Mainly because I can see my transmuted legendary is sellable on a merchant, and it’s the same price as the exotic. This means the detection of value is an exotic, not legendary.
In 1 bloody go. Imagine clicking 5000 pots. Gosh. Are you trying to break our fingers? We seriously need a drink all the pots in 1 go function.
Edit: Since karma is going to be unaffected by anything in the future, why not just give the karma points straight to us instead of bottling it?

Haven’t seen the ’don’t kill champ captain, it spawns continuous champs’ on chat yet, but I disagree with the TC.
I find fun in farming champs, it’s pretty dolyak obvious farming SHOULD produce the largest source of income to players who want to get gold (the players who refuse to do otherwise shouldn’t complain about not receiving the kitten pie, since the pie is there for you to take.), and ANet can easily equalize defeat scarlet = mass champ loot farm, and I’m sure players would be okay with finishing an event rather than “kill more champ loots”.
Before I start on the topic, I just want to write a paragraphs on what I think about the complaints on champs.
- Say no to DR.
I read about the recent complaints on wanting to nerf champ loots, and I find it completely ludicrous that people actually want a DR on it. Why do you people want to fault other people for “farming” as long as they like? And that number of thumbs up? It’s the collective voices of the majority trying to suppress the minority.
Some people do find fun in “Farming”. I find fun in opening all those boxes and getting happy over an exotic, where it almost never drops from the regular mobs. That is all.
ANet’s changes to the rewards (more gold/tokens to dungeon runs, more rewards from JP, more rewards to DEs), should more than easily compensate the fact that players with limited time to play can’t get their basic ascended materials when it comes in. Why are you focused on trying to limit the source of income instead of asking for it to be equalized?
- Fixing the solution to bad behavior of not rezzing dead players.
Now, moving on the main problem about champ events farming. The biggest problem comes from the biggest servers. As the blobs from the top population serves move around, the champs scale up so high that they mow down everyone, and TO TAG them you need to deal a certain amount of damage.
The reason why people don’t bother to revive people? Because you can’t GET the loot if you don’t tag that champ. So instead of fixing anything else, ANet should fix the code to do a certain damage threshold and receive loot. Everyone can receive their loot and people will be kind and helpful. The mechanics of ANet drives players’ urgency to get the loot (I must do a minimum of 5% mob HP to tag it), not the other way around (where I must kill champs as fast as I can possibly can to get to the loot).
If you take a look at the ember farm, whenever the champs aren’t up, players tend to start raising dead people.
How people seem to miss this point just makes me raise my eyebrows.

To report griefers? I had to use “Botter” as a report excuse, do I need to file a customer support ticket for this?

Also, it’s the process of acquiring an item. If I took 100 hours in GW2 to acquire a weapon, I don’t want GW1 users to acquire a GW2 lookalike freebie for free in 1 mouse click. It’s galling.
You fail to realize that for those skins, GW1 players went out and worked for in GW1, on ANets stated promise of receiving rewards for it in GW2. This wasn’t just some free hand-out or an afterthought on ANet’s end. Players (and devs) were ever since EotN released entirely cognizant of this fact.
I know it is hard to appreciate for someone who never was immersed in that environment, but achieving the “GWAMM” title alone kept people hooked on GW1 for a long time, often years, after the last expansion for it was released and content development basically ceased save for two content arcs in 2010 and 2011.
If it wasn’t for us keeping the game alive in those intervening years, working on their GWAMM, working on their HoM, working on those GW2 rewards, who knows in what place GW2 might be now? I’m sure the hype would have been much less. So, Wolfie, concisely you need to realize two things. 1) GW1 vets aren’t asking for new handouts, they’re merely asking for an update to an existing one, which is entirely unrelated to the new Lord Taere’s Shadow save for the the fact that the inclusion of LTS has shown that they’re willing to improve upon Fellblade’s design. This makes it just a natural request that they take a look at their previous HoM design. You’re shrill and irrational in your opposition to this.
2) You are in no place to tell GW vets that their rewards are just “free” hand-outs. They’re trophies of loyalty and hundreds of hours of dedication.
1) Things that were cleared up for me was the subtle differences between Fiery Dragon Sword and Jormag’s breath (I have never liked the fact that GW1 users got a free 100G identical sword, until I found out that the models are different). To me, TC was trying to get the Fellblade to be an identical model copy of Lord Taeres’s Shadow (Same size + same particles OR same size + Old effect), both of which I am against redesigning for.
My agreement is retaining the same size model + old effects. We’re on the wrong page, that I will agree on.
2) This argument gets tiresome, but GW1 vets have 0 rights to prevent me from saying that I’m against whatever. This is my point, if you want something in GW2, spent time on GW2. You got your fellblades in GW1, not GW2.
IF anet gives you anything for getting something in a different game, I won’t say anything else but that’s (mostly) the end of the line. Saying something about trophies of loyalty and stuff make me roll my eyes, seeing not everyone in GW1 got them for the reason of getting goodies in GW2.
Simple question, Yes or No, and somewhat.
Yes.
Once again you don’t seem to understand what I’m angry about. ANet has rewarded your loyalty and given you free weapon skins. What you want here in GW2 is a unique effect from GW1 OR give you GW2’s NEW weapon effects. If I get 10000 achievement points in GW2, do I get GW1 weapons, skins, achievements?
NO.
And we don’t want our weapons being handed out like candy with improved effects. Why is that so hard to understand? You can keep Lord Taeres’ Shadow, but what’s bullkitten is that it’s modeled after the Fellblade and has a much better effect, you don’t see anything wrong with that? There’s no balance here like with the FDS and Jormag’s Breath! What are the HoM weapons, disposable blueprints for future GW2 weapons? Might as well copy the Fiery Dragon Sword and make the hilt itself out of flames with fiery foot prints, or the legendary focus “The Minstrel” with better effects that can be obtained as an exotic weapon through boss loot.
If I earned my things in GW2, I expect it to be EXCLUSIVE content to GW2. Yet GW1 users with their “I played 7 years and 4000 hours in GW1” expect THEIR rewards to carry forward in GW2? If you earned your Jormag’s breath, congratulations, I didn’t have a problem with that. I also DON’T have a problem with Anet’s fiery dragon sword given to you, but getting anymore from Anet is just plain greedy (Wants exclusive unique effect that cannot be found in GW2 weapons OR effect from NEW weapon skins).
Nobody asked for the Hall of Monument rewards, those were added in 2010 after 3 years of Eye of the North being out. This was ArenaNet’s decision, not ours. It’s a shame that they’re taking HoM weapons and improving them. If they decide to do this when a “Guild Wars 3” comes out, they’ll do it and it is up to you whether you want to ignore them or earn them. If you do, I would like to read your opinions about future GW3 players getting improved versions of those weapons after how hard you’ve worked for inferior versions of them.
Yes, yes, I changed my mind after reading your post, thank you very much.
Quite frankly, I rather have a clean sheet in acquiring GW3 stuff. Everyone starts off with the same ground, if you want my opinion. If it’s inferior, I’ll just get the better ones, what is there to complain about? It’s GW3 stuff anyway.
Also, it’s the process of acquiring an item. If I took 100 hours in GW2 to acquire a weapon, I don’t want GW1 users to acquire a GW2 lookalike freebie for free in 1 mouse click. It’s galling.
(edited by LoneWolfie.1852)
Hi LoneWolfie, I think you’re COMPLETELY missing the point and it shows.
You know, lots of people like to point out how Jormag’s Breath or what was known in GW1 as the Icy Dragon Sword is quite similar to the Fiery Dragon Sword, but both have their differences:
- The Fiery Dragon Sword and Jormag’s Breath both have different draconian hilts, Jormag’s Breath having a bulkier dragon head as a hilt than the Fiery Dragon Sword.
- The Fiery Dragon Sword also has a longer fire effect than Jormag’s Breath, clipping into the ground.
- The Fiery Dragon Sword and Jormag’s Breath have different colored flames AND both existed in GW1, while Lord Taeres’ Shadow didn’t.
So both weapons, though similar, are equal when it comes to appearance even with subtle differences. None are neglected and left in the dust while the the other is improved. The Fiery Dragon Sword is fine where it is, unless you consider the flames that clip onto the ground, then you could argue that the Fiery Dragon Sword needs to be fixed or that Jormag’s Breath needs a boost in flame length.
Lord Taeres’ Shadow is basically a resized Fellblade with a purple design slapped on the blade (which NOBODY has an issue with btw, get over it) and a more prominent effect that looks quite similar to the concept art of the GW2 HoM Fellblade reward. Nobody would have an issue with this if both swords were on par with eachother effect-wise, which they aren’t.
As we see it, they basically left the Fellblade complaints to rot in page 1,000 while giving this brand spanking new blade better effects, using the same shape of the Fellblade, same hilt, same everything but that purple design. This could become a slippery slope, next thing you’ll see is a purple Living Short Bow or a red Seathunder Pistol both having effects tied to them while their HoM counterparts don’t. Same shape of the pistol/bow, same fish/woman, same leaves/scales, just different colors and 1 having an effect while the other has a barely recognizable effect/no effect at all.
Nobody gives a kitten if there are counterparts to the HoM weapons in the game as long as both are on par with eachother. Let’s take the Diamond Aegis Shield for example. There are two variations of this shield in GW1 known as the Amber Aegis and the Iridescence Aegis. If ArenaNet decides to make those drop in-game, they have to take as much time working on those shields as they did on the Diamond Aegis and vice versa, or else what was the point of the HoM rewards if they’re all inferior copies of their aesthetically-superior GW2 counterparts?
If you feel copying the same exact effect the Lord Taeres’ Shadow weapon on a HoM Fellblade is bad, then you and I share the same discomfort, just different sides. The solution would be to make the HoM Fellblade look like it did in the first Guild Wars game (appearance provided on one of OP’s videos). That way both will be on par with eachother and look different enough to not be considered copies of eachother, with the Fellblade being a disposable rough draft of Lord Taeres’ Shadow.
No entitlement, just protecting what we worked so hard for. ArenaNet released the Eye of the North expansion with the Hall of Monuments in it. ArenaNet were the ones that released the Hall of Monuments rewards calculator in October, 2010. Now they’re reskinning weapons and leaving their HoM counterparts behind? How productive.
Also don’t feel left out, you can still buy GW1 and earn points for the HoM stuff, but save your money if this is the road ArenaNet is taking when it comes to those items.
Now this post has information that I didn’t know. Thank you for the clear insight and pointing out the differences between the dragon swords, and explaining that the Lord Taeres’s shadow is using a Fellblade’s model (I merely thought they looked similar and kept thinking that Taeres’s is a new weapon and HoM users wanted that.).
I now agree that the Fellblade in GW2 compared to the Fellblade in GW1 is indeed lacking (after the detailed explanation), and with the explanation and rationale given by the above poster, believe that the current Fellblade should have all particles removed, and given the effect of “Moving shadows” back in GW1.
PS: I would just still like to point out that there the Fellblade complaints most likely didn’t exist, at least I could not find it through google.

You keep saying “You haven’t lifted a finger in GW2”. Ok try this one out. My main is a dual sword warrior dual-wielding Jormag’s Breath and the Fiery Dragon Sword. Guess what? I farmed for that sword for weeks. I earned it. I lifted many fingers to get it.
Not only that, but I play this game every day, have almost 8k achievement points (showing you that I obviously play the game and the living story events), and have 9 level 80s with 3 more on the way.
So please tell me more about how I’m entitled and don’t lift a finger in GW2. Because that’s obviously so relevant to me requesting that a sword animation (From a GW1 sword) be updated to reflect the original sword from GW1.
Don’t mention the fact that on top of my GW2 achievements and play time, I spent the better part of 7 years (over 4k hours total in-game time) to earn 50/50 in my HoM. Not that that has anything to do with GW2 – but Anet said we’d be rewarded and they rewarded us. So stop calling us entitled when we didn’t ASK for anything, they were being generous and rewarded loyal players. So before you continue to repeat yourself saying that we are entitled, greedy, and don’t earn anything, why not take a second to ask yourself and really think… “Do I know a single thing about the people I’m flaming here?”
Can’t wait to hear what kind of reply you give. Needless to say it will have the words ‘greed’ & ‘entitlement’.
Once again you don’t seem to understand what I’m angry about. ANet has rewarded your loyalty and given you free weapon skins. Once again, if you read the OP you’d see that I’m requesting 1 of 2 things. I’d prefer if they just made it back to its GW1 appearance which I have a video for. If not, if that isn’t doable or whatever the case may be, I’d like to see it at the very least updated to match the smoke effect of the new 1h reskin.
We’re not mocking GW2 players. In fact I’ve put well over 2,000 hours into this game already and me playing 7 years of GW1 (you know that game that sorta kinda funded GW2? Yeah that game?) has nothing to do with that.
The fact remains that the weapon we got in GW2 was miles behind what it should have been from the start and many were disappointed with it day 1. We all thought “Well it’s beta surely they’ll change it.” They never did so here I am suggesting that they revisit the subject and update it.
Next thing I know you will be asking for better upgrades on fiery dragon sword, the counterpart of Jormag’s breath which is basically a free 100 g sword given to you (perhaps it is even more prized than Jormag’s breath itself as a colored sword.).
Once again I cannot believe what GW1 players are asking for. You are effectively asking for a sword that just came out from the latest patch, and I’m sure this rub people off the wrong way. It’s not as if playing GW2 itself will award me with GW1 rare weapons, achievements and various contents! If Anet did something like that, I won’t complain about it, but until then NO.
(edited by Moderator)
You spent time to rightfully get an item that’s in GW1, not GW2. Did you spend XX hours or XX gold to get it in GW2? Nope. So why should you get an effect where users have to spend a copious amount of time in GW2 to get Lord Taeres’s shadow sword effects?
no i spent time to get an item that is in guild wars 2 that should have looked like the one in guild wars 1 to begin with.
the few people i have seen with lord Taeres shadow sword want the sword because its a one handed fellblade, you know how the fellblade should have been in the first place. not because its a rare sword or hard to get, they want it because the fellblade in game looks like crap.
You didn’t earn anything in GW2. Not a single thing. You only got your fancy fellblade because you had HOM points. And the fact that you answered your own question where people had to spend hours and hours in GW2, while GW1 users get a free pass to unique content that belongs to GW2 already answers it.
We spent effort and time to get the Lord Taeres’s shadow sword model and effects. GW1 players did not spend time in GW2 and demand to get the same effects of the weapon in GW2?
If you want that particular shadow effect from the Lord Taeres’s sword, go out to GW2 Tyria, play the content, and get that effect either through killing champion mobs or buying it with gold.

1) I am against the increase of spawn timers.
2) DR is something that I’m utterly against.
3) If DEs have loot equivalent to the farming champions, we wouldn’t see an outbreak of angry farmers not getting their loot.
You see what happens when anet made their game grindy? This is in part of anet’s fault. If everyone had their own form of equivalent loot gain, I’m sure there’s nothing to complain about, everyone gets their slice of pie.
But you’re trying to remove the pie from someone’s hands? Of course they will get angry. I rather anet made it that doing whatever you want, DEs, dungeons, farming champs = more or less same reward (but harder events/dungeons can get more reward).
Asking for a DR precedent is one of the worst things to players in general.
If this topic had been out since the start of the game, it would have been a valid request and not because of some jealousy towards the new shiny in-game weapon. If it had been inadequate in the first place then you should have came into the forums to “demand” for it like what you’re doing right now.
Why is it that a new shiny weapon that requires effort in GW2 (over 25 hours unless it’s RNG luck) is awarded to a GW1 player where he didn’t need to spend effort and time in GW2?
If it’s not enough with the achievement points, the titles, and the fiery dragon sword, you demand more shiny? I’m not sure why playing 7 years in GW1 should net you some form of respect in GW2 or entitlement of a shiny new effect, when they are two completely different games.
I can only say that spending 75 g on the new weapon and having people to farm endlessly for that weapon… I would not want the GW1 HOM players getting the same reward just because they played GW1.
I completely disapprove of this topic.
Better thank anet for improving the economy rather than complain about this. Users are richer now with lots of mats + money and you still complain? Darn people… darn…
I think my problem was not being able to pull after a certain range. I also changed into DP build because the damage from it is higher than SP, also with blinds it is far easier to avoid killshot.
My build goes into basilisk venom/skale with venomous strength trait, cast it prebattle.
Rotations are
F1 (casts venoms) > 5 > 2 > ambush trap > 1 (backstab) > 5 > 2 auto chains > 5 > casts scorpion wires as you see fit.
Hopefully there are no more nerfs to arena. Everytime I see anet I think of nerf.
Crown Pavillion is a farmers paradise. Lodestones and T6 mats from destroyers. Bags of T6 mats from bandits, pirates and ogres. High drop rate for rares. Integrated magic find and a least two champions per five minutes.
However people would rather abuse the new champ loot system so events and champions all see a nerf rather than farm the area the was placed there specifically to farm.
I think there is a subtle point here Anet is trying to prove after all of the excuses that events are only sabotaged because farming areas a nerfed. And that is, it doesn’t matter how much they can give us legitimately, if players can abuse something to get more then they will. Even if it is to the detriment of the developers, game and community.
‘Farmers paradise’ is a bit wrong. I frown heavily on ANet’s blanket nerf tactics, i.e, sweeping away Lyssa, nerfing pentinent, plinx, and even old ones like Frostgorge troll area farming. Oh, yes, I remember what the devs do. When the economy started to inflate higher and higher because supply was shrinking from the lootless mobs, they introduced southsun cove.
After the event was over, loot was starting to be scarce once again and the next few patches introduced ‘high dropping’ loot farm (which is actually pretty much a false thing, T6 mats are still very annoying to get), to regulate the economy. More and more people started going about to go to the area to kill things.
And finally, I ask you what’s the point of sweatshop farming?
How many hours can you stand doing this 6 rotations run about? 1 hour of milling about there where your loot is maybe 200 bags per hour? How many bags do you need to fill up your bank? 15000 bags? That means you have to do it for 75 hours non stop without a single break. Maybe 100 hours of repeating the kitten cycle.
And don’t forget you have DR.
Each time I see anet come up with some sort of poop MF event for farming, I really want to smack my table.
That being said, I really don’t like such players in-game exploiting a DE (even though I don’t blame them, they really are starved for better loot). I absolutely agree a nerf should be done, where champs appear once or twice and that’s it. You already have lots of champs and the speed of getting a single chest isn’t that bad either.
But sweatshop farming? Isn’t that supposed to be what DEs give out?
(edited by LoneWolfie.1852)
Is there a specific timing? I failed to pull him multiple times.
Approximately 15-20 hours in into the champ train, my total mats for T5 was about 450+ across the board, while T6 was reasonably scarce and distributed, maybe 5-10+ each for all of them. Gold gain was at the very least 1.5 g per hour, while frostgorge proved to be a 2.5g-3.5g per hour, excluding sales of t6 mats.
Everything aside, about 40g was made + 23g (cobalt) = 63 g with 450 mats etc, which really isn’t a lot. I know some users got more with crystal guardians/precursors/entropy, but that’s RNG.
Now besides the call for COF p1 rerun nerf, here’s the list of other things users find an issue with.
1) Dynamic Events take a hit in completion.
Back then, Lyssa farm got hit with the nerf stick because some users wanted to complete the event (?) getting a chest. Which was incomprehensible to me, because I completed all that daily chest events in total of 100 times for the past few months. And we (majority of players who stay behind) all know we are doing the events for a reward, and not for fun’s sake.
Now, I’m not saying the users are wrong, it’s simply because GW2’s loot is completely and utterly dismal. I won’t be able to run around doing dynamic events because it rewards me. I have done that event one too many times, to be even remotely interested in it being fun.
I would think half of the players that stay behind in GW2 is because they want to have a certain shiny weapon or legendary, not because gw2 devs produced something that’s fun.
Now, I personally like completing events, but again, the loot is utterly rubbish. If anet devs actually rewarded completing events with the rewards of the current champ train, everyone will praise the generous system and balanced rewards. But that’s probably undoable with the bots.
2) Economy meltdown
Yes and no. Prices are dropping for T5 because the champs reward it a lot. T6 mats hardly broke a sweat, save for the rare lodestones where the unshakable 3g lodestones finally went to 2.15g. Powerful bloods remain at 30 silvers, armored scaled remained at 25 silvers.
There will be no change in T6 mats.
In my mind, it was a chance that ANet devs didn’t get to do. Imagine mini-legendaries. Instead of a direct weapon drop like entropy, it should be a craftable weapon in your weaponsmithing/huntsman/etc.
In example
Dark orb of X (Description of dark orb: This orb seems to pulse with malice and can be melded into a weapon, account bound) + 250 T5 mats + 25 T6 mats (putrid essence) + 25 T6 mats (powerful blood) = Entropy.
Balanced way of solving economy issue, and making use of your profession.
But for the most part, churning out events every 2 weeks is an overwhelming rush, and it’s just a suggestion on my part for future weapons, if any. I also don’t think the intake of 2-3 gold per hour will break the economy as well.
3) Disgruntled players.
Oh god, yes so much. Let me just say the whining on both ends irk me. Some of the most incredulous talk about time gating the champs, 1 chest per day, makes me think that this bugger has legendary weapons and doesn’t want to share on the wealth.
Then again, some of the champ train players who accuses dynamic event players of disrupting the gold farm with profanities doesn’t please me either.
I want this loot system. But I don’t want to see such irritating talk in map chat where it breaks the fun element.
4) Champ train is darn boring.
So after that southsun cove sweatshop farming, we gain another sweatshop crown pavillion. I am not pleased to be stuck in 6 farm areas that’s not even disguised as a sweatshop farming. Jesus. So ANet refuses to put back the CS events, and instead come up with all sort of enticing things like 150% mf in the area.
This is about as farmy as you can get. Entire thing is a grind. I see no difference in going to deadeye spamming 5 gambits and then beating the crap out of him with cof p1 warrior.
Champ train boring? I did about 20 hours of almost amicable train loop where we are both envious and happy for those who got their exotic drops they wanted. I doubt the farmers are bored with what they get. Even casuals can stop any time they want to.
Do I think champ train should be nerfed? Yes.
Unfortunately, this is just getting silly. Going around to do 6 champs day in day out, goes to show how utterly terrible Anet loot system is. One darn fine day after the respawn timer is changed, some ingenious commanders will go around the entire Tyria map leading a guild zerg to do all the champs.
This can’t be the solution either. DEs has to be more rewarding. If ANet manages to combine DEs + Champ loop = current state of loot drops, Tyria will be more lively, instead of the stagnant farm train going about.
My 2 coppers.
Edit: Oops. Please nuke this 7 months old topic. And guys stop posting. I just realized and edited my post accordingly.
Account bound WXP yes, remove siege damage yes. Did you see how many arrow carts are used?
The obstruction problem is kitten annoying.
Looks like anet wants us to be participating as blind contestants. I can’t see the red aoes properly, the camera angles are kitten useless, and all I can say is this final boss is more puts the entire gauntlet thing as unfun. Thank you anet.
(edited by LoneWolfie.1852)
You implement the system you describe and these skins suddenly lose any value. We don’t need these skins flooding the market. Rarity is good.
How the heck does it lose any value? Same drop rate of material X (equivalent to the weapon drops right now) + recipe drop (100% drop rate along with material X) + some additional mats, = skin flooding the market? You assumed wrongly. If anything the material put in will add into the cost of making such a weapon.
Correct me if I’m wrong, the new weapons dropping from the mobs… come from the chest right?
The chests should give out recipe + part of weapon (imagine precursor), and you should craft it under a specific profession. That way it uses your crafting profession and makes it like you accomplish something through your craft.
For the most part GW2 seems to be quite good right now, but I’ll still look on with skeptical eyes on what anet does next. Every time someone finds a nice spot to farm, anet tends to go crazy with the nerf bat.
I find it funny that MG wears different kinds of spectacles. Here are the screenshots when the SEA commander got into the NA timing and led for 40+ minutes. While some of the stupid NA PUGs refused to listen to the commander, for the most parts, Mag got slapped silly. (Thanks for the exotic drop by mag.)
FA got referred to as bags, and every time the EB SEA commander attacked them, they fled (we even ran into overtime where it was 3 AM on SEA side, and nearly 12 pm on the server’s time), and everyone was upset at FA for running away.
(Guess who is JQ supposed to be?)
All I see in those screenshots is you behind walls under ac and cannon cover. GG JQ SEA
You mean the fact we ambushed Mag for entering SM, yeah. Mag got flatlined. Mag tried to portal bomb us as well, you got wiped and we pushed you back to the bridge. It’s called a strategical move. You can’t blame us for playing better than you.

Congrats, you’ve earned my pure, unending hatred. I’ve played for probably very close to 3000 hours, thrown everything I owned into the mystic forge 4 times (I threw every single exotic/rare I had ever owned down the MF, and then bought 400 gold worth of rares to toss in 4 times as well which totaled about 1,600 gold), and I never, ever got a single precursor. Time to play Diablo 3 where I can actually win and not be bombarded with RNG for the rest of my life. Yes, isn’t that sad that I have more luck in D3, a game that was famous for its terrible drop rates?
Lesson? Buy a precursor. 1600 gold = 3-4 precursors. You throw MF only if you want to gamble.
I can’t believe JQ is still in here talking about points, and how good they are. Anyways here is 18 minutes of video from last night where JQ showed [DERP] just how good they are.
The only time JQ has a chance of winning a fight that isn’t at least a 2:1 situation is when they are on those AC’s and Cannon’s. One guy was on the north cannon of SM last night for at least 4 hours.
As for the JQ who said they beat PYRO on EBG last night, this is what I saw while I was there, don’t know what happened after this, PYRO mumble can give you a headache fast with that many people in it. Thx for the bags though.
There’s the problem. 15+ of the fairweather NA pugs refused to stick to the commander, and even the commander sighed at them in teamspeak. I was in that battle and the battles prior to that and I didn’t die once, and killed at least 100 of you guys during the maguuma feeble walk around SM. The quality of the commander leading/PUGs in NA is less than desirable, and I already admit that (feel free to correct me EB JQ NA, show me your leadership). I’ll post screenshots of flatlined FA/Maguuma players, but it’s 3 am on my side so I’ll do it when I wake up.
And if you want to complain about golems, complain about Anet giving arrow carts that ridiculous damage buff where even PVT geared players go down quickly. The kettle calls the pot black, when your Anz towers started using siege defence to chase JQ back, quite laughable.

JQ has been tainted by tier 1. Back in the day they were the top dog and a boat load of really bad players looking for an free ride went there to ride coat tails. Being that they barely know how to use buttons other than F to hit resource nodes, or 1 to auto attack, they didn’t even notice skill lag until it was “a thing”.
With this extremely high amount of bad players running together on a server, their good players also became soft and average.
In order to make up for their apparent lack of abilities, they learned to spam zones with golems and allow their SEA coverage keep them in tier 1 since nobody below them can match that coverage gap.
Blinded by this fact, and too scared to gvg to show any real prowess, they continue their self praise when getting their first win in months.
Yes, the sad story of JQ continues, and will most likely continue for some time. BG and SOR will continue to farm them and keep them in lemming mode, and the rest of us will watch in amazement, shaking our heads with pity.
GvG? I think none of the JQ SEA commanders do that. More like G vs Server, I keep seeing Waha attacking one of the servers every day to disrupt the score (almost influencing BG/SOR getting number 1 in score), while EB mainly captures and holds SM from the SOR/BG hordes.
The fairweather EU-NA PUGs are coming out to get their map completion, which I agree their quality is atrocious. If you say JQ NA is T2, I think that statement isn’t off the mark, but it’s a whole different beast when it comes to SEA, where there’s both quality and quantity, and quite possibly the best SEA force on all the servers.
If there are more EU server time coverage, JQ will be well on its way to number 1.
Honestly I tried JQ NA’s time and 1/2 to 3/4 of the PUGs there are running around like headless chickens or slow to respond. No wonder JQ SEA people have to clean up your mess. And thanks for the bags in EB today (around 50), PYRO, you got flatlined by one of the SEA commander. I think you are better than a few of the NA leaders, but you are still weaker in quality compared to the SEA leaders.

If the people are griefing because of wasting a full keep supply + ALL the towers supplies OR collective troll guild members suiciding golems, how do you report them? Help us here anet, sticky up on where to report griefers.
Is it game breaking? Why not give 2 sigil slots to GS/Staff/Bow/ETC?
I post this long ago, but maybe players need to learn the truth behind glass cannons. The glass cannon thieves are gimmicks that die when they get caught. You can kill that “invisible thief” with a glass cannon XXX profession, just see how I killed the invisible thieves.
(This video was created when Anet thought it was a good idea to have thieves get their stealth revealed to 4 seconds.)
I don’t want to enter in this topic, but posting a video of you not being capable to land a single HS on a guardian, probably with a lot of toughness, when he’s at low health proves nothing at all.
You mean where heartseeker randomly fails to hit when the enemy is moving about without using dodge/blind on me? You guys should be happy when we miss and waste our init.
Anyone still have that video where 2 elementalists vs 20+ players, where the 2 eles managed to kill a number of them?
Ooo, that’s really close to what I want to see, but it’s still missing the feathers, looks like I need to ask in LA/PvP.
Uhh, maybe I wasn’t clear enough… I don’t just want to see the preview of the weapon, I want to see the in-game model where someone wields it and possibly screenshot an image where the feathers fall off.

OP for some reason your post made me laugh really hard, not in the sarcastic manner but I just find your style of writing to be oddly funny. Maybe it was the aptly done snark. Thumbs up.
Sounds like the devs will change it. Try posting in “game discussion”.
Wings of dwayna/Dwayna bows (pvp)/The lover.
I want to see how the feathers appear in-game.
The reason for this is because Anet isn’t coming up with a reliable way to make a precursor. Once there’s a way to do it, the price for the coins will go up. Do not forget that anet wants to do more legendary weapons, and they promised a way to craft a precursor.
They are already in use for legendary making, I don’t see why you need more recipes for it.
I fed probably 200 exotics + 1500 rares before getting the lover (the exotics upgraded to the lover, no luck on rares.)
7000 GS spent, 0 precursor, used all the exotics I gained and upgraded it into dawn.
Rares doesn’t seem to have any luck with me.
I spent 100 skill points and got approximately 10 mystic clovers while the rest are mats. IMO it’s a pretty fun way of getting mats rather than spamming melandru events.
Is it really hard to do compared to putting in 1 token at a time?
You guys still aren’t fixing this bug? Jade Quarry’s melandru event is down again (Magister doesn’t activate and move to the first signal beacon).
