Not endless, achievement chests max out at 24500 currently I believe.
What would you find to be a fair ratio? I think promoting 250 silk bolts gives 10-30 gossamer bolts? So should the demotion of 30 gossamer give 250 silk bolts?
For me I’ve stocked up enough of all tier2-5 mats enough to make 600 bolts of damask, (about 180,000 silk scrap) enough for 21 of my characters so I won’t be affected by the increase in price.
All will be crafted in… more than a year and half. Happy clicking
Actually they all will be crafted in less than 200 days, which is just slightly less than 7 months. Produce 3 damasks per day instead of 1.
If you have 3 accounts… the timer is account bound and not character or crafting profession bound.
People saying so are intolerant towards other playstyles / playing habbits.
I think we need a recipe to turn gossamer back into silk.

Considering the low PvP population it is no wizard work to double the population. Especially with all the achievement hunters coming and trying to do the dailies. But the population is raising because of the wrong reasons, not because people enjoy spending 4hours a day in tPvP, but because they have to for the dailies. I have yet to find an achievement hunter ingame who was happy with the new time requirements to get everything done.
I horded 100+ dragonite bars, 100+ empyreal stars and 300+ bloodstone bricks so far.
Anet has over 300 (and raising) employes split into differen teams. I honestly doubt working on some of these suggestions would have a noticeable impact on other updates.
Maybe because there arent terrible many achievement hunters left after all the stuns anet pulled over the months, and of the smallish amount only a minority also uses the forums. I can assure you I talked to some ingame who are dissatisfied also, but they cant be bothered to use the forums.
Indeed it costs 1000 gems each time they bring out new event ones. If minis had more features a lot more people would buy them.
Keep them. I can imagine future legendaries need truckloads of them.

I believe in GW1 your heroes and henchmen reacted to your emotes, so I think it should be easy to do for humanoid miniatures.
Not hard to win if there is no competition
Dont forget the time to craft it. Turning the +1 infusions into +2 will take like 250 million seconds alone without taking the time to buy the ingredient into consideration

BUT for me i cant see the point to do all this useless daily stuff all day or even this living storyevents – they are just boring and i dont see a point to do this

there are other things like 3k+ tournaments won like 10k + gold like wvw kills or other wvw archievements and whatever to be maby something like “Prestige-objects”

would be same when you write /age ingame and say to your mate “look im cooler i played longer”

to get top 100 you have to do the most tedious aspects the game has to offer, winning 3k tournament games looks like a vacatation to me in comparison :p
doing all dailies daily if possible definatly takes more effort than winning 3k tournaments, which can even been done at your own pace, without time gating.
It shows who spent most effort on the game since release.
Sadly no new feature patches for quite a while. Next patch: 21 january and we will get 4 living story only patches in a row. So if anything positive happens for miniatures, its probably a long long time away
People probably clear them much faster than expected by the devs thanks to exploits, full berserker groups and stacking.

That “achievement” is the very opposite of an achievement by any definition I’ve ever seen, and removal of currency from the game, while necessary, is not something that should ever be worth achievement points.
But if you think about it, it’s a great incentive to sink existing Gold. You already get AP from having 200 Gold in your account. So if you have one meta to get players to save Gold, then you should have another meta for them to get rid of it.
Such an artifical gold sink would be beyond silly. If anything add higher tier cultural armors and other prestige objects which give AP when bought. I spent over 500g this week to complete the emperor title for example.
I don’t think any Mesmer (or anyone else) would be against getting rid of this skill and replacing it with a useful elite.

Sure fun for the mesmer, but not so fun for the person it is used on. Turning off your skills, killing all minions, turning off your elite skill is just too OP. Its probably one of the most powerful elites in the whole game if used properly.

Sorry no. I dont want people with 100k gold buy rank 1 of the achievement point leaderboard. Its bad enough they can buy legendaries already.
So I just had a short dc (the ones which put you to character selection) close to the end of a tPvP match, came back within a short time. My score was reset to 0 and I gained absolutly no rewards from the match although we won. Did not even progress my daily achievement. This is just stupid.
I feel scammed out of credit for my hard earned win.

No use to have a leaderboard for fractals unless you remove the level cap and check the top 100 for exploiters/bug abusers.
I would pay 2k gems for a permanent one, but temporary ones are of no interest to me.
This was already suggested when the passes were available last time, but looks like Anet ignored the suggestion.
lvl 41-50 are one daily chest. 51-60 next tier, but those are not available yet. so most likely you did a 41-49 fractal run on the same day
After 7 of 8 wins and 5 hours of torture with terrible teams I have to give up. Reset in 3 minutes. These dailies are just terrible.
250g in GW1=2.5 plat. in otherwords, you could kill a couple enemies in a highend zone, sell of trash, and you could buy 5+.
actually it was 0.25 plat. 1000 gold = 1 plat in GW1
I think it should be disabled entirely for PvP. Its just too OP since it also cancels almost every elite skill and instant kills all necromancer minions.
It just completly ruins the gameflow if you suddenly have to deal with 5 skills which arent your own.
I still find the Moa skill completly unacceptable.
If it’s such a terrible deal, no-one will buy it and it will be changed or removed. I know I don’t have much interest in it.
I think ANet made a slight tactical error naming the MMO GW2. It’s not a sequel but a completely different game, and comparing the costs of items to the cost in GW1 is sort of a red herring.
The game is from the same developers and publisher, so even if it wouldnt have the same name I would compare them, since the items do exactly the same.
I personally believe that the game needs a healthy dose of vertical and horizontal progression. It should not be so polarized towards either of the two.

Also I keep hearing people talking about their dozens of alts. Noone forces you to have that many characters in BiS gear. Any content in this game can be cleared in white gear if you are good. Anything more just makes the content easier.
How can I see something that was available for almost for free (equivalent of maybe 5 silver per use) via ingame means in GW1 suddenly see in GW2 as worth it, if it costs 3.13€ or 25 gold?
That is in the eye of the beholder. To people like me who have hundreds of unused laurels I would just spend more laurels instead of 25g. There is not much useful to do with laurels anyway if you already have full ascended jewelry.
Indeed. 250 gold in GW1 was like 15 silver in GW2. Now it costs 25g (167x as much as in GW1) for a single use.
Are you kidding Lilith Ajit.6173? An extractor costs 25g worth of gems currently. A rune of divinity is worth ~10g. You should redo your math or is loosing 15g worth of resources “worth it” to you?
Same with Sigil of generosity – 10g loss.

Would only help speculators who horded stacks of these in anticipation of an update like this happening.
