Again, only 8 Mastery Points for the Personal Story, as there are 8 and only 8 Level Arcs.

I think bob counting world completion and getting to 80 twice in their calculations since they are both under hero.
And then the second time for them selfs.

Well it aint always possible to get all stat combos on pick your stat items hence why I asked.

If so you wont get any for you charr.

You only need to complete the 10,20,30,40,50 etc on 1 race, to get a total of 8 mastery points.

season 3 is the new maps you just need to play the episodes to get into them

living story season 3 episode 2 and 3 you can buy them for map currency.
Buy one of each as you can only equip one if you want them infused and attuned.

Are people really that helpless or are they too clouded to open the wiki or google it? It’s more work to begin a new thread than google it to find out within about 1 or 2 minutes how this map works.

There are a number of people who have very limited time to play, and many MMOs that you CAN just get in and play without having to consult outside sources. If you only have 1 hour to play you want to spend that time playing the game, not reading about playing the game. And additionally there are probably people who will go to an empty DS and simply conclude that it is just not popular or not working. Why would they even think that they have to look it up online to “find out how it works”. Shouldn’t it just work or be made clear from within the game?

If you only have an hour to play it wouldn’t matter anyway. DS takes longer than that. Play on a day when you have more time.

Or accept that the game design doesn’t allow you to ever complete that portion of the game and be left feeling deflated.

A lot of people with jobs have ‘only’ an hour to play at any one time- perhaps after putting the kids to bed and their own bedtime. Hence why DS is such a bad design. The map itself should always be accessable to be able to complete it and grab the mastery points.

Locking content behind ‘mega’ events, timers, having to search outside sources, bringing in masteries locked behind all sorts of ‘content’ that looks like it fell off SMB8’s cutting room floor, etc to name but a few, puts people off.

Thank god then that there is this thing called single player games that you can play for an hour at a time and complete everything on your own

In an ideal world, there are 9 professions, 10 raid slots. You should be 100% viable taking 1 of each profession, and having a bonus slot tailored for each fight (maybe you have that guy that swaps toons out every fight because he is special and cannot play one profession too long. Or maybe you are struggling with staying alive so you take a healing druid or tempest to even your odds.)

Okay i understand your enthusiasm and i want this to be true too but comimg from wow you understand that even back in vanilla which was 40 man raid all the way today clases and specs are not taken in raids because there ia always a better class.

12 or so years they still havent done it and gw2 is quite notorious for its not so amazimg balancing, but you ask here for a 10 man group which will take all classes meaning all classes should be usefull and also that 1 spot is versitile meanimg 1 class is not over performimg the other in general so no need to over stack it unless for specific encounters which bringing more will benefit the group.

Now give me an example of a game that has manage that lvl of balance. (take mote in not shotting on your ideals of raiding but that scenario is unrealistic not only in gw2 id say).

The game that managed that lvl of balance was city of heroes/city of villains.

Wouldn’t make much sense as those masteries are PvE.

And so are hero points and we can buy those.
I just extended that to the mastery points that people dont want to spend time to get like the racial armors for example or camping silverwaste for the rare spawns.

If they can chip away at it over time and get a random mastery point for lets say 10,25,50 or even 100 proof of heroics.
How do that affect you and me ( I assume you have completed core tyria masteries already aswell )

Pretty much the title. I was going through my inventory trying to see if I had enough ascended weapons to make a new character ready for fractals and saw the nice box with an ascended quality box. Then come to find out that it was the Golden Fractal Weapon Crate which only has exotic quality weapons inside. Shouldn’t the quality of the box be the same as the quality of it’s contents? I know the boxes themselves are supposed to be hard to get, and thus maybe they made the box ascended quality, but it doesn’t make sense with the weapons themselves are exotic. In my opinion, the golden fractals weapons should be made ascended to match the box’s rarity, or, much more likely for sure is that they should change the quality of the box to exotic.

TLDR;
Golden Fractal Weapon Crate shows as Ascended, but has Exotics inside, Bug?

Its the same with all the bags in the game, do you pull out exotic and rares out of every orange and yellow champion bag you pickup?

I see dident even cross my mind that someone would tp flip on two other accounts and use trash items to transfer gold to their flip accounts.

Since listing the items on the main account was sending the gold the wrong way.

Sounds like a fool proof strategy to scam some scammers out of tons of gold and you should definately spend the 375g listing fee to prove that you are right.

And it is scaling (for whatever reason) even if you don’t need it outside of fotm.

Okay, one picture doesnt prove it scales, but even if it does, as oriori said, you need it only in fractals, so if it scales somewhere else, thats completely inconsequential.

Maybe they were in a 75 or lower area of the map and just checked their agony at that time.

I’m referring to jumping from one waypoint to another.

I’m assuming you mean you’ve unlocked Forsaken Thicket but not killed a boss or something? Cause I have completed all masteries but haven’t unlocked Forsaken Thicket and I get spirit shards.

Orphan is a pain? really its 10-15 mins of running and giving presents to children.

Sure skritt hit is broken hence why I dont do that one and I dont enjoy the spvp so skip that to all others are easily done.

If I used the boost on a Level 1 character, how many hero points do I have at level 80?

The rewards list state only stats and unblocks are given, but since HoT, a regular rain (8 to 10 at a time) of HP’s show up as the character levels up. With the fast track item, do they still show up? If I use it on a level 80, I do wind up with less HP than I start with? My 80’s are elite, and I’d hate to de-elite them just to get rid of that boost item.

The rewards was to good before for the time spent, now they are more in line.

Just to save you some bank space you can turn those scrolls of exp into tomes at the mystic forge npc in la 10-1 conversion so instead of 500 scrolls you will have 50 tomes
