Player X thinks ‘dps’ is really important and uses a meter, and is very opinionated about it. Player 2 values balanced gameplay and is less concerned with min maxing 1 stat and more concerned with the overall group progress, including boon distribution etc. Player X tries to change how player 2 plays, or worse tries to force the issue.

And this is why DPs meters are a bad thing (unless personal only)

That’s a load of bull and you know it. Making up ridiculous scenarios that would almost never happen just put down a very useful tool that can and will improve a lot of players gameplay.

A Skada-like dps meter would be great and additional things like boon uptime n such. Unfortunately it will just never happen due to people that barely raid, don’t raid at all, or had a “bad experience” in another game a long time ago would come out the wood work just to put it down and claim that it’s “toxic” and “elitist”. The AI seems to have gotten worse in the new zone. I frequently notice confused mobs running back and forth trying to decide if they should fight me or not. This also makes them more annoying to fight especially when combined with the chill spam.

I’ve noticed that as well. I even encountered a few ranged Svanir that would just stop attacking and start running around randomly without moving my character a step from where I originally aggro’d it.

Go to your friends list in game and click the green square at the top left corner.

Also to see if your friend is really online but just invisible, go to your friends list and hover over his name and if it says he’s in a zone and not “unknown” he’s just invisible. You can manually invite him by /invite his name in chat or mail him that you know he’s online to foil his plan.

The story is short, boring, and Braham is incredibly annoying. I like the map though, it’s quite nice. 2/10 for the story, 7/10 for the map.

No, there should NOT be one large group for the entire map, it would just be an annoyance.

Then don’t die, and your option is not to “sitting on the back and shooting bullets or arrows as a F warrior”, you need to git gud. Don’t just blindly walk back to where you died, use your map to see where they are heading to next, and if they are not tagged up go do your own thing or ask where they are now in map chat. The walks back are not long at all, stop complaining.

No, there should NOT be a waypoint at every objective. That’s a awful idea. It would ruin WvW.

The expansion is half off right now, I would say it’s worth it. There’s raids, huge meta events on all of the maps, and of course elite specs. Also new legendaries if you’re into that.

Are you that lazy to take like a minute to clean your inventory? It’s not hard, open as much as you can, use salvage-o-matic to auto salvage everything, deposit, and rinse repeat. You’ll be done before your next queue pops and you’ll probably still have enough time to run in circles for a bit.

Because you asked so nicely, I’m sure they’ll scrap everything and implement scythes just for you.

Considering they just put a glider(Halloween Glider) in the Black Lion Chest, and now this description of placeholder outfit. I believe they are going to actually start doing this with more gliders and now outfits.

That’s not the point, it’s only going to be INSIDE Black Lion Chests during certain dates, which is the problem. You won’t be able to buy it outright from the gem store.

People will have to spend 2x, 3x, even 4x+ amount of money/gold on keys just to get the outfit than they would just buying it outright for whatever price on the gemstore. There was someone claiming their girlfriend spent over $100 on keys just to get the new ghost glider from the Black Lion chest and didn’t get it a week ago on the forums.

Two Aprils ago ANet had the April Fools airplane animation. European players made them publicly apologize on the EU forums for being so insensitive as to have an airplane animation when a plane crashed and killed a number of people a week before and 5000 miles away from where ANet is located. The next April there was no April fools joke and I’m not expecting ANet to ever have another April fools joke.

So good luck with your suggestion but I think it’s not likely.

How was arena net insensitive for having a plane animation? They obviously wouldn’t poke fun at what happened. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had the plane animation approved and made weeks ahead of April 1st, even before what happened. What are they just going to scrap their work because of what something in real life? It’s a video game, they shouldn’t have to tip toe around real life events in order to release content, it’s bullkitten people got upset about it.

This has been requested a quite a bit since launch. I believe they would have did it already if they wanted to.

The ravens are not even bad with a large mob, unless they’re playing in like first person, no way “blinding”. You should just tell them to suck it up buttercup.

Coming back to the game after a break and got dragged into doing tier 4 dailies. I must say the new Swampland fractal is fantastic, I am referring to the Bloomhunger fight. Though I feel the mechanics of the fight were wasted on it just being a dungeon encounter. It should of definitely been a raid encounter, and obviously much harder.

Because they’re atrocious when it comes to balancing the game.

Suggestion: Please make this two directional arrow skills instead of an evade back and jump forward.

If you’ve ever tried roaming in wvw you know spinning the camera around and then spinning it back forward ends up with no distance gained. This is supposed to be a movement skill, but half the time it ends up in a net loss because you mess it up or you end up with zero distance gained compared to just casually running forward. Every other class that has a leap forward skill gains ground because it’s just a single leap forward without having to jerk your camera around. What stops me from running sword over gs is the lack of a viable movement skill. I’d rather have a 100% reliable greatsword swoop (with a distance gain) rather than the janky, wannabe, movement skill that is sword 2. This change still allows rangers to “evade” out of aoe circles just like before, but the ranger now has a choice in where to relocate to rather than rolling off a cliff.

I’d even settle for one of a couple options.

Option 1 – Preferred option.
-Directional arrow on both Hornet’s Sting and Monarch’s Leap.
-Hornet’s Sting does no damage.
-Monarch’s Leap does double damage comparable to Maul.

Option 2 – Second choice
-Directional arrow on both Hornet’s Sting and Monarch’s Leap.
-Neither Hornet’s Sting or Monarch’s Leap does any damage.
-Both have an evade frame.

Option 3 – Last resort
(If directional arrows are not an option, because rangers can’t have anything nice.)
-Both Hornet’s Sting and Monarch’s Leap go forward.

No thanks, directional arrow movement skills are kitteng annoying.

It’s supposed to be a special and exclusive set? Hilarious. The set is VERY lackluster, just like the last five weapon sets that were released. I bet there’s an ulterior motive behind releasing a new set like this. The most obvious would be to get people to buy gems for keys.

What about Warrior? Warrior has not even been remotely viable the first two seasons, and we finally get an OK build. Then the amulet that makes us some what viable gets removed. Sure there’s Viper’s, Destroyer’s, and Wanderer’s but at the cost of significant amount of damage and/or defenses stats needed to survive. Which only puts back into the kitten tier category. Balance classes, not remove amulets and destroy not so strong classes’ builds.

I thought the reward tracks were permanent? If any changes need to be changed about it is boosters work with the track exp and add vials of wvw reward track exp to wvw dailies. Also more wvw specific reward tracks be added.

I am still using it and having a blast in WvW; I’ve hardly noticed any change in the “gunflame” part and the Adrenal health boost is awesome sauce. And when the melee happens, I whip out my GS and start flailing away with excellent survivability.

It still seems like a good balanced build for transitioning between kite and melee. What am I missing here?

There was a 20% damage nerf on gunflame, and it doesn’t hit people twice anymore. c:

How exactly does this build counter Chrono’s or even anything? Seems to me like you’re going to hit like a wet noodle, a slow swinging wet noodle.
Why Paralyzation Sigil? You have one stun, Headbutt, and you have to be on hammer. Earthshaker if you really need to, but it’s just better to berserk for Rupturing Smash, more damage, daze, two second immobilize, and some boons.
Rage is just meh, can just be replaced with something that’ll have more value.
Rune of Surging is also meh.
The build is kind of a tank, but not really because you can’t tank at all, and you bring no team support, and no damage. So pretty much dead weight. c:

Simply put, the more animations your character displays when using a skill the harder it is for your opponent to process which skill you’re using / about to use, stowing when finishing or while using a skill produces this effect. As for for “sick strategic dodge jumping” once again…simply put, you travel further when combining the 2 skills and as for them being random… if im not dealing damage with the evades im either using them to evade skills / re positionbut hey, thats your opinion i guess. It really is quite obvious when you think about it…i guess skipping wurweor bwasics was a bad idea huh?, cheers for the input nonetheless.

“The harder it is for your opponent to process which skill you’re using”, seems pretty bs to me, it hardly masks your animations or even at all. Even if it did work it’ll work on terrible pvers running around in wvw, which is what you’re fighting, and redundant because you’re going to kill them anyway. I’m fully aware that you travel further while dodge jumping, i’m just stating that a lot of your random dodge jumping seems pointless and have hardly anything to do with “repositioning”.

How exactly does it hide/skew animations? I don’t see what you’re talking about, the animations don’t look like they are being hidden or even skewed. I understand if you’re dodging to do damage, but a majority of your sick strategic dodge jumping was just random kitten ing which did not benefit at all to the fight. I guess I shouldn’t of skipped wurweror bwasics 101.
