Can anyone upload a picture of how the fixed zodiac armor clones look? Considering buying this set but not sure if I want it.
Bonus points if you are a charr.
Thank you sir, so would turrets now be more worthwhile to use in pve berserk meta for increasing dps?
Was also thinking maybe you can use the revealed to increase pistolwhip damage or stuff like dancing dagger. So a bit of testing around and it may be pretty useful. If not, well hey, 200 power on autoattacks is something if there are no hammers around.
But are they scaling properly? Read on the engineer forums that their kits are not. Looking for confirmations
I noticed if i took berserker gear off, the tooltip of the turrets attack reflected less attack. So do turrets scale off of power? Thinking of using rifle turret/bomb/grenades for my engie in full dps situations.
PVP only uses exotic level range weaponry from what i recall.
Weaken:
Mesmer empowering mantras moved to useless line (Domination)
Dang i missed that one, wonder how that will change things…
My bomb heal support build with full cleric gear keeps my party members alive!!!
Necro with Well of Corruption vs. Dredge.
or
Staff Ele with ice bow vs Dredge.
Is this a question?
It’s the answer.
Probably not, my god just let us go into the cube!
I think it would be more efficient to just ban none zerkers, seeing as all zerkers bring something to the table…
except necro’s, they don’t.
I didn’t mean take it away, but give aegis to other classes or add new game mechanics would be great.
While we at it, why not give aegis to other classes. maybe something like, whenever you enter deathshroud or use tainted shackles, give 2 seconds of aegis to those around you.
You can as long as you go MAX melee range. If you move an inch closer, he will hit you. Sort of like playing russian roulette.
I find it more fun to just go in there and hit the dude in max melee range.
You have 8 professions, can only bring one to a specific dungeon. Go! (can’t repeat professions).
AC – ele
CM – Thief
TA – Mesmer
SE – Guard
CoF – Ranger
HoTW – necro?
COE – Engi
Arah – Warrior
I think they should remove banners from warriors and turn them into traits or something else, spread the buffs to the other classes. That way having one of each class could offer a buff. At the very least discipline and strength should go to other classes that are not warriors.
Reporting doesn’t really do anything, it’s just a feel better button, there isn’t any justice.
Need more class balance honestly. Like way
Anet hates berserker gear yet makes the fights time based, meaning if you ain’t zerker, you ain’t killing it fast enough. Sort of a weird implementation if you asked me. I woulda made it so half pvt and half condition peeps could complete it in time.
Some people buy skins to support. Here we are buying / supporting balance and endgame!
The whole argument of thinning the player-base is ill conceived. Rather than players not doing WVW or PVE, they just don’t log in or do dailies and get out. Having some permanent content, even a tranquil, no rush, like SAB is good for the playerbase.
Heck, it’s more polished than the rest of the game, so we can play that while the rest of GW2 is fixed.
My worry is, since the new season 2 living story is coming, odds of us getting any meaningful permanent content or any improvements to this game in the next 2 years is slight to none.
Since Gem store is the only thing Anet (or NCsoft) cares for, figured its the only way to grab their attention.
So here’s an idea, what if A-Net can put a gemstore option sort of kickstarter thing where we pay gems to help finance them balancing the game or adding end-game content, such as hard mode dungeons or any of the other thousands of ideas thrown around.
Same can be done with new professions, races and weapons.
Thoughts?
Anet doesn’t care about the dungeon forum.
It gives the players false hope to cling to. Some argue that it can do more harm than good.
Engineer or staff ele. Works for WvW and PVE, everything else is probably not worth it
Probably a trait, something like how spotter is.
Death’s chill. Whenever you chill an enemy, you and allies gain 150 ferocity for 10 seconds. Trait probably.
Discuss!

Condition damage must be fixed in PVE before we even consider more stat combinations in the game.
They should continue to polish the game and balance the professions out in both PVP (AND PVE for gods sake). Fix the stats before going into season 2 of the living story.
Sadly, Colin Johanson does not think hard mode is a good idea: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jy7CcwnfUdU#t=16m19s
(He doesn’t want to fracture the community into people who do hard mode and people who don’t! Instead he wants to make some dungeons harder than others and fracture the community into the people who do those dungeons and the people who don’t! Maybe enough exclamation points will make this make sense!)
Isn’t this exactly what fractals do? There’s different level tiers that fracture more a community rather than hard mode or not. Fractals are 5 levels of difficulty, so that logic is lost on me.
It’s scary how accurate your description is.
This was mentioned on a reddit thread as well, this video highlights some very good points i think.
All good ideas but it’s never going to happen.
GW2: The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe.
Filled with more features that should have been in the original game.
If they do change it to say only 3 teams, then probably lots of blackgate transfers would go to the other less populated servers that are also on the same team and thus anet wins $$$ so as to increase coverage. Still think its applying a bandaid to the problem but we will have to see how it plays out.
So what has happened…
Nothing, the game is at a complete standstill. Lions Arch is gone, that is about it.
Anet keeps saying play how you want, well i want to play SAB. But they don’t want that now do they.
I didn’t like SAB, partly because it’s not my thing, but partly because I couldn’t find anyone to do dungeons with or anything else with because they were all doing SAB >.>
Same thing occurs with any other living story thing…
My guess is all the popular sigils and runes were either nerfed or kept the same and they buffed everything else. Otherwise force would be even more used than it is already
Not bringing SAB would be yet another stupid decision in a long line of stupid decisions. It shouldn’t even be a month only thing, it should always be open…
Why aren’t the tournament tickets part of just normal playing, say daily reward chests or capturing towers / keeps / stuff.
Guys, farming aetherblades is more important than this WVW thing you speak of.
Does anyone have the numbers for Thief or Warrior with the 30/30/0/10/0 fast hands pure axe build?
30/30/0/10/0 does not have fast hands…
Dual wield agility* My bad.
Think we going to need to test it out in game to see how it will all fit in the grand scheme of things, rotation wise.
Warriors should give up empower allies and, either discipline or strength banner, to necromancer and engineer. Then that may help with class balancing!
Conditions will still not work in pve because of the stacking limit and that they do not get any % damage bonuses from traits or vulnerability sort of buffs and they cannot crit. Maybe if they added a condition crit stat, that could do something.
So reading up on the next patch and how the changes would affect optimal teams, was wondering which professions are getting hit hardest by it.
From what I have read so far, fully buffed with banners / food / spotter / bloodlust
elementalist is losing something like 29% damage,
Guardian 11%
Warrior around 14% – 17%What about other classes like ranger, mesmer, thief and engi? How will the damage per profession look like next patch?
Why is Ele losing so much? I thought that more damage modifiers meant less dps decrease. Thinking in staff ele here by the way.
It’s in a group setting. Solo it would probably be similar to other classes assuming they don’t mess with arcane lightning numbers. Fully buffed though, that is when you start to see the damage loss when you add bloodlust + banner + food.
Please anyone correct me or feel free to add to.
A simple fix that may help necromancers be part of the group would be to remove the icd from the vampiric signet. That way it can be used both as a mini burst / mini heal. I really don’t think this signet would be overpowered in pvp if they removed the icd, or hell just made it .5 seconds.
