I would also like to add that the reason I got excited about storing all my currencies is because the release page announced it as such:
Account Wallet for Currency
Keep all of your currencies in one easy-to-find location!

I don’t get the “player dilution” argument. Keg Brawl has been out forever, there is nothing new or novelty about it, and many players didn’t even know about it, and other activities were going on at the same time (in the last two weeks, 3 other mini-games).
And yet it was never empty when I joined. Leaving and re-joining showed me that there were always several matches going on at the same time, too. (Edit: I mainly play during off-hours, too, as I am currently in Europe but playing on AN servers.)
As long as, between the entire population of hundreds of thousands of GW2 players, teams can be fielded at any point in time during the day, I don’t see how player dilution applies to or affects the mini-games.
We have enough GW2 players for 4 mini games at the same time to run multiple instances any minute during any day, so I really don’t see the necessity of putting them all on a rotation system. At all.

The achievement text is worded poorly. Redo the one in tje garden, upper level.

I’m pretty sure they simply forgot, same with dungeon tokens and crafting.

You can only get 1 pristine fractal relic per day. That’s it. That’s max.
Someone would have had to do a daily fractal run at level 10 or higher every single day for 250 days to have a stack.
I’m not sure the fractals have been out long enough for that to occur.
I’m not sure what the number of items has to do with it though. How many people carry around full stacks of laurels or guild commendation?
The point of the wallet is that you don’t have to carry the items around in your inventory when speaking to the various vendors, or WP to the bank first to retrieve them. And this is totally applicable to both pristine fractal relics AND event-based currencies (which, on top of it, players DO tend to have stacks of).
~ Whips ~ City Minigames ~ City Jumping Puzzles ~
The jade staff looked amazing and made me kind of upset that I don’t play any character right now that uses a staff. I considered creating a new character just so I had an excuse to get one and look pretty.
I actually like many of the existing staff designs and don’t get at all why people are complaining. Pistols, on the other hand? There are a preciously few that I find acceptable, and none of them beautiful (jade pistols, so far, were the best).
I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

4. Wallet Interface – I believe it would be better served if it was relocated. This is a picky point, but it is WAY too big, in my opinion. We don’t need huge pictures. Since we carry it with us all the time, I honestly think it would be better served as a tab below the bags on the inventory pane. This would also make it easier to check while doing other tasks. Having it in the H screen makes it very cumbersome and harder to look at on the fly, since it basically blocks out the entire screen.
I would prefer that, too, actually. Makes way more sense to me.
As for your list, I would like to add,
- Please add event-based currencies to the wallet. It makes little sense to have a wallet for some currencies, but not others.
~ Whips ~ City Minigames ~ City Jumping Puzzles ~
(This is going to blow your mind…) I voted for Kiel because I want to see the Thaumanova fractal.
~ Whips ~ City Minigames ~ City Jumping Puzzles ~
Probably wasn’t added because it would have messed up their nice big purdy wallet screen layout (ugly as sin).
What I find funny is the pristine relics weren’t added, but the normal relics which are required in mf recipes and cant be removed from wallet were.
Guess whoever came up with this idea has never upgraded or downgraded an essence.
Somebody definitely didn’t think this through.
~ Whips ~ City Minigames ~ City Jumping Puzzles ~
I had no idea, thanks for the hint!
That definitely solves problem #1.
Sadly, it does nothing for problem #2!
~ Whips ~ City Minigames ~ City Jumping Puzzles ~
I am not a fan of the grid layout (I really don’t see a reason to depict currencies as a matrix instead of a list, as the currencies don’t have anything to do with their upper, lower, left or right neighbour). This grid layout also limits ANet and effectively prohibits them from adding and other currency (see also: Pristine Fractal Relics).
Please add event-based currencies. (They are not “temporary” if you get to keep and use them after the event!)
~ Whips ~ City Minigames ~ City Jumping Puzzles ~
I think it is an absolute shame to introduce a new and useful tool, and then only implement it halfway. Such a waste.
With some minor changes, the account wallet could have been truly useful, even during events (which is, really, all the time).
~ Whips ~ City Minigames ~ City Jumping Puzzles ~
Eh, it was fine until the Aetherblades made an appearance. They are an overused plot device, yet do nothing to further the plot. Time and time again living story throws them at us, we defeat them quickly, and they disappear; which is beginning to leave a very ‘Team Rocket’ feel to them. I could be wrong as this chapter has not yet concluded, but I’ll be disappointed if they don’t start taking a serious role, rather than simply being lumped in every chapter.
“Overused plot device”? They were only introduced a two months ago… their story is in the middle of unfolding.
Did you think of the Molten Alliance as an “overused plot device” two months into “Flame and Frost”, too? :P
~ Whips ~ City Minigames ~ City Jumping Puzzles ~
It counted for me.
The wording of the achievement really should reflect that you need to make a specific run, and which one (there is a thread in the bug reports section for this if you would like to go and complain).
~ Whips ~ City Minigames ~ City Jumping Puzzles ~
Yes, the “daily activity” achievement only counts the four mini-games that are currently on rotation. You can access them through the NPC at Lion’s Arch’s Grand Piazza, as Claudius said.
The torchbearing thing has its own activity, which seems to be part of the daily rotation through achievements that that are specific to the Queen’s Jubilee festivities.
I can’t get my activity participation daily and the zephyrite ones (the ONLY ones mentioned on the wiki up to a few hours ago) are inaccessible.
I have updated the wiki now, last night I was busy playing the new content. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Activity

Zhaitaffy, Fortune Scraps. While you can eat the former, they are really just used to buy things? Especially the latter, which you can’t sell on the TP. Why isn’t there a wallet space for at least some of those?
Beats me.
~ Whips ~ City Minigames ~ City Jumping Puzzles ~
Yep, we all wish the zone would have stayed (stripped of kite ships, NPCs, events and items, of course).
~ Whips ~ City Minigames ~ City Jumping Puzzles ~
I didn’t really like it all that much.
After seeing the loading screen / wallpaper last week, I expected her to stand on a balcony and speak to the masses. Instead, her opening ceremony had all of… five guests? * scratches head * That really made no sense to me…
Jennah’s questionable tactics of celebrating her anniversary with illusion-based, hijackable, brand-new technology AND balloons while fully aware that the current threat is sky pirates teamed up with tech savvy, no-morale Asura? … That really made no sense to me either.
The rest was okay. I like Rox more and more and enjoyed her company, probably my favourite thing about this. And the Rytlock part I liked, too, although I missed what it was that he said to Logan and I couldn’t find it in the chat log later.
~ Whips ~ City Minigames ~ City Jumping Puzzles ~
So, I accidentally deposited my watchwork sprockets, not knowing that they were depositable (support tokens and fortune scraps weren’t); had to WP to the bank to get them out of the collectible tab; deposited them in my invisible bag; now carrying my watchwork sprockets in my inventory permanently so I can potentially spend them at NPCs.
What did you say was the wallet for? So we wouldn’t have to do this anymore, right?
:\
~ Whips ~ City Minigames ~ City Jumping Puzzles ~
Sorry for the confusion. In order to complete this daily, you need to do the Queen’s Torch Rally in the central garden of Divinity’s Reach.
The different torch runs have names?
Pretty sure that the achievement name doesn’t say so.

Getting out:
Leaving the Pavillion is currently taking longer than any A-to-B action in GW2 that I can think of.
In addition to the run down the walkway, you then have to go through 2 loading screens instead of 1, as the first one will always take you back to Divinity’s Reach, after which you can waypoint to wherever it was you were planning to go.
Oh yeah, forgot to say, you may have to fight your way through a mob of enemies on that bridge, too.
All in all, this is taking too long.
- Please implement a “door” icon in the bottom right corner so I can leave the instance, or at least
- Place a waypoint next to the exit
Getting back into gauntlet fights
Suffers from similar problems – if you lose, you find yourself on the upper walkway (weren’t you supposed to drop through the floor into the group event area, actually?!). After raising at the only available waypoint, you have quite a run back to the gauntlet NPCs. In addition to the queue.
This, too, could be addressed by the placement of an additional waypoint.
Getting back into group events
Is working fine.
~ Whips ~ City Minigames ~ City Jumping Puzzles ~
I got stuck in the queue indefinitely. I had gotten the yellow “you’re up next” message early on, but then nothing happened for the next 15 minutes while left and right of me new players were able to enter the domes. Eventually I left and re-entered which reset the process, but I did waste one ticket in the process.

I think it should be clear to Anet by now that whoever voted Evon voted like that with the Abbadon fractal in mind.
Very few of those who voted Kiel did so thinking of Tahumanova. I’d propose a new experiment – a new vote : Tahumanova vs Fall of Abbadon fractals – and let’s see then what the playerbase wants!
I specifically voted for the Thaumanova fractal.

~ Whips ~ City Minigames ~ City Jumping Puzzles ~
Actually, I find myself rather liking these.
Not for my main (she’s super-happy with the Jade set), but I have a mesmer with sort of a middle-eastern style thing going on, and in the absence of proper sabres, some of these weapons would make acceptable “desert-style” subsitutes.
And then there is my brand new Asura character, who I haven’t really dressed in anything yet, but I did have mesoamerican on my mind when creating her.
So, I’ll have to see whether or not I end up with any of these, but I think I would have use for them, which is more than I can say about Zephyrite, fused, sclerite, or SAB weapon skins.
~ Whips ~ City Minigames ~ City Jumping Puzzles ~
There is a ram somewhere in shiverpeaks (I think) near a jumping-related vista that looked at me judgingly when I repeatedly fell and had to start over.
He is sort of my nemesis now. I think of them often during all sorts of jumping puzzles.
Don’t judge me, ram.

That’s a good idea. It’s a little unorthodox, but it works.

Would you be as upset if your fractal would have won?
A lot less people would be upset.
I don’t know how you make this assessment. Based on the number of votes, the first thought that comes to mind that more people would have been upset it Kiel would have lost – she did get the majority of votes, after all.
But this is based on counting all votes, not the individual players.
In order for your statement to be true, fewer people would have had to vote for Kiel with many support tokens each, and more people would have had to vote for Gnashblade with fewer support tokens each.
The consensus on the forums right now, though, is that most of Kiel’s votes came from many casual gamers with few vites each, and Gnashblade’s votes mainly came from few hardcore players with many votes each.
So if anything that means that Kiel winning made more individual players happy.
So, she really won in both support token numbers and (we assume) voter numbers.
Unless you know something I don’t, in which case, please share.

Keep in mind that all Charr names according to lore should be derived from Latin as it’s the unsaid rule when ArenaNet names NPCs.
There are plenty of Charr NPCs whose first names are not Latin based. (Dinky, for one.) (I literally just looked at a list of Charr NPCs.)
As for the last name, the first OR the second part can reference the warband. A Sylvan Mystblade could just as well be part of Blade warband.
~ Whips ~ City Minigames ~ City Jumping Puzzles ~
The majority of people who voted for Kiel weren’t voting on her based on the fractal, the sentiment I get from Kiel supporters is “I dont care about fractals” “I don’t even run fractals” “I voted for her because I like HER better” (note voting on the candidate rather than the content) “Cheap waypoints > RNG keys!” “I voted for her because I don’t like RNG!” and worst of the worst “I voted for her because she has bewbz!”
I run fractals. I voted for Kiel because of the Thaumanova fractal. So did the majority of my GW2 friends, all of who run fractals with me regularly.
It has accomplished nothing but ticked off hundreds of thousands of people by teasing them with content that they will NEVER get now.
Would you be as upset if your fractal would have won?

Diving goggles or no diving goggles, I will certainly do this later.
~ Whips ~ City Minigames ~ City Jumping Puzzles ~
- Interesting stuff happening – pro Thaumanova
- Interesting teamplay mechanics – pro Thaumanova
- Stuff to do other than fighting – pro Thaumanova
just noticing some of your ‘pro’ thaumanova. Since you haven’t seen either fractal you have absolutely NO idea at all about stuff happening, mechanics or stuff to do.
Sorry but you’re just making crap up like you can compare to fractals that haven’t even been made. For all you know it could be one room with a inquest pushing the wrong button and the reactor blows. big deal.
You obviously haven’t read the rest of my post, so I will quote some of the stuff for you:
So, why none of us have the faintest clue about how the reactor fractal will look and feel, let alone how the Abaddon fractal would have looked and felt, it is my opinion, based on my own assumptions (obvisouly), that some of these points will be covered better by one fractal than the other:
- pro Thaumanova
(I find reality bending more interesting than gods. It’s a personal thing.)- equal
- pro Thaumanova
- pro Thaumanova
(for these two, assessment based on existing math element / logical puzzles / abundance of experimental environmental weapons in Asuran events, and the Aetherblade mid-boss fight.)
I don’t know how to make it any more obvious or clear to you that yes, I am very aware that I am “making crap up” and admitted as much, but anyway further down stated how I came to my own conclusions.
(Maybe italics don’t stand out enough, so I have made them bold for you in addition so it is super easy to see even for the laziest of people!)
If you’re having a cheap go at me for being of a different opinion than you, it isn’t working. But thanks for your input anyway, it really contributes new insights to the discussion.
