How about making “Stow Pet” ACTUALLY STOW THE PET?
One reason I don’t like roaming with ranger is because thieves can easily CnD off my pet for free stealth. The pet becomes a liability. It is also the reason why I see all rangers in WvW as free kills while roaming on my thief.
It’s too bad ranger is such a bad profession.
Thief. Best mobility in the game. When roaming, Mobility > Everything. You need to be able to escape zergs and angry mobs after you’ve ganked that lone straggler or contested their keep. You need to be able to kill that yak and move out.
Sword/Warhorn + GS warriors come close to thieves in mobility but they get leaps instead of shadowsteps. Leaps can easily be defeated by chill and cripple.
Forget about signet of shadows 25% speed increase. Centaur runes and Withdraw for permaswiftness, 33% speed increase.
I know for a fact sigil of agony stacks. I play p/d bleed thief and have to calculate condi duration so that none goes to waste if rounded down.
Actually the longbow looks nice. It would go well with CM medium armor.
I haven’t gotten a BLSK from daily in months.
However, I have gotten multiple BLSK’s in a row previously. I still have them in my bank to this day and only use on exotics or salvaging upgrade components.
RNG is RNG.
Ooh! I love consumables! Really hope they didn’t remove this. Then again, they banned like 95% of consumables in WvW. Oh do I long for the days when Pirate Peg Legs and Planks dominated the Obsidian Sanctum.

This makes sense. I was perplexed yesterday while mining ori and ancient in southsun on my ranger right after mining on my thief. The locations had changed! There was no new build and it was after daily reset time.
I have heard this answer a lot but it isn’t true. The node locations change way more often than that.
Location changes once a week. Respawn time is 24 hours.

How often or when do Orichalcum and Ancient node location changes?

I have have gotten so many different answers from people and the wiki I don’t know what is right. From my own observation it seems they change locations randomly and they respawn randomly.
I need a straight answer from someone who ACTUALLY KNOWS.

This was once a problem when the game released. This type of bug rarely ever happens to me nowadays and I am relatively familiar with the distance required for you to OOC.Very rarely the game will keep me in combat for a unusual amount of time but I usually disengage eventually.
Protip: for puzzle jumpers in combat, use Jump Dodge (Jump and dodge button pressed at the same time) to jump until you are ooc. Jump Dodge rolling speed and height is not effected by ooc or even cripple status.

I’ve always like Cloud Kingdoms ever since I got to the Kingdom of Zeal in Chrono Trigger. The Zephyr Sanctum kinda counts as one I guess, I really enjoyed that release. Maybe the Zephyrites have a main sky kingdom island they live on?
Also, Seas/Island It’s time to explore the unknown or what was once known.
We need some brave explorers to step up to the plate and chart the Unending Ocean, perhaps they’ll find Cantha. Perfect excuse to reinstate the hero system.
Living story is perfect for opening up new regions. I’m tired of festivals and SAB. Nothing would make me more happier if they added new explorable areas and made exploration meaningful.
God no do not listen to this guy on reinstating heroes it killed gw1 imo I hated the fact there was no player interaction then leave hero system dead or lose players yea we don’t like playing solo but adding heroes still makes it solo imo they don’t interact with you. You can’t start talking about last nights football game or animes no just no let dead dogs remain dead they are not touched by zhaitan
on topic Cantha please or stir something up to allow us the players to assist the tengu that might add some more things maybe as far as landscape who knows just I am dieing to give you my money for some in game lore that the tengu provide in their interactions that tell us about talon and cantha and the years after shiro
Forcing people to party for exploration is a bad idea. Dungeons are bad enough in that you have to find a group. I could understand forcing a party for dungeons but not for exploration. I personally hate group/party gated content. People can still interact with whoever they want. Nothing is stopping you from trying to interact with other players to form a party. Hell, a good player party is most likely better than having heroes anyways. I just prefer to have some npc’s than some incompetent pug, mind you. Hero system is needed.
I don’t know about you guys but I see an increase of ecto rates. That being said, a thread like this pops up every week. They won’t touch the salvaging rates.

I have enough gems to transfer a friend over to my server but there doesn’t seem to be any sort of gift option for transfers.
/laugh, /sit and /dance over my enemy’s dead are becoming a little bit dull.
It would be super awesome to add some more spice to the mix. I suggest the “Well! What is it!” taunt from Dark Souls. It’s hilarious. A taunt like this would be a great addition to any pvp and especially WvW.

While taking a dump at the mystic toilet today, I couldn’t help but notice it had a new sound effect.
It used to be a splash sound but now it’s a whole new flushing noise! It’s perfect.
The new flushing noise of the Mystic Forge is the best ever. Also, props for having the SAB pistol make a pew pew sound . Now you just need a proper sound effect for the Whisper’s Secret Pistol!

Suicide pills would have been nice…maybe you can let us buy some more of Scarlet’s boxes? Those would have been perfect for this situation.
In any case, Ill have to backtrack the beginning of world 2 again.

This keeps happening to me as well. Very annoying. Sometimes I will be able to drop down but when some1 starts attacking me I will crash which results in them getting a free kill and me having repair bills. It really kitten es me off.

Yes you probably will as all the other living stories persisted another two weeks when a new release comes.

edit: I just did it! Was akitteng in Lornar’s pass cause I power up my quartz in the priory base. I come back and we have 8 mins and the final minion bar is at 30%. I can’t believe we actually did it!

Disagree. I see this as one of the worse living story releases. The story segments and soloable parts (Scarlet’s Playhouse) were fine. I enjoyed the cutscenes very much. However, the main part of this release, the invasions were terrible. They served nothing but to cause inflation and quench the thirst of mindless farmers.
First of all, you get the same end rewards whether you kill Scarlet or not. Since not killing Scarlet give you more Champions and more loot, farmers will fail the event for the loot. What a terrible design, rewarding failure. I can’t get an achievement because of this.
The actual invasions themselves are not fun whatsover, it’s just like an other zerg fest and gets boring real fast. Do you know what I did to get my achievements for the invasions? I entered the invasion zone, tagged a couple of mobs and then AKF for 40 minutes. Yes that’s right, AFK for 40 minutes. I’ll get the same rewards as the rest of the zerglings, right? and no matter how much effort I put into it I, a single person, cannot get Scarlet to come out so why bother trying after I’ve already tagged my mobs? I have to rely on the zerg to make Scarlet out and the zerg would rather farm Champions.
I don’t blame the farmers for failing the event for more loot. Who could resist? It’s anet’s bad design that led to this. Hopefully they will learn from their mistakes.
Seriously, it’s simply bad design to reward failure. Why bother completing an invasion when you can just fail and farm champions all day?

That’s cool and all but I am frankly disappointed that a “sad tune” was not played.
Not exactly needless hoarding. I prefer having the stacks upon stacks of Watchwork Sprockets in a compact form as they took up a lot inventory space.
20g isn’t even that much for me but hey, I’m glad my misfortune brings you sad people some joy. I just hope this influences the devs in a positive way so that this type of thing doesn’t happen again.
So I had about 175 upopened Resplendent Watchwork Boxes and 90 gauntlet tickets from farming deadeye over the weekend. I come back today and now they’re worthless.
Thanks anet. You could’ve a least a warned the community or coded a separate item for the newly nerfed bags. Just a suggestion if you plan to nerf these type of things in the future.

I’m assuming you are talking about Deadeye. The people you seeing “blazing through and killing him effortlessly” have developed builds and strategy that focus on killing him as quickly as possible. They are farming him. If they do any other boss they will die.
All professions can defeat Deadeye though some can do it faster. You simply don’t have the right build.
I think the trouble is, that Anet pays their programmers less than their city’s regional garbage men.

I’m not happy with team of programmers earning less than industry standards, neither are they. It’s showing up in the product that we pay for. That’s a fact.

Looks like someone is jealous that he doesn’t have the right profession or build to farm. What if I told you that increasing his health wouldn’t deter farmers? They’d just make a better build that focuses slightly more on sustained damage vs burst damage.
Nope, RNG. Yesterday I threw in 50 rare greatswords and I got a bunch of exotics in a row (about 5) and then Dawn suddenly appeared. Later that night I threw in 50 more rare greatswords and got only 1 exotic.

Yeah I personally thought this was very unfair to thieves as we can’t use our builds to a full extent. I’m not sure whether it’s a bug or intended seeing that the perma-debuff was unique during the “Deadeye” boss.
Nonetheless, I was able to defeat all the enemies with my pistol condition build.
Hopefully, it is a bug like when they removed orichalcum ores at one point. I see no reason for BoH’s to be removed from the chests.
Lets be honest. It is indeed disappointing they are removing the coin drop from bosses thus removing the point of gilded infusion. However, those of us who got it early definitely got a good use out of it during the time it was useful.
Although I wouldn’t mind a refund, I highly doubt anet would do it.

I should’ve said this a lot sooner but the way the vendors have organized the sPVP runes and sigils is absolutely terrible. With all the different tabs of categories, it takes much much longer to find your runes and sigils now.
I like to hot join sometimes and test different builds. That means I’ll be going through different runes and sigils, this new layout is bad and takes longer to find said runes and sigils.
There is one simple way to solve this issue. Make a separate tab for “ALL” runes and “ALL” sigils. Heck, I wouldn’t even mind if it was in ABC order.

Condition thief can solo supply camps pretty easily.
