Im totally serious and I have total understanding of the ele core mechanics. Tempest needs one change, and its the first 5s before overloading an attunement. If we can get rid of this sometimes you can even overload attunements worthly.
Sadly this was predictable. The sorry state of warrior makes it simply not viable to play with out Defense and Discipline. You need a hell of a lot of added damage to overcome the 30% extra you get from strength.
I simply dont see warrior being anyting close to viable until they buff healing signet to compensate for the kitten load of added damage flying around after the patch.
Maybe they need to buff other heals or do some little rework to some traitlines, Healing signet is strong enough
Maybe then this trait will be a little bit op, and it will be weird to see all people going into high places in order to jump over you xD
I think the better we can do is forget this traits when playing PvP :p
Maybe increasing base heal and invert 33% incoming damage into heal? At least, even if you can manage to stand in enemy AoEs, you will not heal your entire life unless the enemy keeps focusing you the entire 4s

The suggestion above might be decent for pvp, but nerfing the aoe dmg of a skill that allready becomes weaker when used as an aoe will severely hinder its use in Hot content
I dont understand why you think this is a nerf when doing PvE, except for the fact that AoE damage will not be perfectly balanced between foes, but I cant see that big problem there

With tempest, I I’ve found some interesting variants of the classic d/d, so even if they have similar roles Tempest really brings so much party support dropping 1v1 potential. Regarding overloads, I think you should be able to overload an attunement when attuning to it instead of waiting 5s, it would help to fix the clunky sensation of being camping in an attunement, and make overloads more worth cause they will be less punishing to use
As said, the only prof that can easily drop a spec for the new elite spec and get rewarded is mesmer. I really think chrono will be mandatory in meta builds. The new thief spec is the improvement of the old S/D thief, but D/P is still there, so at least thieves can choose between some different builds. Reaper also has to drop vital trait lines, so you have to totally rework your builds, and go on with other professions. I dont think specs are better than core professions, but they just add some variety to the current prof (as intended, good job Anet).

And then change all skills that generate LF to be on activation instead of hit? Because that’s the only mechanical solution I can think of that doesn’t include map architecture.

And working aroud the fact necro should be ooc when hitting the air without any enemy near him… Will not solve the problem of the extra LF generation when in combat, but it should fix the 100% LF camp

Good suggestion for pvp, but how would that affect pve? Hot allready showed that multiple enemies is something to expect, making Ua him less, and now add another nerf to it in above it
Its not a nerf, in fact as stated it will make more overall dmg cause the might stacked on the final hit

I like the idea of facets seen as a visual effect in the ground, and the dragon motif in the middle circle, but maybe this middle circle should be transparent instead of a gaudy purple/blue/red/whatever, seems a little annoying for the user and other players…

I still think that the only thing that needs to change is the first overload cd, when entering an attunement you should be able to overload it without waiting 5s, the after-cooldown is enough, no need to punish us more… Apart from that, this spec is very powerful in PvP, good job there, no more changes needed imo

There also might be some bug with the attack you port all over the place. I was attacked by it playing mesmer and used my portal from mid to close. The rev also portated to close and continued the attack. I dont think is supposed to be able to follow me there.

Theres a chrono trait that makes some of the clones to “respawn” when shattered, so you can easily do greater shatter combos… Outside of the beta is a totally different story…
I run tempest cause warhorn, not cause overloading, overloading attunements is just a really situational thing
In fact tempest is op with arcana, cause you can give perma protection to your teammates :p

Here is the rule:
-All skills will proc if it meet the requirement.
-If your HP is below 25% and get hit, it will proc the skill.In the video, you got hit when you are above 25% which brought your HP to below 25%. In this case, vamp rune didn’t proc yet because you didnt get hit while below 25% and then you enter DS and then got hit and then all the requirements met "When struck below 25% health you become mist. (Cooldown: 60s)”.
If anything it is just a bad timing and rune functional.
In fact the real bug is, vamp rune allowed you to use skill at all in that situation.
Its not working as intended, vamp rune triggers when in DS you are hit by an attack that out of DS would trigger vamp rune, but that should not happens cause when in DS attacks hits LF, not your HP…
Tell me if I got this right: from what I can tell from the video, if vamp runes proc while in DS, instead of turning you into mist, they just force you out of DS into “normal” mode. Correct?

I don’t understand. You mean the mist form from vamp rune procs like it should? Because in the video it looked like it dropped you into normal mode instead of into mist. I could see the mist form icon on your status bar, but all your skill slots were enabled, whereas they’re locked out when you’re in mist form.

For all the other builds, AA gives awesome sustain and extra damage that pierces toughness. For PvE and large scale WvW, where more damage is better or you cant keep the pressure into an enemy in order to profit AA, Swift Termination is better.
Actually, in large scale wvw, (assuming you’re using ranged hammer) it’s very easy to trigger AA, it’s amazing sustain and sustained damage. We’re talking healing signet’s levels of healing here
Hammer AA pierces, forgot about this, my bad… In that case its also pretty easy to trigger AA, in fact the 1s icd is the same than the 1s cast of AA hammer, and its likely you will always trigger the trait, you are right :p
Even if Vamp rune is broken, Im not sure if its better to remove it… See Air/Fire procs…
If something has to be done with Vamp runes, is rework the #6 buff, so its more related to vampirism and can focus more on leeching life… Maybe increasing leeching effectiveness so it can be a choice for Necros/Revenants? Or something related to vamp aura as posted before…

I dont have any screenshot, but I remember playing a match where each team had 3 thieves…. The whole match was about deleting and getting deleted
It’s incredibly hard to outplay/outsmart an Ele. Necros can but that’s because they have that single I win button, transfering all boons into condi aswell as occasionally offering interupts via fear. That’s not exactly an, “I out smarted him” move and not everyone have these type of counters.
I just wish other classes could do the same. Rangers could given their cc abilities but that fight takes 10m. Guard’s definitely can’t but hey.. we don’t care about how unbalanced 1v1s are right?
Actually signet necro is one of the smarter metabattle builds :p

Nothing done, gona see the next BWE, but Soldier Shiro/Mallyx with hammer and sword/axe seems to do an acceptable job. You use hammer 90% of time and swap to sword/axe to chase and kill disbanded enemies. Still have to work in a Jalis/Mallyx or Glint/Mallyx, but right know you can do some WvW stuff (all this large scale and without Ventari :p)

The refund was for people who bought the core game within the few months prior to HoT’s announcement. Everyone that wants HoT will have to pay $50 regardless of if they’re a F2P or veteran core account.
If you have the game now, at the very least you might as well login every day to collect your login rewards for free gold. Why wait for HoT? HoT is all level 80 content. You might as well spend the next 2 months to become familiar with the game and play through the current story.

So,
i created two F2P accounts for RP reason, and also wanted to see how a new player see’s GuildWars2 upon his first few hours during play.From a combat/questing/event view, it is the same as regular player
Now things that Bothered me. I know they are in action to stop any gold sellers, spammers and exploiters and the like, yet for an new player it is really bad experience

While i can understand that restriction, for a new player who has many questions this is the worst. He got so many new things but can’t ask anyone for help or advise.
I would say remove the block from the starter zones at all, but keep them in effect in other zones until they reach a level matching the zone, so when they reach lvl 80 they should be allowed to use the map chat like any other playerLeveling
While the PvE Leveling is the same there are a things that really is bad as a new player.
You can’t enter any Capital until you are lvl 10 and Lions Arch until you are 35. Also you can’t just run through the higher level zones
Not a big deal? Well, it is, since if you level by hearts and map completion, with events on the way you don’t reach lvl 15 until you are done with the starter zone, which means they are under leveled for the next zone. But they can’t go the another starter zone ether, so they have to grind events. Later on it doesn’t matter that much, as you get access to more zones. But for a newbie just starting, it is!Or if two new players want to start together in GW2 but create different Races? well, they are separated for 25 Levels before they can play together in Gendaren Fields (only if one is a human, Asura or Sylvarie and the other is a Charr or Norn, for races next to each other its still lvl15)

In fact you can tp to any other starter race zone, thats nice… And, I really understand the map problem, but theres people in the start zones that offers themselves to help new players, so they can whisper them

Not a bad suggestion to have a 5 minute preview of your new makeover before you commit to it.
However, you would then have to find a solution to this issue; how would you stop players from simply re-applying the 5 minute preview every time it runs out? And thus, they never actually consume the makeover kit, and can infinitely re-change their look forever?
Maybe making it a one minute cd? You can still reset it in order to see how it feels for 5 min, but becomes a really pain to reset it all day
