Update your ticket and explain you need to change the email associated with your account. The first response only sends out some information that may or may not be useful to players.
Neither. You will be prompted to change the character name at the character selection screen.
There is no cost involved when the game instructs you to change your character name. You just will not be able to play the character until the name is changed.
You should remove the screenshot, as displaying your Account name in public can be dangerous. That’s half the information needed to compromise your account.
Well, ‘inappropriate behavior’ is not the same as ‘inappropriate name’. Perhaps, in your passionately-played match(es), you let slip some inappropriate language or something else along that line. If you want/need further clarification as to why you were suspended (you were not banned), you could contact Customer Support and ask.
Did you report said bot? Did you post in the Bot thread, where sightings of bots go?
I had to re-load OS on my desktop. (Prior to re-install GW2 was working just fine.) My fault ordered wrong Win7 (32-bit instead of 64-bit). Reloaded GW2 and it is basically unplayable. Hit “M” for world map is a guaranteed freeze/crash- essentially any waypoint/ map crossing will cause a fatal crash. Staying on a single map seems a bit more stable – could be minutes or hour+ before a fatal crash. My laptop – 64bit Win7 has none of these issues. I have deleted GW2 and re-installed again to the same effect
This would be an issue addressed in Tech Support. There are many threads, with Dev answers about the 32-bit issue. They have some work-arounds. Something to do with memory, if I remember correctly. You can find the threads over in the Tech Support sub-forum. Good luck.
My little ranger.
If you can log into the forums, then your password is saved in your browser, most likely. You can use your browser’s tools to look up saved passwords. Good luck.
Have you submitted a ticket to Tech Support? Because that is where you will find help with your problem. Good luck.
You don’t. Only CS is able to change your Display Name, and they only do it if it is found inappropriate or there is a personal security issue (such as using your real name).
You can, however, have your Account Name (email associated with game account) changed by contacting Customer Support.
I am not sure why you aren’t receiving mail, but when you complete a zone, you do get a letter just as you’ve shown in your screenshot. There is no ‘gift’ attached to the letter, though; your reward comes in the form of a ‘dancing’ chest in the lower right-hand corner of your screen.
Unless you deleted them, there should be letters pertaining to all the recent Living Story/World releases, as well. You may need to contact Customer Support: Top of page – Support. Good luck.
Lol…Lately I’ve been using ‘skip to the end’ and being surprised!
I need some help, I am trying to complain about a person harassing me in game, but I don’t see a way to make a report, how can I do this?
You can report someone in-game by right-clicking on their name and selecting report. Select report from any in-game mail. Right-click on their name in chat, and select report. Contact Support (Top of page – Support) and submit a ticket to discuss the issue. Any of these can be used to report harassment.
dang forum lag…lol
Absolutely not. No ‘buying’ guild halls with gems. Nothing basic for guild halls with gems.
As for ‘monetization’, it would be acceptable to obtain upgrades and/or ‘decorations’ with gold, which for those that wish to, can be purchased with gems. If nothing else, as you, yourself, stated, the gold-to-gem conversion would skyrocket out of everyone’s reach but the most wealthy in-game, should guild halls or their amenities be only obtainable with gems.
You say nothing has been introduced into the game without gems being associated with it. Might I remind you of the wallet? The ability to preview items? The LFG tool? There have been many additions to the game that haven’t needed to be purchased with gems….or even gold.
No on ‘buying’ guild halls.
This happens to players occasionally. There are several posts about it in Tech Support and/or Game Bugs. You will likely find more help over there. Good luck. =)
You can check out the release page, or the patch notes…or, better yet, hop in game and see what’s up now! Good luck. =)
Then, if you are sure they do not drop ever, you should edit the page. The wiki is only as up-to-date as the community’s knowledge. =)
The Explorer Achievement(s) and World Map Completion are two separate and different achievements.
Explorer Achievement(s) award APs (and are account-wide) for the 5 different land mass areas (Kryta, Shiverpeaks, Orr, Maguuma, Ascalon) and World Map Completion (and is character-wide) awards the title Been There, Done That, a star, and 2 Gifts of Exploration needed to create a Legendary weapon.
The two areas you found may not be those needed to move your count up from 173 to 175. The best way to find missing areas is to use a map, (from, for instance, the wiki) and compare the listed areas, one by one, side by side.
I think the above poster was thinking you were in the Labyrinth, instead of Lunatic Inquisition. The chests you have received from the Inquisition only contain karma and gold, if I remember correctly.
In answer to your question, no, Masterwork is not in high demand, but some Exotics are, and Rares can be worth decent amount.

Hmm…I don’t have all ascended gear on my characters. In fact, I have very little. I was unaware that made me a second-class citizen. It takes little time to attain level cap, I’m not sure how being ‘casual’ prevents one from doing so. I can’t find the areas I am not allowed to enter, either. Dang it!

There is a new map set up for GvG-type play releasing very soon, I understand. =)
Got a link?

This is the best I could find with a quick search: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/community/events/Devon-confirms-the-GvG-JP-arena/first#post2984342
It’s not a hack. It is an in-game bug. You can read about it in the Game Bugs sub-forum.
Okay, if you have that rule in your guild, then only those that follow that rule are guild members. I’m not sure what the issue is. Are you concerned that other guilds don’t have this rule? Or, people join your guild and then don’t represent all the time? Surely, you can give few perks to those that are new, if you so desire.
I understand many, many people would appreciate more Guild tools. I am hopeful those will come with time. In the meantime, I suppose it is up to the Guild leaders to provide adequate Guild activities, other than those in-game, to entertain their members and enact Guild bank restrictions.

This is what I found about stacking, I don’t know if it answers your question adequately:
’Effects stack in one of two ways: in intensity or in duration. For example, multiple stacks of bleeding, which stacks in intensity, increases the damage dealt over time, and multiple stacks of regeneration, which stacks in duration, increase the duration that the healing over time lasts. All effects can have a maximum of 25 stacks, whether intensity- or duration-stacked, with exceptions noted below.
The game tracks each application of any effect separately in terms of duration and intensity. Those standard values get improved by the applying character’s attributes (Condition Damage and Condition Duration for conditions, Boon Duration for boons).
Removing a condition or boon will remove all stacks at once.’
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Effect_stacking
As poison stacks over time, then you would see the two stacks longer, than if just one stack of poison was applied. If I understand it correctly….

I love my guild. =) I believe we will get Guild Halls, and associated content in the future. I suppose you could make a rule that your members must represent at all times. Personally, I won’t join those kinds of guilds, but that’s just me.
Yes, you did mention you were from Devona’s Rest. Tyria is the name of the game world.
Toxic content….the current Living World release.
Yes, it was fun. Finished it the first day or so. I go back, now and then, to solo the mobs. I have to say I was a bit disappointed the Mad King dungeon didn’t return. I am enjoying the Toxic content more, nowadays. Welcome to Tyria, if you are new. =)
You are most welcome, Spike. =)
An actual picture would be nicer on the forums. =)
I have heard these characters show up when using the Large font selection.
The obelisk will give each of your characters a one-time skill point. After which, your character may use it to create Charged Quartz Crystals from Quartz Crystals.
Working as intended.
Ask and ye shall receive.
Jon Peters: ‘By the way I am currently in process of making some replies and discussion in the specific sub-forums where we are currently thinking about things so feel free to jump over there and join in. Also about to update the original post.’
Ack! According to the definitions provided in your link, I am a hardcore gamer. Perish the thought!
PvE, predominantly, though I do play other content, as well.
9/10….I like Guild Wars 2! =)
A quality-of-life improvement I would find desirable would be a way to easily change the back items on our character, with no loss involved, as well as storage for Meta Achievement items.
Yes, it does act like culling has reared it head, once again. Very slow to load buildings, terrain, mobs….
Wow, that’s very interesting…and cool. =)
You don’t need a Twitter account to look at the link.
Still, here you go:

Working on February content now. If we pull this off, it’s going to be bonkers.
You will level faster in a zone equal or greater than your character level, than in a lower-level zone.
This would be very useful.

Works fine for me…and the song is there, right on top. And 101 Halloween poems. Lol.
With so much more gold in-game, and in players’ pockets, they can afford to buy things at higher prices…thus, sellers are able to list for a higher price. I don’t think ArenaNet has anything to do with the player-controlled prices of items.
I bought one kit, got one dye….which I am saving to sell at a later time, when such dyes are unavailable from the gem store. Took a chance on a possible investment, and it paid off….for me.
Soulbound Gem Item to Wrong Character

I am afraid not. I think that is why they warn you before binding it to a character. Try to be very careful with future purchases.
You point out the 2 ‘grindy’ achievements in the Meta, and there is no mention of the other 12-20 achievements. I feel there is a variety of tasks to complete…something for most everyone. I am sure you could try soloing or using a very small group to kill the Krait Witches…they seem somewhat challenging.
Digital Heroic Edition Item Restoration

Are you saying you deleted the character holding those items? Thus, deleting the items, as well?
The only way to get help with this, if possible, would be to contact Customer Support. Top of page – support.
I have noticed this, as well. Same with the mini-map and world map. Also, your character in the Hero panel.
