The really weird thing is it seems Anet doesn’t care about AFK farmers, and yet many people have recently resorted to using scripts to make them semi-randomly cast a variety of skills so as to appear not AFK. From apparently not bannable offense to blatantly bannable offense and it’s not even remotely convincing that it’s not a bot. Very weird.

Yeah. This guy is….I mean, when you stand in the same spot for several days there’s no question that you’re NOT running a bot. It’s hilarious lol.

And to think that the guy in question is from such a prominent guild as well…I’m disappointed, really.

Well if all he is doing is standing still aa on greatsword 4 and letting minions kill he is not botting.

Afk farming yes botting nope.

The raids need an easy "story mode"

in Fractals, Dungeons & Raids

Posted by: Linken.6345

Linken.6345

  • A story mode would not detract from the difficulty of the experience in regular raid modes.

First, we have a developer response on the topic here: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/dungeons/A-Plea-for-a-Raid-Story-Mode/first
Which says they are discussing it, nothing final, nothing actually being developed, but there is internal discussion about it. I’m sure when they have more to say they will and no amount of asking will make them discuss it faster, especially in threads that ask for an easy mode and stop there. “I want an easier mode” isn’t very constructive, nor useful for the developers. Actual suggestions on how to do it can expedite the process but a simple “I want” isn’t going to do a thing.

Second, the thread topic is about adding an easy mode for story, which means some way for all players to experience the story of Raids, removing Raid specific rewards.
The main issue with a story mode version is that it can become Arah story mode number 2. Worthless to run outside the story, so you run once and forget it even exists, then it gets hard to get people to run it with. I’m sure this is one of the most important problems with a story version, how do you make it not-useless while at the same time allow players of really low skills to complete? It’s a contradiction

There have been multiple suggestions on how to do this without being a waste of time:

Spectator mode

In some HoT instances, when you join another’s story, you fly around as this blue glowing ball since you’re not technically there according to the story.
So maybe similar can be applied here. You can interact with the npcs of the raid but are immune to damage, cant cast anything, and work outside the 10-person limit.

With this one, it will take the minimal amount of work to do (unless it’s hard to port the pvp spectator mode into pve, I don’t know how their coding works) and requires no reward balance at all. Also, some form of training can be achieved here as you watch how other players play in a live environment. This is probably the easiest method but is it worth it compared to watching a video on youtube?

Raid encounters as Fractals
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/dungeons/Fractal-versions-of-the-Raids/first

Lots of re-work to balance the encounters for 5 players, however no balancing of rewards needed at all, the reward system is there. Aside from the serious tweaking of mechanics, this version that requires 5 players will have minimal, if any, kind of training value for the real Raid, as the mechanics would need to be toned down, or require far less things to do at once.

And this is my own suggestion:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/dungeons/A-Plea-for-a-Raid-Story-Mode/first

The idea is simple: remove later phases from fights. It won’t work on all bosses, some can be problematic, but for the majority it can work really well. It requires a bit of tweaking to make it work well, mostly hit points and enrage timers, but there is little need to change the mechanics, and very little (if any) reward balancing either. Also, in this mode the story mode can work as training too

Thank you for linking my thread, I’m glad that was considered a legitimate option by some one at least.

I’ve read this whole thread and I’ve got to say Blaze championed the positions of my faction quite strongly.

Unfortunately I’ve moved on for the foreseeable future. I can not see my self financially supporting a company that has no place for my Great Sword Reaper in the only End Game that matters now that it’s the only place you can hope to work toward Legendary Armor. ESO is a breath of fresh air, the pace is a bit slower and it’s refreshing to switch to a game controller for a change after almost 20 years of PC MMOs. Well good luck, I’m sure my $50 a month plus I used to spend on this game in gems won’t be missed.

How can you claim that it is the “only end game that matters” if it is not required/necessary to get it done ?

If you had read alittle bit more the poster said why it was the only thing that mattered.

I made it easier and boldend it for you.

Why are you making Fractals much more easier?

No. On the contrary. It actually tells players to break the bat OR avoid the rain. It’s an extra putin option to deal with the boss. How is your idea different from the current reality? Walking out of the aoe ring and autoattack with a ranged weapon

I used to run Tempest Staff, but since staff got nerf to hell, I run Scepter/Warhorn. And my style is to get in close to Captain OP to drop all the fire skill on him then pop Overload Fire before turning Air and drop Overload Air. then back to fire. And I get attack my his meteor shower most of time. I just dodge and run towards him in another direction. As for the breakbar, I tried to break it, but most of the pugs don’t do it usually……. unless I am in a group that knows what they are doing……

Well whats the problem then if people dont break the bar, as you state here yourself.
He is no easier now compared to before.

From the latest Patch Notes:

The raids need an easy "story mode"

in Fractals, Dungeons & Raids

Posted by: Linken.6345

Linken.6345

I am all for a story mode. Something that allows people to experience the story without the need to do pretty much anything. If that is how some players like to have their story served to them, fine by me. All about the story, with little rewards in terms of items, no currency, etc and of course zero challenge.

However, I also wish to stop there with making anything in raids easier. If they were to further develop certain bosses then I’d suggest adding a good challenge mode to all of them instead. The current benchmark set by most normal modes is already pretty low.

And its set that low becouse they want to try and get more people to raid, hence why this discussion is going on to make two diffrent modes mate.

Solution: nearly every major MMO offers difficulty levels. It’s totally normal. As typical as for Anet of course they don’t offer them and that’s why we all have all those little annoying things. There are easy tasks in the raid you can do, but I still understand all the people who don’t want to do it and even can’t fill their mastery level. It’s not really customer friendly.

Difficulty levels would solve so many raid-related problems – it is baffling that the devs have been so resistant to implementing them.

The problems are, as always, people problems — not a technical ones. You can’t solve that with technology, no matter how hard you wish you could. (and, I assure you, the anet developers will feel that as much as you do.)

Setting aside the fact that this is, in fact, a thing which exists, in the form of the challenge mote for now, we can focus on the idea of multiple difficulty levels in raids:

Do they reward the same amount of loot? If so, players will — being human — naturally gravitate to the easier difficulty, and the harder will be disregarded and, essentially, wasted. Only a tiny minority of players will ever bother with challenge for the sake of challenge, compared to those who will take what they see as the most efficient route to completion.

(Want proof? Look no further than the threads talking about the raid “meta” and the difficulties of raiding without following it. Those are, exclusively, players gravitating to, vs resisting, what is seen as the “path of least resistance.”)

Do they reward loot proportional to some approximation of the challenge required to complete them? If so, does completing “easy” lock out loot for “difficult”? If your answer to the second is “no”, then players will complaint about feeling “compelled” to complete both, in order to keep up. Even without the gear based power gain of other MMOs, you still gate the speed of acquisition of legendary armor on this.

(Also note: do achievements complete in both modes, or are they separate? In the former case, easy mode is the desirable path for legendary armor, if not, you have provided a nice mechanism for “link <think> or kick” in pugs…)

Also, in terms of loot, if you mismanage the conversion — estimate “easy” as 1, and “hard” as 2, but actually turn out to be 1:3, or 2:3, in whatever metric the players latch on to in terms of assessing this, and you suddenly have a “good” mode and a “not enough rewards” mode. Ouch.

Also of note: the wide variety of loot and fame options tied to different levels of raiding in WoW, as they experimented, did not in any way dent elitism. “Looking For Raid” difficulty was scorned as the domain of casuals, and generated enormous amounts of complaint about having to carry them when it had rewards seen as necessary for more serious raiding.

Similarly, people were treated as poorly in PUGs for LFR-only experience, etc, and players still demanded appropriately “you must worship me, peon” perks, titles, achievements, etc, to properly gratify them that they were recognised by the community is definitely better than people who didn’t play through the same difficulty level as them.

At the end of the day, it doesn’t actually solve the problems, it just moves them around a bit to different areas.

So serious raiders would be unhappy to complete thier normal run and a easier run a week for another subset of loot? This aint the 12 ap aday dailies that they have to keep up with mate.

About the achievement what if it took 10 kills instead of 1, anet shown before they can tier the achievments so shouldent be much of a problem.

Oh I dident realise all the raiders wanted was a title… Slap on the legendary hot raider and release all the loot from raids elsewere then.

Well I done lfr resently in wow, no scorn there they dont even bother to kick afk people just burn through the bosses and share loot with who ever needs it.

Game design problems

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Linken.6345

Linken.6345

I see a lot of people replied to most points already, I just wanted to add my experience with the game concerning difficulty (Damage received vs done)

I’ll tell you about my history with MMOs first:

I had played GW1 for several years, and also raided a lot in WoW from the start of TBkittenil the end of Cata. Finally I tried LotRO a bit, but never went higher level than 55.

I’ve been playing GW2 since the first public beta in april 2012. I prepurchased the Collector’s Edition, loved the game, but struggled with it at first. It seemed a lot harder than what I was used to!

Especially the dungeons, which I did with my raiding buddies from WoW, whom I had played with for years. We wiped more often than we liked at first. But after a while (MORE THAN ONE MONTH!) we got the hang of the game, and started doing pretty well.
No more wiping.

When most of my friends were still playing, we got bored and we made a team of new characters and jumped straight into fractals, at level 2. This was back when Fractal levels weren’t account wide. So the characters would just start at level 1.
But, Apart from having boosted stats, we didn’t have any utility skills, no elite skill, no talent points at all, and we didn’t have any gear, or weapons other than what you get at the start of the game. We even still had to unlock most of our weapon skills, while a lot of the mobs in fractals didn’t give XP when killed (mostly the events where they spawned and you had to fight off waves, like start of Volcanic Fractal), and therefor didn’t even advance our weapon skill levels most of the time!
Back then you also didn’t get to choose what fractals you would be doing. You got 3 random ones and that’s what you had to deal with.
We made it work anyways, and managed to repeat the “joke” until the characters hit fractal level 10, which was when agony started back in the day. We quit by then as we obviously couldn’t equip Ascended lvl 80 gear with AR on our (by then) level 8 characters.

Nowadays a lot of them stopped playing, but I occasionally still play with one of my friends. We no longer seem to need the whole group, because we can 2-man pretty much all dungeons and fractals, unless mechanics require more people. Like the domes to open the gate in CoF1, you NEED 5 people as far as I know. Or the pressure plates in Underground Facility, 1 mesmer, 1 thief, and one random as pressure plate weight can get through the first bit.

We have yet to encounter content (apart from very high level fractals, raids and large scale events) we can’t finish between the 2 of us, even though a lot of it was actually meant for 5 people. There were 1 or 2 Hero challenges in HoT we didn’t manage between the 2 of us, so we had to wait for others to show up.

Before you say “But you played for 4,5 years, you have the best gear in the game by now!”: The only ascended gear I have on my main are the accessoires, rings, backpack and necklace. I never bothered to get my armor or weapon beyond Orange level. And some of that armor isn’t even suitable for my current build, since I changed from condition build to Reaper recently. It doesn’t seem to hold me back.

So sure, the game can be a bit rough at the start, but once you get the hang of it I don’t see why anyone would have trouble with it at all.

You can actualy solo cof p1, not saying its easy tho.

I would assume if Anet added something to the MF for recipes, then you would get a recipe back. Much like tossing in 4 runes.

You’re probably right, but being in control of their game, they wouldn’t have to limit themselves to doing just that. Even if they did, a random chance to get a recipe you don’t already have is still better than multiple recipes you’ve already learned that aren’t worth much to sell.

Dont kid yourself mate it wouldent be a random recipe you dont already have, it would be a random recipe period.
So you could get the same one back if you were unlucky.

Did GW2 lose its identity?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Linken.6345

Linken.6345

You never say that this easy mode raids are what you want, you say that it what everyone wants.

An easy mode raid should be what everyone wants, except for those not wanting raids period.

Do you like raids? You should want to see an easy mode as it’ll greatly increase the participation and thus justify further development. There probably would have been a lot more dungeons today if they scaled for 1+.

See WoW. Raiding was originally less than 1% back in the hardcore days prior to WotLK. With LFR, raiding is now completed by the majority, where normal raiding is around 20% and hard mode progression raiding a fraction of that. The simple truth is, most people play for fun, solo and don’t want to waste their time. LFR is just that, where you simply queue up and win. If GW2 offered that, where you could earn the same rewards and just take 10x longer to earn them, it’d certainly be far more popular. To differentiate, actual raids could simply offer different cosmetics, like how SAB TM has colored weapons.

Stop bringing WoW LFR argument. WoW is a Raid Centric game. GW2 is nto a Raid Centric game.

Raids and easy are two oposite things. If you want easy things you look for other things, anyone who like raids dont like easy mode.

And you can see how implementing it is a really bad move just look at wing 4. They introduced two of the easiest bosses you could have. And still the easy mode crowed dont like / dont do it, and almost all the raiders dont like how boring the two first bosses are.
See trying to please everybody ending pleasing nobody. Its a universal truth, people like different things.

So let me rephrase that for you:
“An easy mode raid should be what no one wants, except for those not wanting to raid in the first place period.”

Yes and thats why people want easy mode 100% they dont want to stop after 50% and the raiders want harder 100% they dont want the boring first two bosses so easy mode/ your normal ,our hard mode is what everyone wants.
How can you not see it yet?

[Bug] Stun boon is removed upon daze

in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website

Posted by: Linken.6345

Linken.6345

That is no bug,you should not override your own stuns with a daze, they do not stack and daze + stun is not possible,it’s either daze or stun.Or you wanna see people in perm cc state ?

I think it is legitimate to expect that both may apply concurrently, only one taking precedence, here. Like: not that adding daze to stun extends the duration of the CC, but that both can apply, and if one wears off before the other, the other is still in effect.

Hence you get CC stacking,i doubt this is a bug and it’s meant to be like this.

That seems like an odd definition of stacking; would you also argue that “blind and stun” at the same time is stacking, and one should be removed if the other is applied?

I can see an argument that they should not apply consecutively, but I can’t see why they couldn’t be applied concurrently, just like any other distinct conditions are?

Blind and stun are 2 completely different skills.Stun is a cc,Daze is a cc,Just as launch overrides a knockback the same happens on daze – stun or any other cc besides immob.if i stun you for 3 sec and use a 1 sec knockback/launch/fear/daze right after it. the stun is gone and the 1 sec knockback/launch/fear/daze ( pull i think aswell ) is applied instead so the stacking of different kind of cc’s won’t be able.

So, what is the purpose of stunning an enemy for 3 seconds if you use a skill that has daze and breaks him out of stun? Should one be passive while the target is stun? should one just sit and wait till the stun is gone so that you can use the skill that has the daze?

Please enlighten me because the logic escapes me.

Daze overwriting stun is a bug, and it needs to be fixed.

Yes thats exactly what you should do mate, you have other skills for a reason use skill 1 on mace untill the stun is gone and then daze if that is what you want.

Theres also something to be said of by the time youre actually able to craft the kitten stuff youll probably be able to make 1 set from doing vg/escort and slightly more than that for the last year and a half…

Hardly the “epic challenge” alot of people want to claim raiding is.

also while I could care less if they put the legendary fractal back skin on the raid vendor, im not sure its an accurate comparison. it doesnt take nearly as long to make a back skin, and its taking them to make this armor.

of course Im also probably in the majority, I dont give a crap what it looks like, only going to use it for the minimal use of stat changing and will transmute mine seconds after putting it on anyway.

And how all this is against having more legendary armors in diff parts of the game?

Its not, but if you think theyre going to spend months of design team making new legendary armor skins when its taking them this long to make the first set. Youre delusional.

Which means the only hope you have of getting it in other modes is getting the set that will come from raids. Notice how people are already crying they dont want that to happen.

You can hope for a fractal or wvw or whatever set all you want. Its just an unrealistic expectation sadly. You can feel free to come tell me I was wrong if it ever does happen though…. good luck with that.

Or they could just release blank legendary armor items for fractals, spvp and wvw.

By not keeping the world content difficulty level the same for people who mentally cannot be in groups, was a pretty big slap in the face. The difficulty level being raised in the Fracts, raids and dungeons would have been/should have been enough for the elites who needed the bar raised.

Linken.6345

I’ve unlocked hundreds, if not thousands, of items. So, basically, you want anything in the Wardrobe to be accessible at no cost? Or, just a really, really large bank carried around with each character?

Good luck.

The idea is simple. I don’t know why you guys don’t get it. The gear wallet will allow you to select a weapon with specific stats that you have unlocked. You don’t need a really really large bank to access gear stats. Based on this link https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Equipment_acquisition_by_stats

There are 32 gear stats.

If its so simple then why can’t you use shared inventory slots? These are your exact words below:

This will diversify play and will allow us to experiment with different builds.
Currently, if the gear is account bound, I have to un-equip the gear, send it to the bank, log in with the other toon, have the other toon go to the bank, look for the gear and equip it. SO, if I decide to play with the toon that I removed the gear from, I will have to do the same thing.

Either you are asking to be able to share equipment between characters more easily than going through the bank (which is possible with shared inventory slots), or you are asking for the ability to acquire a piece of equipment one time and have as many copies of it as you could ever want, which is beyond absurd. So which one are you asking for?

Share inventory slots are expensive and do not help at all the cause. I don’t want to move gear from 1 player to another.

Well then bite the bullet and craft more gears for your other characters.

Linken.6345

Again from the top.

The gem shop is the primary source of income for game development 4+ years in as new account key sales drop off rapidly over time after launch. Changes done to the cash shop must be done with minimal costs so sales quickly go toward paying development. This is why we see

  • Bundles
  • Sales
  • Items being removed and returning for a limited time

because all of those things cost virtually nothing yet drive additional sales.

As for new items, development cost must either be at a minimum or the price must be large. It’s been stated repeatedly that at 800 gems, the break even point for armor is too high relative to 700 gem outfits.

Now since the moratorium on new armor in the gem shop, ANet has chosen to keep supporting Fashion Wars with outfits rather than have nothing new at all OR 2000+ gem armor sets. Essentially just like the “Legendary Journeys” for new precursors, a constant flow of new armor sets simply became unsustainable as a source of income.

That and people complained that the only new armor in the begining was released in the gem shop.

So anet said they would release outfits in gem shop and armor in game.

After that we have hardly seen any armors in game and a metric ton of outfits in the gem shop.

Yes you need to equip and unequip them each time even from the shared slots. (easiest done by having copper tools on all your characters so you can just click them when loging in and out)
And yes to second question aswell.

I don’t think you do, Linken. Not unless you’ve maxed out your masteries anyway, then you get XP again.

I know you do since I maxed out my tyria side but havent maxed out my hot one.

Edit
So no you dont need to raid for the tyria side spirit shard.

Lunar New Year firework bonusses

Hi

I have been looking but could not find an answer. So the question is the firework from the Lunar New Year have bonusses, are these bonusses available during the hole year. Or only when Lunar New Year Festival is running.

the exp bonus is year round but the bonus magic find is only during the lunar new year so roughly 1-2weeks

I see this on the consumables, there it states “+xx% Magic Find during Lunar New Year”. But dont see this on the fireworks.

You are correct I mixed them together since it dont say anything it works year round.

And if your XP is maxed out and don’t raid, your XP bar is never going to move again no matter how many boosters you apply, (or booster weekends per your suggestion) until you attempt what Anet requires you do (if you want to unlock the XP bar progress).
I’ve made a choice not to raid, so XP progress is one area of the game that I don’t experience any more unless I start a new toon.

Yes in one of the regions (hot expansion zones) you should however still gain exp in core tyria mate.

You forgot revenant so it would be 30 skills not 25 mate

No, that was absolutely wanted, because I don’t want Revenants with Spear as one of their Base Weapons. Rather as something for their Elite Specs instead.

Oh and here I thought you took all the classes that had spear underwater and gave it to them on land my bad.

Hey guys, about AB “fix” does that means that we can’t loot on others maps anymore?all we can do now is run one map per event?

Yes thats exactly what it means.

Hm thanks, well that “simple fix” changes everything,AB is just worthless to do now.

No not really just more in line with the rest of the game, you just got used to the easy looting it have provided for so long mate.

If Anet would want to do something to “please us” right now – to follow on on one earlier posting of somebody else a few sites ago, then they wouldn’t work right now on a next Living World Episode…

A Feature Pack that does these things for example:

  • Rework/Rebalance of the whole Upgrade System + Change to Accountbound & Introduction of Build Templates & Ascended Upgrades/Lvl500 Jeweler)
  • Rework/Rebalance/Reduction of the whole Boon & Condition System to maximum 8 Boons/Conditions
  • Implementation of the whole Season 1 Content under the Season 2 System with new Achievements and some added new “Mass” Fractals (Marionette Fractal, Lion Arch Fractal, Scarlet Fractal) designed as “Time Distortions/Asura Time Portals” to access them from the fitting maps, so that the game becomes again complete and isn#t anymure such a big cheese full of self made design holes
  • Merging of Staff+Trident as 1 Weapon Type & Merging of Rifle + Harpoon Gun as 1 Weapon Type, while making Spear now a Hybrid Weapon usable on land and in water.
Means introduction of some new Spear Skills for Classes that will be able to use from that moment on the Spear as one of their Base Weapons – Warrior, Guardian, Thief, Ranger, Necromancer – so 25 new Skills
  • Rework of the Crafting System with some neccessary Quality of Life Improvements
    - Removing Recipes
    - Implemention of Craft all Units Instantly to reduce the needed time to craft all units
    - Craftable Items automatically unlocked by rising up in Crafting Rank, Max Rank reduced from 500 to 50
    - Increased Crafting Exp Bonus for other Characters on your account, so more Characters max their Crafting Job, Removal of Crafting Boosters, Introduction of accountbased Crafting Exp Bonus based on your AP
    - Implementation of new Crafting/Gathering Jobs – Fishing, Digging, Gardening (req. Angling Rod/Lures, Shovel, Seeds)
  • Implementation of Player Housing based on the Guild Hall System/ Rework of the Player Instance for this
  • Fitting Skill and Trait Rebalance based on the made Changes on the Upgrade and Boon&Condition Systems as also the the added Skills from Spear for Land Combat and the next point…
  • Give All Classes their missing Skills from certain Skill Types, example Thief receiving a Elite Signet Skill, Elite Trap Skill and Healing Trap Skill, so that all Classes have finally for all of their Skill Types fitting Healing, Utility and Elite Skills.
  • Add Skill Skins to the Game, so that we can individualize our Characters more, especially funny for the Classes that can summon things.
You want different looking Minions, different looking Elementals, different looking Spiritual Weapons, different looking Pets, different looking Natural Spirits ect. then this Feature will make you happy
  • Implementation of DX11 at least

Stuff like these in a Feature pack would please me for example exceptionally much more, than any Living World Content they could bring in February, which is just new story content that becomes boring after short time, but brings this game in NO WAY further at all.

You forgot revenant so it would be 30 skills not 25 mate

Bags in Bags in Bags...?

Linken.6345

I am starting to feel a bit overwhelmed by the ammount of clicking I have to do after completing an event like the Dragon’s Stand Meta (assuming I have enough bag space to not do the clicking mid event to clear up space)..

Every time you complete an event or kill a champion, you receive “Champion Bags”. Not just one type either but usually five or six, and sometimes in 4 different rarities.

Some stack, others don’t.
Some look the same, have the same name, but are from different sources so they don’t stack, while others from different sources do stack, and all in all it’s just too confusing to me to keep track of.

Is there any way of cleaning this up? Like make all Exotic “Heirloom Seed Pouch” stack with eachother no matter if they dropped from a Plant, a Sylvari, or a Mordrem, concidering they all have the same loot table?

Also, please stop putting bags in bags in bags.. I open a Veteran Wyvern Cache only to receive a Thorned Cache, and I open that only to receive a Heavy Loot Bag. It’s getting a bit ridiculous, and wearing my mouse buttons out for no (apparent) reason.

And back to the stacking, even though it’s not a loot bag; The Level Boosters from Year 1 and 2 gifts, please make them stack.. Please! They look the same, they have the same name, they do the same thing.. Again the only difference is their source (First- or Second Year gifts).

There are multiple versions of bags cause they all have multiple versions of loot tables.
Champ bags for example have unique exotics from eachother.

As for birthday scrolls im pretty sure they are different. One scroll brings your character to lvl 20, the 2nd scroll brings it to lvl 30, the next one to lvl 40.

Also imagine there were no bags at all and you just get swarmed with greens, yellows and tons of various mats all at once? Youd be visiting your salvage /deposit all buttons fairly more frequently instead of “once after dragon stand event ends”

Your abit wrong on the scrolls first 20 second 20 third 30 fourth 40

Order IV:
Defending History Informing the Future Achievements: 1 Mastery Points
To Know the Unknown Achievements: 1 Mastery Points
Some Must Fight That All May be Free Achievements: 1 Mastery Points

these are one for each of the 3 orders can only be got once

Thank you for pointing that out. I didn’t notice each of those belongs to a different order. however I was expecting someone else point it out.

I corrected the post

Your welcome it can be hard to know witch ones your counting without you putting it up so exactly as you did in the last post.
Were I did spot it, since I thought something completely diffrent in the other thread about the subject =)

when will we see changes to mastery system?

From the Wiki: ‘Note that for the Hero achievements, a mastery point is only awarded the first time a player completes the personal story arc for that level…’.

Again, only 8 Mastery Points for the Personal Story, as there are 8 and only 8 Level Arcs.

I think bob counting world completion and getting to 80 twice in their calculations since they are both under hero.
And then the second time for them selfs.

No sir,

Please follow this link Core Tyria Mastery points

I put those two in their own group

Yes I have answered you in that one now.
