there have too many light combo fields to not being associated with light
with those “wrath” – as for me name is more likely for boon not condition…
If I had to “invent” new condition that would be special to the guardian…. I have no Idea what it would be – really I was thinking on that and there is nothing (as for now) I could “invent”
Why it would be OP to give us new damaging condition… aactually there are more than enough players that are discrediting condition guardian just because the only damaging condi we have is burning…
new condition that would be introduced in way that You really need want it to have it (for example application would be in traited-version of some skill type – maybe symbols?) could be nice thing for condition guardians… but only when It could be achieveable in way that would not break existing burning builds…

maybe You have done kiel before “fix” and Evon after it

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. If you need stealth in PvE as a longbow ranger then you’re doing something wrong. You have:
1. A weapon that can attack from a distance of 1200 to 1500 from your target.
2. A pet that can grab and hold aggro, keeping your target away from you.
3. A knock back.
4. An area of effect cripple.
5. Mobs that rarely dodge.
6. Mobs that usually have a slow rate of attack.

So, with those points being undeniably true, in what scenario is a 3 second stealth better than 10 instant stacks of 10 seconds of vulnerability? Again, this change was done solely for PvP/WvW players and done at the expense of PvE players. I don’t know why anyone would bother arguing otherwise.

dungeons are also counted as PvE and they are a waaay harder
stealth for rangers would be usefull for example in cof p1 in acolytes part – You know when we need to wait for respawn of those stealth is great thing

hey and maybe in thaumanova reactor we will be the INQUEST just for change?
and we will be primarly defending reactor from some mobs (destroyer chaos beasts whatever) while some NPC will setting right configuration to the reactor and after that he will done it we will receive something like “get out of there its gonna blow” and we will have to run from the endangered zone just to see epic eruption of the reactor and have to fight some massive chaos elementall that will spawn in the place of reactor…..
actually that could be actually epic piece

You forgot that after event quartz node in home instances will be only way to obtain that material – and that one is only one that have a chance to “critical succes” that gives You charged crystal

gladium that is royal to the legion isn’t gladium long enough – because to make their duty he/she have to find warband that will agree to join.
if it wob’t even search – it means that he/she is no longer rolay to the legion…..

as for me only thing that need “fix” is mob scaling with party…
If I am taking specially build party to deal massive AoE damage I suppose we should be able nuke all the spawns down on each tier – maybe with little efford at t4 – but instead we cannot because damage that would kill everybody (that could even wipe out semi-zerg in wvw) is less than mosquito for regular spawns…

just after the patch our guild have made some 5 parson parties to make this trials.
party was prepared in the way “we are taking all the spawns in one place and nuke them hell out” first three tiers we have made out this way (with rather bigger efford at tier3). Tier 4 we could not. after many many tries, all ppl in party decided that we will not do it in normall way – spawns was too hard to kill, and also there was big efford with that mortars….
so we decided that we will not aggro any mob. from ragular spawns.
actually we made it only because of camping on the plunderer’s spawn and focusing fire on one mob – on pluderer when was near – and on some mobs that was aggroed accidentally when plunderer was too far.
we finished it in the last second, with 500 of treasures left…..

I thougt, that it was obvious, that i was exaggerating, but anyway. It doesnt change anything. If it wasnt for Evon, lion arch would have been in ruins, and he even showed different aspect of war for chars. You dont have to fight to live good. Even though he getting money – he gives smth, that we all need. And it is good for both.

or just gnash warband would be wiped form the surface of the earth by Lions Guard and citizens of LA – who outnumbered them very much….

Kiel supporters vote because "yay she’s cute" / “omg dude cheaper wps (they don’t even know that it’s temporary and expect it to be like 90%)”

• You don’t see a “source” when you are the source.
• The “source” of a bleeding stack might be the last inflicted one since it defined the duration bar (white corner). But that’s irrelevant.

As I explained earlier, burning has a malice priority. When others inflict it, try to get more malice than them and your burn hits rather then theirs. And here remember, that might also boosts your malice.

in most cases if fighting melee enemy shield 5 have only one function – double tap it.
we have knockback a little heal….
problem with keeping longer that skill up is that in the second after poping melee enemies are back in the melee range – so only thing i can do is detonate baoble and dodge/whatever….

but taking under consideration fact that BOTH NPC’s gnashblade and Sareb have the dialog line that Gnashbalde leaved their legion….

we have the whole warband of the gladiums there
about “honorless” – for charrs all gladium – if he is not trying to get into new warband is considered as honorless….

but I don’t agree with copy-paste argument – evon is hosting this minigames and Ellen is scheduling them
I think itis the matter of zephyrites leaves – Aspect Arena is based on their crystals so after their leaving Kiel would have minimall acces to it – and southsun is were and will be still there

I talked to the candidates in game – no one are talking about this – kiel only sends You to Arena and evon on survival.

How does a friend help? If you fall into the lava, do they jump down there and revive you? Now if you are talking about Mes ports, that’s different.

Tip for that JP: Take off all your armor before starting and you’ll save some money.

You don’t need a friend to that – golem will do that – also golem can teleport You to the last pannel (closest to the end) You’ve aleady visited.

but then we are meeting in Kessex Peak a group of hostile NPC’s who are named as members of cult with that necromancer’s name.

also they are residing actually under that Wizard Tower.
So…..

as for me that Isgaren is somekind of descendand of this cult which was founded to give that necromancer resources to working on their “infinite minion spell”
apprentices are taken for:
1. more resources
2. train them to follow path of their “master” – somebody must eventually invent that spell in the eyes of cultist yes? :P

One floating platform. The rest aren’t floating – no more than a small tower or block t hat’s floating at least. But that’s atypical asuran design mixed in with chaos magic saturation.

But the fact you’re teleported up doesn’t mean anything in relation to where the reactor is. Nonetheless, Thaumanova was in the ground. The reactor, underground. If it crash landed or something, it’d be noticeable. And the city itself is the structure we go to clean up, not something lost from up above.

yes of course You land on the single platform and from there You cannot see any other floating structures.

but when I was wandering near that buildings where Fire Elemental takes place looking up could reveal more floating structures up there….
When I’ll be there next time I’ll give You a screenie but unfortunatelly that can be on Monday as earliest possibility

actually I’m using it in deliquate different way – 20 points in Radiance (anyway I have 30 in virtues so that 10 in virtues isn’t matter) “A Fire inside” trait and I use it like a sustained burning dmg – or utility when it comes to shield of the Avenger.

and I don’t agree with that merge.
actually in my situation having eternal spirit merged with traits I’m using is the LAST thing I wan’t – that is already crappy when I NEED to quickly take of my spirit weapons and they don’t listen to “command” because they were.. moving or atacking… or ooc.. or whatever stupid reason thet gosty thing would have to do not listen command to destroy themself.
and yeah sword command (and bow maybe – I’m not using it anyway) should be ground targetet – last time I wanted sword to blow off in the face of Veteran because it would die anyway (it has very low hp left and my possibilities to heal it ended) so when sword was running to the veteran I targetet it and clicked “command” I thought that it will use it in the face of mob not in the way that veteran was just out of AoE efect… (taking the fact that sword need target to have a chance of destroy themself that would be logical that it will make it in the front of that target – not exacly in the place it is right now)

but forgeting about little command issues they are making their role perfectly
and now there is always 3 of me on the battle field

because that class is everything what I tried to achieve by strange mixes of secondary class to my warrior back in gw1.

I picked writ of exaliation (symbols are greater right?) and writ of mercifull
with hammer auto and my healing power and boon duration in fight I have perma-protection+healing comparable with regeneration while standing on symbol…

prayer to dwayna still have that 2 second casting time and heal is given at the end – so in most cases I pop heal I would be killed while casting it.
that’s why I’m using shelter.

@CMF actuallyI’m playing more utility guardian right now and as I’m running dungeons and all other stuff with mostly my guildmates and no-one consider me as “bad-party-member”….

@Lokki main problem of Your post is….
DPS won’t help You if You encounter something that has health pool big enought to survive pretty long against full zerker and dmg big enough that glassy guy have no chance to stand against.

btw. healing power isn’t that bad…
maybe for average guardian that isn’t interesting in big usage of it it looks like useless but in my build that makes BIG difference to have that 1k+ healing power or not to have it. both in self-survivability and supporting the party.

also main idea of bunker (as I told previously: there are no tanks – there are bunkers) is not to take all the damage to Your face and stand against it – but being able of withstand nearly everything – in guardian case that is also matter of supporting allies in the midle time….

hey but that really Could be great Idea
make scepter auto-atack chain like some profession have
for example something like this:
1. orb of wrath
2. another orb – maybe something quicker?
3. place symbol (centered on enemy or player – not sure which would be better) that chills foes and grants something to the allies

I’m still dropping these – mostly while doing events in Cursed Shore with many many many mobs to kill
but I have another strange thing – actually when I active bonuses from the kites I don’t drop no more kites until these bonuses are up – so I’m not using them while running – I’m doing it only for scraps.

The Thaumanova city wasn’t floating, and in fact the structure we go through in Metrica is that city. The reactor that blew was underground, in the hole that is sealed off unless you have that charged Matrix Key.

Furthermore, I doubt that ArenaNet would make two fractals based on the Thaumanova Reactor explosion.

@Peter – simple thing – I am burning guardian and I was in fight with a chamipon fire imp.
in fight was also trap condi ranger and some engineer.
ranger was dropping fire field and everyone who shooted throught them inflicted something like 1sec. of burn.
and most of time burning didn’t have to named source of burning – that’s because"sources" of separate ticks was too many and system named above was working.
btw. in case of burning “Source” is not last person who applied burning but person which burning is ticking right now

and funny thing everytime when I applied burning source was empty – otherwise it was changing just about every second

in case of bleeding – “Source” may be player who inflicted last their tick, or player who inflicted strongest one…. not sure because I bleed my enemies only with ranger – and on ranger I have no time to giving too much to the “source” of bleeding…

there are no tanks… there are bunkers.
and yeah guardian support-bunker is very viable…
people will always whine, that You are not playing “only-rightfull-way” unless they’ll notice that You are actually keeping them alive…..
