I personally like Aureate Charm and Blood Seeker.
Here’s a gallery for you.

Technically speaking the Tengu should also fall within this supposedly No-Asia ban. Tengu are obviously based on the Japanese mythical creatures with the same name. So, No Cantha, No Tengu.
You’re half right, but the cause of removing Canthan district is the debate over Chinese and Korean housing design. It has nothing to do with Japanese culture whatsoever.
a lot of the dungeon bosses barely seem to notice the stuns

Was busy playing and didn’t really thought about screenshots until I was in the 40s. A lot of things have changed, but there’re 3 things that have always stayed with me, my fern hound, my brown bear, and my superior studded pants.
And that’s why people hate dungeons.
Just because you want a coordinated team with good communication don’t mean other want the same or have the time to wait hours for another “pro”. Dungeons are for grinding and the faster way is go with anyone willing to grind them.
If you don’t like that, you can easily spam “Pro player LFG, only pros like myself, no noobs allowed” and done, no need to push your personal preferences into other, I’m sure you can always found people who think like you.
Oh no, I’m not calling myself pro, I’m just questioning why this basic thing isn’t known to the wide public.
In the past month of dungeon runs for armors for several of my characters, I have noticed that a lot players, not just newly joined players, but also experienced ones, don’t know what these are or don’t pay attention to them.
These passive buffs on champs should not be overlooked. With good coordination and communication. Parties can use CC skills to interrupt a lot of boss attacks to either stop a deadly blow or making the kill faster.
So why aren’t people paying attention to them? Is it because it’s not explained in the game? Or do people simply choose to ignore them?
ITT people who think warrior is okay where it’s at because 100b can hit the highest of any move on non moving, scripted pve mobs
No one is forcing you to use greatsword though, everyone knows axes are more consistent dps than HB.

Current topic: PvP
I have heard some players send coppers to random people they came across just to creep them out.
Found this bug from a forum that was posted yesterday.
Use fern hound’s F2 “Regenerate”, swap pet, regeneration applied by fern hound will decrease to only 5 health per tick. Will only happen if pet is swapped while regeneration applied by fern hound still persists.
GW1 was mostly populated with NA and EU players, but GW2 is a completely different story. Anet(and NCSoft) has big plans for GW2, including releasing it in both Chinese and Korean language(the official Chinese site have been up for months). With the Canthan district in the BWE’s, Anet’s Chinese overlords and Korean Dictators aren’t happy about that, so it was completely destroyed and said to be massive landslide due to poor construction(as all Chinese buildings are). Since Chinese and Koreans will never likely to become friends and agree on letting Anet having buildings with both of their architectural styles, there would probably never be a Canthan related map in GW2.
Here’s the interview for those who don’t know the cause of Great Collapse:

Why settle for a hammer when you can go with a machine gun instead! :P
2h hammer would kinda neat though, but 1h mace I don’t like mainly because I don’t like 1h maces!
Now imagine if the mace took on the look of a Hammer or Wrench when equipped as a skill of the Engineer.
I believe you two are looking for this:

I suggest posting this in both sPvP and WvWvW forums, so you get a wider range of players.
lol, no wonder Anet never publish another in-game data after BWEs. What’s surprising to me is the number of engi’s and thieves, thought their numbers would be reversed.
I find the dodging daily hard to pull off because I always just walk out of attacks or dodge early in overworld PvE. There’s really no need for me to dodge at the very last second. It’s rewarding me for worse gameplay while I can do much better. And it’s just immersion breaking and punishing for players who like playing ranged and those who are experienced to evade attacks early.
Engi, ranger, necro will all cry quietly in the corner until some day the devs decide to take pity on them.
It was removed because it was bugged.
I don’t know how the player base and Anet define “bugged,” but a friend and I completed it under 15 minutes after the update, there are also countless other players who have done it on the day of update.
Wait… people still don’t know dailies reset at the exact same time every single day regardless of when you complete them? No wonder there are people QQing about laurels.
I think it’s a fun daily to do, though confusing for most players because they don’t communicate with each other, so I would suggest that bring it back, but instead of 10 ally combo kills, change it to around 15 personal combos which doesn’t require to be the killing blow but still need to kill a mob to get credit.
If you keep a party invite untended, it’ll keep flashing at the corner of your screen. It’s not spam in anyway, it’s just the way invites work.
I am seriously not that bothered that I wasn’t able to get 1 laurel.
The thing most annoying, and the main reason I don’t feel like letting it go is that it’s not the first time that Anet screws up because nobody thought about stuff in advance.
If you’re that annoyed over 1 laurel, you need to stop playing MMOs. Anet probably did think this through, decided to make the laurel available for 3 hours knowing that a part of their userbase wouldn’t get it, and thought : “Meh who cares it’s just 1 laurel”.
let me put something in BOLD for you from what I said.
I am seriously not that bothered that I wasn’t able to get 1 laurel.
Let me rephrase his quote for you.
If you’re that annoyed over Anet, you need to stop playing their games. Anet probably did think this through, decided to make the laurel available for 3 hours knowing that a part of their userbase wouldn’t get it, and thought : “Meh who cares it’s just 1 laurel”.
I am sorry but it’s clear you don’t know what you are talking about.
People did 2 dailies in one day.
There’s nothing to argue about here. It was Anet’s fault that they didn’t say that the patch would have also involved a daily reset.
OR they could have waited and push the patch a few minutes prior the scheduled reset.I want my jug of karma and 1 laurel.
I am sorry but my time zone always allows me to complete 2 dailies in one day, which I did 3 total at the day of the patch, one before and one after the patch and another right after reset, as it always resets at 4 P.M. for me. If you still think it’s Anet’s fault, then maybe you should take this to the suggestion forum and tell them to make it better, otherwise I see nothing wrong here.
Yes, and I got the daily that reset at the normal time, however there was an extra reset that day, and that is the problem. When the patch came out at 4PM EST, the daily reset even though it normally is not supposed to with a patch, and people playing during those 3 hours could get 2 daily achievements in 1 day. That is the issue, and it has nothing to do with what you just posted about.
Unlucky you then, you need to work all day long for an extra day of daily in a game just so you can catch up in digital numbers. You won’t be able to do anything else because you will waste all those time on a game that is supposed to make you relax from real life stress.
I feel as though I have been legitimately handicapped by having missed a misimplemented daily.
It’s just one day.
wasn’t expecting that sort of a reset… there was no warning, so I had no idea that it was happening
Dailies reset every single day at the exact same time, including the day of patch.
Not telling us that this would happen is even worse than letting it happen in the first place.
Really? Because it always has been like this for 5 months now, and you feel the need to complain just now.
Those are 25 points I can never get back.
They are converting old achievements to the “new system”. Some of your A-points will just go poof, how do you feel about that?
A friend and I got combo killer 15 minutes after we logged in. Missed that day? Welp, unlucky for you, you need a single day of daily to catch up.
Most things that were changed to create money sinks are almost all proposed by Crystin Cox, the former Nexon employee, which is no surprise at all.

If you read the notes it says that if you have completed that map already prior to the update you will not receive any further notifications to say you need to re-complete tyhe map. just log in to the map area and then activate the missing way points, it will bring you back to 100% for that area
If you read the notes it says that “Players that have already achieved map completion will retain it without having to discover these new waypoints.”
…into the title “Been there, Done that” completion for those who have already completed those maps. Upon finishing WvW maps, I have gotten my star and my gifts of exploration, but the title “Been there, Done that” is still at 99%, with some map checking, I found that the 2 new waypoints in Orr have not been added into map completion.
i prefer the term “balanced” and “balancing”
I guess engineer is the most “balanced” class by your terms.
These new dailies are so easy and diverse I don’t feel like I’m doing the exact same thing over and over and over again every single day.
Now I have 2 laurels.
I have no idea why you people couldn’t get it. A friend and I did it under 15 minutes of logging on after update. Quite easy when both of us clearly knows what we’re doing and can communicate with Skype-like program. Now we both have 2 laurels.
There was a four day trial back in November along with the Lost Shores events, but there aren’t any more news regarding more trial events or account.
Similar issues with Ranger bows “a flower garden” or “my little pony bow”, what a choice…
I think you lucked out with at least an “ok” rifle..
Both flower and pony sounds awesome to me! You guys are the lucky ones. But rangers can also use some more weapons, as OP said, engineer can not.
True i can, but why would i? I’m a ranger bows are their bread and butter, also i stopped thinking gardens and ponies on my back were cool at age 13…
I don’t know about you, but I would love to get my Sylvari ranger a Kudzu.
Your stats changes with the zones, not the maps. Which means even if you’re still in the same map, the level scaling would be different for each area in the map. When you move from one area to another in the same map, your stats will scale in a different rate. Note that this only down-scales you, so your stats won’t increase when you go to a higher level area/map, unless in the WvWvW, where everyone gets up-scaled to 80.
If personal skill were to be considered while buffing/nerfing classes, then warriors should be nerfed in PvE because it’s the only class that can 1. solo Arah, 2. solo AC, 3. solo CM, 4. solo Lupicus under 7 minutes.
(edited by Recycle.5493)
the f1-4 should be switched to kit swaps like attunements
I just started level an engineer after my elementalist, and I’m using this exact same set up. It actually helps me a lot in combat. However, I believe the OP is talking how the tool kits can be actual weapon sets instead of utility skills.

Ok but do I have to use TWO FINE trasmutation stones for each piece?
Yes, you need TWO fine transmutation stones to do that for each piece. But really, this is an exploit that is not intended, it’s just that Anet hasn’t say or do anything against it.
It also boost their fine trans stone sell if it isn’t obvious enough.
I actually do the mob killing afker a lot, it’s a lot of fun and really satisfying to watch their every piece of armor gets destroyed slowly in the process. Yes, I just want to watch others suffer, no other particular reasons. I do it whenever I see characters standing in some places with mobs around, even if they’re not afking.
You could use frenzy yourself as a warrior to gain double attack speed for a short time. Ranger and thief also have similar abilities for their own use.
There is a vet spider event in the ruins in the SW of timberline falls that spawns on top of the commune skill point there that does not scale down correctly.
There is a vet spider that spawns outside of the event in the same location that does spawn correctly.
Yup, I know exactly what spider you are talking about. My ele is able to solo most group event champions in 15 minutes but this spider is labeled as a veteran and it took me 30 minutes and three attempts to kill it.
Usually I can send my earth elemental on to a champion and grab a commune skill point while they fight but this spider was killing my elemental in two shots.
I have also fought that spider with my ele. It took me, a lvl 80 ele with full exotic soldier gears and my friend, lvl 60 something engi a good 10 to 15 minutes to kill it.
I think it’s great that there’re waypoints in each temple, that way I can do my own things while checking on them every 30 or so minutes. If they’re open, I could switch to my alt and teleport there to buy basically “free” armors(since I don’t want to make legendaries).
Really? A friend of mine got DC’d in the dungeon and he got the update after he was kicked out. He wasn’t able to get into the dungeon when he gets back on, and he couldn’t get the dungeon completion rewards.
We hav no reason to doubt their honest
Sigil of the Night is best to put on an AC weapon, so you’ll know when it’s active when the weapon itself starts to emit that ghostly mist.
