I think the issue is AC Story is by far much harder than AC Exp. In fact, why are the Story modes always harder than Explorables? Look at CM and TA for example. The only Story mode which isn’t ridiculous was Arah Story Mode.

There’s no guarantee Eir’s plan would have worked though. They blame things on Logan when he had no choice, and possibly made the right move to retreat.

It’s the other members of Destiny’s Edge who got it wrong because they’re stubborn as a mule and went on without Logan anyways.

Not just that, but at least Logan has a better personality than the others. Try to explain to me who or what Eir is as a character without explaining her role in the plot? All we know about her is she’s a hunter.

Same applies to Rytlock, who just happens to be some important guy not representing any particular legion who has anger management issues but for some reason he’s capable of being in command? I say we throw him in a Loony bin and let Dinky represent Charr instead…

Caithe and Zojja aren’t as bad as tweedle-dee and tweedle-dum luckily though, but something is just missing about their character development.. They didn’t really develop or learn anything through the story, with the exception of Caithe who learned to stop forcing the races to work together.

Logan however goes through a lot more character development learning than any members of D.E. by learning the balance between helping his friends and protecting the Queen, as well as his duty as a Seraph in Divinity’s Reach. Logan has lots of spite towards Charr and some anger issues, but he copes with that same anger through maintaining his duty. He is quick to take initiative, not hesitating whatsoever to execute Two-blade Pete as soon as he got the chance.

Josh, I actually think we need MORE super-hard Jumping challenges like Clock Tower! I didn’t complete it either, but in my few attempts, it was AWESOME!

Please don’t feel bad! It’s a great addition for hardcore jumpers who enjoy these things, especially since you don’t have a carrot at the end of a treadmill (as all you got was slippers…)

As for the Mad King fight, I am really a fan of how it had platforming involved on multiple levels. What REALLY spiced it up is the sheer variety you had for progressing downwards in the map! Please make future mini-dungeons like this!

I like the idea for a Trahearne statue. He is the symbol of unity and power of the combined races. He deserves it for defeating Zhaitan!

If someone acts very nasty to a specific other individual by continuously criticizing them, and making rude remarks in general when it is uncalled for, and this continues for days and weeks whenever the harasser encounters the other in the /map chat, then can that person be banned for verbal abuse?

It’s kind of a thin line here because “being an a hole” isn’t against the rules per se’ but what if the specific individual says nasty things to you at every opportunity he gets?

How can the rules differentiate the harasser criticizing everything you say when it is called for, and when he is just going out of his way to be mean?

How exactly did this ruin the economy? In 60+ runs, I only got ONE exotic, and the rest were soulbound black lion items like Revive orbs.

So the burst skills of both the Mace (Skull Crack) and Hammer (Earthshaker) seem to have both the exact same effect of stunning for 2 seconds and same damage.

Except Skull Crack is single target and Earthshaker has 600 range!

Is there ANY reason whatsoever to use Skull Crack over Earthshaker? I don’t understand the balance here…

What’s even more sad is Whammos are actually useful this time around…

We had this in GW1, we should have had this in GW2. Period.

Either you use a weak password, share it with another forum, or have some form of malware. Address those concerns, and take proper precautions.

I made my Sylvari an engineer.

Hey I’m wondering what in the event stays? ANET said some of the additions in Halloween are permanent.

Personally I’m really hoping they keep the Mad King Realm since this is SUCH a cool level 80 zone (WITHOUT botting problems!) and it’s awesome for power leveling low level toons!

Will the book-backpack/Mad Memories also be obtainable still when Halloween is over? I really wanted it for my caster professions, none who are high level enough for the mini-dungeon..

In Asura character creation, which color is it really? I chose “Cream” but it still seems a little too pale compared to Zojja.

I agree that illusions should stay and function more like pets because so many Mesmer traits and skills are so dependent on them and the Phantasm skills continuously get nerfed with higher recharge.

Would it make sense to use longbow+rifle for a condition build? And what traits?

The rune I was thinking of is Rune of the Undead whereas the armor Precision+Toughness+Condition Dmg and accessories Power+Precision+Toughness.

With Rune of the Undead, toughness gets added a ton to condition damage, so the lack of Coral accessories still seems ok in this build.

But how would the equipment match up with weapons like Mace and Great Sword? Aren’t there traits to bleed on crit?

It says the items from from chests on the 23rd but the event starts 22nd? Please clarify?

I’m confused. It’s confirmed the skins from chests are permanent, but apparently we can craft the same exotic Halloween skins, except the mats only drop during Halloween? But there is a vendor with the same Halloween skins which are non-permanent?

So for permanent, we can either craft or get from chest? The same or different skins?

Is a condition damage spec viable for dungeoons? I figure that since Rifle has such a long bleed duration, it has a very easy niche to stack VERY high amounts of bleeding on a foe.

But is it really? Before I waste my money on condition damage, do you guys have any success stories to tell? Or should I just stick with Power+Vitality+Toughness?

It’s not necessarily bannable as long as you move around and actually collect loot every once in awhile. ANET wont ban you for going AFK for only 5 minutes.

Also, from my experience, this isn’t that good a farm in the first place.

I understand precursors are supposed to be hard to get, but ANET needs to rethink Mystic Forge as a whole if this and farming Plinx with a 0.01% chance is the only way.

SOMETIMES I hear music in Cursed Shore during events. I don’t know the name of the track but it is one of the “human” songs, I think…

Why need a fix? Teams who pull him to the waypoint are screwing themselves over since he’s not THAT hard if you know what you’re doing in the first place. He’s just… Too long to kill. And pulling him makes the battle take longer than it should. In fact, it actually makes it harder since you can’t go regen or change skills/equipment at a corner.

I’ve been trying to farm Cursed Shore on my Grenadier Engineer, but I’m getting frustrated at how slow Grenades are. As a result, I’m unable to farm Penitient Camp and sometimes even Shelter’s Gate as efficiently as others!

So please recommend me a new class or build to try. What should I make to more efficiently farm Cursed Shore?
