It’s the Citadel of Flame armor set, you can get them from the dungeon merchant in LA using flame legion carvings.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Citadel_of_Flame_armor
As a side note, the chest piece of the medium set will hide any shoulder piece you have, the medium shoulder piece actually look a lot like the light one if equipped with other chest piece.

It’s funny to see that only one dev plays and cares about rangers and actually communicates with players. Anet needs more devs like Robert Hrouda.
Because of the massive numbers the burrows now spawn, the stage will be very laggy and culling will often occur, elementalists are a must have.Your best bet would be having 1 person defend for the front burrow, the other 4 take care of the rest. 2 elementalists dropping ice bows, other 2 take them, and 2 at a time rain arrows onto the burrows. After the first 2 on the side and the corner, front guy can take care of the burrow and move on the the next one on the right, the rest of the team follow and drop fiery greatswords and destroy the remaining 2 and/or defend Hodgins.
The ranger greatsword and mesmer scepter block are the only weird ones that don’t do much damage.
It’s not that Counterattack doesn’t do much damage, it’s just that ranger greatsword has low damage overall. Counter attack is actually the highest damaging skill out of GS (Swoop deals a lot less damage than what it’s shown on tool-tip). Mesmer’s blocks’ purpose is to create more clones, which in term could be shattered to deal decent damage with a shatter build.
There’s no realism with rangers……we should have to spend years training pets to follow us around and obey commands!
You’re right, pets should now drop dead and gets deleted from pet list whenever their health reach 0, and then rangers have to find and tame the same kinds of pets again.
To see every story path you need:
-3 lvl 80
-3 of each race (because the 1st and 2nd part has 3 choices each) (total = 15)Thats all.
Some people just do the personal story up to 30 and then delete the character. I had a charr engineer around level 25 and then deleted them and made it an elementalist
Or you could just make them all warriors if you just want to rush through everything.
Male ranger
F1 command(attack)
“Go for the throat!”
When pets recover from empty health in combat:
“You will not die on my watch.”
“It is not the time to die yet, get up.”(Unsure about this one)
End of a dungeon:
“That was fun, can we go again?”
(edited by Recycle.5493)
Recycle you might want to send in a ticket asking if this is legal according to the devs. Cant remember if they said this was permitted or not. Would hate for you to get banned cause you don’t want to carpel tunnel syndrome.
It doesn’t give me an unfair advantage over other players and it doesn’t automate my gameplay, I don’t see the point where this would get me banned.
Edit: Here’s a respond from Anet if you’re interested
From Gaile Gray (Support Liaison):
“As you are aware, we cannot approve or review or “vet” any third-party program; that is a given. However, our position is somewhat different than the one expressed in the GM response, so I’ve already contacted the team to be sure that everyone is on the same page.
Our general statement is that anything that gives advantage is forbidden. There are many utilities that help the player without taking a hit on others, without, for instance, being a detriment to the other players in a match. TexMod is one example of a program that doesn’t really give anyone an advantage over someone else. I’ve heard about certain programs that help disabled players, and those seem just fine, too. And of course there are others. We can’t say “Sure, use this and that and that other thing” because that’s tantamount to “approval,” but we do recognize the distinction between advantage-giving programs and those that simply make it easier to play the game under specific circumstances."
(edited by Recycle.5493)
It’ll never happen because Anet will need to earn some money from gem store, and one of the most consistent and sustained sell would be the transmutation stones.
Your “idea” will never happen unless you get players to boycott gem store, which will happen in….. never.
Just saw a Charr ranger with Sunrise in CoE a few days ago, and it looks awesome on him, I would say definitely worth it if that’s your play style even without the buff. I myself is working toward Volcanus right now, just 280 more molten lodestones to go.
That veteran has always been hitting hard since BWEs, the “shade” kind of creatures have always has a unique “expand” move that hurts a lot if you don’t dodge. If you see them shrinking and pulling back their “face”, dodge, or they’ll expand and hit a large angle in front of them.
Ranger gs > stealth thief
Bad thieves are just easy mode for rangers, especially now that stealth doesn’t lose aggro. My wolves eat thieves for breakfast.
And now we can’t place anything in the slot where the stack of material originally was, no one can.
Edit: added video
(edited by Recycle.5493)
I’m guessing that a lot of people don’t know the numbers that pop up during Rapid Fire is actually the accumulating damage of the skill duration, meaning it just adds the damage from the previous shot(s) with the current shot and shows the total number, not per-hit damage. Greatsword auto + Maul come really close to the damage you deal with Rapid Fire (don’t forget bleed from Maul).
Edit: Of course, I maybe wrong. Further testing is required.
(edited by Recycle.5493)
I was asking if someone could invite me to a dungeon.
Um… No you didn’t. And no, it’s a lvl 75 dungeon and no one will invite you to it because you’ll just be a burden to the team, who can’t do anything at all, and bring the team down or making the run a lot longer than it is intended for.
Even if you do find people who are stupidly kind and are willing to waste hours everyday for a week straight, you will not be able to wear the armors because they’re all lvl 80 gear. Even if you do transmute them, they will cost you tons of “fine transmutation stones,” not just normal ones, and judging from your post I’d guess you don’t even have 1 gold total in your account, so you’ll need to pay a lot of real life money if you want to transmute them.
QZ does not give you plus damage in direct meaning. It speeds up your skill uses, so you can do slighly more damage in that example of 10 seconds.
No QZ and ZS don’t give better damage stats wise, but as they speeds up skill casting and recharging speed, in term increase the overall dps. They are a must-have in a burst build and could be really useful for dungeoneering with speed rezzing or killing trash/boss in a limited time frame.
See, there you go again, without googling for such a simple question.
Salvaging rare or exotic items with a required level of 68 or higher will yield between 0 and 3 Globs of Ectoplasm.
I would try this build and modify it to my liking if I were you.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/elementalist/Guide-Mastering-the-D-D-ele-3-13-12/
Just noted, they said “Longbows are very powerful”
OMG. Third the damage as a Warrior or Thief.
Wow, I guess what devs are playing really is different than us. Either that or they use QZ and ZS on CD without considering leaving it for sticky situations and have really bad players to play against.
high burst and tanky build….
These 2 things contradict each other, there is no such thing as “high burst AND tanky build.” If you want damage, you have to sacrifice your survivability, if you want to be tanky, you will have less dps. You could have really high damage and burst down everything you see and die at a touch of an enemy, or you could be really tanky but takes considerably longer time to kill anything.
They only add about 4~6 stat bonuses and the bear/toughness one does not work properly(gives healing power instead).
Since we already have the [+1] function in place and working, I purpose that adding a [-1] function would further improve our forum experience. Having a post grayed out when it has a large amount of [-1], and making a thread with exceedingly high amount of [-1] not go to the top when there’s a new post added to it.
Are you here to troll? Do you even read what others’ answers? Aren’t you already good at you warrior? Or was it just a lie and you still suck at every single thing you do?
If you do know how to do dungeons and have a set of exotic armors, why don’t you do some more dungeons and exchange some exotic weapons at the dungeon vendors? Or do you not even read what the npc says? Do you not remember how EVERYONE told you to google and wiki before asking a question? Are you really that forgetful we need to remind you every single time and you still don’t remember?
Also in the vid: They say that Longbow has nothing to protect itself with and they’re buffing utilities so it can protect the ranger to a certain extent. And then there’s the buff going to maul in both damage and condition duration.
inb4 more QQ about “thats not what i want!”
Yeah, they’re just fixing GS to its glorious pre-nerf BWE state, while doing nothing to other weapon sets. For example, spirits, which were nerfed along side GS after BWEs, shortbow, “graphic glitch” and “not fun auto attacking” nerf, off hand axe that you rarely see anyone using because it’s just bad, pets that no one wants in the fractals, etc. etc.
Idk, seems like the QQ is justified.
People group together in events for easier mob tagging. As most of the players now know that you need to deal a certain percentage of a mob’s health to qualify for exp/loot, grouping makes it a lot easier because dealt damage for kill credit is shared in a group, so as long as you have hit the mob for once, you group’s damage will take care of the rest. It’s good for solo people to still kill mobs and get kill credit in events when they die almost instantly
nobody said Ele? really?
Do you even read? There’re at least 5 posts in this thread that have mentioned elementalist.
Having played all the professions, I think that condition necro has probably the best scepter-wielding build out there. Other classes other than guardian have better ranged options, but for guardian, its ranged skills are too poor to be considered main weapon set.
Wings of Dwayna’s recipe was just found yesterday:
1 eldritch scroll
1 gift of light
100 mystic coins
20 superior sigils of purity

This is the one a few of my friends are using, CM 2 lite
http://guildwars2.mmmos.com/?page=view&id=7364
Sorry about not clarifying. The one you linked is the “Lite version 2.0,” not “2.0 lite version.” It is just a simplified 1.1, it still uses the old overlay(and key binding) programs that do not alter the GW2 files like the new Combat Mode 2.0.
See this is exactly what i wanted, a solid answer. Which also means i know alot of people who will be banned soon because i know alot of people running 2.0.
Fyi, the creator of Combat Mode has not released version 2.0 yet. The latest downloadable version is 1.1.
Here’s the link to the original reddit post:

imposible = giant slayer 1000 kills
Not impossible just very boring doing the same event over and over and over in the swamp. over and over… only giant I know of that isn’t champ\vet\risen etc. On the plus side, I think the event re-sets fairly quickly. I haven’t really sat there to time it.
i dare you to show me a screenshot of someone with this achievement. the time you waste doing this you can make more than 1000G
Here’s the giant slayer you want.

Here’s the Anet respond from Gaile Gray (Support Liaison)
http://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/10a0qk/official_response_clarifying_the_stance_on_mods/
Combat Mode(Verson 1.1) does not give you an advantage over other players and does not automate your game play, more over, it is an overlay program that does not alter the games files in any way, so technically it is not bannable. Combat Mode Ver 2.0 however, alters the game’s UI files, making it a bannable mod.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Magic_find#Maximizing_magic_find
According to wiki, a total of 316-319%, but stacking sigils shouldn’t be working together even if you have 2 at a time.
Seriously winterlove, are you making up questions for fun? =.=
I think the question would be: are you even old enough to play Guild Wars 2?
Horrible grammar, illogical reasoning, repeating questions without looking at others’ answers.
Seriously, answers to most of his questions could be find in the wiki without spending much effort.
Can’t play warrior well? There’s a warrior sub forum for that.
Want to know if a skin looks good? Why not just go and preview it yourself?
And why oh god why do you have to make two threads on hammers when you can just focus your questions in one?
Could you please google your questions first before you ask? Is it really that hard?
This wiki page is the answer to your question in this thread btw.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Dynamic_level_adjustment
Did the dungeon a few weeks ago with my engi, can confirm that engi cannot take the sword bundle into water. I had to call in a warrior friend to help with it.
Here’s a list of available mini-dungeons:
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Mini-dungeon
Forsaken Halls and Vexa’s Lab are my personal favorites.
Me and my friends frequently call helms in game “bald hats” for obvious reasons. This is probably the game with worst helm appearance that we have seen in years, our characters rarely have their helms shown.
There were still a few groups pugging on gw2lfg.com at the time you posted, but if you’re not in right now, you probably missed them. Try post a lfg up there. The longest time I waited for a Victory or Death group was around 15 minutes. It’s not that hard to find group, you just need to be patient.
Since AC gears and SE armors are equally ugly and I don’t really like neither of the weapon sets, majority of my soldier gears are farmed through SE path 1/3 and HotW path 1. SE path 1 and 3 are a breeze for lvl 80 characters, they take almost the same time, if not shorter time, than AC runs.
Generally people do that to trick clueless players into custom brawl and get easy champion. Mad King food table and pirate cannon are both like that. Since only those who has transformation tonic could go in and out of custom brawl, people would put those things down and wait for others to come and play with them. Once a player touches it, he or she enters custom brawl. A player without a tonic cannot leave the brawl and cannot fight back, so he or she can only be slaughtered by the player who put it down. Your only option here is to waypoint out of there.
Whites: salvage
Blues: vendor
Greens: check price on trading post, if profit isn’t higher than vendor price, vendor also
Rares: check price of sigil/rune on them, check ectoplasm price, if sigil/rune prices are not higher than items themselves and item is cheaper than ecto, sell ones that are below 68, salvage ones that are 68 and above with master kit for ecto. If price of sigil/rune is higher than item, salvage with BL kit for the sigil/rune, if the item is more expensive than ecto, sell it directly.
Exotics: Same as above.
Please explain Superior Rune of Speed (Rank 6: +7% move speed while using swiftness)
It is also said on the same page, 2 lines down, in the “Notes” section that “the 6th bonus for the superior rune of speed (+7% movement speed while using swiftness), is currently bugged and does not function.”
As we can see from thief’s trait that speed cap isn’t at 33% only, so if this rune was to work properly, I would guess that it adds 7% right on top of the original 33% applied by swiftness, making it a 40% for whoever has the full set of runes of speed. But as we all know, Anet’s technicians and coders are bad and the number is few, so don’t expect it to be on the priority list of bug fixing.
Have you tried cultural armors, TA armor, or armors that would cover your whole body (and face)? Other than a small number, most of the armors on Sylvari have similar, if not the same, proportion as armors on human.
The highest you can get with an ele is 33% increase.
Thief could go to 50% when stealthed if traited.
Engi could go up to 100% with slick shoes’ utility belt skill(for only 5 seconds with a 45 seconds cooldown).
The percent sign (%) is the symbol used to indicate a percentage (that the preceding number is divided by one hundred).
That reads to me like there should be a figure that the % boost is a % of.
You should be able to google and find that number in the first search result which is the official GW2 wiki, which is what I posted, which you did not seem to read at all.
Below are normal and in combat speed (unit/second)
Forward, 300, 210
Strafing, 180, 180
Backpedaling, 105, 105
One of my allies runs slower than me. I have to keep w8ing for my allie to catch up.
Yes
Q: I use Windborne speed, do i still run faster than my allie or do we run at the same speed?
No, you will both be boosted to 33% increased movement speed. As wiki and forum posters above have stated, movement buffs do not stack, only the highest will be taken into account.

stuffs
These things always happen to me when the game starts to lag. My friends have witnessed countless times when I “teleport” around from one place to another, and when I get rezzed but stood up at a place far away from my originally downed location. Being a ranger, I could tell where the game made me going(usually a corner of a room or some wall or cliff side) because my pet will follows where my character is actually going, and where I actually am client-side wise(because I can still control my character, just that the game won’t respond). So your claim isn’t all believable for me.
Yes, it’s a big turnoff for me.
Look at my Warrior…
Day time || Night time
How about trying to screenshot at other places during day? Other than some foggy areas and Orr maps, the daylight should be consistent.
