Didn’t the players ‘vote’ on the subject up for discussion…that being Living Story/World? I am thinking ‘most of the players’ found that more compelling than class balance. At least, on the forums.
I cant get my map completion. I hover over the maps and it shows them all complete so does WvW but it says I have 1 point of interest missing can u plz help me im trying make my legendary and I need to get it done
Often, the missing PoI is the Chantry of Secrets. For some reason, many players must visit it twice. There have also been some new PoIs added to the cities, and zones. You can also use the wiki maps to compare each and every PoI in the game, though that is somewhat time-consuming. Good luck. =)
Hi, I posted a /bug for a friend (including all his details) who had the above problem in game (he also sent in a /bug report) this weekend. We haven’t heard anything yet, his gold hasn’t appeared but the items are still showing in his recently sold page. He is missing about 60g. He had tested it again today and sold more stuff, but still no money was delivered.
Please help as this is a game-breaker for him and I feel a bit scummy about carring on playing without him

First, there are never any responses from sending reports in using the in-game bug report function. For a support response, he would need to submit a ticket through Support, Top of page – Support.
Second, having a full mailbox (I know it sounds odd) can cause money earned from the TP to sit in a queue. Have your friend try deleting all mail generated by ArenaNet and players, and see if that helps. It can take up to a few hours for the money to appear.
I agree the price seems a bit high. I knew they would not be 200 gems but 300 seems like a better middle ground. I have always liked the idea of being able to buy just one or a few pieces of an armor set as I usually don’t like every piece of the set. I really like the shoulders for my Mesmer so I’ll probably end up picking them up anyway. For some reason the preview strips my other armor off so I can’t see what they look like with my full armor on but I get a general idea I suppose.
If you use the wiki to copy the in-game code, you can view the pieces with your armor on. You may or may not be able to view them with your armor on from the PvP locker, if they are there. I’ve not tried that yet, I used the wiki method.
They are soulbound on acquire. Always have been, as far as I know. Pretty sure it’s not a bug.
Gaile has already reviewed your ticket request and upheld the final answer given on 10-21-13. It is against forum rules to protest ArenaNet Customer Service actions. I am afraid your only choice left is to create another account.

You should remove that screenshot as displaying your log-in information publicly could be dangerous to your account security.
Don’t forget all the Gem Store items. Merchant Express, Bank Express, Box o’ Fun, etc.
I’m currently trying to complete exploration of the Bloodtide Coast map and subsequently earn additional skill points. I have just completed the two skill points on Stormbluff Isle: the cannon skill point with Deputy Crackshot and the fighting challenge with Agent Xinn. I successfully completed both, but have not, however, received my skill points for the two challenges.
The Hero icon in the top left corner of my screen lit up briefly, as it usually does after successful completion of a skill challenge, but did not stay lit like normal, nor showed I had any skill points to spend when I opened the Hero panel. My map, however, shows I have completed these two skill point challenges and has filled in the blue triangular icon above those two locations. When I talk to the skill challengers directly, the dialogue is congruent with challenges I have successfully completed and received a skill point for, and I can no longer retry the challenges.
I tried shutting down Guild Wars, my computer, and restarting them both, but the skill points have still not been awarded. I have perused the forums on this site and on other sites online, determined that earning skill points is infinite and does not cap at a particular number, and that there are occasionally bugs with the skill challenges. However, I did not see anyone specifically stating they had not earned the skill point, only that with the bugs noticed, they could not complete the challenge.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to why I would not be earning skill points for these two locations upon successful completion, and should I stop trying to complete the other skill challenges until I know what is going on, least I do not receive skill points for those other challenges as well? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

To chat to the entire map, you type /m or /map to change your chat to zone-wide chat. There is no Server-wide or World-wide chat function.
Also, make sure you have the map box ticked in the drop-down menu to be able to see your own chat and others’.
Hmm…I don’t remember that OP being worded quite that way. Regardless, authentication should take care of any IP changes, normally. I hope you are using some form of authentication to keep your account secure and out of the hands of those that might wish to compromise it. I travel all over, and I have had no problem authenticating various IPs and logging into the game.

Ahh….storage, often a problem. You can look up the contents of each chest on the wiki if you are curious.
I don’t think the loot from the range of chests most people have attained so far will be changed, though rewards from chests past 25,000 AP might be different.
Just curious, why are postponing opening your chests?
You are able to log into the forums, so your password must be saved in your browser. You can use your browser’s tools to look up the saved password, and use it to log into the game. Good luck.

I paid for Gems so i could Transfer Worlds due to Bulling i am getting on my current Server i selected a HIgh populated Server ( Not Listed as Full ) the Cost 1800 Gems i paid for 2800 Gems when i select Transfer it says i have 0 Gems ? i am very upset with the matter i cant get off this server and now i seem to have wasted my money also

The wiki has been updated to be less confusing. The Shard will only grant one life-time skill point.
From the release notes: ‘Finishing the Tower of Nightmares meta-achievement will reward the player with a personal Krait Obelisk Shard, a place of power for their home instance. It can be used to obtain a skill point and to charge Quartz Crystals once per day.’

Did you upgrade your account from a Trial version to a Full account? If so, this ‘changing of numbers one apart’ is the result, often.
I see from your screenshot that you were still downloading the game when you tried to log in. You will often get an error when trying to log in if the game is downloading. I see, also, you have ‘Remember Account Name’ and ‘Remember Password’ ticked. You might try unticking them and typing or pasting them in manually. This has worked for some. You can paste with the ‘Control-V’ method.
Each of your characters has a home instance inside his/her racial city. The section will be marked as xxxx(Home).
The crystal node was a reward from a past Living Story release. Right now you can earn a Candy Corn node and/or a Krait Obelisk.

That must be new, I have been able to delete and remake characters within minutes on the same name. I think even last month was when I deleted my char warrior and made a new human warrior.
Names are reserved for the same account. The OP wants to use the deleted character’s name on a different account.
Names are reserved for 24 hours after deletion.
Well, some (or all) of the changes to Kessex will continue at least through the early part of 2014. But, as for the Meta? I am not sure, you might try posting in the Tower of Nightmares sub-forum, and maybe one of the Devs will give a more definitive answer.
Only CS can offer a rollback on your account, and only if it was compromised after December 1, 2012.

Although it might not be considered much, there is a new way to obtain skill points, and a new skill was introduced. I am not sure if WvW is considered PvP, but there is a new map there…for some. Skyhammer was released in the second half of the year, as well, but I’ve no idea if that falls under ‘new map type’, or not.

To log into the game you must enter the email associated with your account, as well as your password. Using your display name (Hexus.7369) to log-in will cause an error message to display. If you have forgotten your password, you can find it in the ‘tools’ settings of your browser. Good luck.

Hi,
I send a ticket to you at least three days ago, I have no idea where to find the ticket I sent you as your website is a mess of options.
I asked you to just reset my account as somebody has built loads of characters/ unlocked all the achievements on my account, I should probably add, that I’ve not played this game before.. so I have have no idea who the hell created these characters and I don’t want them here.
I also want to play the game so I can unlock things, it’s not very fun at the moment.
Can you just wipe my account please? Presumably this shouldn’t take this long?

Odd, according to your previous posts, you have played the game (no idea how much, though) since December of 2012. There are posts about you playing in June of 2013, as well. If you have let the game idle since then, it’s possible your account has been compromised. If you’ve heard nothing back on your ticket, you could try updating it, and make sure to check all your other email folders, such as spam, junk, promotions, etc. Good luck.

I’ve never even tried the Mystic Forge for a weapon. I only use it for the Daily Achievement, because it’s easy and I have so many runes and sigils from salvaging.

Ahh..Ooops, my bad. I knew there was something to do with the 5th, and it’s the WvW First Season ending December 5th. Thanks for the correction, Randulf.
^Don’t forget an additional x2 for genders, unless male and female will wear the exact same armor. So that would be 450 new sets of armor. No wonder armor takes awhile to designed and implemented.
Tower of Nightmares runs from October 29th to November 11th, at least.
Blood and Madness ends on the 5th of November, I believe.
Sadly, this has been bugged for some people since release. Others, have completely emptied all mail and then filled their mailbox and it has worked. It’s never worked for me. Good luck.

The “everything is endgame” pitch isn’t flying here. The big empty world isn’t endgame. Endgame is dungeon speed runs, champ trains, wvw, spvp(lol), and sorta legendaries which is more a testament to farming than it is in any way a legendary accomplishment.
So weird that raids turn people off in this game. I love doing dungeons with my group but it’d be nice to bring more than just 4 other guildies to something. Too bad there isn’t any content for more than 5 players. (wvw and those awful world bosses excluded)
I thought they created all that Guild content for those who wanted content for more than 5 players. I don’t think that has anything to do with WvW or World bosses.

I tried to play the game today and I keep seeing the message the client is used by someone else. I changed the password as soon as I could and when I managed to finally play the game, I saw that my characters were left without items. Please help me recover my lost items!!!
You will need to insure your computer is free of viruses, keyloggers, etc. and otherwise safe, and contact Customer Support for help recovering and restoring. Top of page – Support.
Items that are account-bound will transfer with you, as will your bank. Items that are soul-bound will not. Usually inventory boxes are not soul-bound, but some are. I’m not sure about the Heroic Edition Mithril box. If you have already soul-bound these items, you might try contacting Customer Support and explain your issue. Good luck.
Do not ask for a refund. Just update your ticket and ask for someone else to review your request. I’ve not heard that particular response to this request before, so you may have spoken to someone that was unaware of policy.

Wanted to update about this issue. On the 30th of October, I received the usual update/patch release newsletter in my regular Yahoo email in-box. No problem this time.
There is always a way to transfer to another server (that isn’t Full) by deleting all your characters. The free transfer to Medium population servers may or may not return. I would guess probably. A free transfer to any server above Medium population is probably unlikely.
Having said all that, no one knows except ArenaNet, for sure.
It may have stalled out….sometimes events do. The blue circle doesn’t have a capture bar that I remember……
