A PvE player is supposed to avoid a 1-2 second 1 shotting aoe.
A WWW player is considered uncapable of avoiding a 5,75 second aoe for half his health.

To tell the truth its possibly not even a bug.
Prefractured you randomly had harder fractals.
This is possibly the fourth time i post it but you randomly had fractals with increased damage and mob spawns you usually didn t have:
example:
you had bats in lava rocks corridor in lava fractals
you had huge dredge zergs roaming just near spawnpoints
and many other stuff
It didn t impact boss damage, just everything else.
It was usually coupled with damage increase.
Since fractured, the spawn changes disappeared…but some weird dps increase from trash mobs etc is still there (and have nothing to do with instabilities).
And once again is not “a guess”.

But now they changed their mind and went all to www and for some reason they lose fights…..

We won many extremely outnumbered fights while roaming Yesterday and your roamers gave up after 2 hours in deso border.
Those weren t pvp players for sure. (and i guess they were mostly pve players).
I know deso have good pvp players but possibly they don t like pvp…. (also megaservers :/ makes pve and pvp “identity” quite bland).
Blind cooldown is global
That means it procs randomly whenever you hit something.
If you hit a wall, a phantasm and a player, you will probably waste the effect.
It means also the trait will be weak against any pet profession (necro/mesmer/ranger etc)

If deso keeps playing with a single or double server blob.
You can t complain other servers wichever they’ll be and in any tier, will just PvDoor your unattended stuff while you lose hours to kill small zergs that have the only job to slow your blobs down..
Afaik is the same issue you have since months ….but only recently you decided to complain about doubleteaming.

As i said sometimes damage is totally awkward since at 20 you can have mobs hitting for more than 50.
And the fact you can actually win the fractals anyway is not a good excuse to not fix it.

Stresshead you are not much familiar with www maybe.
But if a T3 server is sieged by 2 attackers (happen constantly as it happen on stonemist etc), attackers will never fight until one of the 3 server is totally wiped.
In case of a garrison attackers won t possibly never fight because due to the short distance from defender WP, both of them have all interest in clearing the T3.
Doing differently would result in a gift to defenders and possible proof of doubleteaming notg against but on side with the defender

Unless you think that desolation suddenly got the stronvgest server in GW2 history, there is no way for a server to recover points during a 2VS1.
If deso can suddenly fight equally SFR+BB then (look at ppt evolution) then its working as intended.
But the fact is no server could ever do that.

The most difficult part of PvE aka Fractals drop accound bound exotics and ascended.
Also account bound skins.
Even the fractal T7 materials, the recipes and everything else is.
If you enter fractals you exit with stuff tied to your account mostly.
You cna t sell them you can t give for free.
They tried to make you get some gold from using your fractal rewards via crafting.
They failed since they made sure to include rare T6 in recipes so you still need to feed the TP.
That the reduction of champ coin rewards didn’t come at the same time as the removal of the armor repair costs?

Proofs there is no doubleteaming (deso is ticking more PPT than both BB and SFR).
Unless deso is suddenly able to best 2 servers alone.

You learn to look for skill tells and evade them and to stay focused.mind is different…. i play both pve (dungeons fotm lvl 50 etc etc) and spvp (rank 64, reached only with tournament, not hj) so i know both worlds…. in pve the goal is reach a goal like hight lvl fotm or farming some content, for farmin u should just hit much enemies as possible, and in fotm and dungeon u should just found a good corner to stack with others and know when to dodge, in spvp u have to know very well your class and others cause u have to take the right choice when u have an enemies, if u front an ele u should take a decision, if u find a war you should choose other skills… in spvp you have to coordinate with team mate, and first of all you should be motivated to improve yourself… i’ve found alot of ppl that told me “who care to win” this is not serius and ruin a game for ppl that wanna have a good pvp…. too many ppl stay on free point for cap it, when i say go they stay there for farm points… i should continue my list for hours… pve and spvp is different anyone can learn anything, but ppl purpose is different, and since the patch it was released, soloq it was destroyed
You are right on cordination.
You are wrong on the fact is different.
A PvE fractal player (doesn t stack) will possibly learn fast to recognize any profession tell, CD and mechanic, also to not waste evasions.
That is at least a 30% of the skill needed for PvP.
PvE is not as easy as you think.
If you had things like lava font dealing 14.000 per tick as fast as it appears, or a warrior GS autoattack hitting for 9000, this forum would implode.
The awful AI is balanced with such numbers, but in the end you learn to react fast and the learn tells fast.
Those afaik are part of the required skills for any PvP game.
It also means good PvE players are probably potential good PvP players with some training and you should help them instead of complaining.
Since gw2 PvP is not that deep.

Time ago ranger gave simply a flat 7% if i remember that (due to a bug).
Kaleban that would kill DD istantly.
At that point even without stealth almost every class could exit a fight at will against DD ele.

For the love of Mike. Champ bags and like rewards inject NEW coin into the game’s economy. If you want to keep true inflation under control then your two choices is limit new coin entering the game or take more coin out through one of the sinks. In this case they balanced both sides of the equation by removing the repair cost sink while reducing the champ coin reward.
The Devs can control what a event rewards. They can’t control players who are willing to “pay” another (by accepting less) to sell the rewards they received for more coin.
This was disproven so many times i am tired of reposting it.

There are several example to gold sinks… TP flipping is simply the worst.
Also balancing TP flipping wouldn t remove it but simply avoiding to inflate gold by wealth concentration.

I haven’t tested it myself there was a thread on reddit one of DnT’s guides. Someone asked what is a option for Mesmer and Nike said Rune of Ranger is good for Ranger’s and Mesmers. I asked him if the 6/6 worked for Mesmer’s he said seems it does. Not sure if it is fixed or a bug but this was a few days after the patch.
Runes of the ranger gives you +7% dmg increase while having a minipet.
Oh well they are useless then since it would obviously be a bug.

Skill is not applied when your opponent has little interest defending a point and instead can escape at will with no downside and no way to follow him.

It was already stated many times by developers.

Actually if you look at what is happening i’d say many french went to deso.
There are only 3 servers having a huge increase in PPT last days:
Vizuna, Jade Sea and Desolation.
Sfr is outmanned for most of the day…but things will change soon since other holidays could revert the situation.

The focus on the TP is so high that People can with few hours Investments get ahead of any other players.

I cast FGS, and then i transform
I have 2 results.
1) cast interrupted
2) conjured dropped
Used mistery quggan tonic and the Christmas tonic (doliak with FGS would be OP).
Didn t try to pick up… i ll try ty.
That if you try to go balanced you achieve no damage and no defense.
(mostly PvE and WWW).
You can also get 100% burning uptime.
And you can get many other buffs.
These (and other) runes helps power builds.
Power builds got a 20-30% DPS (not crit chance) nerf without runes and sigils.
This means that those runes helps power builds to recover some dps.
But they also helps by far more both tanky and condition builds in term of dps reducing the difference between, glass cannons and the Others.
While its quite good for tank and balanced builds its only an issue on condition builds.
Don t look at runes alone.
Look at the Whole patch
90% runes/sigils if put in prepatch game would be brokenly OP.
But they nerfed something to buff something other.

Yo are talking about the Thief. Elementalist d/d is great too but not that hard master.

Thief= simply immortal….you can t kill something able to both become invisibile on demand and having best mobility in game and no CD.
Even a dev once said you can t kill thieves, you can only make them run away….
Ele= nerfed mobility, huge cooldowns and no survival mechanic…0 room for mistakes.
If you go tank you can be effective…only at surviving :|
The unbalanced status of WWW means that if you don t have DPS you won t kill anything.
Even staff zerg meta switched to DPS making ele more interesting.

So which is it you have a problem with the extra 15% might duration over other runes or the 7% damage bonus? You know it use to give 5% so your telling me that +2% damage buff when every power build received a crit damage nerf is huge? You aren’t playing with your old levels of damage even in s/tPvP. The 2% extra damage buff it received probably doesn’t make up for the crit damage you use to have. The might stacks let you get that damage back but it takes build up you don’t have it at the start. Front loaded vs backloaded and removable damage vs your old permanent damage levels.
The problem with the rune set in my mind is that it increases might duration by a huge 45% which makes might stacking really easy without much additional boon duration. 30% would be better here.
I have also a bit of problem with the hit proc that you get 10s (actually 14,5s with runes own duration add) pretty much every 5s. Thats one low CD right there, compare it to the Rune of Rage which has the same proc expect its 15s of fury with 30s CD. Maybe increase the CD into 15s or atleast 10s so you have a bit harder time to keep the sixth bonus up with only the runes or if someone strips your boons.
Then the 7% damage increase. I suppose it could stay as is, the 2% reduction I was thinking wouldn’t change that much, but I wouldn’t mind seeing it a bit lower.
All in all, I think it gives a tad too much.
And you can see other runes do the same with chilling, fire, defense, and much more.
Simply the ferocity nerf push people into a search for the lost DPS and this was theeasier answer.
For example i don t get all people getting these runes and then using lemongrass in WWW….
The problem is our diversity. If they add a slight amount of extra damage, Ele’s can stretch it for miles and create an insane nuking build. If they give us a slight amount of extra survivability, Ele’s again run with it for miles and create some invincible bunker. It’s a sticky situation, honestly.

Plenty changes in MMOs I’ve played since EQ1 have been aimed at Mr and Ms Average. And for good reason, these players are usually surprisingly more invested in your game and experience more of it’s content. Despite being the less hardcore of players and caring less about it.
It’s part of the genre.But there’s another thing which instead rears it’s head: game modes.
Strength runes are very much the go-to for most builds in PvE now, depending on who you play with and who stacks might in your party. This shows that for a power-based setup, they’re quite too strong. Whether a power-setup needs help or not in sPvP is nearly irrelevant then, because really, shouldn’t balance a gear stat around a single rune set.
For PvE.
In most case strength are better for Mr average.
While Others still use scholar and similar….
Prepatch the meta was identical with much less viable runes and we also have the economic version of strength losing only 7%.
Also you promoted the nerfs of the other viable alternative (crit damage runes)…and your post is again a pile of contradictions..

For WWW
While every single rune/sigil have been buffed, offensive runes slightly compensate for the damage loss from ferocity nerfs (near 20% considering food and traits), and still give an opportunity to power builds against a condibunker meta that got buffs without nerfs.
For PvP.
Capturing points can’t be the balance focus, being a small part of the game its ruining the other game modes.
