Full zerker is durable enough, use focus offhand or hammer 1 spam. Shelter, virtues, retreat, elite. Hard to die when using all that.

I like it so much that Im going to try to do at-least 1 run every night. Till I get all the weapons. Till I figure out how to make my ele survive half that crap.
Things should melt pretty quickly with a proper team, last boss goes down fast with ice bow and FGS from what i recall.
DPS means damage per second. If you are going 10% faster per second (excluding aftercast) you are doing 10% more damage. With aftercast included, it translates as a 8.x% damage increase. Nothing else to see here.
I believe you can still interrupt the oakheart when he goes to do his invulnerable spam thing so that he loses the stacks or doesn’t gain the invuln, don’t recall which.
We finally found something Guang and Dub can agree on.

I tried to get the thumper turret to use its 3 blast finishers, any tips? Seems it doesn’t go off when I want it to and those 9 extra might stacks are super useful.
Everytime A-net “fixes” mesmers, they end up worse than before, this is the scary part and makes me question if I really want them to touch the mesmers any more.
To be fair, 3 warrior guardian mesmer groups still isn’t god’s gift to humanity. Engies are better stealth than mesmers, ele’s are better damage than warriors (though I believe they did get a buff with this patch in terms of damage), rangers with spotter and frost spirit are valuable. Only class that really doesn’t bring anything is necromancer sadly. Mesmers also have a problem with phantasms and utilities being overshadowed by guardian, needs work.
While we at it, bloodstone, emperyal fragment vendor or use?

You should get Bunker Down or the moddified ammunition, Both are big dps.. Can keep static discharge or speedy kits, they both useful.

Watch out for the red circles on the ground, that means there are spikes or other nasty things there. As for flame walls, watch out for them, run as soon as they go off.
So the Dualwield agility meta is dead? Long live Greatsword spam? Even for empower allies eviscerate spam?
Does this affect in any way ranger or mesmers? Since their weapon damage is reduced thanks to phantasms and pets? They still carry their own weapon coefficient but is just modified by the rarity of the weapon you have correct?

This thead really makes me wonder by engineer gets sold short so hard, they can might blast without interference from light fields, stack loads of vuln, and now deal extremely competitive DPS (around thief tier). Much better than anything a Phalanx warrior can put out, pug or not.
I guess it’s just cause no one wants to press all those buttons, I almost never see engies in any PvE format, period, and the ones I see are running something stupid.
We just all missed the amazing new trait that converted guangmath into actual game facts, namely ‘increasing engineers direct damage by 75%’.
To be fair, the Bunker Down trait is a nice dps increase for the engie along with riffle 3 and 5. The only problem with BD is that it is very impractical to use seeing as you have to be a precise length from the mob you are attacking which is not usefull if you need to stack/move constantly or even dodge for that matter. If they do fix it though, it’s a step forward for an underrepresented class.

I heard it scales with might stacks and vulnerability. I think what we need to compare is the damage from using sigil of force (full buffs) with sigil of air and see which comes out ahead.
My guess would be, for pugs, Air might not be bad

The best warrior build, for any realistic casual dungeon run, is 30/25/0/0/15.
And for tooltips, there’s just not one wrong. They all are.

On a separate note, the bug where the ghosts continue to spawn if you wipe is still there. Had to fight some 8 – 12 elites.
I noticed each dungeon is giving me 5 extra silver at the end reward.
AC 1 and 2, CoF1 and CM3 all gave 5 silver over the normal reward.
Way to balance dungeon rewards Anet!
It’s all good no worries, low level dungeons got a buff in trait adjustments so you hit harder there. It balances out except the higher level dungeons.
You probably want scholar. I would suggest strength but its sooo expensive, you’re better off with scholar

God this is so getting nerfed to the ground. Was similar to necro through defiant fear, except for the not doing anything for a few minutes. Would love to see a 5 mesmer powerblock lupi run though!
