It’s your first time, don’t worry about it. If you’re a thief and experienced jumper you can get through the jp quickly and avoid enemies easily. Also, there are mystic fountains that make you invisible for 4 minutes, take advantage of those.

With a decent group you can do a path 1 run in 15 minutes. With a good group you can do it in 10 minutes. I know this because I have completed path 1 over 3 times within the effects of 1 omnomberry bar. From what I’ve observed, this disgusting DR only effects the end reward which starts at 60 tokens + 26 silver and goes down every time. However, it doesn’t effect the boss loot. Bosses always drop 10s and final bosses drop around 14s. You get 40% more silver from the bosses with omnomberry bars too.

I farm cof and ac whenever I can, it’s good reliable money for people who simply cannot rely on lucky drops.

Beat the RNG, run cof. Do it while you still can because I am sure scumbag anet will nerf this very soon. You know what? They will probably go as far as to ban people who farmed cof under the reason of exploit.

Well, overall I think melee is a lot better for pve but not very good for pvp.

Just like how condi damage > direct damage in pvp and vice versa for pve.

bahahaha. This isn’t even a valid problem. Like others have suggested, if you really need to afk just log out or simply click the PVP tab and go to the Heart of the Mists.

I honestly wonder why they have this sort of bull**** in the first place. Simple things like being able to rejoin fractals if you disconnect, seriously Anet. And yes 3 person for kick is needed.

Anet and Nexon/NcSoft are starting to closely resemble another company I once gladly payed for their products, DICE and EA. You’ve already lost a ton of normal players in the recent months. Don’t let your most loyal fans walk out on you.

Those guilds made the right choice xD. One upside of this is having the luxury of SM waypoint. Seems like I hadn’t been able to use that in ages.

I am actually kinda disappointed that we are wrecking and in 1st place now because we have bigger queues at all times.

wtf happened? There’s usually never a queue at 3am pst. If we had this much coverage before, it would have been SoR going to T1 instead of BG. Did we have a sudden bandwagon come our way?

So, according to you, NA players should be able to just jump into maps and if one server chooses to completely ignore a map, then the other two should suffer. And players who bought and paid for a game should be denied the ability to play the game they bought because other servers don’t have quite as many in their time zone, so they get penalized for having more players. 24/7 coverage is nothing new to any RvR game. I’m sure your even numbered skirmishes with BG totally happened and you wrecked all of them. They made a video about their prowess. Where’s your video? If you don’t have one, maybe you should take a second to take your hands away from thumping on your chest and use them to look up a class guide so that you can become the PvP player that your server needs.

Well, with this theoretical player cap method, if a server chooses to completely ignore a map (which i’m sure would will never happen) the opposing players would still be able to play, with a player cap of course. Say, around 30? The server would not be able to simply ignore the map. Once the server starts sending players to defend, the player cap will rise and the next 30 or so queued players will join. The player cap will go down and up according to how many players queued from the 3 servers so that no server can have an overwhelming player count advantage. Basically, the amount of queued players will remain relative to all the servers so there will be a balance of players on the field. They could also change the outmanned buff in many ways to help. Now, you may ask, what if a server really does ignore a certain map and the player cap stays at 30? Well, stay in your own region’s server.

SoR? Yep. Think what you will but population bias is a valid problem that can be solved. Until it is, Tier 1 is a joke and is something not exactly to brag about. Most people there are bandwagoners anyways lol. Skill-less zerging, power in numbers. I know this this by fact because 9/10 I get into a even numbered skirmish with BG I win, no problems. Tarnished Coast? Not gonna lie, they have their fair share of skilled players. I’ve had the same experience with other servers. T1 tends to have more players yet somehow, less skill.

Wow, have you people ever played a good p/d condition theif?

We have decent healing and damage. In my expereience of WvW I go against D/D Eles all the time and 9/10 I have no problem with them unless there are 2 or more.

You know what I don’t understand though? How are people saying ele is more mobile than thief? I have ran away from d/d ele easily successfully and easily whenever it becomes a 1v2+. It’s simple , roll away, roll away, Withdraw (with superior runes of the adventurer), roll away, roll away, switch to bow (with sigil of energy) roll away, Infiltrators Arrow x3. Nobody ever catches me like that.

dd ele is in no way op.

Yeah, this happens to me sometimes but less often now that I am more aware of it.

They should just get rid of all stealth skills and instead replace it with the effect : Steal 1 (edit, 1 Silver). Make the thief a real thief, not some assassin/ninja.

I do notice it but it’s usually on my part. The game doesn’t do it automatically.

Because many of the times, the actual effect is outside the circle. It’s incredibly annoying to be hit by the effect when you’re a step outside it.

To offset this, all you have to do is make the circle slightly bigger so that margin of error gone.

Bought a bunch of glues/wads right after seeing this. The prices have gone up to 70c for wads and 90c for glue now. Should have horded them when I saw them going for 4c last night.
As for wads/glue drops, wiki states they can be dropped by mobs or from gifts. I have yet to see either for myself though.

Its an extremely small chance at getting glue/wad from gifts. Out of every single gift I’ve opened (at least 300) I have gotten 25 Glue from one gift.

Ooh, this one was a real challenge. I like a challenge every so often.

IMO legendaries should be account bound.

I really like Snowden Drifts. I have no idea what is actually happening in that picture but it really appeals with pathos.

I have played three professions to 80: Mesmer, Warrior and Thief.

Mesmer: It was my first character so when I was lvling up in pve I didn’t think it was so bad UNTIL I saw warriors a rangers next to me doing as much a 3x the dps with about 1/3 of the work. Seriously. In the end though, it really pays off since you get an extremely versatile troll profession with a high skill cap. Great profession to play in WvW and pvp.

Warrior: You can probably guess why I chose warrior this time. They are just roflstomp in pve. However they are super bland in pvp and basically are sitting ducks in pvp. Easy learning curve to play though. I thoroughly enjoyed lvling up my warrior since it was so easy.

Theif: I chose this third because it’s such a versatile class. You can go out all dps do or die or go p/d with massive stealth and survivability. Absolutely enjoy playing this class in WvW. Pve? Not so much, pve experience was probably in the middle of being a sucky mesmer and a roflstomping warrior. WvW is so great with thief, I play p/d with an emphasis on survivability and stealth. I rarely ever die and when I get zerged all I have to do is stealth and run in the opposite direction. Another great thing about thief is that I can lead WvW noobs on a wild goose chase. The best experience I had with that was when I was still leveling up and still had crappy gear. I decided to go run around Eternal Battlegrounds just to see if people attack me and sure enough some people started chasing me across the map, over plains lakes and hills. They never could catch me so most of em gave up but there was one guy who REALLY I mean REALLY wanted to kill me. This mesmer (female) had a legendary Sunrise. Since I played Mesmer, I knew all the tricks and trades up her sleeve and avoided/dodged them easily. So I kept running and she kept chasing until I come across another player from the other server killing a Oakheart Veteran or something like that. I decided to join in and help the guy kill the Oakheart until the mesmer finally catches up. Mesmer attacks me and I stealth and go a couple yards away, the Mesmer then starts attacking the other server player (an asura). So I am just standing in the background watching them duel. I managed to get in an emote “Volke the Rogue cheers for Blackgate Invader” since I wanted him to kill the mesmer lol. Sure enough he downs the mesmer but for some reason he doesn’t finish her off and walks away LOL!!!!!!!! This is the best part, I go up to the downed mesmer and start shooting her a couple of times with my short bow just to interrupt her heals. I did this for awhile until she manages to summon a Phantasmal Rogue (and boy that thing hurts, especially since I was under-geared) so I make it look like as if I’m running away > Shadow Refuge > wait a couple of seconds and I finished her off in stealth. Seriously, highlight of my thief career.

TL:DR?Mesmer great pvp class. Warrior awesome pve class. Don’t chase thieves in WvW.

So you already used up the doll for a mini? I really want the endless doll tonic to finish people off in WvW.

The odds however are no where as bad as other RNG related things like precursor’s. Give it a try. I bet you’d have a good shot getting it 1-15 tries.

Really? I’m pretty sure you just got lucky. The chance is probably really low, it’s a endless tonic after all. I think your post is a bit misleading. Just because you got lucky doesn’t mean the droprate is high.

I would expect things like this to be glitchy. Hell, there are still a massive amount of traits and skill out there that don’t get/apply bonuses correctly.

Yeah, i’ve noticed this specifically with my close friend and I.

We run dungeons together and dragon events. He is consistently getting rares while I get blues. I don’t even remember the last time I got a rare from a dragon chest. While we run dungeons he always links me rares and I get blues. I am really thinking there is a bug.

I know RNG is RNG but it’s never ever been this bad for this long.

Right now it costs about 30c to puke! One could buy a tonic and tonic finish with that money.
