Just to make sure I understand this, now if my main character is rank 41 in wvw and i bring an alt, rank 1, I will not gain level up chests on that character?
I honestly think racial skills should be on par with others, if anything just give them (as most already do) an increased cooldown. They are fun skills but its a shame we cannot use them.
Fire aura should be like the frost aura counterpart, instead of reducing dmg by 10%, fire aura should increase damage by 10%. That would make it great i think.
I’ve actually also been wondering this from a PVE standpoint. I’m thinking, as stated before, throw staff 2,3,5 BIP, staff 4, DS 5 and 3, then switch to S/D 5/2 and 1 spam. Have 100% bleed duration but not sure if I should get the curses 33% condition duration on scepter conditions. Currently running 30/30/10. Just want to maximize the rotation for a single target dps.
Afterwards would probably switch to staff once cooldowns are up or if target is already at max 25 bleeds. Not sure how effective spectral wall would be on bosses.
I know it would take time to implement for sure, but i think its fair and balanced. Also for future fractals that are longer they could be added to this list.
Since these two are a bit on the longside and always frowned at, why not make completing this fractal count as the completion of two, making you need to run this and one other fractal for maw or completed state.
I think it would be a somewhat nice investment as you are basically getting two for the price of one.
So I haven’t seen any thread like this around, maybe we can get some help recreating armors in game. I currently am leveling up my guardian and want to try to make him look something like this:

I’m guessing draconic helm and shoulder and the rest can be just normal armor, do you guys know what armor looks most similar to the picture?

Very nice. I would add that well of suffering seems to tick for more than 5 times for me, so it actually ticks some 7 times, more vulnerability and damage. I will probably give this a try in the future
One issue, it’s my understanding sigils share a cooldown, so using the sigil of battle will place the sigil of earth on cooldown. So the question would be, for hybrid, which one is more important, the power / cond dmg from battle or bleed stacking with earth? I also am testing using Unyielding blast so as to have the pierce + vulnerability.
I only PVE though, very rare pvp.
Yes the sigil and the (I assume you meant Reaper’s Might trait) will stack, they are both on different cooldowns. Reapers might has no cooldown and with Blood is Power and some might duration runes, we can reach 25 stacks of might easily. I think personally that superior sigil of strength is inferior to blood since the mights offered can be gotten by other means but still need more info.
Could also theorycraft with a more hybrid setup, putting some toughness into power. Once again great guide.
I do the above rotation of attacks, ecept before going into deathshroud, switch to staff to drop all my marks and while on cooldown lifeblast x3 and pop out to MoB one more time before switching to scepter again. Have the battle sigil so switching gives me some 30+ seconds of might.

Outta curiosity what do you use for the legendary grawl shaman fight? Usually just BiP epidemic the boss everytime the lava elementals come.
Using your setup, how many stacks of bleed can you keep up on a mob by yourself on average or highest if lucky? I’m guessing it would be great damage if you are the only condition stacker in the group or if the other one stacks mostly burning etc.
Another tip that came to mind, have another set of weapons with sigil of corruption, get the 25 stacks and switch back to your main weapon set. This can net you 250 extra condition damage until you zone or are downed (something we should all aim for).
I personally try to balance and get some power via might stacking so as to not have only condition damage for when we fight structures, using life blast to gain both might and put vuln on the enemy. With the right runes, you can easily attain the 25 might stacks all by yourself which equals 875 power and condition damage.
If you have a might stacker in the group already (consistently), then may as well go with runes of undead.

So playing around in the mists, i noticed that by using this trait (X in the curses trait line) and spectral wall, the duration of protection is increased as if it were spectral armor. Since this also increases the wall duration. It got me thinking, what would be the maximum uptime you could get from boon stacking to maximize protection uptime?
By my testings i think i managed to get some 18 seconds of protection with 25% boon duration increase.
Underwater I usually use DS1 as my condition transfer. If allies have conditions, DS4, BiP, DS1 till stacks are gone.
Would you say Condition damage food > boon duration foods for hybrid might builds?
Was thinking of using it more along the lines as an atunement thing, where you cast it, go in, use your blasts and high damage, then back out and staff / scepter rotation until cooldown comes back.
Thats the problem though i still have no clue as to weapons or armor to use
So for stats you are going more? rampager? Sigils, Runes? I’m really so undecided on if i want scepter for blast / might or go staff for support? Maybe the staff will hit hardest from range in case melee is too dangerous.
Think arcane power is bugged so that it only makes you crit the first 2 attacks or so. Also i think glyph of storms is a must considering its an aoe perma bleed / blind for some 10 seconds.

So one of the things i love/hate about elementalist, there are many different builds that you can make. In such, i really can’t decide how i want to make mine. I mostly run dungeons and fractals, no WvW or sPVP.
I mostly want to be either making combo fields but want to deal sick damage, while minimizing damage. Main dps route would be to stack some bleeding and burning, add some vuln and go into water mode / lightning hammer to do some 30%-40% increased damage assuming health is over 90%.
As for weapons or gear, i really can’t decide if i should use a focus offhand for more survivability support, or staff since it can do everything. In gear i’m either thinking rampagers for the condition damage i can deal with burning or bleeds or just go with crit damage.

I mostly run the Precision/Toughness/Cond Damage. Use that with might stacking runes and you have a nice hybrid of cond and direct damage.
Another option would be to get ritual of life in blood magic, sacrifice a bit of power to get a nice heal on revives.
Wouldn’t activating the blind stop us from rezzing? How reliable is this?
How exactly did they fix/nerf it? Does it remove conditions from allies passively?
What about if we use say Charrzooka?

Something I haven’t understood fully, in regards to combo fields and the effects these give. I play an elementalist and love might stacking for my allies, does the might stack they get come from my total boon duration or does it come from their boon duration.
Say i have 100% boon duration and they only have 30%. Would they get any boon duration from combo’s?

Basically you get an additional 2% dmg done by your direct dmg attack for each condition on the target. So as an example if your target had 10 conditions on them (+20%) and you hit them for 100 with your scepter (not the bleed the direct hit), you would do 120pts.
Does this mean for each condition, say i have 10 bleeds on the target, would that count as 2% increase or 20% increase?
