They need to have it so that theres a slot to equip minipets. This is the main reason people never have them shown, they just disappear way too often.

They also need to fix the speed issues. My mini should follow me at the speed I’m going, not steadily drop back behind, and then teleport to my location, only to repeat the cycle.

I’d like to suggest a new mechanic that comes in to play automatically in a very specific situation: A warrior has stunned me and is about to use Hundred Blades

Right now when I’m jumped by a Warrior with my escapes on cooldown, I’m done for without absolutely no chance of fighting back.

They can do this several times depending on how long the fight goes on, which is completely ridiculous.
It’s a fight of one choice: “okay I’ll stand still while you rapidly eat my health away.”

So I’m suggesting that all of my escapes lose their cooldowns and can be spammed as often as I want when encountering a warrior.
This way I can’t be killed by the combo and can proceed to fight the warrior on my terms and win 95% of the time.

Also, if it’s not much to ask I’m also suggesting that I can turn off mesmer clones whenever I feel like it, because sometimes destroying one class just isn’t enough.

If they’re going to add a way to get them easily, they need to outline that before people spend their money. “We’re going to put these tickets in the boxes, but a month down the road, we’re going to make them available for purchase for a set fee.” How many do you think would buy the boxes? I certainly wouldn’t be, but as this was advertised as the only way to obtain the item, I was willing to try. I wasn’t “in a rush” as you put it.

I’m 100% sure that that is the case. What does that have to do with anything I said. I would love it if it were the case that I could’ve spent 10$ and gotten one instead of 60$ and getting nothing, but that’s not how it was advertised.

It should have been sellable on the TP if they want to continue using the boxes at such a ridiculously low drop rate. I would’ve for sure bought my gems to support the company and would’ve bought one of the skins from the TP. Win – Win for both me and Anet. As it stands, it was Win – Lose in Anet’s favor. No. As someone who spent 60$ on the chests and didn’t get a skin, I would be very upset if they added an easy way to obtain them. It is far too late for that.

Go to your achievements page and there’s a dropdown list of all of your titles. You can select one from there.

Welp. Decided I’d put my monthly GW2 money towards one of these weapons. 40$ later I have nothing at all to show for it besides a couple of gold from selling the dyes I got. I guess you won in the end Anet.

After seeing all of the wonderful art posted here, I thought I’d give it a shot, because what better way is there to work on my skills then to draw GW2 related art and make some people happy!

So link or post a screenie or two of your character and I’ll try my best to get a sketch done in a timely fashion!

Me and a friend took down a warrior in WvW, and we decided to have mercy after downing him and let him back up, so we went off to the side and /sat. He began to heal himself, and about 10 seconds later decided for some reason to stop healing and attack while downed, which caused my friends bone minion to walk up to him and auto attack him to death while we sat there laughing.

Yes, but then they will not buy again, which is the opposite of what a company wants.

And what happens when everyone has the equipment they want and no one needs exotics anymore? The price of them tanks and as a result, ecto prices tank. This has way too much effect on the economic side of the game.

No, simply because the multiple sets I already have will become useless.

I feel that guesting should be conducted on its own server away from the dedicated server list. I would appreciate a moderators input on said matter. All it is currently doing is making those who don’t guest feel neglected and second in preference on the servers they play on.

You do realize that that is the whole point of guesting, to be able to join in with friends on their server, not some “guesting dedicated” server.

All I hear from your post is that you saw the timer for a world boss end, and you want to kick out a guest so that you can get into the zone because you want to get your free rares. But then again, I’m not a mod so my opinion doesn’t matter I guess.

You can transmute the hood from a new character onto a white lv.10 head armor piece, it will then become account bound. Then just put it in your bank, transfer it to your thief and transmute it to whatever piece you’d like.

As a thief player, I think it’s time for the gimmicky troll stealth builds to come to an end. There are other build you can make use of that don’t involve stealth so heavily.

Gems are fine the way they are. It’s all based on demand for gems. As it increases, so does the price. Since more money is in the game since launch, it’s natural for the price of gems to go up.

I guess you don’t understand how the B2P model works. You buy the game once, but Anet still has to have income in order to support the game, monthly updates etc. This is where people who support the game come in. We shell out a couple of bucks here and there for some items that we want, while you can continue to play the game absolutely free. I’ve never played a game where they allowed you to buy cash shop items using in game gold so I think you should be just a bit grateful that you have the option of doing so if you’re not keen on shelling out some cash.

Honestly, at launch the gem to gold ratio was terrible, making people think twice about buying gems to convert to in game gold, and while the price still isn’t as ideal as I’d like it to be, it’s reaching a good state.

You guys really have to stop with the “guesting is the problem” tinfoil hat theories.

Whatever zone has the event is going to fill up regardless of guests or not. Be there early or miss out, those are your options.

I do not believe this is a guesting problem. It is because of the buffs to the chests that all the “phat lootz” chasers are flocking to these events. This wasn’t a problem before the buff, even while guesting was active. Be in the zone when the events pop up or take a look at the timer and arrive early. Otherwise you miss out.

Yes I would mind. As a S/P user, I love the fact that I can get by without using stealth at all and I also love pistol whip regardless of the negative feedback it seems to get on here.

I would love it if we were able to make our own campfire and drop it wherever we want. It could give us another use for the wood that we gather, and maybe have different effects depending on which wood we use.

No life/dedicated gamer/heavy grinder/TP mogul/Gems to gold/early exploiter/etc.

There are many ways one could achieve such a feat.

What I think should happen is that if someone on the home server is zoning into a zone, and that zone is full, it should kick a guest in that zone and put them into an overflow to make room for the person from the home server.

So I’m guesting on my friend’s server, in a group with them going through Queensdale when suddenly behemoth arrives. “Cool!” we all exclaim as we run towards it. Suddenly I’m booted out to a loading screen, and when I get back in game I’m back on my home server, alone. All because, while farming events in Orr, a “resident” found out behemoth was up and rushed to get his loot.

How about no.

Queensdale is my place of choice for daily’s and has also been my favorite zone in the game since beta. and after about 4 alts that are human, I’ve grown to love the place even more haha.

side note, one thing I might would add to that list is stop putting chance drops in those BL-chests if you want to make more money, then double the gem price. If the pink quaggan was 500 gems I would go get some gems right now….since its a chance to get out of the chest I will not buy 500 gems to get keys. I thought Anet had got the message back at Halloween.

The pink quaggan skin has buy offers at around 11g at the moment on the TP. Your complaint is irrelevant.
