I want this for my Chaos Axe so badly. It was one of my favorite weapons in gw1, and idk, it seems like all previous skins from gw1 that have been ‘enchanced’ and brought to gw2 have came out much worse looking imo.

Chaos axe, Primeval/Profane Armor, Fellblade to name a few.

But probably are way bigger priorities than this to most people which is understandable.

I’d like to see them stop adding wxp vials to the wvw chests, as many people have already hit the rank ability cap and don’t need all of these extra ranks. I have over 600 spare ranks and would rather get a rare or something since wvw loot is quite abysmal :c

I crafted one exotic luck and got 3 ectos, I mean how is that balanced compared to the WvW ones >.<

Seasons are kind of trivial for me, as I would be in WvW anyways doing what I always do. The main thing it has the ability to do is attract people to try the game mode atleast, but if it’s anything like the last season then they’re there for 5 minutes then leave every week, or if it’s like the first tournament you have inflated queues and lots of random rage at people who seem confused and keep losing you fights.

The game isn’t balanced aorund 1v1, as a necro you just need to accept an equal skilled power ranger will hard counter you since you can’t do anything against projectiles or reach them if they play properly.

But yes if he’s worse than you all you need to do is miraculously get into melee range, it’s hilarious how many rangers refuse to swap off of longbow. But like I said those are bad rangers.

I got one from the krait in EB randomly passing by them, pure RNG luck for these items sadly.

It’s much better for you than the Green Server who will be bored out of their brains with nothing to fight.

PvE – Generally Zerker once you get good enough at the content. Knight armor helps you get used to it if Zerker is too glassy.

WvW – Depends on your profession. Heavies normally go Soldier’s armor, Caster’s Normally as Zerkery as possible with just enough armor you’re comfortable with. Medium armor classes are normally roamers so it can be a variety of armor.

Dungeons – Same as PvE

I think stealth could fit in some way with spectral skills if you tried hard enough, but seems unnecessary. I’d rather see some form of defense that adds utility to a team that can benefit PvE and PvP at the same time. Not sure reflects would be too useful in PvP though.

Mesmer by far.

Agree with Spoj’s post though. Long cooldowns hurt the necro but the burst potential arguably make it better in PvP. Especially with all the eles and engis flying around atm.

Necro will do really well in wvw tagging/usefullness wise so I wouldn’t worry about lacking in it if it’s what you want to play.

Drarnor would be a good candidate indeed from his help, knowledge and activity over all this time on the forums.

Bhawb and Spoj are also names that come to mind.

I get frustrated quite a lot with my necro. I have over 4k hours on them, and in PvE we’re completely useless for 90+% of the content, in pvp we have condi necro which is weird as it is only op due to the abundance of engis and eles in the meta but still isn’t that great of a build overall since necro’s lack a lot of self sufficient things and group utility. Power necro is kinda gimmicky, like condi. OP if you can free cast but eventually the lack of mobility/defense will always get you killed no matter how good your positioning is.

In WvW I GvG on necro, and even there I have rage moments. You’re basically an unmobile ele/focus party mix that lacks group utlity or survival. And If I want to pug blob I’d rather be on my guardian.

I loved necro in GW1 though, so I stick with it, hoping for more/better weapons, defenses, trait reworks, utility, and if they insist on so much innate condis for necros, then I’d like them to rework how condis in the game are.

I wouldn’t run epidemic in pvp, personally. You have enough pressure and if you have a proper team you’ll have atleast someone close to you helping to pressure because necro’s do need babysitting a lot with how un mobile we are and lack of defenses. Condi nec especially lacking in lifeforce regeneration a lot.

My guild and I have had a huge problem with this lately, especially on static fields. If it’s not rendering for people playing on different settings I’m sure it’s a bug that needs to be reported.

The problem with this is they just add RNG for the sake of trying to add more time to the content, which is silly.

Content should be played for fun, not because you’re forced to because you’re not lucky or the developer wants to stall out something as long as possible.

I get there are people who think they earn things in games more because they devoted the hours into the collections and whatnot, but really it is silly in the overall scheme of things as someone can still devote a lot of time and still be unlucky.

I agree with the op, their use of cliffhangers have made the pacing and overall feel of the story very slow, it feels like nothing has happened or when something finally does, you have to look back at the episode 2 or 3 before it to even remember what was going on because it takes so long.

If you build to duel rangers they can easily be counterable, necro having the most problems due to lack of vigor/blocks/reflects/leaps/ports/mobility in general/might not have life force.

They are annoying as hell pew pewing from over 1500 range because of elevation though. And idk why people say they are easily focused, lightning reflexes and proper use of s/d or gs/muddy terrain/pet cc make them fairly slippery if the ranger is competent.

As an NA player on EU ping isn’t much of an issue for me. It seems EU’s have far worse ping issues when going to NA though, for whatever reason.

Would love to GvG more guilds from NA/China though.

I have trouble with Sylvari and Human races because I can never guess how tall to make them and it drives me insane.

Sylvari look ugly in everything besides plant armor imo so it hurts the want for me to play them

Norn males are so clunky and awkward moving and look just wrong.

Norn females’ voices scare me. A lot.

- More armor suited for Charr and Asura. A huge amount of skins in this game are made for humans, which hurts the people who like the other races, even though I understand it probably takes more effort to design non human skins.

No. The Living Story has bad pacing, doesn’t feel living at all, is usually the same grindy achievements reworded/disguised, and people go through the content as fast as possible so they can get away from it. The maps and events will end up being dead for people getting to the content later.

Would prefer a traditional expansion – it helps fund the game, and seems easier to introduce new regions/races/whatever than the living story does, ofc that could just be the writing that makes the living story seem so out of place from that perspective.

Still hoping for Tengu race too. :’(

Been trying for weeks as well, and have seen every legendary multiple times but no signs of Red. Really should be looked into or people who don’t check the forums are gonna stay in that map forever with false hope.

Really thought RoS would put up more of a challenge so far. They steam rolled us last week, and they beat dz by like 50k. Ah well, selfishly cheering for Drakkar I guess.

Just wanted to point out some irony though: RoS whining about blobbing even though all I saw last week were guilds running together to make 50 man groups (KISS/NP come to mind) and I also thought it was funny we saw the LOOT “spy” on our bl last week and they found a DL one. Our kitten tier getting serious yo.

Nice start, because RoF guilds can’t figure out daylight savings time and they’re all off doing they’re own thing with no commander tags, as usual.

Elitist guild groups are getting us nowhere.

Any person with common sense would figure reset would move with DST since oh idk, they changed it to start at primetime? It was a kittened thing for anet to do to leave time alone, cause people’s schedule’s do change with DST.

And elitist guild groups? Guilds want to run with their guild in ts, ALL of them invite friends of the guild to run with them on ts and even pugs time to time, god forbid they want to do things together in an organized environment and not just have 20 upscaled people not communicating with them and just rallying enemies. And guilds do ask nicely from all the times I’ve seen to please follow the commander with the tag on.

Anyways I’m happy to see guild groups this week, it’s a rare sight in bronze league so bring it on Surmiwagon! Or w/e hipsters call you nowadays.

Getting really kitten ed at all the glitch abusing this week. ROF randoms stop glitching in jerri. I know it’s just a select few but it’s people in some of our main guilds I have seen doing it. And multiple times.

Now BT just had 4 people glitch in sunny when we only had 5 defending it and they had another 15 pounding on the gate. Why didn’t you all jump out or the main group leave the tower.

It’s kittening sad people keep abusing these things, defending is already hard enough on kittenty no scouting/upgrading/sieging servers, you all should get kittening banned for just being that idiotic..

To the FR Vet Warrior with twilight and primeval: YOU ARE THE BEST PLAYER EVER. You only had to chase me from garri to south camp, then up to hills, while 100bing air with your I imagine skillfully earned twilight. I finally stopped and tried to ask you for a duel, but kitten , you and your skills. You were using the most creative and high skill capped build – stun lock – and still took 30 seconds to kill me while I was standing there. You proceeded to ignore my invites while laughing at me downed. I really hope your english is as good as your humor, I really hope you have the mental capabilities to understand this, but I just wanted to let you know you’re probably the greatest player alive. Now if you want to do this another time please whisper, Except I’ll actually fight back, and let you get a running head start and some vets to help you, just so it’s even.

The problem with your logic Tiggy is we’re doing to these server what we’ve been getting the last 2months done to us. You can’t consider this fun when EB is just a wxp train led by pve commanders who know nothing, when our very few guild groups just see upscaled pugs zergs from the other 2 servers. No, theese lower tier matchups are a lot worse. So we may win the PPT. Who cares. It’s not fun. It is fun busting blobs, it is fun ninjaing t3 stuff. The harder stuff is the stuff that makes wvw great, not this 100 man eb blob. Not ever having to defend our bl cause AS and RoS just don’t have numbers to pressure is ridiculous.

The worst part about this is we get so much worse as a server. We gain awful tendencies. Our pugs and general pvers don’t get better playing these lower tiers, they get even worse than they are and it’s just frustrating to me. I see how you may enjoy the matchup more since Warp is a small guild, but I can’t stand this.

And I was wrong, the worst part is this’ll be an above average matchup for us in the league. WIll you have fun playing Vabbi, Wsr, FoW, BT? you’ll get your few roamers, which Warp may like since you usually run 5 people, but it’s not better for our server, it’s just killing our bigger wvw guilds and making us worse.

No offense to the servers below us at all – don’t want to come off as insulting, it’s just that the way servers are right we should not be playing you because you won’t get a fair fight. RoF is in the kittenty position where we steamroll everyone below us, then can’t really beat anybody above us. Dz and DL will be a fun matchup. The others…. well I hope our pug xp train in eb is atleast respectful to them.

Followed Dulfy’s guide blah blah. Triple checked everything. And no achievement came up. I know I got every single 1 mentioned and gw2 leaks Dulfy a lot of things so it’s a credible source. Went to send a bug report and couldn’t even find a suitable option to report it kitten came here to spam. Please look at this because I don’t want to have to find them all over again :c

Not a bad matchup, kinda weird with how all the maps look, I like the change. A lot of RoF hate these matchups, I like them. Dzagonur is the only server with the same numbers and coverage as us, every server below us we roll over, so all the fun fights have to be with these higher servers.

I do miss my friends in gh and keep hopin to get to fight my friends in ag but haven’t got them :c one of these days hopefully.

You’re an awesome 1v1er. I’ve died 2 or 3 times against you tonight, but our latest fight is a joke. I got out of the golem to 1v1 (necro from [TaG]) and popped lich and then you just ran away… so I laughed because usually you’re out looking for duels not running like a girl. Then you come charging in spamming your condis on someone not even fighting back anymore. That was lame.

Next time try and not to act like a thief please because you’re fun to fight.

I avoided that! Rest of TaG should’ve been using op jumping off cliff zoom hacks like me. Especially some self proclaimed brilliant mesmer!

Anyways, this is honestly the most fun matchup I’ve had in months. Many open field guild fights which I love (SLAY, FURY, TEO/WBC, DEX, XXX, some more I’m probably forgetting) even though we don’t always win are still fun. Especially loved that astralhome cluster kitten (SUCK IT CENSOR I BEAT YOU TO IT), sooooo many people and guild groups – was like 3 or 4 guilds I believe. Such a shame it ended up when some guild got in an ac. If I ever see TaG throw out siege in an open field fight I will seriously walk away from that fight, hopefully other guilds like to keep it clean as well :p

And to GuM: ONE OF THESE DAYS I WILL TAKE THOSE SUPPLY TRAPS AND SHOVE IT SO FAR UP HILLS THAT YOU ALL WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.

Props to the SoW guild in Fort Ranik. Running ~15-20. Only guild I’ve seen that isn’t in a blob from either server so far. Hope to see more.

I feel sorry for Gandara guild groups. They have no one to fight because we’re outmanned on every map, if they want a tower or keep they can basically have it, and RoF really has no wvw guilds that can match their size or activity + skill level. We can’t even get more than 10 TaG into reset 2 hours in. The reason we got people saying you blob is because you just have so many people, whether it’s guilds or pugs compared to us. We can have 30 people in a map and still have outmanned buff, it’s kinda ridiculous. I remember running into Yak’s yesterday and we had about 15 they had around 30-40. I haven’t got to see any of the smaller guild groups when roaming with TaG yesterday. There was XXX but they definitely had too few but were well organized, and NAM or some guild like that who were fairly close to our numbers but then the pug zerg of gandara joined in…

So yeah, can’t really help with people randomly throwing around blob.

Not much to say about UW… um you got a lot? Lol, Was fun seeing a few IMP’s…and yah.

Also I hope the Gandara mesmer on sm wall auto attacking behind ac fire feels like a kitten on sm wall. I know you’re defending a treb on Wildcreek, but let’s be honest. If you all really want the tower all you need to do is throw 20 people at it. RoF is vabbi this week compared to you all.

Anyways hoping TaG’s wvw picks up a lot and wvw can actually be fun.
