Orion is correct, you will need to have done enough damage to the gate to get credit for the achievement.
I have to say it must be bugged, I’ve been on occassions where I have been the ram user and hit the gate plenty of times, at least lets say 3 times, that’s atleast 24k damage and I don’t get credit/wxp when the gate is downed (I believe those situations are when I was partyless too).
Whereas I’ve been in parties that just DPS the gate and manage to get credit. And we hit for only 60 or so damage or hit. I would suppose in total in the end the entire party would have done something like 2.5k damage if even close. 24k loses to 2.5k, simply doesn’t make sense.
You think if there was a damage threshold, a single ram hit would have breached it but it doesn’t.
edit:
I have a weird theory that the threshold scales based on party size or so. If you are on your own, even sometimes using the ram, you won’t get credit. At the same time, if you are in a full 5 man party that just DPS’s the gate, you’ll get credit because the threshold gets lowered to share amongst your party.
(figures aren’t accurate but it feels like)
1 man team = 10% total gate damage
5 man team = 1-2% total gate damage

I don’t know why Devon bothers to even post the generic “we have plans in the werks” response.
He knows what we want account bound wvw ranks. If it isn’t that, it’s still going to fall short. What’s that? Everytime you rank up you’ll now get wvw rank up book to help with alts! That still wouldn’t cut it.
The reason why I thought GW2 would be great was that it wouldn’t be like your generic MMO with tedious grind, but as the days go by, GW2 doesn’t differentiate itself that much anymore.
If new players were to ask me for advice on how to play the game I would tell them to pick one character and stick with it forever. Although they may ask “But what if I want to play-” “STICK TO ONE CHARACTER, it will save you the hassle in the long run.”
I find it terribly discouraging when I play some WvW, then after some time period I feel like “I haven’t play X in a long time, I’ll try it out.” enjoy the change, then be hit with the thought “What am I doing? I am rank 12 and I have no wvw bonus abilities and am contributing less to the team, I should stick to my other character that has rank 110+ who will benefit the team.”
It’s the same when you think of your team and they need certain profession to fill out some roles. You think, “I could use my mesme…what the hell am I thinking, I’m rank 2 by the time I finish, I could be rank 10, I could use those 8 ranks on my other character that is already working towards Guard Defense/Killer, screw the team!”
The thing about mobile siege is if you apply it to one, why wouldn’t you do it to others? what? you put wheels on the bottom of ballistas, why can’t you do the same to arrow carts?
Although I do agree ballistas are somewhat underused, it’s also reflected by their value on the TP, price is around 19c because no one wants them.
ANET should sell “Express Queue Card” in Gem Store, something work like year-ticket for sport fan.
The sad thing about this is that I honestly would not be surprised if it happened.
Gold
1. Viz
2. Piken (have become the b _ _ _ _ for viz)
3. SFR
As if Viz wasn’t already bad enough with all their spies and unsportmans tactics.
Maybe this is the “extended experience” Arenanet spoke of in the past.
Yup.
These days when the LS comes out, I’m more focused on simply “doing the checklist” (the achievements) and pay less attention to the actual content.
Tassi’s Relay Golem, I don’t necessarily need it per se but I would have liked to have had it on my main, but I just randomly did it on one of my other alts and only to find out that it is a one time thing.
I can’t redo the first part on a different character to gain the item. Now it’s stuck on one of my random alts :/
What happened to not making grindy games? They are so out of touch.
They threw out those ideas with the original manifesto.
I agree, did last years content, feel like there is nothing for me to do this year besides grind 50 door events and the story thingy.
I thought they had learned that we were disheartened by Dragon Bash 100k taffy for wings but…guess not.
Uninstalled and reinstalled new updated graphic drivers and it didn’t affect it at all :/
So this is what happened;
1. I was just playing normally decided to log into one of my characters and it was trying to load into Hoelbrak.
2. Game just stopped responding. Wasn’t loading. Tried closing client but nothing. So I want into Task Manager to try and close the end process tree and whatnot. The command was totally ignored.
3. Reopened GW2 to get a popup saying; “Last time Guild Wars 2 ran, it detected a problem in its game-data. We recommend that you let the game verify and repair its data. Would you like to do this?” (Repair or don’t).
4. Tried leaving it to repair, many times it got near the end and couldn’t carry on. At the same time, I could have ignored it and carried on as it would still load the game. Didn’t really feel right to ignore it.
5. Continuously open and closed client if the repairing failed. Until repairing actually completed. Did some restarts after repairing, open client and the popup dialog still came up about needing to repair even though I had previously fully repaired.
Should note, I’ve been able to run GW2 previously fine without any problems such as crashing or such.
6. Thought that this was strange so decided to uninstall, restart pc, install.
Then I get this messed up image: http://i.imgur.com/GZAXkzh.jpg
And this loader which a messed up bottom bar: http://i.imgur.com/MG5KSdi.png
So currently I’m letting it install like this but this feels very off. I am using the gw2 downloader from the website too. I’m not sure how that image could be corrupted when I uninstalled my previous GW2.
Still waiting for the day they speak on the same wavelength as the player and explain when wxp will come out or why they aren’t going to do it.
No one with a right mind would argue against having account bound wxp. But as always Arenanet will also always tip toe around the issue with some silly statement.
The day wxp is introduced my enjoyment for WvW experience will skyrocket through the roof as I am then able to use any of my alts to help my team. Until then, selfish needs come first. Still annoying to see how a lot of people have guard killer mastery and such and I’m still around rank 50 and less on various characters. If I played 1 character I would have had the masteries already.
GW2 alt unfriendly. Not what I expected from the start.
kill sparki first then mass up at the tree all oil will land there and the ooze can clean it away fast. very easy run because sparki dies fast and slick isnt strong enough to deal damage without oil stacks
If you all stack up at the tree, then wouldn’t the ooze just come ball up with everyone? and eventually wouldn’t the ooze die because I’ve actually seen the ooze die and it’s just a regular monster (or a silver vet in disguise), but slick should have more HP and outlive the ooze if you throw out everything and happen to injure both.
It’s not that it’s super hard or anything but I find it strange that the hardest part of the new dungeon path in TA is not the end boss but Slick and Sparki, They are somewhat mid part of the dungeon but they are the toughest part of the dungeon, the end boss is a cakewalk compared to them.
I find it odd how it’s not something that progressively gets harder where the end boss you would assume to be the hard part of the dungeon but the middle section.
The reason why Sparki and Slick are toughest in my opinion is because of their AoE blob stacking which doesn’t help when you try to use the ooze pheromones to lure the ooze but randomly your other party members end up catching your pheromones (not sure if intended or buggy).
Well I’m sure in time people will get used to it but I still find those two to be tougher than any other part of the dungeon.
(Now that I think abou it is similiar to Arah in some sense where you have lupi at the middle of the dungeon or 3/4 at least).
I’m not entirely sure how the ooze pheromone works but I saw my teammates randomly getting the buff even though I was the only one that actually went and touched the plant for it.
Is the ooze pheromone meant to spread to your teammates if you run into them? or is this a bug? because it made trying to kite the ooze troublesome when other teammates randomly had the buff.
After killing the clockheart nothing happens, we were just standing around waiting for nothing :/
I feel that the personal story should be included as region based instead of server based. Simply because of the amount of players that would be using it.
I understand that it’s quite limited as you would have to guest on the personal story users server to take part and there are only 2 guest passes a day.
But still, some server have really low population and then you counter in how many will bother to list personal story assistance in the LFG tool. On the other hand in my case I’d like to join other people’s personal stories but I’m limited to those only on my server and god knows how many people may bother listing help on it but if it covered all the other servers I would have more choice (and vice versa for those posting for help).
As it currently is, I feel that it’s very limiting and with the likeliness of barely anyone using it (assuming) it’s a waste of space.
(I know it’s only just came out but I’m speaking of what it will be like in the future).
I believe the overflow system works in a way where the home players get priority to join the main maps. Would I be right in guessing you guested onto another server? hence why you are just moving from one overflow to another.
2. Player Interaction
When players are frustrated, they start taking it out on others. The Teq 2.0 fight is bringing out the worst in players. People are shouting, insulting, abusing others, and even going so far as to avoid reviving people.
Reviving defeated players is a waste of time as if you look at the minimap there is usually 20+ dead.
The issue I find extremely annoying when manning a turret is that whenever tequatl moves, the target I am aiming at the spam #1’s and #2’s I keep having to reclick on tequatl constantly to be able to fire at him.
I’ve even tried calling target on him to help but still I lose target when ever he moves about and I keep having to spam the buttons T ( to recall target) and 1&2 to shoot.
I’m sure this is flawed in some way. This may possibly be hinder other turret users from having a constant stream of shots being shot.
I sort of noticed this too when i killed the toad king, I would see that the heart would pop up for a split second but didn’t bother to think any more of it.
I just use it as extra damage at the end boss.
I don’t even know how you have that many continue coins. I remember they used to drop from jumping puzzles but the few I’ve done I’ve never seen any pop out.
The only way I see you could get them is to mindlessly farm world 1 over and over and over until your eyes bleed then convert your baubles into coins.
Infantile mode completion: No end chests + achievement
Normal mode: Boss end chest (continue coin & 2 bauble bubble) + achievement
Tribulation mode: Boss end chest + special coin to make green colorued weapon (need to beat it on all 3 zones to get a special coin from each zone).
Bluebackpack is currently exclusive as it was only obtainable from the past SAB release.

As the title says? is it me or is it starting to strain on other peoples eyes.
You can tell how bright it is compared to the other materials which are extremely dark. Constantly repeating this area can’t be good for my eyes.
I just don’t find tribulation mode concept to be fun at all. It’s a maze with a single route that you need to follow.
May have sounded cool and interesting on paper, but in practice it was a flop for me.

Congrats on designing one of the most blatantly obvious (but still devious) money grabs I’ve ever seen implemented in an MMO cash shop.
Cranking the difficulty all the way up to “insane” for world 2 NORMAL mode, implementing an hard mode based on trial and error, reducing lives from 5 to 1, brutally reducing the amount of baubles with which you used to be able to buy continue coins, AND introducing the infinite continue coin which can only be purchased from the shop.
I’m assuming you already have the “real” world 2 normal mode ready to go live as soon as the bean counters think they’ve gotten enough money off all of this.
You’re brilliant, Josh. In a different way from what most of the people here are meaning it, but still brilliant
That’s not how things work here. I don’t tell the commerce team how to do their job and they don’t tell me how to do my job. …
I don’t see anything about why you reduced the amount of baubles.
SAB Skins. Weekend players need not apply?
in Super Adventure Box: Back to School

So if you can spare 15 minutes a day you’ll get the weapons you want in just under a week, since they’re 50 bubbles.
I’m sorry. What? Weapons? how many weaponss can I gain within 1 week if I only do W1 all zones as mentioned which totals up to 8 baubles a day from world 1 only.
8 baubles a day from world 1 × 7 days a week = 56 baubles a week. Weapon skins 50 baubles only makes 1 weapon skin a week.
SAB is here for a month so that’s around 4 weeks, so if you are only capable of only doing world 1 as world 2 difficult is …difficult at the moment and I doubt a casual weekend player would want to spend excruciating amounts of time trying out world 2 to eventually constantly dying and using up all coins they may have.
That would make 4 skins of your choice minimum for doing world 1 every day.
Now as the OP mentioned weekend players there are only 9 days that fall on Saturday and Sunday. That only gets them 32 baubles.
As sad as it is, it’s been previously mentioned but if you want the skins during months themed content you are better off just skipping the monthly content and just farming as much gold as you can.

I’ve been a completionist from the start of GW2 completing all the achievements from the monthly/special themed contents.
But this. This is where it finally hit me. This one here is simply not fun at all.
The whole part about losing lives and eventually running out of coins where you either have to farm more coins or buy the gem coin to continuing trying.
Tribulation is just insane. It’s not fun or interesting, it’s simply sadistic. Also tying that with how you essentially need to buy the infinite coin to even consider trying it out is simply crazy. It would be the equivalent of ‘I Wanna Be The Guy’ getting players to pay $1 to retry every time they died but it doesn’t that’s why people can keep trying over and over.
Also if you try to throw out some analogy regarding old platform games and their difficulty, all I’d have to say is.
“I don’t recall my console/gameboy locking out the game cartridge after a month has gone by.”
Because of how GW2 is, it forces the player to do the current content ASAP before the month is gone and so is the content.
I even tried doing some of tribulation World 1 zone 1 while watching a youtube guide, while halfway in I just thought to myself “This is just stupid.” and exited while I was about 3/4 of the way to the boss.
I’m also really confused where they said that SAB would be fun and challenging like the Halloween Clockwork jumping puzzle. I loved that jumping puzzle it was the best experience I ever had in GW2 since then and most likely till the end of GW2 days. SAB doesn’t even compare to it at all.
I also wish you wouldn’t try to compare content with the Halloween JP, it’s always hits way off the mark. The Halloween JP was most likely a one time thing and GW2 got it perfect but you’ll never be able to match it with other stuff.
I don’t even know how this months content will even be remotely enjoyable to the average casual gamer. It feels as if this months content was designed for the hardcore sadistic players (whatever tiny percent that is).
It’s like dragonbash all over again where it kind of locked out new players because most of the content during dragonbash required large amounts of gold to take part and enjoy.
Not sure if intended or not tested properly.

Near this checkpoint you can bonce to an upper platform, you can use a flower to bounce across.
You just keep bouncing forward into this tree. You can somewhat turn a bit but after a certain angle you simply lose all control as you can see in my picture, I am at an angle and I just keep looping. On a previous try I managed to bounce North West of the tree behind the frog but I just kept roll bouncing in a corner.
I’m not sure if this is meant to be some strange “trap” or simply something that you haven’t fully tested out.
SAB is giving me a headache….
Wondering does anything actually happen if you touch all the flags?
also some of the cannons for some reason don’t fire you far enough as if need swiftness for the extra boost to create further boosted distance.
SAB…I don’t even know anymore…
To those saying that the top server guilds won’t transfer over to lower tier servers for rewards.
They are half right and half wrong. It didn’t really occur to me what was happening until the guild leader recently spoke about it.
The reason some of the guilds from the top server will transfer isn’t because of the rewards but for the experience. The WvW experience. Since this announcement it has made the top tier servers very attracting for lower tier server players for the rewards.
This means there would be a large amount of players wanting to or going to transfer to the top servers, meaning queue times for WvW will rise exponentially. The guilds that just play for WvW won’t like this at all and it will ruin their experience to have hours of queuing.
Now my guild is going through a wait and see situation at the moment, it may possible end up being that the guild leader will decide to move the guild else where.
It was similiar when they made the server available to all through free transfers. That didn’t matter as much as back then WvW still had no real reward system, but now, it pays to be on the winning server…
Could we have baubles included into the wallet? if it ends up like last time, I’ll end up losing space by constantly stacking up my baubles :/
Old thread but just to throw in my response.
I wouldn’t fully believe in the words of those in customer support. A good portion of the time they simply throw out copy paste responses or something along the same context.
Bug = “Thank you for contacting us, we have informed our engineers and they are working on it.”
Unless a dev specifically states it on the forum as an official response it shouldn’t be believed in.
All achievements are not aimed at all players. Why? Not all players like doing the same things. This includes playing more — or less. You can still get the meta achievement without doing the 13/13 invasion maps one.
I think you’re confused on various points regarding my post.
Firstly, I don’t believe I mentioned anything about the meta achievement at all. So I don’t understand why you are bring this up. I am talking about a specific kind of achievement not talking about how I can’t complete the meta achievement (which I already have).
Secondly, the “all achievements aren’t aimed for everyone” is just a silly argument. Anet created hardcore and casual achievements, the hardcore ones were skill based like Liadri. This RNG achievement does not fit into that category. And this “Not all players like doing the same things” is for the same activity in the achievement; to simply participate in the map but because of how the achievement is based, it’s RNG, you have to wait for a specific map rotation to take place to progress in the achievement, we had 2 things to do in this themed content, Invasions and the story instance with scarlet, not really much of a choice.
The Meta is available without getting 13/13 invasion maps.
If you want 100% achievement completion then you need to commit the time necessary.
Don’t recall mentioning anything about the meta.
Just because I want to complete the achievement means I should be online 24/7? That’s just stupid. Past achievement activities weren’t time restricted in this RNG nonsense.
I hope you enjoy your future content update where a dungeon is only open for 10 minutes at a specific time of the day. Then you can “commit the time necessary” to take part.
(edited by Groonz.7825)
This has to have been a ploy from Arenanet to make the game feel more lively. People still need to get missing map participation? They hang around all day waiting for RNG to pop out map.
Arenanet profits, “Hey we’ve reached a new high concurrent user for this themed content, more people are playing!”. Statistics look nice showing high numbers of players still struggling to get specific map completions by constantly hanging around.
Otherwise I have no idea why they came up with such an achievement. They may as well included a dungeon that is only open at 6pm-7pm, if they couldn’t foresee that people would be having difficulty not being on 24/7.
It has a similiar feel to WvW to be honest, it doesn’t matter if you win or lose (after you get the scarlet kill achievement).
I still need fireheart rise, I took part, done a few minions and rest on aether. No progression. It’s the only one I need. I haven’t been credited for it twice now and it’s the only one I’m missing. Now I have to hope to get lucky that the RNG pops out the map again during the times that I play (or log into the check if the map is up).
I hate this achievement so much. Even the Liadri ones were less painful, I could do those whenever I wanted unlike the Invasions which happen at a specific time of the day for different maps.
I envy those who have already completed it.
I’ve played all the content and up to now, the map invasion achievements are by far the worst decisions made to be implemented for the achievement category.
I’m still stuck on 12/13 and waiting for a specific map.
Up till now all other achievements were doable in your OWN time. You weren’t pushed into playing at a specific time (exclude the hourly achievements like watch fireworks, they repeated every hour or so). But in these new achievements you’ve made it so people have to be playing at a specific time to gain their achievements.
In the future, please do not implement more of these kind of achievements. I prefer to be able to play in my own time and still be able to gain the achievements.
/inb4 future themed content dungeon only open from 6pm-7pm only
Also I somewhat feel that this decision was made to further push players into the “play 24/7” area. Because it looks better for statistics to show that people are always playing then having on and off peaks.
it’s so sad they have the power to do these changes.
You realize of course…. that they made this game… and they can pretty much do whatever they want to it.
I believe he probably meant it in another sense of that they do this instead of something else that could do with attention.
Nice idea but it still introduces an anti-social aspect into the game.
Already killed your champs for loot, you aren’t going to kill anymore. Some people are trying to kill their champs and ask for help, everyone else has already gotten their loot. People aren’t going to bother stopping to help and back to the old ‘ignore champ, no point killing it’.
The achievements for this living story stuff and possibly others really need to be thought better about and reworked in the future.
We’ve got things likes;
Invasion Canceler
Participate in 13 full invasions on 13 different maps.
I’ve been in some maps and feel that some never fully trigger, I’m not sure if you lose does it still count (like Dulfy says on her guide). I’ve been on both Frostgorge and Fireheart rise and taking part but I’ve still got 1/2 for the “Friend of Fire and Frost” achievement. I have no idea which one was accepted.
The same applies to Invasion Canceler, I’ve been on around 9-10 different invasions but my tracker has me listed at 7/13.
I sort of listed down the maps but now I’m starting to question which ones were actually registered since I’ve wrote down 9/10 map names but only 7 are tracked on the tracker.
The worst part is that the tracker doesn’t even tell you which ones you have taken part in. Same applies to the diver achievement, there is 38 diving spots but it doesn’t have a check list of which you’ve done. If you don’t do them all in one ago while going down a list, you’re going to end up forgetting a few and you’ll have to backtrack through the entire list.
It would be like playing pokemon and being told to collect all 151 (old school) pokemon but the catch is that it does not tell you which one you have already caught. Your on 149/150 “Do I need a another pidgeo?” oh let me just check my list “…” “There is no list…”
/rant
This is another Ember Champion (Anchorage) situation. This has to stop. I had to litteraly run like hell/waypoint like hell to get all events done in time. I even skipped a lot of loot. Meanwhile some hardcore farmers stayed on the same events and semi-afk (they even bragged about it), farmed the champs.
In my opinion, those people do not deserve the succes chest. If it wasn’t for me, kinda sacraficing a lot of loot in the process, (and a few other commanders, but most other commanders were troll farmers, like 6 of them), we would not have made it in time.
Again, the wrong people (the lazy, fail happy, greedy, unfriendly, the list goes on…), get the most rewards. Wrong Anet. You are rewarding the wrong people in my opinion. Provoking a fail to an event, should have consequenses, and now it doesn’t. Can you please do a similar fix, like you did on the Ember champ farming. Thanks.
I find that in this post that there is a lot of whining. Not even good arguments, just horrible whiny responses. The way the thread is labeled makes it sound like it is ember farm v2. In the scarlet invasions you don’t purposely fail it so it can respawn with more champs. The event itself is pretty static. There are 5 waves, you need to kill the specific foes that are listed on the UI.
It’s also simply not designed to be rewarding for completely it as it is. For every wave you complete 1st wave, 2nd wave, final wave, molten wave, aether wave. You only get 1 of each chest or so. So even if you only completed 3 waves in the end you only get 3 of each chest. That’s not really anything. 40+ mins for that?
Also you should realise that there are some other achievements related to trying to kill champs of certain monsters. That only spawn when you have a lot of people in that event. So some people may be trying to work towards those.
Not to mention this is only day 2 so it’s likely not a lot of people fully understand what to do. They see event, believe it must be completed.
There is also another thing to keep in mind, some people don’t even care about the ongoing themed content and just do their own thing. You can’t tell those people how to play either.
Why not just make it so that the champion mobs don’t drop champ loot bags?
Then we go back to the days of simply ignoring champs as they are simply not fun to take on and referred to as a time sink.
Sometimes I am just really confused how Arenanet comes up with ideas. They have good base concept of what to build on but the ideas that follow out of it just seem to out of touch with what they are doing.
It’s like create a super interesting monster to fight, followup idea from Arenanet is to have players physically shout at their monitors to beat said monster, makes sense? not really but sounds great on Anet paper!
Surprised they didn’t make WvW achievements character based.
It was obvious from the the WvW rank should have been account bound considering the speed of wvw leveling at the time. They even had the idiocy to say “Oh it’ll be fast, you’ll get a level every hour” or some stupid estimation. Maybe it would have been true if the ranks were all 2k xp to level up but once you each next few levels which require you to gain 5k WXP to rank up. I have no idea where their estimation came from when you look at the WXP gain.
No matter what changes occur that aren’t “WxP is not account based” it still limits my choice in what characters I can play. Oh what’s that? our WvW group desperately needs a mesmer? !!!!! Wait a second! I have a mesmer! What? No. I’m not going to change characters. Why would I want to play on my other character who is at WvW rank 2-3 while I can play my warrior that is 20+. I already have some wvw traits that are useful to the group and I can continue to grow that character. Why bother switching to my other characters and gain 1 or 2 levels when I could have gained it on my higher wvw ranked character who already has a few useful traits.
Because Arenanet had one of those stupid ideas where “Oh you’ve played our game for 7 years now and maxed your wvw rank (actually unrealistic and I would never reach max rank even after 7 years), congratulations you can NOW play on your OTHER character and relive the experience all over again. No need to thank us, we just added another 7 years of re-playability for you!”
Sorry for rant but these kind of thought processes and decisions always annoy me.
I’m wondering how these two trait lines will work together;
1. Rank 4 Supply Master: Have a chance to recover spent supply when spending supply.
&
2. Build Mastery/Repair Mastery: Spend X supply at a time when repairing
I haven’t gotten the points to get them yet but I thought they would work well together but then I thought about how the game mechanics work and wasn’t entirely sure how they would work with one another if the ‘recovering’ was based single ticks (e.g. every time you hit your hammer to repair or such, it will trigger a chance to regain supply used).
Then these various scenarios came up with what could possibly happen:
1. You have no Build Mastery/Repair Mastery, that means it takes you 5 hammer hits to use up 10 supply. This means you have 5 separate chances to regain supply from Supply Mastery.
2. You have Build Mastery/Repair Mastery, you use up 10 supply at a single time, so that means you only do 1 hammer action. Does this mean you ONLY get 1 chance to regain supply? also I forgot to mention in #1 when you regain supply, is it a locked 2 supply regain regardless of how much you spent? Since 2 supply is the lowest amount of supply you can use up when repairing/building so it will refund that amount. Or will it actually recognise that you used 10 supply and give you the chance to recover 10 supply (I bring this point up because I feel it may be something that may have been restricted by the game engine or such, where it can’t recognise such a change and was designed with a hard value).
2a. Also at the same time, there is sort of the question of which combination of traits are best as let’s say you have max ‘Build Mastery/Repair Mastery’ and Rank 4 ‘Supply Master’, if the supply recover only triggers based on the hammer hitting action, wouldn’t this mean it would be better to not put any points into ‘Build Mastery/Repair Mastery’ because it uses all your supply in a single usage which only gives you a single chance at recovering supply where as having no ‘Build Mastery/Repair Mastery’ you get 5 separate chances to recover supply which overall means you will have more supply to use.
I also doubt it was coded in a manner which it would do complicated things e.g. You use 10 supply in a single use, but the supply recovery has a random chance to regain supply for every 2 supply used within that 10 supply (as if it considered each 2 supply use as a single hammer action) so that meant it would be possibly to regain 2-10 supply within a single use because it counted that single hammer use 5 times as if it was used normally. This just seems unnecessarily complicated to code so I doubt that would be the case which brought me to raising this question about how the traits would work together.
I just feel that this might have been one of those QA things that may have been missed or not fully thought through.
This really needs a dev to respond, someone who designed the functions and know how they fully work in order to explain my predicaments.

If possible, I would suggest using a thief, simply because dagger #4 has a bouncing cripple which can stack, it is extremely helpful as you constantly cripple the dog and can outrun it.
As for guardian, immobilise are disabled in the gauntlet, so you don’t have many slowdowns, spirit hammer, hammer weapon #4 #5 but those are on long cooldown.
Even with condition removal and speed buffs, sometimes the dog will still outun you. Cripple is king for this match.
Also wondering, how many people have gotten the achievement. Must be like 2% of the playerbase or less.
