You don’t need to log in to submit a ticket to the CS Team. It makes no difference whether you are logged in, or not. You can submit a ticket anonymously (just use the anonymous option at the bottom).

I guess the big ‘eaters’ for this items are(were) the Guild Hall upgrades, which is/was the point of giving these items as rewards. Maybe there will be new Guild Hall uses in the future, or Converters just like with the other Ascended mats, now that many have completed their Hall upgrades.
You could peruse the Mesmer sub-forum. I’m sure there are lots of posts about builds there.
My advice would be to park your Boosted L80, and level up a character naturally. That way you get all the tutorial tips and the rewards.

Sometimes, when playing a game for the first few months/year, everything seems new and exciting…and different from other games. But, after some time has passed, the new sheen kind of wears off, and things start looking a lot more similar to what has been seen before, or not as ‘cool’ as it was first perceived to be. /shrug
Well, keep in mind that a character doesn’t have to ‘map complete’ just to open the Waypoints that would be useful for WBs, Guild missions, etc. It’s not the same time investment as map completion (or even every Waypoint in a map).

There was a bug, which seemed to be fixed some time back, that items put in (or taken out of) the Guild bank would seem to disappear. They weren’t really gone, but in a sort of limbo and invisible.
The ‘fix’ was either changing maps/logging out, or removing/placing something else in/out of the bank.
You can check if this is the bug you encountered by trying to place a different item in the same spot you placed the dyes. That spot should be unusable.

My post is not only about the complaint, but also about the “content drought”. The current “content drought” is readily apparent and mentioned by WoodenPotatoes and various GW2 caster that’s part of TeaTime.
Who, exactly, do you think would write/create these stories/comics? I’m confused by your repeated mention of ‘engineering resource(s)’. Do you imagine there are employees lazing around with nothing to do? That only the ‘engineering’ team works on in-game content? It would be the Narrative Team and the Art Team. I’m sure they are hard at work on in-game content that has a ‘story’ and ‘art’. I’m also convinced the social media managers and GMs aren’t paid to write stories or create comics; even if, by some chance, they had that particular talent. Perhaps, you were suggesting these employees create content in their spare time? Still, someone would need to vet it; again, using Dev resources.
Perhaps, OP, you could write some stories and create some comics and post them in the Community Creations sub-forum for all to enjoy. =)

Yes, because the sale is on items purchased with Gems bought with cash. It doesn’t matter for items purchased with Gems acquired through the Gold-to-Gems exchange as those are free (from cash), anyway. (Unless, of course, someone purchased Gems with cash, exchanged the Gems for Gold, then exchanged the Gold for Gems, again.)

I certainly don’t see the draw of instanced content. I hope that is not the direction the game goes to in the future. There’s already enough complaints about Raids.
I don’t see any real Map Meta requirements in Living Story Season 3 maps, either. It seems quite easy to solo those maps. I’m not sure what gathering Winterberries or Bloodstone has to do with a meta. It doesn’t require an organized, or even an unorganized, group.

If the password is correct, and saved, then it’s probably the “issue with the connectivity / firewall settings” part of the message that applies, not the “incorrect password” part.
https://www.pingplotter.com/fix-your-network is a good guide to figuring out where network issues are happening, which is what is suggested by the error message.
I’m not sure this is necessary, as this particular ‘bug’ has been posted about quite a few times since the last patch or so. And, it seems this is the only time any connectivity issues happen.
But, who knows? Maybe it’s just a coincidence that the connectivity issues only happen with the password connection.

1.) Short answer: yes.
2.) Longer answer: GW2 has an very extensive free unlimited trial account which includes the entire vanilla part of the game with minor restrictions as far as gameplay go (https://help.guildwars2.com/hc/en-us/articles/230165307-Account-types-Free-Core-HoT). If you are unsure, just create a free trial account and start playing. If you don’t find the game fun, don’t get it. If you find it fun, get it. Simple and saves you all the drama people like to kick up on the forums.
Side note, many posters here will have many hundreds or thousands of hours on their account no matter if they are pro or con, you figure out what that means.
No need for the OP to use the Play4Free version (and its restrictions), as it is obvious the OP has already purchased the game.

I’m a little peeved myself, I bought a new character slot a couple of days ago, at the 800 gem price thinking that because they didn’t put it as a special during the march madness sale they weren’t going to put it on special at all.
The CS Team often give a partial Gem refund for purchases very close to sales. A ticket to the CS Team might be considered.
