She appears in the Vigil path (the tanks) in the last part of the personal story, though she’s buggy and doesn’t use the proper model until The Steel Tide.
She’s not an adult, so she’s smaller. She’s not as small as the actual asura children though (also she should really have proportions closer to theirs, but I guess the adult asura model is easier to animate or something.).
All summons should be permanent until killed, like minions are.
Anet’s not going to do it, because people are giant babies about fighting AI, but they should.
They’d have to go no further than provide the backstories behind all the featured NPC’s in the story
iirc, the NPC who shows you the recap movie actually has dialogue options to tell you this very thing that pop up after you watch it.
Most superior sigils are already vendor price, so there’s not really a long way to crash in the first place.
The only parts of Season 1 left to salvage are basically the buttrobot and maybe the retaking of Lion’s Arch/fighting Scarlet, both of which could become fractals. Everything else has either already been reintroduced to the game (molten/aetherblade/tower of nightmare fractals) or is better off never spoken of again (the story instances).
Can we do something about mastery points?

Anet killed PvP levels and unique armor because PvE players cried and complained.
The “unique” skins weren’t intentional PVP rewards, they were just skins that fell through the cracks and were never properly implemented in PVE. Then Anet implemented the wardrobe and they fell through the cracks yet again before some of them eventually got thrown in a reward track. The only armor specifically intended as a PVP reward was the Glorious Armor.

totally ignored things like useless spirit weapons, useless ele conjures, useless engi turrets+gyros etc :P
They didn’t ignore turrets, they gutted them because people were giant babies about engineers using turrets on points. Same with ranger spirits as well, basically.
It would require a LOT of developer resources devoted to something that already only a small amount of players want..
Wait, when did we start talking about raids?
(also, just because you don’t want a new race doesn’t mean that other people don’t, it’s been one of the more common requests on the forums over the years).
Passive sustain needs to be toned down, this is kitten like having primal burst skills count as T3 adrenaline skills for trivial upkeep on T3 adrenal health and trivial cleansing of 3 condis every 3 seconds.
I don’t think you know what “passive” means, since both those things rely on you actively using a skill to activate them. That is literally the opposite of being passive.

In all of Gw1 I can’t think of a single extended coat that assassins used.
That’s because their armor’s “thing” was form-fitting leather suits covered in dozens of spikes.
More useful, sure, but I hated the growth progression for pets in gw1.
Yeah, one of the best things about GW2 is that you don’t have to level your pets manually any more.
Saw this “Farm” today", at first I was like woah that looks like some industrial scale botting, then I realized it wasn’t, and quite frankly that was even more disturbing. I walked away feeling disgusted that something like that exists in the game, it seriously cheapens the game experience for me. Each to their own and all that but personally I think it’s a pitiful way to play.
Same feeling I got with the AB multiloot, SW chest farms, or even oldschool champ trains. Gather massive amounts of people and exploit the system to get ‘free’ loot. Seems there’ll always be a way to get easy effort free loot.

Can we have open world leg armor plis? LUL
This but unironically.
You already took away sword kitten it.
That’s a funny way to say “made the skills actually work, like the other five professions that use a sword”.
They’ve been releasing a new legendary weapon with each major patch, another legendary longbow will come eventually.
Legendary armor should be exactly like legendary weapons: accessible to everyone with the time or the gold to make/buy them. It makes no logical sense otherwise.
(Also it’s a complete waste of all that effort they put into developing transforming armor if they only use it once and then abandon it forever, since I doubt they’re going to start implementing it into future armor for normal people).
and why arent ppl complainin about the caustic nightmare skins bein locked behind 100 cm or gold fractal weapons?
For starters, those are reskins of other weapons. Also I don’t think anyone actually likes them, since you don’t see them often.

My personal opinion is that challenging content should be rewarded with more impressive loot than less challenging content.
The people who begged Anet for challenging content claimed that it was the challenge itself they wanted, so therefore the challenge is the better reward.
(those people were lying, of course, as seen by their reactions in topics like this. They don’t care about the challenge, they just want something they can lord over the “unwashed masses”)
What concerns me the most is the fact that they don’t listen at all. Yes there has been a little period where Anet would ask the majority of wvw players oppinion, listening to the wrong side and ask the ppt players what they’d like to see, instead of the fighting side of things…
What makes the PPT players’ opinions less valid than those of the FITE FITE FITE players, exactly? Both are supposed to be important parts of the mode.
- Desert BL – all we wanted were more open maps to make the massive fights easier. We got the opposite.
That’s not what “we” wanted, that’s what you wanted. There were plenty of people who wanted (or thought they wanted) what the DBL offers, that’s why Anet made it.
- Linking – we asked for server balance and got linking. We’ve given it a try and it just doesn’t work. No one’s fault but a revision needs to be forth coming (not a year and waiting)
The playerbase is too selfish and/or too hung up on “server pride” to balance itself, so linking is the best Anet can do without forcibly moving people.
They really should merge the smaller servers and break the backs of the biggest ones, but the outrage would be immeasurable (especially from a certain server that’s stacked to the heavens, constantly whining for Anet to open them for transfers, and whose name starts with “b” and ends with “lackgate”).
The map was not designed for gliding. You can easily enter Firekeep, Earthkeep, Airkeep, and NET with even basic gliding.
Both no-fly zones and NPCs that specifically target gliding players are already things that exist.
“We want new WvW content”

Players that want to play a pet-less Ranger are going to be very happy with this one.
No word on if it’s petless. Might wind up being an aspect sort of thing to overcome the fact that Rangers melt in melee. If it does wind up being petless, it will be interesting to see how they attempt to modify the rest of the Ranger trait lines without ruining the class (don’t have much faith in them accomplishing that, though).
Regarding the leaks yesterday..
Spoiler alertActually, it was said in the massive leak thread that the new ranger will be petless, pets will be turned into stances or auras if you will. Based on what type of pet, you get a matching aura.
What a disaster. Guess I’ll have to wait two more years for an elite spec that builds on the things I like about the class instead of ignoring them or ruining them.
Mounts would likely be confined to the expansion maps if the rumors are true. I can’t see them adding them to other areas as that could cause more issues than gliding.
They might even be confined to specific individual maps, given that there seem to be five of them and five new maps. Plus the associated mastery tracks.
I think the end result will be closer to the junundu wurms from Nightfall than the traditional MMO mount.
Can you remind me again, what that problem is?
Don’t feign ignorance. The farm did absolutely nothing to address the price of t6 leather and you know it. Hell, the announcement about the farm did more to the prices than the actual farm did! (even if only temporarily).
Didnt they introduce a direct way to farm leather?
Didnt they introduce a way to farm all tiers of leather in level 80 maps?If players still prefer to buy their leather on the tp instead of farming it themselves, its their decision.
The fact that the leather price isnt falling tells me that the mayority of the player base is willing to pay those prices.
Or, you know, that the “leather farm” is a hilarious failure that did absolutely nothing to address the problem it was introduced to fix.
Which is what actually happened.
It’s mediocre in PVE at best.
Condition revenant is garbage, in particular: torment is terrible in PVE and the lack of a ranged condition weapon to swap to really hurts.
Players are entitled to Legendary weapons, so Mystic Coins should be free to cheap. Like healthcare in America, Anet should subsidize Mystic Coin prices.
This but unironically.
Christ, Aeolus, did AOE kill your family or something?
Also, whoever mentioned it, the stability change was entirely WvW/PVP-directed.
Asc armor was prestigious lul. Every last bit of prestige died on pvp se 5.
Ascended armor hasn’t been prestigious in years, man.
What the heck is with ArenaNet’s armor design team? It’s like they have no conception of simplicity or elegance. Please bring back the Guild Wars 1 armor design team!
You say that, and yet half the sets you linked are neither “simple” nor “elegant”. GW2’s armor design is pretty much exactly what GW1’s was, and every design trend people complain about in GW2 came directly from GW1.
Yes because me not being around 1 meta means I don’t know about bunker. Yep that make sense. Anet kitten the game up when it powercreeped and buffed every classes damage, but they did nothing for people who like to play defensively besides giving them classes with a abnormal amount of blocks, evades, invuln frames, etc.
They added just as much defensive power creep as offensive, maybe even more. They ended up having to remove all those defensive amulets for a reason.
Mystic Coins are used for other things than legendaries, including a lot of mystic forge weapons that used to be low-end. Everyone conveniently forgets that part for some reason.
Its the same thing with elite specs tbh they were sold as this goal ppl would have while playing the expac no the free run around vd reword bs that it has become because ppl cried about it on forums.
No, they were sold as content you did HoT with, that’s why people were rightfully angry at the ridiculous cost. Anet deliberately hid that part from us until a few days before release.
I could support that. I really don’t like that they tie weapons to the elite trait lines.
The weapons and skills are literally tied to the trait lines for balance purposes, so you can’t cross-pollinate between elite specs.
Or, another way to think of the problem is regarding mob design in PVE. Mobs hit slow and hard, which leads to dodge being overemphasized and passive defense being underemphasized in PvE combat. They should generally be made to hit faster for less damage.
That is literally the entire point, you’re not supposed to rely on passive defenses to facetank everything. You’re supposed to dodge or use active defenses.
just remove the cleaves from autos and give another role for retaliation, make people learn 2 play instead learn to spam faster than targets.
Did an autoattack kill your parents or something? This is a really dumb hill to die on, but you seem bound and determined to do it.
You get a black lion key, as well.
Are these stat combos too strong for competitive play? Or are they balanced?
The removed stat combinations are balanced just fine for any situation that isn’t “stand in this one spot forever and don’t let anyone take it from you”.
man if gw1 pvp mode were added here that would be the best thing for this game
I can’t +1 this enough. Seriously i mean why go complex circle dancing when i can just murder the whole other team and claim victory over their bodies. Now that’s pvp.
something something courtyard exists and everyone hates it something something

Just create a raid section in the mastery menu and put all current and future raid masteries in it. That takes care of the problem completely and prevents it from ever being an issue again.
(also some better rewards from the XP thing would be nice, maybe a box with a choice of a spirit shard or one of a few other minor items).
Who said hero points need to be challenging?
Anet, because beep boop they’re worth 10 points now
…the fact that they’re only worth 10 points to devalue the ones from the core game that players already had is completely coincidental, of course.
It carried over from last year.
The axe does it too.
I don’t know how anyone can claim hardened leather prices are okay when they’re, what, 20-30 times the price of gossamer (despite gossamer also coming entirely from salvage and loot bags).
Just put the Gift of Heroes as a choice from the end of the mistforged weapon track.

They’re actually not nearly as necessary for masteries as they used to be with LS3 providing new mastery points with every episode, for what it’s worth.
Shorter OP: Fox only no items final destination
I don’t want to just nerf pets, I want their stats to scale with the rangers. That way, for the pet to deal high damage the ranger has to spec for high damage. As it is though, since pets do make up such a large portion of rangers DPS, it doesn’t make a lot of sense for the ranger/druid to spec bunkery as hell and still have pets dealing top damage. Just kiting you until you don’t dodge an attack from their pet and take massive damage.
Its just weird to me, I don’t understand why that can happen.
Being able to have different stats from your pet is the entire point of pets having their own separate stats.
Honestly, people just can’t wrap their minds around “ranger pets are an actual threat I have to take into account”. Got too used to being able to completely ignore them, I imagine.

The mastery points for adventures should be awarded for bronze and silver (leaving gold to the people who actually enjoy the adventure). Collection items should just require you to get bronze (I thought they did this, but getting bronze in scrap rifle didn’t count towards the Hivemaster collection so maybe it was just for the elite spec weapon collections?).
The solution to the raid thing is easy: excise the raid masteries from the rest of the HoT mastery tracks and put them in their own little section. It keeps people who don’t raid from being penalized for it, and gives Anet a place to put masteries for future raids.
Also they really do need to give some alternatives to that spirit shard, maybe a chest with a couple additional options (nothing too valuable, like the sort of options you get from the ley-line converter maybe). I’ve got 6600 spirit shards, i don’t need more.
Is it time to nerf difficulty of metas?

I think the only non-boss/champ/legendary enemy with breakbars that are a chore to fight are the Jade Constructs, and only because it is a mandatory phase because they become invulnerable.
Bristlebacks (why do they even have breakbars).
Also Mordrem Desolaters, because nothing about them makes any godkitten sense (why doesn’t breaking the bar make them vulnerable, instead of “wreck your face then arbitrarily become vulnerable”?).
