Perhaps not a practical idea, but filling Tiria with player made music would be very cool in my opinion.
I see a lot of ways this could go wrong. I think I’d rather stick with music by Jeremy Soule.
Also, there are already a few instruments in-game that you can play, except you have to go to them to do so.

I agree that this is needed.
@Crunchy Gremlin
Here is an example: As an elementalist, I actively use the F1-F4 keys for attunement hopping. When I switch to a warrior, only F1 is used and it is a skill rather than a skill set change – I’d prefer to have this function mapped to a more accessible key.

I think a simple fix for this would be adding an optional extra password for bank security (both personal and guild)

I believe someone from Arenanet spoke out about this issue. They said that they were in the process of looking for a more permanent solution (studying how the botting programs/scripts work).
However, that is no excuse for letting bots roam free. I have seen bots that were still botting days after reports against them were filed. These bots not only disrupt our ability to do DEs (by killing all mobs before we can get a hit), but also sabotage the game’s economy.
I understand that finding the long term solution is the most important factor, but I am still very disappointed at the delay with which Arenanet handles current bot reports.. As the OP said, it wouldn’t be hard to devote even just a single person to catching botters. On my server, you can go to the Cursed Shore at any time of the day and see at least a couple bots at every popular DE location. I hope Arenanet is not intentionally allowing these botters to stay for data gathering purposes, because the massive amounts of items they sell on the TP are greatly driving down all market prices. I am a huge fan of following in-game economies and this issue going unresolved is game-breaking in my opinion.
1st suggestion – I think transferring into opposing server should be allowed until dueling is implemented.
2nd suggestion- I somewhat agree. I think free server transfers should be extended to every 7 days, and additional transfers should require the gem payments that were in place during beta.

I agree. Currently, most people are not aware when/what guild upgrades are active, and there is no indication if they are even working at all.

This would be a nice feature.

We desperately need more guild member information. I agree with all the suggestions in this thread.
I’d also like to add that this is a relatively cheap and very fast way to powerlevel any of your alts 10 levels.
Yes, it is really awesome if you are also doing another profession that uses up all your fine mats.
I have found an awesome way to get to level 400 Artificer, where for 1-375 all you do is make potions. It is pretty cheap to do because you can avoid all fine crafting materials, and one of the biggest benefits is that you can merch these items (especially the tuning crystals) to make your money back. The reason this works is because the exp you get for crafting a potion is similar to crafting a weapon, and it turns out to be a lot less expensive than the weapon crafting guides floating around.
0-25 Apprentice Tuning Crystal: 6 Pile of Glittering Dust
25-50 Weak Potion of Nightmare Court Slaying: 1 Jug of Water + 1 Head of Lettuce + 1 Spinach Leaf + 1 Tiny Venom Sac
50-75 Weak Potion of Dredge Slaying: 1 Jug of Water + 1 Copper Ore + 1 Lump of Tin + 1 Pile of Glittering Dust
75-100 Journeyman Tuning Crystal: 6 Pile of Shimmering Dust
100-125 Minor Potion of Centaur Slaying: 1 Jug of Water + 1 Thin Leather Section + 1 Carrot + 1 Pile of Shimmering Dust
125-150 Minor Potion of Dredge Slaying: 1 Jug of Water + 1 Iron Ore + 1 Silver Ore + 1 Pile of Shimmering Dust
150-175 Standard Tuning Crystal: 6 Pile of Radiant Dust
175-200 Potion of Centaur Slaying: 1 Jug of Water + 1 Coarse Leather Section + 1 Carrot + 1 Pile of Radiant Dust
200-225 Potion of Dredge Slaying: 1 Jug of Water + 1 Iron Ore + 1 Gold Ore + 1 Pile of Radiant Dust
225-250 Artisan Tuning Crystal: 6 Pile of Luminous Dust
250-275 Strong Potion of Centaur Slaying: 1 Jug of Water + 1 Rugged Leather Section + 1 Carrot + 1 Pile of Luminous Dust
275-300 Strong Potion of Dredge Slaying: 1 Jug of Water + 1 Gold Ore + 1 Platinum Ore + 1 Pile of Luminous Dust
300-325 Quality Tuning Crystal: 6 Pile of Incandescent Dust
325-350 Potent Potion of Centaur Slaying: 1 Jug of Water + 1 Carrot + 1 Thick Leather Section + 1 Pile of Incandescent Dust
350-375 Potent Potion of Dredge Slaying: 1 Jug of Water + 1 Mithril Ore + 1 Platinum Ore + 1 Pile of Incandescent Dust
375-400, I recommend making rare weapons using the mats you have available or the cheapest mats on the TP.
I hope you enjoy this guide!

I dug down to the 5th page to find the suggestion for the most important issue with the game right now. Please add this soon.
This is simply not true. Nothing has been done to the banks in WvW. The ones that were there are still there.
It might be worth noting that some spawn locations have banks while others don’t (it has always been like that)
Although this is a proven spam prevention technique, I agree with your suggestion. Leave it to the humans to determine what constitutes as spam and report for spamming when necessary. Maybe temporarily limit someone’s map chat if X complaints are filed. Give longer chat/game suspensions for repeat offenders.
Maybe let each individual guild set a toggle that says that it’s members can only be in one guild. So there can be open and closed guilds. Say I shut my guild. Then when one of my members tries to join another guild they get a prompt like “You are currently a member of a closed guild. A closed guild does not allow it’s members to join other guilds. If you choose to join this guild you’ll have to resign as a member of <Guild Name Here>. Do you want to resign from your old guild?”
Then a double confirm. “Are you sure you want to resign from your old guild, <Guild Name Here>?”
That should fix it for everyone.
I’ve thought of this idea before and I think it is perfect. Let the players who want to be part of a community be in exclusive guilds, and let the pugs who run around and guild hop for bonuses be in the open guilds.

*I absolutely agree that time stamps are needed. Another useful thing would be ability to toggle on Influence Earned.
*This could be nice. Also on the same note, please separate out permissions for the Deep Cave (since it is a separate bank)
*Yes, please split up “Admin Lower Ranks”
These seem to be the same issues other guild leaders run into. I am glad that I am beginning to see more guild related suggestions, which will hopefully lead to these features being implemented sooner.
I agree with the need to fix the commander system. I think that the name color change (and hopefully map dot) for players in squad would be very useful. Also, I think that commanders should definitely be able to see a list of squad members.
I also like the suggestion of including badges of honor in the commander cost. Rather than having commanders be funded by bots, we could have commanders who have actually played WvW. I think the cost should be steeper than previously suggested – maybe 50g and 2000 badges of honor.
As for the voting system suggestion, I think it might be too over the top. The simplest fix for incompetent commanders would be to allow players to toggle whether they see commander icons on their map.
Some vistas are ruining the game for me. Am I alone? Please heed my call.

I disagree. No one is forcing you to do map completion. If you strongly dislike a part of it, don’t do it.
This is like asking to remove salvaging kill variety from the Daily Quest because you only like playing on one map.

I’ve suggested this myself and seen a few others post it too. The in-game guild management options are almost non existent.
Please at least implement these soon:
-Split up “Admin Lower Ranks”
-Add Last Login / Influence Gained indicators to members list
There are many more guild-related issues, but please just give us hope and start adding small things in upcoming patches.
I noticed that Arenanet seems to ignore all guild related suggestions and focus on the ones that they think affect more players (such as market prices, dungeons, and balancing). While I agree that bug fixes should always be the number one priority, from my perspective the guild system is the most important long term system, and should be fixed before the things that have less of an effect on game playability – such as map rewards and minor story quest difficulty tweaks. Please know that to many players, guilds are the reason they will stick around for a long time. With the current lack of guild organization options, many guilds will fall apart and lead to players losing interest in the game.

I like your long term suggestions – especially increasing the effect of Outmanned to actually give a boost.
I don’t think this should be a guild mechanic. I think it should be a Squad mechanic. You should be able to see all members in your squad on the map.
BLTP - you've installed a minimum sell value now for one more thing please

Reasonable suggestion. Hopefully it gets implemented.
Yes, I think it would be nice if there was a toggle to “Show only usable by me”
I agree!
But please also add a Last Login field when you do this.
If you take the money, ANet might see that as you bought gold from a gold seller and ban your account. Even though it is only 1c. Its probably why the gold sellers started adding 1c to them.
Well, this is the most ignorant thing I have read all day.
Why would a goldseller TRY to get you banned? You are what they want — a customer. They started placing copper so the mail lingers longer. You are not going to get banned for taking 1 copper from a mail to delete it. Anet isn’t kitten
They don’t try to get you banned. They try to prevent their buyers from getting banned. They want to keep their customers around.
The commanders are able to turn off their own icon and should be responsible enough to do so when they are roaming through PvE. However, it’d be nice to see a commander icon when some big event is going (ex. dragon fight). Also, I feel like commanders should also take charge in PvE raids – not only WvW.

Allow out of combat weapon swap. If nothing else, it would balance out the number of inventory slots Ele’s/Engi’s get.
Back in the day games would make you drop your gear when you died. Gamers are getting soft.
Death of your character is a bad thing. You should avoid it. Stop crying about losing 3 silver for dying.
I don’t mean to sound like a puppy but that is ANet’s problem. The gold sellers have figured out a way to send money without putting the recipient at risk. Now, ANet needs to counter attack and only mark the people who have received more than some amount (10s?) from a botter as gold buyers.
As normal players, we should not fear getting banned for clearing out our mailbox. I think ANet should really put more emphasis on banning botters and gold sellers, and respond to reports IMMEDIATELY, rather than with a few days delay. I have seen botters continue botting for days after the initial reports against them…
Report, Take All, Delete.
So I got the commander title only to find out that it is almost useless in it’s current state.
The squad functionality is very lacking – all it gives is a special chat. However, most of the people in my squad are in my guild chat/mumble anyway so we don’t even use that. I’d like to be able to invite/kick members from the squad, see a list of squad members, and most importantly see all squad members on the map.

If you don’t do PvP (which is about half of the game), then you are bound to miss out on a lot of Achievement Points anyway. Just go on with enjoying the PvE content and don’t get caught up on one achievement because some of us like how the monthly encompasses a larger scope of the game.
I think two levels of profanity filter are more than enough:
-The high is for when parents let their kids play
-Adults get to decide whether they want a filter or not (Normal/None)
I don’t see a need for Arenanet to further concern themselves with this issue.

I am opposed to your suggestion. Just wait until more statistics are available and you will get matched up against servers that are around your level.
1) I’m not too opposed to this issue. Some guilds like to span multiple servers, so let them. You don’t have to have players from other servers in your guild if you don’t want to.
2) I agree with you 100% on this point, but unfortunately this feature is here to stay because a lot of players support it.
3) Yes, I hope this is a feature that Arenanet is planning to implement soon. I don’t like how little focus there has been on guild improvements since launch.
I think this could work, but only after botting is under control. At the current state this could lead to more exploits and allow botters to stash their earnings in a way that is harder to trace.
I agree, this is much needed.
Waypoints completely eliminate the need for mounts. I hope Arenanet focuses on more important issue and doesn’t even consider introducing mounts for at least the next year. And yes, waypoints are relatively expensive but that’s because they are supposed to be a money sink…

I don’t like wearing helms and would like to eventually see this implemented too.
There is a mechanic implemented and that is being matched up with server who win less, which if the point that OP is making is true will be the non-24/7 servers.

For a lot of people, their time zone does not define the times they are available to play at. Also, I sure wouldn’t want for capping to be harder at the only time I can play.

I agree with all the guild improvement suggestions. I just hope they are implemented before my guild goes to kitten/puppy.

to robinsiebler’s idea though. 4 guild is more than enough.

For many reasons, ranging from implementation challenges to putting lower population servers at more of disadvantage, having more than one SC to worry about, and taking away from server solidarity.

What if I want to link a cool site to my guild?
Please continue to report gold sellers and I hope that Arenanet does a little better job of promptly giving them permanent bans until it is no longer worth it for them to buy additional copies of the game.
The current behavior sounds like either it is a bug or an intentional anti-gold seller feature. Either way, I agree that you should not be considered idle when typing and gold sellers should be dealt with differently.

I agree, a spot in queue indicator would be very useful.
Not sure what you mean. Some items are ingredients, some are ingredients that can also be eaten, and some are only food. The items that are only food do not show up in the crafting panel.
I give this “-1” because I got 400 cooking without running into this problem.

I’m looking forward to this and many other guild management options to be added. My guild hit 350 a couple days ago and managing it is becoming a nightmare when having to do everything through a website/excel spreadsheet. Please make guild changes a priority Anet.
