Im new to this game and i picked put my 2 classes already. Im thinking of using the “The Legend” staff for my elementalist when it get to higher levels. I chosen a short bow for my ranger because of its rapid fire for my ranger. Anyone has an suggestion about what kind of bow i should get when i reach level 80 thats not an legendary? And is there an staff the equal to “the legend” that slooks better but not the bitfrost cuz the legend dosent look attractive to me

All exotic staves are equivalent stats to “The Legend”. Lots of cool staves out there. I recommend emberspire as a first ele staff.

For bows…. I really like Eir’s bows.

Lately I’ve been seeing more and more hacks into unsuspecting folks’ accounts, and many are automatically setting their own mobile authenticator (I’m guessing) so they can keep the account longer. I have one of those on my account. If, Dwayna forbid, a hacker got ahold of my account, would they be able to create a mobile authenticator on my account, a second one? Would they first have to get rid of mine, and then do it?

I realize it sounds obsessive, but I’m feeling like I need to change my email and password for the game at least once a week to be safe from hackers. I’m sorry, I know I’m crazy, but this is my only hobby at the moment haha.

Lilith, are you saying you have mobile authentication set on your account, but you’re concerned that someone might somehow add a second, overriding mobile auth system to steal your account? If that’s your question, I believe it’s safe to respond that if you have mobile auth on your account, you’re safe. Naturally, if your credentials were known and someone acquired your smart phone, there would be an area for worry. But with mobile auth, a unique password, and discretion on your part (such as not leaving your account online when you’re AFK, to prevent the “Evil Little Brother™” type hack) you should be just fine.

Thank you much, Gaile.. I was just concerned that hackers might be able to unlink my authenticator if they try hard enough, which would be devastating to me, considering how much RL money I spend monthly, and how much time and thought I put into both of my accounts. I’m glad to have that cleared up.

But yeah, the only thing that makes phalanx strength “useless” is running multiple eles in casual runs and paying attention to fire fields all time, but again, noone except DD really does that. And noone really has to, I’d but very surprised if I saw runs casual runs with perfect might stacking being faster than our usual one’s, even containing no eles at all.

In the end, there’s only one best dungeon guild. And that is heitred’s. They are excellent and unmatched in what they are doing.

The nerf to the merge party exploit has been fixed in a way I believe. So merge-kicking is impossible now. You can still join + boot the host though.

Guys… After reading the FAQ For the 20th time I’ve come to the conclusion that skipping mobs is destroying the game. You see, by not killing the mobs in TA we are actually limiting the amount of thorned bags filled with linen and oranges that we could be adding to the economy and aiding everyone in getting their ascended gear. As we all know, ascended gear ruined the game first, so the better we do to alleviate the grind that is ascended armor the better the game becomes.

Plus, by skipping mobs you’re ruining my fun.

One way to do it quickly is to create a new character and throw all the skins into its inventory, then delete the character. No tyIping out anything other than the name of the character once.

Due to low inventory space on a new character, even with cheap 10-slot bags on it, you may need to do it several times if you have a ton of skins…or throw some coin out for 18-slot bags and try to cram it all into one deletion at the cost of some bags.

I spend transmutation charges like crazy. I will upgrade gear and skins every 10 levels, often I will not keep the same skin on a character for more than a week. (Cough 18 characters cough)…. I don’t mind spending charges because I’m not destroying gear to do so. I’m just… upgrading. Plus, you can farm charges in game. So that’s cool. You can’t upgrade the stats without removing the skin because it’s an entirely new weapon or armor piece. You have to spend a charge to re skin it or keep the skin that it has (sometimes not a bad thing!)

Charges are something you’ll want lots of, if you care for fashion and looking good while leveling.

Sometimes I like to know that I can mistime a Subject Alpha roll and not splat. It’s as simple as that, sometimes I like to have that stress taken out of the game. My goal those nights isn’t to finish fast, it’s just to get through it, kill stuff and have some fun before I head to bed.

Considering this is a GAME, and it’s played for FUN. Sometimes it’s more fun to take that stress off, making those non zerk optoins better in that regard. Is it being lazy, sure as hell is, but there’s nothing wrong with being lazy in a game that’s supposed to be just played for fun.

That’s totally fair. I don’t think anyone here disagrees with you that regardless of play style we do it to have fun. We just all have different definitions of what that is. When I play with my hubby, I put on my sentinel gear because he likes to do the slaughtering and feels bad if I’m the one up close and personal, killing what he wants to kill. I understand that. If you want to run Dungeons like that, more power to you. The issue is here, people who list what they want in lfg on both sides of the fence are being ridiculed for how they enjoy playing. And the truth is, we are all able to play how we want. There’s nothing wrong with asking for X or Y in an lfg. The problem comes when others try to force their playing ideals down throats.

All you have to do is go to a black lion armor specialist. There’s one near the TP in divinity ’ s reach and just click “exchange”.

Zerker is the best option. End of story.
If the player aren’t good enough or have actual issues like lag or slow reflexes, than it’s a user problem. Mechanic wise berserker stats with an optimized build are the best for every intanced pve content. Okay, some classes benefits more from assassin, but you get it.

It’s like you state a Ferrari isn’t faster than your bicycle because you can’t drive it …

a Ferrari is Faster than a bike, And Zerker is faster than everything else.

But a Bike doesn’t use gas that costs $4+ a gallon.

There’s more than just speed to consider.

What happened there? No one died and they were fast.
Conclusion?
You can survive fine in berserker gear, IF you don’t get hit meanwhile you are faster than any other option.
Oh now you come here and say “but but but zerker licks the floor” etc …. There is where players skill comes in. Objectively, zerker is the best option. End of story. No nitpicking. Stop. Right now. Don’t even think about it. Stop. Good.

If you take into account player skill, this gets a bit problematic.
As i said above, if your internet conncection is laggy or you simply aren’t on that skill level than it is justified to get the “training wheels” on and run in knights, cleric, pvt, whatever.
Every other excuse than this is … well … i will keep this opinion to myself.
Of course, you can get a whole group of pvt guys with decent builds (yeah, surprisingly a few stuff can help) and afk kill almost everything, but it’s soooo lame.

Sure, play in a bubble where mistakes can’t happen and what not, suer zerker gear is hands down better, if you remove everything but speed then of course the fastest options is the best.

Problem is you can’t seem to understand that not everyone cares about speed.

Not everyone wants to power game when they get home from work, some just want a nice relaxing time mass slaughtering enemies. Well I mean… I have a Legendary skin on most of my sub 80s right now. If you’re willing to spend transmutation charges your level 1 can have whatever skin you fancy which is in your wardrobe. Otherwise, you use the base skin with the stats you want.

The thing that bothers me us that Razor spends a fortune on full ascended zerker gear to have it nerfed.
Which makes us poorer players want to never want to upgrade. His point to reset gear that was nerfed is not so far fetched. Not that I support ferocity gear, but a chance to reset would make me want to excel and get the better stuff. Which means play more.

Note they have reset armor in the past so what would be the problem?

After the feature patch I bought all of the skins I didn’t have from the gem store. Now my bank is filled with skins I can’t stack, can’t destroy without having to type the whole name of the piece, etc. It’s a total first Tyrian problem… I know. But there has got to be a better way. If I could just destroy them all with a right click or a click and drag it would be fine. But typing the whole name is lame.

For example, Lilith likes the new light. I don’t (at least not the skirt). Although I like the male version of it…

We both like the new medium. Based on the sheer number of people I’ve seen running around in the medium and the heavy, I’m thinking it’s pretty popular right now.

I don’t care for the zodiac, but I see lots of people in it too. More than I’d expected honestly.

Although, admittedly, some of my like / don’t like views may change come the end of the week. Right now my 5 yr old system runs everything on low, but all my new shiny computer parts come in tomorrow, so I’ll be upgrading so I can run things on high and really check things out. I’m like a kid in a candy store right now…

I started to love Zodiac once I tied it into my Asura ’ s RP story. (She was experimenting with extra dimensional portals when she accidentally turned her torso into an intergalactic portal)

I do dislike the new light skirt. It makes the legs look huge.
