I really hope this isn’t a bug
Why not just have ascended chests as drops for completing raids, or reward tracks and the like? There is no surefire way to get ascended other than crafting, this would be a good incentive for players, especially those with many alts, since gearing them all with ascended is costly and time consuming.
There is room for support, just no tanking or healing, for the most part.
In GW1 my favorite class was the necromancer
Too bad they removed it in GW2, I do hope they add the necromancer and another heavy class, so as to have 3 of each.

Any chance of getting world 1 and 2 to become permanent? I’m all for adding new content, but the timegating of previous, released and polished worlds is very sad to me and to all those that have bought and supported SAB with their purchases (infinity coin?).
World 1 and 2 playing alone would be more than enough to bring me back to the game. The idea behind gating it isn’t sound, not having SAB out will not make me do other content such as WvW or dungeons, it will just make me not log in and move on. Variety is one of the things that makes this game fun. When you take that away, and force us to play content, it just loses its novelty.
TL:DR, please make World 1 and 2 of SAB permanent, there is no reason to hide it away, if anything, lock it to new players until they reach lvl 50 or something.
Could be fun to have a sort of “maximum one class per dungeon” rule, so as to encourage more fun group compositions.
As long as there is some hope, people will continue to play the game. If they would sqash this hope, they would move on to another game, hence, no gem sales in their eyes. This is why I think they are hush hush on everything about the game. the cake is a lie

Probably switch a thief for a ranger and you are good. I think pve now is a bit more balanced for the 7 GW2 professions.
Solo’ed 3 arah p2 today for fun, gave the first 2 away, on the 8 people who joined only 2 said thanks, the other 6 left without saying a word. Third path, 3 guys joined and kicked me. You can ask my friends, no wonder people don’t want to help other player, most are a bunch of ungrateful kittens.

But you are forgetting about epidemic and how it does 20k DPS on a group of 6 mobs!
I guess the main problem I would see with traiting for quick draw would be the losing on the pet being capped at 25 might. So have to see if it would be justified.
With good enough crit rate, barrage + rapid fire could instantly cap pet to 25 might, switching to sword could mantain a good amount.

This will only happen if you are selling Arah. Easy solution: stop selling Arah. No one’s going to do anything to stop this from happening to you because selling dungeon paths was never supposed to be part of the game in the first place.

Whatever you did, you were probably asking for it for using the lfg, and exposing yourself. Especially if you were trying to sell, you make me sick.
Also it’s hard to design new dungeons and encounters, takes too long, coding is hard.
It’s hard and takes too much time. What you want is to play living story forever. Living story is fun.

AC story, we were lvl 32 in the instance, was positive you used to be lvl 30. Went too smooth.

There is no use to using spirits in pve anymore. Rather than fix water and frost spirit, they nerfed frost to reflect water. GG

The amount of trolling that will be caused by this change will be insane. No more LFM @ endboss or anything of the sorts. You can simply votekick anyone in the group, without fear of who is the opener, invite guildies, profit.
What about for aetherpath, a high chance of getting the aether weapons but account bound, while the end chest still has a chance of giving you a non account bound skin? This way dungeon runners get the weapon for themselves, while still mantaining the price value of those who don’t run this dungeon but want the weapon skin?
Again it all boils down to incentives. If aetherpath gave a better chance of dropping their skins, even if account bound, people would flock to that path. Flock I say.!
How about if when creating the party, you can choose if kick mechanic is implemented, or only party leader can initiate kicks? Would this help?
Seeing as the Living story instances have tons of un-skippable cutscenes, I am sure they have not learned their lessons. Seen most obvious in the shadow of the dragon.
Seeing as the changes will focus on survivability, I wouldn’t hold my breath. Maybe if they make well of darkness a shadow field that could help. Who am I kidding though >_<.
I’m all for rare skins, but again, needs to be a reward for running this dungeon over others. The dungeon still has a moderate skill floor, so people who mainly WvW or PvP will never set foot in this dungeon (or rarely).
A simple band-aid would be, be able to trade tokens for the skins, as well as have a chance of getting the skin drop, so as to be able to sell on the post, something more or less similar as to SAB. Win Win Win?
Today was a definite wake up call for the group of people I play with. Literally have been using the phrase “GW2 is dead and buried” since too much is being done on living story while neglecting the entire rest of the game.
This community has long been overlooked and actively ignored. Bringing back TA F/UP would be a step in the right direction, as a gesture of goodwill.
So there really is no point in getting ascended weapons for characters you don’t plan on doing high end dungeons with? My whole life… wasted…
Wait, scaling down affects your ascended weapon to exotic level? Does that make ascended useless for anything but arah and coe exp?
