To the OP, do this regularly on your server and you will become the stuff of legends.
A good scout who notices things fast and calls them out — or goes into insta-whisper to commander when they see it (as they’re running to check it out) — is invaluable. No this does not mean all caps freakouts, but quick whisper saying the facts: “swords at North East tower, not sure on number, running there now” or “orange swords North East Tower, running there” (which is enough info for that commander to hop over and respond as it’s a big blob).
It’s next-to-useless to call things out, expecting someone else to run and check the info of the call out. Do it yourself, be the hero, then you can give more details like which server, how many, is it a single guild group or mixed, etc. Then you become reliable and your call outs are responded to more frequently, which for me, is a great reward — my word is being trusted and we are responding as a team.
If your server doesn’t appreciate your efforts, find a server that does. Servers with great scouts manage to thwart the enemy with fewer numbers, making the game fun and challenging. Good servers understand how vital a good scout can be to gameplay.

Looks like this game only has 1-2 loot tables and the RNG picks 1-2 out of the 50k items stacked in those tables.

Theres a few npcs blocking stuff in WvW like workers on depots and some on a few cannon spots.

You select server in launch and stay there. That is loyalty.
So someone that have never ever set their foot in WvW but have been on the server since day 1 is more loyal than someone that have been in WvW several hours each day since they transferred two years ago?
So what. Pve is megaserver now anyway and WvW isnt…

First people complain ( including me ) about the impossible to get acheivements. Now anet decides to lower them to more reasonable, maybe a bit too easy idk, and people going berserk about it being too easy.

That wasn’t the point – the point is that we want something achievable that we still can be proud of – I’m still proud of “The Blazing Light” – because (for most) it took a real effort to get it.
My point is and was to say that the achievements were impossible to get. Now Anet decides to lower the requirements ( a tad too low perhaps ) and its still not ok. Go get a f2p account, wait for new map and hunt 2.5k dollies there. See how fast you would get it there. There are still numerous of other wvw achievements around that are harder to get then this yakslapper alone, go hunt those instead.

I’d recommend going to www.gw2wvw.net and just reading the forum match threads to get an idea of server, um, personality.
What you see in those threads, trolls aside, is pretty much what you’ll see in map chat.
That site is probably the last one i would recommend people to look up for server communities. Nothing but cowpoo all over the place.

Yup I finally agree with you on something darksyze, 3 years later and people are still making stupid complaints.
Move on people, stability stomping, mist form stomping, port stomping, and elixer s stomping are all far superior to stealth stomping.
Chuck in quickness procs on these stomps for extra effect.

Constant nerfs to Obsidian Sanctum?
Genuinely curious… what have they nerfed there?
They removed it from WvW map chat
They nerfed loot bags
They nerfed the reward
This caused it to go from a bustling area where many regulars played, to a wasteland.
You have to thank Malekittenus and friends for these nerfs as they use OS as a farmspot for the ultimate dominator title.

The fact they have to log back in from scratch is already rewarding enough for me. If i want some loot ill go kill some pve instead, much better quantity then a spike or a random blue/green, if lucky.

Just some tips since people seem to have left their brains switched off…
- Ranger has access to “Sic Em” – it applies Revealed
- Engineer trait has access to Revealed debuff via traits
- Stealth Disruptor Trap exists. Start using it. But first, start using your brains.
- Most PU Mesmers don’t carry much condi-cleanse, or only have 1, therefore they are weak against conditions. Immobilize them to set up a burst, CC them etc… preferably AFTER you’ve applied Revealed to them to make it easier.
- Trapper builds via thief/ranger work well against a stealthed mesmer
- Turn your sound up/on; you can hear the enemy Mesmer’s skills (stealth) going on/off CD and may help you distinguish where exactly they are

Well if you have stance warriors its quite easy i mean invul for 15 secs is enough dmg to hold it, not just that in the time they build it 3 sup ac focus is enough to easily take down that siege while they focus your siege 1 by 1.
Well siege is more then just spam place it at one spot.
Invulnerable for 15 sec for DIRECT dmg, conditions and cc effects will pin u down in 10% of that invuln time vs a lot of people period. Now stop trying to troll man.

If you can’t approch ennemy tower because there is too much ac’s… Just attack with cata or treb…. It’s so difficult ? You only know how to use ram ? The other siege are to difficult ? It’s not only spam 2 ?
kitten , it’s so easy to counter massive ac’s without cheating, just take your time and attack at long distance… And if this give the time to the ennemy blob to kill you, then you have to increase your fighting ability…
That is exactly what the defenders of this cheesy ac “tactic” lacking. Thinking further then their nose length.

Survival Ranger has some nice condition clears through survival skills. Unsure if its the best condi removal class/build but i like it. Saved my kitten tons of times getting condi showered.

I personally have no problem roaming solo with my PU Condi Mesmer.
I personally have no problem roaming solo with my condi ranger taking out PU mesmers and other stealthed kittens. A well timed sic em followed by a bleed bomb makes most of them melt in seconds.

Few years ago Devon Arrowcarter confirmed these achievements are a “bit” ahum out of touch and theyre looking for a rework. Meanwhile the daily achiev system has been overhauled 3 times but getting rid of 1 or 2 zeros on these objectives is waaaaay to hard..
