Who composed the tracks during the “Commando” trailer? Especially the one at 0:40 of Predator Air Strike?

I say leave it. Don’t ruin it for people who already have level 80s and want to level their alts.
Guild Wars 2 doesn’t force you to grind, but for those that do want to grind, let them.
Unfortunately, there is no reason for an engineer to use his Pistol Main Hand abilities. Grenades beat pistols completely on every aspect! (Except MINOR confusion which is out-damaged by grenade’s 1-attack.)
Engineer rifle spells and warrior rifle spells seem to be backwards.

I love the movement control offered to the engineer. It’s so fun to swap from flamethrower to airblast, to jump shot rifle, to the backwards flip of the elixir gun!
However, I do agree that the rifle should be a long ranged weapon and the engineer should have a shotgun weapon kit.
Unless they make weapon changes somewhere along the line, I don’t see this happening. It would be nice though! (In expansions, as opposed to new classes, they introduce new weapons?)
Jeremy Soule is a fine composer who defined GW’s roots.
Though, I wouldn’t mind seeing the guy who composed for Nightfall help out with the eventual Elona expansion. A lot of Nightfall’s music was REALLY memorable and fits more with Guild Wars 2’s heavy emphasis on ambience.
Hey guys. I play an Engineer, but accidentally deleted my Engineer’s steam punk goggles.
Is there any way I can get them back later on in the game, like the monocle via the “Noble” armor set?
Similarly, can I get the Thief’s bandana?
Is it a Conflict of Interest for the other races to do Charr missions?

They aren’t really dead. Well.. Yes, they are “dead”, but the Foe Fire brings out primal instincts, and they aren’t rational ghosts.
It’s like comparing a resident of Grenth’s Underworld to Aldebern’s ghosts,
Considering Logan Thackery hates Charr, it’s weird they would attack him too. The only explanation is the ghosts act primal.
I believe that a necromancer simply draws upon death itself to create their own minions rather than the actual corpses.
It’s hard to describe but corpses in guild wars probably have a death-based “energy” that necromancers feed off of to create their minions.
This is why when a necromancer exploits a corpse in GW1, the corpse itself does not disappear. (Also for the purpose of simplifying things from a dev perspective.)
Whereas minions are animations which simply borrow energy from the dead, Zhaitan directly controls the corpses and souls themselves.
The Charr are atheist in that they don’t worship any “creator” deities of any sort.
Rather, they are believers of the physical world, and liken the human gods to creatures of powerful magic they hope to conquer rather than worship.
Best idea ever!
But I wouldn’t mind a minigame either.
I get the feeling the Zhaitan fight is bugged too.
When the music originally stopped, I was at first disappointed considering everything was epic leading up to it. Maye they intended a fight with powerful ambiance?
But when the lasers hit Zhaitan and there was NO sound effects.. That’s when I knew something was wrong.
There’s also the fact while sometimes he had the health bar when I did the mission, and other times didn’t. So that seems broken too.
And I know Zhaitan is supposedly weakened without the stomach, but REALLY? Couldn’t he have done something besides summoning minions? The ONLY attack he used were those black-circle AoE things.
Honestly, at first I thought the Zhaitan fight was broken. Especially since at one point, when I first did the mission, I was able to jump off the airship and “swim” in midair…
On a related note, was it EVER explained WHY Zhaitan needed other entities like The Stomach to feed him? And did he really only have two stomachs? (One in personal story, one was Arah story mode boss?) What exactly were the mechanics of how Zhaitan works? All we know is that the Abominations were created by Risen Surgeons as opposed to being directly created by Zhaitan himself.

I agree that smaller bosses and foes are so much harder to dodge.
In other dungeons, I have an easier time fighting bosses simply due to their bigger size rather than normal enemies who seem to 2KO me and I wonder “What just happened?”
I sincerely hope the bug is the teleport if she is pulled too far into the door-room.
This boss is impossible without the door-trick. I’ve only done it once before using the stoning-method.

Lots of people have been having trouble with the mesmer boss in Ascalon Catacombs from what I’ve been reading.
Supposedly we’re supposed to separate the couple using the stones, but even with a team of level 80s, that didn’t work out in practice.
So after killing the other bosses, we tried to revise our strategy to find out what we were doing wrong, and we noticed a door connecting from the necromancer room to the mesmer room which you can close/open with a switch.
So this time we tried pulling the female boss into the door-room and closing the door before the male could come in, and to our surprise, the strategy worked! We were able to kill her with ease!
However, we also noticed if we pulled her too far, she would teleport back to her original location! This leads me to believe this door-strategy is unintended (Odd considering the setup of the dungeon?)
Considering how difficult the Mesmer boss couple is, I think ANET should promote this strategy because it’s the logical thing to do in a concept intended on separating them.
This is also the FIRST dungeon, so simplifying things to the likes of this rather than complicating it with the stoning-method might be more welcoming to newer players.
I really think the door-method is also a more fun way of fighting them. I hope this is promoted instead of changed.
I’ve really enjoyed that part too. It’s my overall favorite “mission” in the entire game.
Not to bring criticism into this, but I really feel like the Sovereign Eye is the true final boss considering how climatic the fight is. This was an amazing mission that even Zhaitan himself didn’t come close to topping!

Trahearne: I personally find him to be probably worst character. :SPOILERS:
Posted by: Kain Francois.4328
To be honest, I thought he would pull a Vizier Khilbron near the end of the story, since he just seemed TOO nice and helpful!
I really hope ANET ties him with the nightmare court as some epic plot twist because many players would not mind beating him up.
Come to think of it, was Trahearne EVER necessary for the plot? Besides cleansing Orr (What I assume the Pale Tree sword’s purpose) couldn’t the plot have gone exactly the same without him? Exactly the same? I really just don’t see what could have happened that only Trahearne could have done.
Luckily the story isn’t finished yet, and we still have other dragon expansions to go. So this should be salvageable.
I think Trahearne would have been more likeable if we actually knew more about him. We knew he’s a first born, and that he has a cool sword. We also know he spent time in Orr. Now where is the backstory to all this? We know nothing about him! He’s just some guy who randomly trusts the player character, who randomly owes an order a favor.
He doesn’t even help you during the Zhaitan fight! He just quits and doesn’t what to do with himself after his Wyld Hut!
Even Master Togo was more developed than Trahearne because he has a huge backstory! But we don’t know anything about Trahearne!
I have no problem with another character in the story to fight alongside, but I think Tybalt should have leaded the pact. That would have been a much more inspirational story considering Tybalt’s background as a coward rising up to a front-lines commander.

I generally run 3 kits, with my heal reserved for the dispenser/“healing turret”.
My keyboard input is setup specifically to swap weapon sets with ease on an Engineer. Synergizing the skills of multiple weapons in seconds is an amazing experience!
I want to see Trahaerne pull a Vizier Khilbron in one of the later chapters.
It’s already established a lot of the playerbase hates him, so why don’t we beat him up?
I feel ANET did an extraordinary job at presenting the Quaggan with a mix of comedy and cuteness which really makes you love them.
However, at the same time, they have the opportunity to be INCREDIBLY baddass! I wont spoil too much, but you will see what I mean in the personal story if you choose to seek the aid of the Quaggan rather than staying at the village.
There is also another quest which is particularly disturbing involving the Quaggan in the same Racial Sympathy arc, but I wont spoil that either. But the music combined with the dialogue was INCREDIBLY well in that scene, and I actually felt impacted by it!
Overall I really must say that ANET did an outstanding job with the Quaggan. Because they are so loveable, you REALLY feel bad about their situation!
On a slightly related note, I really hope that if ANET creates more Guild Wars 2 merchandise, that they make a Quaggan plushy!
I noticed a the weapon Tybalt carried was a sniper rifle of some sort. After doing some research, I found it resembled the Plated Sniper Rifle skin I previewed at the PvP storage.
My question is how can I obtain this amazing skin in PvE for my Warrior and Engineer?
I’ve heard about weapons called The Hunter and The Predator, but I have no clues how to obtain them, let alone what they even look like! (The Hunter is selling on Trade Post for 90 Gold)
Is the Plated Sniper Rifle actually one of the Legendary Rifle weapons? Or is it a PvP-exclusive item? How do I obtain it in PvE?
This has to be the most hilarious parody of Guild Wars I have ever seen.
Everyone who has played Guild Wars 1 should watch this video!
