Right now I’m trying to figure out which path of TA I have never done. I did the new path for sure. In achivements tab I can see that I’ve done 3/4 paths. Can you give me names of final bosses of the rest paths so maybe I can recognize them?

TA up has the spider, Malrona, and the spider queen Fyonna. TA forward has the room with the archers in the death bubbles and a long run to Leurent (who has a knight, a cultist, and an archer).

Story mode has the things you have to collect for Caithe and the illusion Destiny’s Edge that try to kill you.

Thankfully, I have a good memory (unless its names, mind you) so I didn’t have that trouble personally. But A lot of my friends had that issue when it came to Arah. Sometimes it helped if you described the basic outline of the path or final boss for them to remember. May you have someone who can do that for you and that might help you.
But in some cases we ended up simply doing them all again until the achievement popped up.

This but also you could look at the wiki for the walk throughs to see if you have done a particular path.

I have the same thing happen but with my “zerk/exp” runs. People come in without having read the LFG note, or they just choose to completely ignore it.

Most of the problems I read in this forum area can be directly linked to that issue. If these people would stop being idiots then we would all be a lot happier.

My guardian may adhere to your fashion standards ;D I realize that there may be no absolute solution to this problem. It unfortunately is hardwired into today’s society. Maybe having something like an extra option for the LFG tool that includes no skipping as a check box much like the language option they have added.

There are a variety of check boxes that would be useful, however a lot of people would complain that the spirit of it is too elitist.

If there’s a no skipping box, there also needs to be a speed run box, and so on. Similar to the old gw2lfg.

I would need a “Lilith fashion approved button”. Hold on while I make that suggestion to Anet via email. >.>

I do know that dungeon rewards are somewhat buggy so it’s possible people are waiting for the bugs to be fixed before going in and potentially wasting time.

This is kind of a glitch in the reporting system that Anet needs to address. Once you leave an instance (being kicked from a Dungeon party), you no longer can access the party names to report them (clears chat log). This complaint has been standing since the report system come out.

I don’t run Dungeons, but several guild mates told me they take a screen shot of each PUG (or unknown leader) party early in the run so at LEAST you can manually type in the names from the graphics in a report. Definitely a PitA, but can give some satisfaction to an otherwise frustrating situation.

Probably best for you to just let it go and join a different party and try again.

The above solution is most likely the most widely used and may be the main reason the glitch has never been addressed. I would also venture that this may also be a HUGE reason many players try Dungeons a few (or one) time(s) and never return.

Pretty much this. I’m a chronic screencapper too. I first get every account name, and then if there is any conflict in party chat, I screen that. I’ve never been kicked, but I’m too paranoid not to protect myself with the screens, so at the least I can block those who might grief me. (But again this has never happened to me)

They are excellent shoulders. Now, I’m okay with them being pvp exclusive, but only if certain Pve armors are exclusive. I don’t think it would be fair oothewise. I don’t pvp so I don’t know if there are armors that you can’t get, but yeah.

I got the shoulders from an achieve chest I think. They are perfect.

You should try guesting onto the server your friend is on to see if that works. Not all maps are megaservers

Hi all!

I have a suggestion for the gem store transaction history: it should also show recent gifting transactions. Even if it’s still a limited quantity like it is currently. I gift a lot of things to friends and that sort of thing, and sometimes I forget if I, say, got that mini pack for my husband yet. And he doesn’t log on often so I can’t usually just ask him. This would be extremely helpful to me so I don’t send duplicates!

Ps. Thank you for the gifting capability. It’s the only way I get to spoil my bashful friends who send anything I send via mail back to me. NO RETURNS muahahaha.

Now for another viewpoint:

I like Aetherpath in so much as I’m with other players who know how to do it. However, even then, it is not anywhere near my favorite.

In reality, loot wise, it is terrible GPS. it is not worth it, unless you are actually enjoying the puzzles, the gimmicks, the scenery, or the RP immersion. Personally, I feel sick every time I think about it, because I miss the path it replaced more than anything in the game. That was my favorite path.

Other dungeons generally don’t have the “puzzles for the sake of puzzles” that Aetherpath does. They are also much shorter and in general, more rewarding for your time. As the above posters indicate, dungeons are not ever the face roll you see in open world (well, at least not at first). The mobs hit harder, the bosses hate harder, and you have to use your dodges. Aetherpath is just a longer dungeon in comparison, and you have to experience every mob kill, basically full clearing the path. This is not the case for most dungeons.
