a weird idea. – Rytlock
-Go on.
-What about.. invading an Empire 10-20 times greater than ours, is more than 2 continents away, we’ve never been there and know absolutely nothig about them, only that is has an armada that could wipe out our non-existing one! Also, they are humans, and we made a treaty with them just few years ago. Why don’t we become the new antagonists so all other races can ally against us?!
-That is some awesome logic you got there. I like your spirit! Let’s get started! Ofc, this won’t consume 100x more resources than that we could get if we would win!
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Konig you made a double post :P
“About races, I’d say there’s only four races seen thus far in GW2 that have a possibility of becoming playable, however small:
Tengu, which I’d say is about 95% or more chance
Largos, which I’d give to be about 50% chance
Djinn, which I’d say is about 40% chance
Kodan, which I’d give to be about 20% chance”
Btw you give your %s a bit too optimistic.
Djinn -99999%.
Largos 0.1%.
Kodan 1%.
Tengu 99%.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Keep in note that Cantha being isolationist is mostly based on how many of the East Asian kingdoms became isolationist and xenophobic between the 1300s-1600s (more particularly, it’s loosely based on Japan’s Edo period). Should ANet decide to look into Cantha (probably like 3-4 years from now), the lore would probably involve Cantha being forced out of isolation in a similar sense how Commodore Matthew Perry forced Japan out of isolation because of the western powers’ superior military technology. It would also involve how the Canthan society will have to reform itself and deal with other races like the Charr, Norn, Asura, and Sylvari much like the Meiji Restoration.
If I were to say which race would force Cantha out of isolation, I would best say the Charr because of 1) their superior military technology, and 2) they could easily curbstomp Cantha since Cantha won’t have the same military technology level like what the Charr have, and 3) The Charr nomenclature of their characters is very good for making names and characters based of the key historical figures that were involved in East Asia during the Industrial Revolution. For example, “Perry” part on Commodore Matthew Perry could be “Purfire” in the Tyrian world alternative.
This is just a theory bleeding from many wounds. They don’t mimic the whole history..
Cantha had one xenophobic Emperor 200 years ago. Yes. That’s right. And had at least another one before.
Many Emperors have passed since then, and the main reason why we can’t go there is Zhaitan. Who is dead now.
Charrs attacking Cantha? Why? They are in an alliance with humans now. Attacking Cantha would restart the war for sure. And why would you attack an empire 10 times bigger than yours, being more than 2 continents away from you, while you haven’t got a connetion to the sea?
And why would Cantha be primitive now? As some guards in Vabbi stated in GW1, ‘Vabbi has the best siege equipment, even cannons, from Cantha’. Back then, Cantha was the most advenced at war technology.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
There’s only a possible 6th dragon, not a possible 7th.
Rather: There is a confirmed 6th Dragon and a possible 7th Dragon.
Yes, let’s wish for even more dragons! So we can kill dragons for countless years!
Personally, I hope they will all clash above a sea in the air, all die and we can get real lore once again.
I think even Arenanet admits secretly that dragons were a bad choice. That’s why we don’t have them in the living story.
Srsly, you can’t make a good or reasonable bossfight against them. Pressing 22222222222 from a cannon, the last hobo in Divinity’s Reach could do that, and kill a dragon wielding so much power to raise up a peninsula from the depths of the ocean.
Not so heroic. The story is only about the asura and charr weapons, not our powers and how hard we try.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
I think it would be awesome to relive some important events from GW1, but from another perspective.
In GW1’ Frost Gate mission, we went our own way and Rurik went his own with his bodyguards.
Now, we could be his disguised bodyguards, like we were disguised as falme legion charrs before. Occassionaly we could see an adventurer group helping us on from another path (our past, GW1 selves).
I think this would be awesome, and could bring back many good old memories.
It could also introduce Rurik’s last moments, last mission to the new players of GW2.
Ascalon is punished in every way, all the time in GW2, at least just once make us defend an Ascalonian :P
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
It was stated that they didn’t want to bring back the classic gvg system, because matches were too long, had no action, an people were too defensive.
I hope they will add GvG at some point, but probably with other objectives.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
As far as we know, female Tengu are actually larger than male ones. O_o
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
There’s only a possible 6th dragon, not a possible 7th.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
You can’t replay because this was not an instance. Just a very very small story step. There’s nothing to replay about it.
