They just do too many things too well. They have fantastic mobility aswell as sustain. They can easily peel for teammates aswell as sticking to an enemy. The issue I have with Revs is that their skills just do too much.

Look at Riposting Shadows: Dodge, Endurance Gain, Stunbreak, gap closer aswell as soft cc removal. No cooldown outside of Energy cost.

Same things with staff 5 and sword 3, them being evades aswell as the HUGE dmg dealing skills they are in 1v1 fights its absurd if you ask me.

I would also like for Precision strike to get an overall dmg nerf of 15% aswell as only fire 1 projectile so that its dodge-able. This way, its stronger in teamfights when focusing a target down but is dodge-able in 1v1s.

The single most annoying thing in this game when playing ele is; Popping your air overload (which is also the only dmg we have atm). Get the aura from it only to have revs hit us proccing the stun on themselves proceeded by taunting us for 3 seconds.

This is so intruiging. I love Revenant posts.

Aaaanyway, I’d be fine with adding a cooldown to Riposting Shadows and/or removing one of the aspects about the skill. Either the Evade, Soft CC cleanse or Endurance Gain.
Completly rework Eye for an Eye. This trait is just so incredibly anti-fun. Play an ele, overloading air for the Shock Aura to have a Revenant hit you and taunt you cause he got stunned is the single most annoying thing this game has to offer.

I would also like for Unrelenting Assault to not contribute towards point distribution. -1 pip for every time the revenant uses it. Meaning IF the Revenant casts 5 Unrelenting Assaults on the point, the point gets decaped. (assuming you stay on point).

First of all, in the future you might wanna think about breaking up the text for easier reads.
By your post I’m gonna assume you’re playing necromancer due to being focused down every fight.
As a necromancer in diamond you never want to be alone, ever. Have it as a rule to stick to your ele. He rotates, you rotate and so on. This is especially true vs thieves. If you’re playing the decap roll of a thief / druid / rev or scrapper (kinda) you have to kitten the situation mid for example before you leave far. Did you get a kill? Then its probably safe to go for the decap. You should however under no circumstances leave your team when they are under pressure. I can’t stress this enough. Even if you manage to say, down and stomp the enemy necro. If you leave while your team is under pressure from the remaining enemies you might cause a teamwipe.

If you’re playing ele roll of an Ele / Druid. Follow the damage. Enemy leaves mid to push your close with 3 players? (Rev Necro and Ele) you follow. If they however split with say, Scrapper and ele. Your damage should be able to stalemate it while you outsustain on other points.

Hello, i recently finished reading the amazing book Ghosts of Ascalon. Naturally after reading it I followed the path from the book ingame to see if I could find anything ingame, and I did. The place where Killeen died, there’s an npc called Travelling Priestess. This NPC refers to the Claw of Khan-Ur, the centerpiece of the truce-faction between the human and the charr, as The Dagger of Khan-Ur.

I assume this is a typo ingame as the claw is described in the book as having 4 blades with 4 gems to symbolize the 4 different legions of charr.

Have you come to pay your respects?

To whom?

If you don’t know, then I suppose that’s not why you’re here. You’re standing at the grave of the adventurer Killeen, without whom this truce between human and charr would not be in place.

What did she do?

She was part of a mission to retrieve a charr artifact, the Dagger of Khan-Ur. The humans offered it to the charr as a sign of peace. She didn’t survive the task.

From the recent games in high diamond. It looks like mmr is a non-existant thing. Everything from people going boss at start of forest to pushing lords with 2 people at 110-90.

I don’t think mmr should be utilized together with Leagues. I think League placement should be the only rating they count.
Sure, it will be a complete kittenshow at season restart. But then again, in what game isn’t there?

Just the toolbelt skill of Bulwark has 1/5 uptime of a mobile reflection field whilst the mesmer feedback has 1/5.6 uptime.

Honestly I never liked this one, the condition it applies as an auto attack were stupid. I would prefer if they instead of the the corrupt just placed a remove boon and an application of a weaker condi if it removed a boon if they felt the need to buff scepter.

Vs 2+ necros. Just commit with 4 people mid at the start and burst them down while they dont have lifeforce. After that the game is won if your team has any amount of sustain. Every class in the game atm has more mobility than necros anyway so….

It does. Just like sword 3. Losing damage in groupfights is not fun, ya know? Imagine your skills dealing 66% less damage to some guy just bc his teammates shows up.

Herald sustain is nothing special at all compared to scrapper. If you feed herald and heal them to full hp then its l2p issue on your part.

Can you please stop defending revs in every thread? They are ridicolously overtuned and needs nerfing. If not the dmg, nerf the mobility or vise versa. They are just too versitile at the moment.

Hello. Ever since the beta days Moa has been either REALLY good or REALLY bad depending on the game mode.
So cutting right to it, these are my proposed changes:

Decrease duration from 10 seconds to 5 seconds. (Keep the breakbar burn amount)
While under the effect of Moa, you do not count towards point distribution.

This will make it more of a utility tool in pvp instead of the complete cheese-mode it is right now. It will give mesmers a chance to neutralize points vs some of the more tanky classes.
All of this while remaining the 180 seconds cd ofc.

Hello, I’m currently maining DH. I can’t seem to deal with Revenants. My mmr is currently very high, so it’s not unusual that I face WTS players.
I had a conversation with Texbi from Rank 55 Dragons the other day when he played Power Herald Shiro rev and asking for some basic tips on how to properly play vs power revs.

So basicly, how do I deal with the amount of dodges / Engange / Disengage and pure dmg revs have?
Its not unusual I get hit by 8-11k staff 5 combined with shiro heal.

I often need to use my Judge’s Intervention for bursts, so I have no chase potential outside of sword 2 and f2 (which is usually used for healing and weakness cleanse).

Any tips are welcomed.

Edit; Passive Taunt procs kinda kittens me over too.

The only challenging thing about Ascalon Fractal is playing a Charr character model

For low/mid-tier fractals: Zerk. Anything berserker is good. Can even run with 3 rangers 2 Necros, it seriously doesnt matter.
For high lvl fractals, 75+ you actually need to adjust team comps in order for it to go smoothly. I usually find myself wanting Mesmer, Revenant, Elementalist Warrior and Engi.
I’m personally running Viper Engi so I’m along with the Elementalist are getting HUGE dmg buffs from the close to perma quickness. Banners from the warrior coupled with the boon duration from herald results in perma 25 might, quickness and fury uptime. Engineer and Ele just has the highest dmg atm with the nerf to burnzerkers.

  • reaper; only one possible “bad” matchup (daredevil w/Unhindered Combatant). dunno where to start with this one really since i play daredevil but it’s clear reaper’s chill uptime + boon corrupt speed are both in needs of nerfs though

Reapers doesn’t beat Daredevils, Scrappers nor Druids in a 1v1. Druids are kind of a stalemate atm. Basicly, the one who screws up ends up dying.
They are horrendous in teamfights too due to being focused down within seconds.

So I’ll get started with a couple questions. How do you deal with Reaper condi bombs. Should I dodge in anticipation, and if so, when is the best time to do that? And what do Reapers do after the bomb to try to prevent the player from cleansing them or reduce the impact of cleansing? Though I have a Reaper and know their skills, I don’t know the rotations, so any info would be helpful.

When necros go into staff, get ready to dodge. I find myself usually baiting out dodges with the nr2 mark due to its low cd.
This leaves only 2 marks left needing to dodge.
The staff auto is absolutly horrendous so as soon as we blow nr3 and nr5 (Maybe nr4 if we need condi clears) we switch out of staff into X/Warhorn to have the interupts ready and trigger our on-swap sigils.

Basically lower the damage on deathly chill by a small amount, down by about 100 per tick and maybe make some of the new boon corruption skills conditional on having boons, like the boon removal and damage mod on Mesmer sword auto. Maybe have the scepter auto only poison if there are no boobs on the target. I think stuff like that would be fair.

Every necro you fight will have might, so that imitates it. And it’s not sinister, lol.

It’s either Viper or Sinister. No defensive stats what so ever. Hence the 19k max life. Either way, running that in an actual pvp setting will kill you faster than your opponents.

I’m currently in the middle of reforming an old dungeon guilds Fast Dungeons. It’s basicly an elaborate friendlist which requires no rep what so ever.
I do want people joining to know all the “popular” paths. ie; not Aether, SE p2, Arah p4 aswell as HotW p2 p3.
