A healing signet warrior has higher regen than a guardian with clerics set, all the while doing substantially more damage. I feel the problem is that healing signet scales too well without cleric gear. It should hit 400+ hp when a warrior is decked out with healing power.

Otherwise its much too strong.

We’re being very mindful about the way the Sigil of Para fix will hit Warriors. We’ve already got another balance patch brewing, and we’re being very careful to watch all the classes and see how they feel after we shave down the condition spam classes slightly.

As others have said, once we bring down the conditions that “hold down” some of the physical based classes, they will feel stronger. We’re aware of that!

Mace/ GS build is a low skill cap build which faceroll new players, make it require more skills, sure(while making it stronger ofc, it wouldnt make sense if it require lot of skill but still being only a faceroll new players build), nerf it? heck no, it has no spot when playing with good players already, nerf it will only be destroying yet another warrior build.

But then again the concept of stun breakers countering stun-based builds isn’t a bad one.

Why would they wait for your 100b, i don’t get it, they see you switch to gs, its obvious that you are going to use 100b or any other dps skill gs provide.

Because they would of spent adrenaline on that 100b.

And to XII, ‘raising the skill floor’ rotationally speaking isn’t necessarily the same as nerfing. It just makes the game more interesting/prevents you dying to idiots.

Without any responds to those threads there can really only be two conclusions.

1. ArenaNet does not want to change how the game is played (spam, too much dmg, too many dodges, tide-changing elite skills) or more correctly, does not want to use ressources for that purpose. They ignore all those posts because they are simply not relevant to ArenaNet’s own goals.
2. ArenaNet wants to keep PvP as a secondary activity to PvE, and will therefore continue to support it with features that draw more PvE players into PvP. They will not make any major changes to how the game is played, and only make slight balance changes to adjust the meta once in a while.

ArenaNet are not transparent in what they want to achieve with PvP in this game, and the only feedback we get from them is “We are listening”, and then suddenly a patch drops that nobody would have ever accepted.
They advertised this game as a potential e-sport, and the core mechanics really support it, but without a gameplay that rewards skilled play it will NEVER be an e-sport.

The important part is the rest: What Jon is essentially saying is that it is pointless to list all those problems (like Xeph did) over and over again. ArenaNet knows about these problems already. What ArenaNet actually needs are not lists of existing problems, they need solutions – or, in Jon’s words, details. The game needs solutions or at least suggestions, not “I quit”-posts that don’t have any productive content. Therefore, I fully agree with the removal of Xeph’s thread.

Now I understand why they keep saying, if you are not happy about the current state of pvp you can always come back later to check out whats new. They don’t care if 0,48% takes a break, they got our box sales, as long as the other 99,52% get more content in a faster pace. We can’t blame them for that.

We can blame them though that these numbers are what Anet brought to themselves. PvP isnt big because it isnt big on the priority list either. PvP never got big enough for it’s downfall to be noticed by anyone other than the PvPers.

since you based it on their box sale, what makes you think that those 99.52% still plays this game every day. back in feb i’ve always been in overlow in LA. in June is just like, no overflow at all.

GvGers are on your leader boards killing your dudes. Conquest mode promotes poor play and cheese gimmicks this is clear as you see how low the skill level is of the best pvper when put against the skill level of the best GvGers.

I would like to see a WvW player as good as Teldo or Phantarm, truth be told Wvw is about who has better AOE’s.

Which means they did get “new toys” + healing buff. there i said it, if you still didn’t realize it.

If you wanna get really particular about it, no one was running necros for those 2 weeks anyway, because once again, the playerbase was way behind.

Either way you want to look at it, the counter has been in play for 7 weeks tomorrow, but no one caught on till yesterday, and half the posters on this forum still haven’t.

Warriors did get “new toys”. They improved Berserker’s Stance to 8s after the initial 4s introduction and they improved all the heals. However, I’ll agree for the most part they could have been seen way earlier in the meta.

Berserker stance change was in the same patch as the necro buffs. The counter has been right there all along. I think you’re right about healsig though, good point.

Fighting against a stun warrior is probably one of the most frustrating things in this game for me. The simple argument is to “dodge all of their stuns n00b l2p”, however, it’s impossible to dodge every single stun from those tiny asurans. When do you get hit by them, it’s already gg. You literally CANNOT DO ANYTHING for 5 seconds while they do 100b and you just have no choice but to smash your keyboard with a hammer because you have no chance to win.

While i agree everything else. mace/shield gs build can’t not perma cc or cc as effective as a perma cc build. and 100b does kitten damage without PPC which they die real fast with, not to mention as engineer have damage reduction while stunned, or you can blind, cc, kit and all that, when they have their little mace out its most likely going to stun you, so you can just keep it ranged or anything, and for asura its equal to every job, its just op in itself compare to other races. as myself, i’ve also been perm cc’ed by an engineer. the real perm CC, but being able to move a single step nor do anything at all till down from 85% hp

and sure stun warrior is that fun to me, i perfer the old powerful gs lb build

SPvP will never be on the forefront of creating new builds, because its a dumbed down version of World vs World….People find a meta and stick to it not willing to lose their “ranking” while in World vs World, you’re more likely to lose fights and try something new.

What? do you even know what you talking about?Do you even know what Meta means? People stick to the meta, because it’s the BEST, there i said it, the best option they have. every patch gone live, PvPers adapt the meta fast within 1 week. There’s no such thing as "not willing to lose “ranking” because we’ve figured it out in the very 1st week, oh and about the lose “ranking” thing, there’s something called hotjoin where you can even open your own room.

and you say that you’ve made builds for warrior which they adapt a few month later. That doesn’t mean KITTEN, ill tell you that. Do you know that this game used to patch once per month and now twice per month with major or minior PvP changes?
