TBH smoke scale now is better. UA does less dmg but you can time it and even use it more

Since players are left with 2 choices….
1. Grind boringly for map completion, then struggle to get 20 Jungle Challenges (where 80% are Mastery gated)
2. or do 100% completion of Jungle Challenges, … with that distance and few and far WaypointsSuggestion is simple, reduce HP requirement down to 200.
So you can unlock about everything with just HP you already have back from Tyria ?
How about move your sweet bottom and do dem challanges, its an elite after all.

I’ve soloed a few with my necro, and soloed a few with my Thief, which was harder, but still possible. There are others though that I can’t imagine soloing though, like the Mushroom King and the Arrowhead ones in Auric, or the one with the Hylek up in the cradle-like airship wreck.
I’ve swapped to reaper for the stab on demand in order to do the mushroom, I dunno the others tho, I’ve just completed 5/6 hero challenges I think.

Elite spec unlock points should be shaved to half. If you have 100% map completition you have earned your elite spec. If not, you can do some stuff on new maps and unlock the elite spec, no need to kitten do EVERY single hero challenge in order to get your 400 poinys

I was finishing “Torn From The Sky”when leaving the instance I was kicked out from the game in order to upload the new build. Relogged and now Im stuck in SW and I cant enter Verdant Brink nor leave the “Prologue” instance
Imho the added condition duration is totally useless for 95% of condi based builds. When playing a condi build your enemies are condi cleanses, your condis last for long enough
The windows at Khylo – pretty sure thats a bug that ranged channeled attacks like your gs 1 and ele scepter air 1. The simple solution is to just swap weapons if you dont want to blow a CD.
For canceling any skill, you can use the stow weapon command. This command is not bound by default. You can find it in Options > Controls > Misc.
As long as you’re standing still, you can continue attacking no matter what you do with the camera. Its when you move that a line of sight check comes into play for some skills.
I’ve been screwing with staff, scepter, and pistol, gs. All projectile weapons, I play with sword quite a bit in PVE, so essentially it is kind of silly to force the sword option to break windows.
The cancelling skill should just be implemented into stealth as a quality of life feature. I don’t know it just seems silly not to.
And to restart an attack every time use Greatsword skill 3 is odd. Why would it turn off the auto?
For the camera issue, I was using a target dummy as an example. If I hold my left click and try to look at my character at a different angle and NOT change direction of my character at all. It stops the auto attacks.
Weird, this is not supposed to work like this, but instead like you’re suggesting to be. Maybe turning free camera on can fix this.

The autoattack will cancel if you have enabled autoattack. Disable it and it will finish before doing the next skill. Also, it automatically stops autoattack when stealthed, but sometimes you click 1 at the same time as you stealth or some projectile is on his way when stealthed and you get yourself revealed. Also, as said looking into somewhere else should not stop the AA, works fine for me :p
Say if my character is facing forward towards the target and I am using my 1 skill it will continue to do so, but if I change the position of my camera it will stop auto attacking even if my character is continued staring/facing the target. Is there no way to remedy this?
With a camera system like this, it disapproves the idea to look around your surroundings and makes you almost tunnel vision.

it’s not about macros. Such a funcion would be useless for combos.
I will give better example: “jump an show ally names” under one key.
At present i have show ally names under alt and alt can be combined with other keys so it is sort of double funcion key.
I understand, but yes it is a multiple action key and so banned. Also, its not the same Alt, than Alt+2, even if when pressing Alt+2 you’re likely going to trigger the Alt function anyway

I agree with OP. What he is said is true about forum QQ threads about ele burning. That’s why it was nerfed. Ele heals and vitality was slightly reduced by June 23 update.

Oh my God, just remove the Invulnerable Mist, it’s that simple. There is absolutely no reason for ArenaNet to be battling #6 bugs on this rune for so long other than lacking creativity.

I really want a rune that promotes life steal (cough cough vamp rune), so this #6 kinda goes on a wanted direction.

You burst any build, vamp proc, and when it finishes teleport away. You had a kill without vamp runes, now you have nothing.
You have a class that cannot come near you for 60(90 is fine) seconds assuming it is a class with a blink off cd, he got the blink off without being stunlocked (mesmer only) -and- did not pick up bleeding/burning/poison/torment.
-and- had terrain suitable to obfuscate pursuit with said blink close enough to get to it with <20% HP remaining.
Those are rare instances. Not impossible instances, but rare.
Any other situation is literally waiting three seconds.
Im literally unkillable with thief/mesmer thanks to vamp runes, cause when I get bursted I just survive and then run away. Also, the only way to get rid of a cele ele is to burst him down or he will just heal himself, and if he runs vamp runes, well, half of the time the burst is useless, tp away and heal.
BTW I dont get what are you trying to say with stunlocked blink

My statement was directed to why a minute long cd mist skill is so hard to counter that it deserves a hard nerf.
Coordinated burst? track him and poke him when he de-mists.

CD increase is fine, but 90% proc suggestion defeats the purpose of the rune and just leaves the player stuck in mist without any way to react to whatever just hit them. Any player attacking vamp player will hold their cds, and vamp player will have no skills to get away, block, or return damage. Instead of buying time for cds to come back up, it would just be a silly mid-battle pause.That and, like I said, any heavy condi applied while rune user is under 20% cannot be purged. There’s ample room to counterplay the traits of the rune with any dot condi.
And since condi ignores toughness, it eats well into whatever HP constitutes 20% of any class, if not completely through.

A cast time would make this most useless. What about leaving it instant cast but give the skill itself a cast time like it charges up a purple glow on the Mesmer that then stuns the target. Or something easier, like turn it into an instant cast projectile? That way it’s like ele arcane bolt. Fast moving, instant cast, but it does have counterplay. Then have slightly different shades of pink/purple for pain and powe spike.

Those games also have an infinite duration for stealth, GW2 does not. I am not a fan of the stealth mechanics currently (at least Stealth in combat) but that is a big big thing you glossed over.

you are fooling yourself if you think perma stealth doesn’t exist in GW2. the perma stealth is worse in GW2 than any of those games because you can start your perma stealth any time, no cooldown at all.

With CC you have so many ways to stunbreak. Say bye to stability tho (unless you run the dodge trait which I recommend). For conditions, well, Glint’s heal heals you for inc condi, and I use Hoelbrak runes too. You can use generosity sigils, but you are going to have hard times against a condi build

The main problem of the necromancer, expecially dps one, is that we have not a single block/evade/immunity skill,c making us the first cass to target why we fall quickly.
And the Reaper will not change it.
We’re doomed to be a defenceless class forced to play in midbunker (and really able to do it) just to not die.
Well, reaper has some awesome stability and better mobility than DS. Also, thanks to boons genering LF now we can trigger RS at the start of a match, this also helps.

You can press ESC, or drop the kit and then stow weapon (but then you have a little cd if you want to use another skill from that kit)

2 things:
1) replace tomes instead of transmutation charges
2) Black lion keys should go with reward track repeatable once for week (like personal level 10) and not one shot.

I don’t think making unlocking new Mist Champions exclusive to people that own Heart of Thornes is a good idea. Its essentially making the game pay to win, or pay to have fun, since f2p players can’t access them at all. Making a gemstore purchase for them would help change it since you can buy gems with gold or money (like heroes in League of Legends). It just seems like a logical desicion to not lock competive content away from people if you want the game to be competitive, but have a way to make money off of them.
PS: I did prepurchase HoT, I however have friends that have not and during the Stronghold beta this turned them off of buying it.
Pretty much like elite specs, you dont have them until you buy the xpac. I dont get why these cahmpions are locked, makes no sense to me, but in some way if we change this we should also change how we unlock elite specs, no? ^^

Hot join is cancer and unranked mmr is screwed up. I played unranked for the first time in a while with a friend not yet 20. We trio queued, 2 of the 3 are quite experienced so we figured we would get decent opponents.

Ranked n Unranked have different MMRs, so if you only play ranked your unranked mmr is going to be trash and then you are matched with lower-skilled players
If unrated=hotjoin, then you are not on the right place to learn PvP, just play unranked, or search some empty server in order to learn how the maps are
Half of the healing from CA aa converted into dmg would be nice
Adaptative Armor is broken cause the scrapper line isnt a tank spec at all, in fact with scrapper/alchemy you can easily stack 25 might, so giving this awesome deffensive trait plus damage on the same spec just makes scrappers so tanky while hitting as a truck, so I totally agree that this trait needs a rework (also its a totally passive trait, which is unhealthy for the game imo).

You can easily cancel engineer kit skills by swapping out of the kit and stowing. I don’t see a reason to add a redundant feature.
Not at all. If you are playing a warr, and you missclick 4 instead of 3, you can stow and then cast 3 instantly. When dropping a kit, you have to wait 1s in order to equip the kit another time. Anyway, you can cancel kit skills with ESC, so pretty much the “fix stow weapon” is kinda related to this and would solve it if you could bind ESC on another key
