Any follow up from ANET on this. 4 of the groups I have taken through this in the last two months wasn’t able to get the achievements and I had them all report it in game. I was hoping for some kind of response from ANET.

Doesn’t matter, people will forget, the minute the xpac comes out, everyone will flock to buy it cause, HYPE. If you don’t agree with their game, stop playing it, if enough people do, they will take action. Otherwise, why fix if not broken?
I do agree with most, Anet should really expand their workforce, this stagnant months of no content is proof that they are unable to retain old players. Also they could work with better communication, since they usually ask for feedback but rarely act on it.
I can already see the next expansion tittle, GW2: HC, Hyena’s Cackle.

Guys with legendaries like you and I could run at max difficulty, while casuals would run it at normal.

Yeah, i’m tired to play with<15k ap pugs. They don’t ping their banner when they enter as a third warrior in my lfg, and it means I don’t know if I can take dolyak signet of not. Most of them don’t dare pming me when I show them my epic juggernaut, though.

People should be able to play any build any use any type of gear. If players actually supported each other and played through the dungeon and understood if newer players died instead of kicking them or just leaving them behind as they run the dungeon the dungeons wouldn’t be such a frustrating experience for most newer and casual players.
Sounds like a content design issue, again, brought in part due to a lack of dungeon team. Hopefully with a rebalancing of condition, this may be lessened.

I wonder, if you activate forced collision (melee assist) can you whirlwind into a wall of allies and not go through them? (or enemies). Would FGS work if so? Funny how ideas come out of nowhere!
Just like the Mayweather fight, the only winner is Anet.
It’s not like the abilities bring anything crazy to the table, even if moderately buffed, most are lesser versions of other skills, and it doesn’t affect pvp, can ban it from WvW, so that there won’t be a problem, since pve content is “faceroll easy” and all.
I’d love a system that after X amount of time of no drops, say 3000 hours of no precursors, you get a free choice of one. Or an extreme magic find buff for each day you don’t get an awesome drop.
Worst case scenario, change your trinkets, which are easiest to replace, with the stats you want. At least now there is a slight slight, dim, tiny possibility they will fix condition damage… So cross them fingers.

I feel its hard to comment on some of the traits seeing as they are reworking conditions. So while the condition increase might be negligible, at the same time, maybe it won’t? (probably will). That and the fact that they are changing the coefficients for all of them.

Lol i’m not sure why I even try :P, what little hope is left that they actually use our feedback, which obviously is not a thing. I think we all delude ourselves or hype ourselves down just to not get as hurt in the end.
Anet is like a politician, oodles of promises and hope, but my god do they fail to deliver in any way whatsoever. I suspect the same thing to happen with the profession feedback.
If they remove the blind, maybe switch it for quickness or another buff that won’t make it OP for their stronghold? And fix the rest of its utilities accordingly, #2 could have the blind, #4 vuln on hit, stuff like so.

Alacrity will only be useful for those big damage low cooldown abilities, so things like whirlwind or HB’s, some blurred frenzy’s, rapid fire maybe? Doesn’t seem like too huge of a boost but it’s something, worst case, it’s a boon so more damage if you have boon damage traits.
I suspect it will keep the form, question is whether the cooldown starts as you cast or after you switch out.
Only time you are forced into zerker is maybe for triple trouble worms, since you basically have a 2 minute limit to kill them. Why they would do that is beyond me, but other than that play with likeminded people, and all will be great.
What if they are nerfing D/F, to make tempest sword new meta so more people buy the expansion? /conspiracy

All those are great suggestions, should be added into the trait “phantasms gain distortion on spawn and when player dodges”.
Also they mention a way to trait for giving alacrity to phantasms, does that mean alacrity + phantasmal haste = huge phantasm dps increase? If they could survive more often (aegis every 10 seconds?), I could see mesmers being very welcome for all parties.
At any rate, necromancer will still be bottom, but its specialization has hope! Maybe… Right?
I agree with Jerus, the whole alacrity and ability to be able to dual timewarp, seems very strong, sounds like if you don’t do chronomancer, you aren’t going to be helping your team out.
Could replace the whole retal on phantasms trait to aegis every X seconds (10?) That would be good, Especially now with the whole chronomancer thing, i can’t see a single reason to use mesmer in a party setting.
So if i’m reading that correctly, they will essentially be able to cast 2 timewarps by casting tides of time? With the lowered cooldown thing… 4 warrior 1 mesmer party meta is coming BACK!!!
Probably not though, seems really strong though, i don’t see why anyone would stay regular mesmer with those abilities though.
Could also see ilussionary leap and mirror images combo depending on how strong the mental torment and mind wrack buffs end up being. Then summoning the phantasms. All depends on how strong mental torment ends up being.

No amount of traits or skills in the specialization will fix necromancer, and if there are, then we will all be forced into this specialization. That’s bad design.
This is what really kills it for me. Next expansion, it will be the same ordeal, some living story stuff and then 6 months of nothing. It would be bearable if only we had some sort of Box with Adventure, that would be Super.
