I would like to guest, but dont want to waste my guesting for a server that doesnt do Teq.
if WvW had big 2 week content updates similar to how Living Story gets biweekly updates, I wonder how much different and more fun WvW would be now, compared to launch day.
What your thoughts on this?
So I decided I wanted one male character. I get that you guys like to look a nice looking females and you have done a great job creating beautiful characters. But what about a good looking guy for us girls. All the male humans are these scrawny little things (sorry I am not into pale vampire men). I tried making a norn instead so I could have a man with some bulk, but necks are to big and heads to small for the bodies. Not to mention the facial hair options for norns are ridiculous…I think you could do a much better job on creating male options that are enjoyable to look at.

My main is Human Male Guardian.
My second alt is Norn Male Warrior.
I picked human for my Guardian based on earlier Beta in which Norn Males walked real awkwardly slow due to their size.
That was fixed later on.
My Human Male seem too weak looking for something I wanted. I wanted a big in between Human and Norn in terms of size and bulk.
I dont want to be Norn Size, but I do want bulk.
Thats what I wanted originally.

It isnt about the bugs, it is about class balance. Apparently we cant reach an acceptable state of balance with what we have, you cant expect them to introduce new ones without increasing the already bad problems we have.
Balance is subjective, which is why no game has ever been 100% balanced without removing class uniqueness.
I wouldnt want that, because I like playing unique and different classes. Honestly, thats an issue I have with GW2 so far is how non-unique so many classes are.
Waiting months to fix balance which never gets fixed, wont make the game more fun for people who are losing interest. New play styles will.

When there doesn’t seem to be much effort put into fixing the glitches that are already plaguing that part of the game and those skills were there from launch.
We’re not asking for all bugged skills to suddenly be fixed. But it would be nice if a vast majority of them got fixed. Or at least patches that attempt to fix it. But as it stands it’s like ANet is pretending the glitched skills don’t exist. And trying to balance the game with those broke skills in mind.
the thing you are missing is that none of those bugs make the game unplayable.
I play the game just fine, and havnt run into many unplayable bugs. the unplayable bugs that are there have been fixed in most cases.
I rather than spend less resources on meaningless small bugs, and more on new skills and features to make the game more fun.
Because as time goes on, I am getting bored. and waiting 6 weeks to fix a bug that has no effect on my gameplay, wont make it more interesting.
have you tried running ascalon catacombs with guild members?
what i used to do with guild members is, run AC with all guild members team, then swap to low level character before we engage the last boss.
nowadays i just use the dailies to level up my non level 80 toons.

kidding aside, most people in my guild dont really talk much. not a traditional guild like in other MMOs.
I got kicked from a group, because I couldnt provide the DPS needed to burst down mounds on my low level character. everybody else is 80. I cant help that.
I would like to be on equal grounds, but feel as if something is very missing, that makes lower level dungeons more fun to level with and play.
I am tired of hearts, and tired of Champ Train, and WvW is not always useful for leveling.
Events are dead on my server besides a few meta events due to the nerfs.
This lead me to want to play Dungeons for leveling. But this issue makes dungeons no fun to play in either.

Whats best racial to spend skill points on first as an Asura Elementalist?
No point of having both EG and HT equipped at the same time, because they both are regen boon skills, which dont stack other than small duration.
No point using Regen Mist before Healing Mist since only duration increases a bit right?
Already a small heal as is.
I believe this is a issue that stems from the Boon system in general, since there is no regen stacking, it becomes pretty useless boon in big hitting fights such as WvW.
I dont like the healing line. Doesnt seem like it has interesting traits. lots of self regen, when I want more group healing.

How about if the saw was something more like these rotating rescue saws that firefighters use? It would stop the crying from people using the ugly greatsaw skin (even though engi can’t use greatsword or sword anyways, so it’s a silly argument)

It has a saw blade at the end, but with spiky chain and a handle on the other end for two hander swing animation to be copied over from other two hander melee weapons.

Because those skills don’t read “Elixir” in the tooltip. They’re not elixir abilities.
(If you want a reason why that is, it’s because the Elixir Gun is strong enough as-is. And shoehorning specific setups into specific utility skills is just not a good game design paradigm.)
#2,#4 and #5 are labelled as “Elixir” on the tooltip, actually. Thus…they are indeed elixir abilities.
And one would be right to expect elixir traits working with them, if only for coherency.

Why is it that Fast-Acting Elixirs trait doesnt effect the E-gun’s Elixir skills?
At least make the trait so that it gives some added effect to the E-gun. Doesnt have to be reduction in time.
Maybe like increase duration of Super Elixir and the healing effect of it with this trait.
and Acid Bomb is ground target and placed a unique debuff on the enemy or maybe torment on the enemy.

I think having water combat in pvp would generate a hugee amount of rage. As for the housing thing I’ve seen thousands of people ask for guild housing :s

i doubt that would bring rage. Its not the same as underwater combat which limited weapons, and skills.
Naval Ship combat would be vehicles that a owner can pilot, and have player crew members who can man cannons, and rams, or jump on enemy ships for a invasion attack. also can be used the same way against NPC monsters or NPC pirates and their ships.
1) No Levels – World is 1 level.
2) Each class has 50 skills unique to the class
3)Skills are gained by doing task in the world
4) Housing System – both individual as well as collective housing models, with a town feature as well for linking player created structures together optionally.
5)Naval, Ground and Aerial Ship/Vehicle Combat in the game both in PvP and PvE
6) Raid Dungeons made for 30 player groups and 15 player groups.
7)Elite Zones – random timers, but certain zones become fully champion/vet mobs with bosses mixed in. Forcing group combat in the zone for duration of the Elite status. Failure to defeat the Elite Status, triggers some kind of negative effect on players in the world.

I remember talk about pooling it and making it account wide. when will this be added. because I would like to start making builds with my characters. I have not put points into most of my characters due to wanting to save up.
Dont want to do this if they have no plans to make this change any time soon.
I would like to be able to buy the skills using my main, since I play them the most and have the most skill points on.
Want soloing you can pick : Guardian/Warrior/Necro/Ranger
But what are you looking for. you have to give us more detail.
Like a specific role play element,
or a fighting style (melee/ ranged/ magic oriented/ tech)
Also if you interested in WvW/PvE/SPvP/etc in a slight way that may temp you into playing it at max level.
Also what trinity role you enjoy (Tank/ Healer/ DPS/ Support/ Control)
Also any Weapon/Armor you prefer. best to list in a ranking order from best to least for you, so we can come up with something for you.

When Anet adds the new utlity skills, to the game, please dont make them as bad as most of the new heal skills been in this recent patch.
Seem like they were made to be worst than what we already have, on purpose, since multiple classes got bad heals, not just 1 or two classes.
I seriously hope the new Utilities and Elites are useful on equal or better terms than what we currently have,
especially if you going to be doing this 25 point cost thing. Because they sure dont seem worth 25 skill points on any of them.

What is so much fun at level 80?! Personally I think that the game stops being fun when I hit level cap.
At 80 I can go anywhere and do all events.
I get all trait points.
I can play dress up with my character and wear whatever I want within my armor type.
can do all dungeons.
that right there is reason enough.

apparently this is a thing now…. look its so easy to level up already. you can get to 80 in a day kitten . and besides the game doesnt get anymore fun when you hit 80 anyways so you might aswell give up now

I care about how fun the game is for me. and being forced to grind for levels just to gain access to the fun features which I paid for, is not good at all.
levels are easy for you, but boring and grindy for me.
Honestly I am bored with leveling. I just want to have fun.
yet you keep nerfing all sources of exp for leveling.
at one point I could level fast by crafting. But thats no longer the case.
Also champ zerging was very rewarding, but thats no longer the case.
hearts are very quest hub like, which is why I avoid them.
events are too inconsistent.
WvW is also too inconsistent.
I have got my engineer to level 51 now, and totally dislike the fact that I have to miss out on cool events simply because of an artificial number at the bottom of my screen doesnt match the number next to the zone name.
I am so tired of this same number preventing me from making the build that I want to play.
how many times I have to level up a character in this same world?

Why is it that only SPvP allows its players to fully skip the dullness which is Leveling?
WvW scales level, but still not traited, nor equal in terms of gear. I dont mind the gear difference, But I do mind the lack of trait points, because that effect my build play style.
PvE also doesnt provide much in terms of level scaling up.
I like to PvE, but not like this, in which I feel forced to do something not fun against my will, just to unlock the fun features in the game which I have already paid for.
I dont like this season concept. I want some consequences for playing and losing. Not just a big esport.

I don’t care what we get.. I just want utilities that can be used in PvE that aren’t passive or banners.
Right now, basically the only two utilities that I actually activate are FGJ and Frenzy really.
I’d kill for banners to be placed on back, but I doubt that’s going to happen.
Signets are boring.
Shouts are meh, FGJ is decent.
Banners are only decent for dungeons, hate hauling them around.
Stances are PvP
Physical are PvPNo one uses Physical in PvP.
I use them in PvE for CCing powerful non CC immune NPCs for soloing.
