Okay, but you could post a suggestion in the suggestions forum, do a survey to see how other players feel about it, and get a discussion going.
The distinction is somewhat arbitrary. Anyway, don’t call it “petition” and you’ll be fine.

I know i get hate for this,
i opened 5 chests and got 1 ticket, 1 scrap and 1 level up book.First time i am lucky in this game.
I’ve had a similar experience yesterday. I had one single key saved up for the evening. Opened one chest. Got one ticket. Keeping it fo later
For reference though, I have no fused or sclerite weapons.
I do have a few jade skins, but I dumped basically all my gold to get them, buying a stack of coffers a day until yesterday, finally, two jade tickets dropped.
I think yesterday was my super lucky day.
The best of luck to all of you who want Aetherized weapons! May RNG be kind to you.

I’m a bit disappointed as it seems we don’t get to explore the depths of the collapse.
Yes, same here.
I did dream of a jumping puzzle down (or back up) the Great Collapse.
Alternatively, had I know, I would have liked to make one final jump down there.

Weapon and armour pieces are prefixed. “Knight” is one such prefix. It means that the weapon or armour piece gives a bonus to Toughness/Power/Precision.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Item_nomenclature
Then the rune you slap on gives another bonus on top of that.
So the build site suggests that you get a “Knight’s Helmet of Hoelbrak”. I think.

A long time back, you added the ability to craft without having to extract items from the bank. Could the same be done with the daily `fuse 25 crystals’ process? It would save unnecessary fuss of having to go to town to access the bank, then return to the place of power.
+1
It is exactly like refining any other crafting material, and I see no reason to treat it any differently.

Class balance is horrible anyway with many useless builds.
And again I ask; how would introducing dual-classing help that?
I’m not saying it will I’m saying that given that balance is horrible anyway its not a reason not to have dual classes.
The house is on fire, that’s bad. So instead of putting water on it (good), let’s dump gasoline on it, because well, it’s already on fire, right?
What great logic.
You know that there are people in the world who literally fight fire with fire, right?
PS: not condoning dual classes in GW2, just being a smartkitten here.

And daily kill variety, although all ambients are counted as one type.
Even crabs?
Well I haven’t checked killing every ambient creature type there is when the Daily Kill Variety achievement is on, but at least most of them seem to fall under one type.
Yeah, they should, I’m just asking because crabs count towards “Shell Slayer”, not “Ambient Slayer” for some reason, so they might be treated differently here, too. I will try it out next time I see Daily Kill Variety on the list.

Hello, people in this thread. I just got up and ready for work, and I have to say I’m kind of sad that I missed this entire story happening during my night.
Because I really want to say to you: learn to look beyond your own noses; your lives will be more awesome for it.

It would make these items actually feel like bonuses rather than clutter. It would encourage players to use them when they need it most— those armor, regen and power boosters that you forget to have in your bags, could be used when a dungeon or fractal run is going particularly roughly.
Very good suggestion.
I am totally guilty of always having the wrong bonus item on any of my characters, and/or forgetting to actually use them.
I would love to see this implemented.

I might need to double check on that later Pixelpumpkin. I didn’t notice two categories when I looked last, but I suspect you are correct.
Yeah, in the weapon mastery achievement panel, they’re called “Speargun”, “Trident” and “Harpoon” – I have mistaken “Harpoon” to mean harpoon gun before.
~ Whips ~ City Minigames ~ City Jumping Puzzles ~
So because I can’t visit that particular subforum every few minutes, it means I have to learn to ignore it, and in consequence, I will miss when the actual release notes go live. That would make me very, very unhappy.
Worse because there’s an update scheduled for today.
Please fix this so I don’t have to press F5 every few minutes like some sort of obsessed lunatic. e_e Thank you.
~ Whips ~ City Minigames ~ City Jumping Puzzles ~
It might just be plain bugged. I run an Engie main and have since launch. He uses a harpoon gun underwater. His only option. I do a LOT of farming underwater, yet my harpoon kills only register something like ‘20’. This is obviously bugged.
Are you looking at harpoon/spear (same thing) or harpoon gun/speargun (also same thing)? The wording in the weapon mastery achievements mislead me before, too. (I main an engi)

I personally never had more than 17 gold – and I’m playing actively etc. etc.
Yeah, I have 80 gold on me right now. (I’ve been playing since release, but I don’t run CoF or farm anything ever.)
In all fairness though, the reason it is “only” 80 gold is that I have spent substantial sums on dragon coffers, 3 sets of exotics per character, even commissioned some out of game art, and other luxuries. Most people save up 200 gold at some point to get the “Golden” achievement/title, that’s why I picked that number.
So if you don’t have 200 gold, then
- you haven’t been playing long enough to have 200 gold
- you haven’t been playing enough hours per week to have 200 gold
- or you simply spent it all on other stuff, like me, but wouldn’t have had to.
Point is, I can afford waypointing, and with 17 gold, so can you.
~ Whips ~ City Minigames ~ City Jumping Puzzles ~
u r all sure a killed Ambient creature counts as a kill, i thought they didnt !?
Killing ambient creatures doesn’t count for daily kills, daily maguuma slayer etc., but funny enough, it does count towards weapon mastery. It’s nifty, too, because any blow is automatically the killing blow, so that would be the easiest way to test whether your focus warden counts or not.
(And ambient slayer, and shell slayer.)

New plan:
1. Make Abaddon Fractal
2. Characters go in
3. See diety, go blind
4. Entire fractal has to be played in complete darkness
5. Development cost of new fractal: $15.99

Achievement Tiers —- There is no depth to the jumping puzzle achievements other than if you get it once then you get 10 achievement points. That’s fine and dandy, but I believe there is a large enough crowd of people in the game that are drawn to these that you could create some more achievements and even a title, that’s right a TITLE
Enigmatic Emissary – Complete each jump puzzle once 25 Points
Jump Master – Complete each jump puzzle three times 50 Points
Puzzle Connoisseur – Complete each jump puzzle five times (Title) 70 points
I like the idea of tiers, but instead of completing the entire puzzle so and so many times, why not incorporate something akin to easy and hard mode:
- Completing JP with checkpoints gives you an achievement
- Completing JP without needing to use checkpoints (in one go) gives you a second achievement
- Completing JP in a certain timeframe gives you a third achievement
And similarly
- Completing WvW JP in a PvE instance gives you an achievement
- Completing WvW JP in the PvP instance gives you a separate achievement
(This, by the way, would also give people the opportunity to get to know the different sanctums before exposing themselves to the enemy zerg, which I think is desired by many PvEers.)
Also like the agent of entropy I feel there should be an achievement where you get 10 more achievement points for every 100 jump puzzles that you complete, and it is never ending, because as it’s been suggested some of us greatly enjoy them.
I don’t want to appear greedy, and I know the whole concept of Agent of Entropy is disputed anyway). I’d be up for it if it was implemented, but I think monthly puzzle jumper kind of already covers this.

Actually, waypointing becomes cheaper with higher levels.
35 copper for a low level character whose total capital is under one gold is a lot of money. 1.65 silver for a high level character who owns 200 gold to their name is not a lot of money.
However, this only applies to your first character.
Any alt you create later will still only pay 35 copper (or whatever it is), but you already have your 200 gold (or whatever…) in the bank, which makes waypointing (and repairing) really, really super cheap for alts.
So in essence, waypointing and repairing gets relatively cheaper with levelling, and insanely much cheaper with any further character you create.

I had a thing from Groupon, too, so it wasn’t actually any more expansive than any other 1000 pieces puzzle you buy in a toy store (including shipping).
The whole process was really painless. I made another one for my mum’s birthday (a photo of my sis and myself).
And I didn’t post it on here because I didn’t make anything (uploading something doesn’t really count as “art” :p )

Always read on release date order.
Sometimes authors make references to previous works, and you won’t get them if you don’t read them by release date order.
Why would an author make a reference to something they (or somebody else!) have written before, but that plays “in the future”, and if they did, how would that impact my ability to understand what’s going on?
On the contrary, in Ghosts of Ascalon, events and people are referenced that are vastly elaborated on in Edge of Destiny, which was released after.
I am reading them in order of release now, but halfway through the second one, I still think I would have been happier if I would have stuck to the chronological order.

The new folder “Game Release Notes” keeps getting marked as “unread” even though no new posts were added.
When I click “Game Release Notes” and go back, it is marked as read (as it should be). A few minutes later, it appears to have unread posts in it, so I click “Game Release Notes” again, but see no new posts.

POI – point of interest
HoM – something to do with GW1 and rewards that “carried over” …?
~ Whips ~ City Minigames ~ City Jumping Puzzles ~
- Base them on existing or future GW lore – most of the existing legendaries seem to be pretty random and arbitrary in name & looks.
- Since there won’t be a HUGE variety of available per weapon type, it would be really awesome if we could dye any particle effects any colour, as to make them fit the current character’s outfit and personality. For instance, Red flames, green flames or black flames would completely transform a flaming sword into something with a personality.

To be honest, I don’t know what you mean. You want a class that has some spells from other, already available, spellcaster classes?
Because I feel that the game really lacks the mystery
Please explain
The ele is too much using substantial skills and the mesmer is the opposite.
Please explain
fireballs,
Elementalist
illusions,
Mesmer
magical seals,
No idea what you mean by “seals”
calling mythical creatures healing,
Necromancer
teleporting
Mesmer
summoning storms and such.
Elementalist
Looks to me like you’re not looking for a new class with its own unique mechanics and style, but rather are annoyed that you can’t have everything in one package (I want the warrior’s greatswords skills, and a pet, and turrets!)

Story-wise, I’d vote for Ellen Kiel (and that’s what I’m gonna do, probably).
Bonus-wise, I’m indifferent. I neither need cheaper waypointing nor BL keys.
Fractal-wise, I’m more interested in the Reactor, so again, Ellen Kiel.
Seems like a done deal, right?
But then my boyfriend pointed out something this morning that I hadn’t considered. The Abaddon fractal might come with new models/textures while the Thaumanova story wouldn’t require them. But I would like to see new models and textures. It’s still speculation, of course.
Anyway, before you lot welcome me to the dark side: I’m still going to vote for Ellen; however, if Gnashblad wins, I’m going to have fun with the new content anyway. And PS: waiting for him to d evil things and eventually removing him from his position will be fun, too.
