IMHO, SoS has had an interesting few RNG matches, while I do not speak for my server or even the guild I am 1/400th of, I personally have enjoyed them.

Each player/server/guild should do whatever they feel is best for themselves, the game and/or their entertainment dollar. Thank you those who have been providing the WvWvW fun these last few thousand hours of game time.

Yeah, the rest of the guild has had plenty of fun i’m sure much better than t4. Also what it’s done is pushed our guild and server to improve it’s self, it’s forced us to improve or get stomped and so we have done so noticed a massive improvement from the server in general from when we started the rng matches to now.

I did PM you when I saw your thread starter to build initial rapport and get talks started. However, reading more and more of your posts you would not be a good fit for TC and I am starting to believe that this thread essentially is just calculated trolling. In TC we have the luxury and the long term planning to say “no” to guilds we don’t want as we have done in the past when Kaineng imploded. There are a lot more potential guilds out there that would be better fits for our server and still help bridge the gap coverage wise between us and T1 servers.

Why I think this is calculated trolling?
- Poster history sympathises with server loyalists and promotes less server stacking
- Poster history indicates she/he prefers to play 10 man havoc style in-game therefore is probably against the zergyness meta of NA in high tiers.
- Poster history implies she was in NA server a month ago and most of her references (examples) in posts are of NA servers not EU ones therefore its hard for me to fathom that this individual went to EU and within the span of a month became the spokesperson of a 4 guild alliance consisting of exaggerated numbers.

Lastly like all calculated trolls their goal is to have maximum reach/impact with their trolling which is where she slipped, she basically listed all the timezones outside of NA prime which means she wants her trolling to reach out to nearly all potential servers and have maximum reach.

Yes, we did win against them but not before RE transferred to us. Then again, when we fought against SOR, we were treated like newbies. That means we still have much to learn and improve upon. There’s always better tactics out there. Where SOR had very strong players. DB probably had the most inventive and patient way of fighting. You’ve got to fight them at least once.

Yes , i am familiar with how defensive and opportunistic DB plays very similar to Jade Quarry, we did make them tick 0 once though =P

+1. We had a couple decent wipes and was able to rally people into ts3 to get things started. I am sure you all in the TC zerg were thinking free badges (especially on the Bluelake push) but wanted to prove a point to everyone what the new meta is since ac buff etc. It was helpful I hope to majority of miltia that came out and watched the mechanics that RE/TC friends use when stacking/regrouping veil bombing etc. Thanks for the fights.

Hey bud, Team Shatter [TS] might be of some consideration to you, we’re a casual PvX WvW centric guild we do nightly WvW and Guild missions etc. Per night we field on average 20-35 members in WvW during oceanic periods so we’re quite large and we’re developing into becoming a serious WvW contender. I would also have to add, if your guild runs numbers less then 30 NA or 20 oceanic/SEA/EU don’t go to any t1 server, they run in much larger zergs where running with anything less than 30 becomes obselete and you would have to run with multiple zergs.

So it depends on what you guys like,

does your guild like to roam?
does your guild like to open field fight?
does your guild like to run as guild groups?

I’m currently from SoS and our queue times are minimal, we have occasional queues on EB and on weekends occasional queues on SoS bl. Atm we are quite undermanned against Tarnished coast yet we’re not outgunned, with SoS you have the opportuinity of variety of vsing t4,t5,t3,t2 servers and occasionally versing t1 servers. Currently we have the second strongest oceanic coverage in any server and a half decent sized SEA presence our recruitment has actually been pretty good with all the guilds choosing us by choice not because we payed them etc.

If you are interested in learning more about SoS shoot me a forum mail and i’ll recommend you to someone who knows more about the NA bracket i’m a oceanic =)

We’re a T4 going against T2 since we did so well against the T3 servers last week. It’s a big jump for us but we’re going to hold in there.

We might not win this week, but it only matters that we fight the good fights.

Could not have said it better myself, people often wondered how the t4 thread was so respectful in contrast to the other threads and one of the main reasons was that all three servers had something similar, they went through an exodus of WvW guilds and came out strong. So there was mutual respect in that regards that the people/Wvwer’s/guilds we were vsing were strong enough to try to make the server work instead of just jumping ship when someone shows 20k g to help you transfer (blackholegate).

It’s largely reps from 1 server who have been stirring up stuff in this thread btw.

The meta is coverage, and will always favor the higher pop servers, it is what it is, doesnt make the smaller ones more or less skillful.

Although, numbers are a quality of itself, but to be blunt, zvz against T1 guilds is VERY different from T3/4.

But what would you classify as a tier 1 guild anymore, many of the SoS guilds have plenty and plenty of experience in tier 1, more then the majority of TC guilds but you would classify those guilds on SoS as tier 3,4 material wheras you would classify a new recruit to say SoR as a tier 1 guild but it makes no difference. When we both vsed SoR last week yes the competition was tough, but as a guild we were still competitive occasionally wiping OCX,HIRE,IRON zergs maybe with more numbers maybe with less but to say that a tier 1 guild is superiour to a tier 4 guild just based on what server they are in is insulting to the many who decided to stick it out on SoS and CD to try to make it work. I would much rather have the guilds that are in SoS atm then MERC or ND again.

Definitely over 80, i have about 50 guildies on one map (special WvW event) with about 30 pugs and there still wasn’t a queue, a queue was reached when another guild came on the map aswell.

This may sound ignorant, but how does knowing which server you face beforehand help you organise? Is it because some servers/guilds do the same thing every reset and so you want to counter that? Honest question, I’m not part of anything organised for WvW myself so I’m curious. :>

Mainly borderlands allocation, usually you play to your enemies strengths weaknesses etc

For example my server is low NA, heavy oceanic, decent SEA and average EU

Server A is heavy NA but next to nothing off hours

Server B is decent NA and Decent off hours

we would allocate more guilds to server B during NA time and more guilds to server A during oceanic time to maximise ppt gain.

From what i know, TC guilds don’t GvG.

SoS doesn’t really have any guilds at this stage who can afford to put 15-20 members in a GvG situation. All the guilds we have at this stage are working their butts off learning SoR tactics etc.

LOL at TC complaining we’re attacking them, last week we had TC spawn camping us on EB while leaving FA completely alone and unmanned while they would not even let us start siegerazer/crusher.

Rather confused, last week was boring because it was too easy correct me if i’m wrong.

Now this week is boring because it’s too hard apparently you’re either going to win t2 or face t1 servers and this happens, the difference is too much between t1 and t2.

You know what would be a great idea, lock away all the tier 1 servers in a permanent 3 way battle while the t2 and below servers can have fun actually being able to do something without being zergballed by a 50 man group.

Forget the ranking system. BG is only a high tier because they recruit everyone possible rather than try to better themselves. SoR is number 1 because it grew based on skill.

I seriously don’t know how they get 30k gold to just give to guilds just to transfer, and how they do it so frequently aswell.

Weird I see a ton of people referring to SoR as Rank 1, now i’m no chest thumper but ratings in this game are determined by your overall cumulative point total. Which actually when you look at the rankings, BG is the number 1. If you actually look at BG matchup atm (we have an even one based on a numbers standpoint) you actually get to see what we can do without JQ riding on SoR’s coat tails. Hopefully most of you take this as informative, because i’m stating a fact (the ratings that is, I do not believe SoR initiates a 2v1 intentionally, but when you guys used to hit BG JQ rode your success and hit us while we were trying to stop you.).
