I’m not the biggest fan of greatswords, but this is one skin i really want to see become available

I demand a giant golden Evon Gashblade to adorn the center plaza of Scarlet’s Arch
Scarlet Briar Hologram: “This is a test of my new weapon. Please don’t give up or die too easily.”
Scarlet Briar Hologram: “Your end is near. Are you afraid?”
Scarlet Briar Hologram: “You don’t have much dignity, do you? It’s okay. Your humiliation will end soon.”
Scarlet Briar Hologram: “You’re losing! Whether you know it or not!”
Move everything (including home instince gifts) to fort trinity plz.
There are amazing engineers and there are horrible engineers. amazing engineers are nearly invincible, but that can be said for an amazing player of most professions. The effort/skill/reward curve for engineer is a lot less friendly then other professions. Good luck, if you want to do all those things you want using a warrior as comparison, you are probably going to end up less then thrilled.
To the right we have the Mini Dredge Mining suit, which was the largest mini i could come up with.
Chocs r worth it.
PS: Meh char is the tallest Asura i could make.
Was halfway thro jade maw fight (t11) during the apocolypse dc
Personally i jump off at times, knowing full well that i’ll die. It allows me to remains some illusion of dignity upon my demise.
Snaff himself never fought as a spellcaster or engineer himself. He was always inside a battle-golem. Methinks that this is an interesting turn of events, and significantly contributes to Taimi as a character.
I’m gona call it now,
one of the major-est heros of the Battle for Lion’s Arch is gona be Canach.
We need a Sylvari for the new Destiny’s Edge… and a new name as well!
Theory: Sylvari are Mordremoth minions. Unlike normal dragon minions, the dragon in question is indisposed as such it cannot impose itself on it’s minions. Scarlet searches for Mordremoth. The ideals of dream and nightmare guard it’s people from any dragon influence.
This is a disappointing update UNTIL you consider that a entirely new, permanent map was added in this update. By comparison, this update is exceptionally well polished as opposed to Lost Shores.
I have the WWMP, the extra sprockets really arn’t that big a deal. Its nice to have, especially if you didn’t snag the gift of sprockets, but otherwise its a vary minor deal. I’m not saying that the OP’s argument is unfounded in the slightest bit.
MikeyGrey, the Gift of Sprockets Sprocket Generator node is a mining node. This means, technically, its possible to mine sprockets with any pickaxe, including MAMP.
When a player enters a edge of the mists matchup, he or she will be locked to that machup. At the end of the EotM 4 hour match, the player gets WXP based on they’re contribution during the four hour period (even if the player already left EotM)
Gold? Not a good idea. I prefer WXP. Still, this is up to the devs… gimme a end bonus!
Geez i hope that others won’t mind if i use my MF gear in WvW…
Fort Mariner gets annihilated.
Kiel and Noll
… :P
It is a convenience. The per-salvage copper cost is the same as equivalent kits. I hand it between my characters, and it sees a lot of use. It is hands down the best way to keep an inventory empty during loot intensive activities like WvW. And it was briefly on sale during GW2 black friday promotions.
But once we save her from her madness, we could put to good use an ally with a genius such as hers.
We still need a sylvari on the new Destiny’s Edge team.
We already have one. He is languishing in Fort Mariner Jail.
I personally have the Watchwork Pick, bought it because of the additional ‘value’ of sprocket creation, and wouldn’t mind if they removed that functionality from the Pick. However, i do see great potential in these types of harvesting implement for becoming a source of event crafting resources. This would, however, have to be implemented in a way that also accessible somehow to those that do not buy gems. I believed that Karmic Tools would be an ideal way of extending this.
I am fully aware of the problems you mentioned, Terrahero, and i believe that this idea, specifically with the event resource pool being available with karma as an alternative to gems, is a genrally agreeable compromise.
Wanze, i believe Azurite Orbs will possibly happen. But i do not expect the drop rate to be noticeable in any small sample.
In a way, the events introduce new resources, then provide them with value as these resources become less plentiful. I do not intend whatsoever to significantly decrease the value of these resources, merely add an additional permanent means of obtaining them. I am aware that this is likely impossible. If you have a better idea, post it.
The recent release of the Watchwork Pickax started a power creep in Black Lion harvesting equipment. I want to create an idea to adress this topic before it becomes an issue.
My suggestion: Create a pool with resources that, aside from select events (both living world and map events) & Home Instance gifts, are effectively impossible to obtain. When harvesting from a resource node with a black lion tool, you have a small chance to obtain a item from this list. While i do not expect this to be the final number, imagine that the tool had a 20% chance of generating an additional resource (like the current Watchwork Pickax), this item would be drawn from a table, with less valuable resources like quartz and watchwork sprockets being an exreamily likely drop, but with more valuable resources like Azurite orbs being a comparatively rare but still possible drop. The odds of a specific item from the resource pool being looted would be based on the BLTC value of that resource, updated monthly. For balance purposes, BLTC harvest implements would also gain the additional efficiency of karmic harvesting tools (you should know the ones i’m talking about), and these tools would in turn gain the BLTC’s chance at obtaining an item from the rare drop pool, though at a significant loss of per-tool uses, or a significant increase to per-tool karmic cost.
Gain Resource Pool access

I tried to put the dragon together in one image
:
I think this could be Primordus.
Looks really fiery like a mixture of a dragon and a pheonix.
Mordremoth!
Public instance content should accommodate the general playerbase. My only problem with the marionette is the forced reliance on a colossal PUG (composing of a vary large number of people), to complete the event, and the fact that it is the gatekeeper to the gift of sprockets (for example, if the meta awarded a title instaid, i would have no problem)
That aside, i think that the marionette is a vary tasteful boss, and look forward to seeing a scaled down version with mechanics intact in the fractals or guild challenge.

I’ve already left GW2 for reasons loosely based on the uselessness of engineers. Grass is much greener over at Rift atm, but who knows what might happen in the future.
Complains about engineers, left the game before getting good at one
This is an empty statement.
People who are bad can do quite well on other professions. I’m not a good Thief, i still do pretty kitten good when i play mine in WvW. Its called a crutch.
Having a profession require a much greater deal of experience aswell as mastery in order to rival a profession that can be played with noticeable less is unbalanced. And that is an issue.
I see no reason why i should go through so much trouble for the engineer (which remains my favorite class) when ANet obviously isn’t. The engineer can be good and some things, but it almost always can be beaten by at least one class in every possible task. I do not PvP and i do not appreciate being discriminated against in WvW and dungeons. When the engineer is considered more equal to the other professions (including Warrior) in pve/wvw, i will start playing GW2 again.
I’m sorry if i offended you. The offer stands.
The buff/condition stack nerf is that mother of all nerfs (Elixer R being the father) that will ruin the engineer class. Personal opinion.
There are many crippling issues with engineers
Legionaries arn’t one of them
And i am fully prepared to retract this statement and every slimier one i have made about engineers thus far if you can find one ANet post that is about engineer balance, rather then crippling bugs or hobo-sacks. It shouldn’t be that hard, ANet has posted more on engineer then all other class forums (but my information is somewhat outdated.)
Lyssa has always been one of the less useful runes. For almost any task, there is always a better rune.
My apologies to the Lyssa fanatics i might have just offended.
hullo elete end gaming. nice to see you again.
(I originally supported the idea of obtaining BiS items in methods of crafting, such as with ascended. However, after playing Rift for quite a while (and keep in mind, i never raid at max level), i disagree. I won’t bother going into exactly why, if you can’t guess, you won’t understand.)
Nobody will ever use Elixer X while it is stepped in RNG. Two of those elites are situational, two are useless, one is highly situational, and only two are actually good, and even then its with two slightly different builds needed to get maximum performance.
Granted, i used the engineer elete slot solely as a AoE stun (Supply crate) so who am i to judge? You’re trying to make lemonade, over on the 6 other areas where good builds are made, and that one other area that is just… meh.
Wrong forum – Suggestions forum is more relevant
And i disagree. ANet should fix the engineer’s class before they even begin thinking of adding new skills or weapons
A step in the right direction.
My response?
Nerfhammer incoming

This post makes me sad. Of all class forums, ANet has posted the most on engineer, and yet none of them have been on any subject other then hobo-sacks and legendaries.
No offense. This specific thread is valid, but you’re sorta beating a dead horse.
I was forced to choose my guild or my engineer. Patch a few months ago screwed my engie’s build irreparably so i probably made the wrong choice.
Think of it this way, classes have their own little niches where they excel in, guardians support, necros conditions, etc. Engineers ANet dosn’t know what they want to do with = they have no niche = they currently arn’t meant to excel in anything. If they do, banhammer comes down. End of story.
I chose my engineer over my (WvW) guild. It was a mistake, but i don’t regret it. Now i don’t play GW2 except for festivals.
Engineers are far and away the weakest profession in just about every way. Don’t bother with the ‘no profession is weaker then another’ crap, engineer is a jack of all trades master of none, and it’s mechanics require more skill to get what you can out of it. It can do many roles, but to play it on a generally acceptable level requires well more experience, skill, and insight than it would to play another class, and even then a pro engineer is almost always trumped by a pro of another class doing the same role.
Around January i made the ultimatum that if i couldn’t WvW on my engineer, i wouldn’t WvW. My guild really didn’t like that. Now i’m guildless and i haven’t touched WvW in months.
Same issue. already confirmed to be sole fault of GW2. Might fix it. Lazyness and all time low goodwill towards GW2
I have only two lv80 exotic/ascended geared characters (support elementalist, dps engineer (build destroyed by update 2 month ago, not touched since)), and i am of the opinion that, given how this ‘achievement’ of beating Liadri is so trivialized by the current state of zerker equipment and warriors, it is not worth buying new gear or building a new character to obtain. It is a not-so-shiny trinket, nothing more.
(this is my opinion, nothing more. i fully respect arguments that disagree with it.)
Evon will win. Isaiah Cartwright has blamed all skill balance dissent on Kiel. And now we will never know the complete story.
If Abaddon is irrelevant than Thaumanova is a bug on the flower I just stepped on while slaying plunderers in a candidate trial supporting Gnashblade.
It’s quite brilliant what Anet has done here.
Evon+Abaddon=GW vets and the bigger historical picture
Kiel+Thaumanova=New players and the smaller more immediate picture
Ultimately I’d like to see the Fall of Abaddon as a full scale raid-dungeon but if a fractal is all I get I guess it will have to do.
You have a odd definition of ‘new players’. Personally, i wish to see a more complete story then figurative swiss cheese. Also, been there, done that, got the (awesome) scythe. Next!
#TeamKiel
I would like to express my extreme disappointment concerning the development of a arts district as compared to certain alternatives.
video game logic
Ancient history. Compared to Thaumanova, a largely unexplained event that rivals the rise of Kralkattorik for significance in recent history. What? Why? How?
We all know the story of Abbadon, and most importantly, we all know the full extent of it’s results and significance. Also, chaos magic could potentially be used to create temporal magitech for use in living story.
Isaiah Cartwright is a Evon supporter.
Enough said.
#TeamKiel
My magic find armor, expensive as it has been, has already returned it’s investment several times over. Out with the old, in with the new!
I can safely forecast political corruption, self interest, and continued mystery surrounding the Thaumanova.
