If they ever choose to nerf warriors instead of buffing them you will see that those “top” teams won’t be top anymore.
Anyway, I agree, this meta requires absolutely no skill.
I have 2 characters with about 100 slots each filled with dragonite/dust/stars. I also have a stack of each of those ingots in bank. I can’t make more ingots because it requires way too much karma. And I need karma!
GW2 china is a different game than GW2 I thought? So this obviously wouldn’t be possible. However, they should definitely connect NA and EU already, and just have it like they had it in GW1. During NA prime time it would be hosted on NA server and during EU prime time on EU server. Easy.
I think these do not require much effort to be fixed. They are listed in random order:
1. Ranger spirit skills get bugged and do not use their skill if it’s clicked while they were moving (this happens most of the time). The skill goes on full cooldown anyway.
2. You can melee or even aoe B point on Skyhammer from under the point. I think that’s not the way it was intended.
3. Sometimes “capture point” on top right side of the screen disappears. It’s annoying.
4. Necro exploit to gain life force at the start of the match with swapping minion skills. Almost all “top” necros abuse this.
5. Warrior signet exploit.
Feel free to add yours! Nothing that’s too complicated to fix though.

Currently the game is about damage and almost no support or healing. Imagine a foefire match without the capture points: the faster rushing team will win. People dont care about the minion npcs they go straight for the boss. With more/stronger npcs and healers you could get a skillful match. But not with the pvp as it is now.
I agree with NPC part. There is no way to save a guild lord if enemies get there.
However, game is already very much focused on bunkering. I really don’t see any benefit from bring in even more healers.
We need more dedicated healer roles for GvG to heal the npcs and your teammates. Guardian’s healing breeze is a very good skill although the cdis a bit high but we need more skills like that one.
What is the benefit of that? How would it improve PvP or gameplay? Can you please explain more?

If I were good enough to carry my team, I wouldn’t be posting this thread. Your condescending tone does not provide me with helpful advice. But congratulations on never experiencing this problem. Maybe when you do you won’t be so apathetic.
You don’t have to be good enough to pick a “winning” build. It has nothing to do with your skill. I am not trying to make any comments about your skill, because I can’t know if you are the best or the worst player ever. It makes no difference.
Pick a good (op) build and you will win at least 50% of your matches no matter how good or bad you are.

Skins will be available for a long time on the tradepost. There will always be people selling them. I don’t understand what is the issue. I agree with Anet that skins should be removed, there are way too many of them right now.
It would be awesome system if there were no different leagues but all servers were in the same one. Swiss system is probably the best matchmaking system out there, but it really requires at least about 20 teams (servers) to work.
Dont forget the infamous AI builds. Although they’re not a big problem in high end pvp they’re still broken in their own ways.

I agree, spirit ranger is broken. While you are moving spirit will not use their skills but will just keep following instead. However, their skills will go on cooldown. That should be fixed.
Other than that, I think everything is fine except warriors.
You seem to have some hatred towards warriors, if hambow didn’t exist would you still be saying an entire class is broken? Because contrary to popular belief every class has one of these builds that have people crying to nerf the entire class for no reason.
By warrior I obviously mean hambow. Hambow and bunker warrior are only viable builds in pvp.

Well I remember. The last time was when I was still playing hot join and it was till I got rank 15. After that I moved into tourneys and never been harrassed again. And actually the insults motivated me to try to improve, not to post threads on forums.
Till last night. When a warrior stopped fighting in the middle of the battle just to type in map chat with caps: GUARDIAN WTF ARE U DOING U MAKE NO DEMAGE UR USELESS
The thing is, I really doubt it was a PvP player. And the funny thing is after the match the opposite team’s guardain pm’ed me to ask about my build.
Less experienced players who think they are the best will often do that. However, when it happens to you, all you have to do is ignore it and not care. You can laugh at them too.

Most of the time any random megaserver that was formed 30 minutes or more before the event start will succeed the event. You don’t need a special guild or anything.
This bug has been here since the start and it’s still not fixed.
When you use a spirit skill while running, the skill will go on full cooldown but the spirit will not use it, they will just keep following you.
When you stop and use spirit skills and then move right away, most of the time they will not use the skill.
So the only way is to use them while standing still, which is super annoying in PvP.
This is with that trait where spirits follow you around.
I’m waiting for quaggan hats, and then pink quaggan hats, and then plush quaggan hats, and then pink baby plush quaggan hats…. yeah, I don’t think they are very creative.
I definitely do not want any new race. I would be happy just with humans, but I guess this is acceptable for now, but no more.
About professions, I don’t really care. I know it would be very, very hard to balance. Especially for PvP. I don’t think there is need to add any new professions, they could just expand on what they have and add new weapons/skills/traits progressively.
A random team against a premade that consists of top ladderboard people. Even with warriors you had no chance. Anyway, if it was some decent, also premade but not top team and they had 3 warriors, they would have won that match, instead of losing so shamefully 500-0

Think EU demonstrated that if there’s league system in place already it’s a pretty safe bet to have 8 seeded teams.
Not one of the randomly selected teams got through the first round to my knowledge.
If anything we need more seeded teams as it seemed like a ton of hassle just for them to get rolled…
It’s a tournament and it should be free for everyone to enter. Everyone should be on the same level.
This is why automated tournaments in GW1 were so popular. Everyone was always equal and first round matchup was randomised. It is a tourney for itself, it should have nothing to do what you are like on some other league or whatever. Some players might choose not to participate in them, that doesn’t mean they are any less worthy.
Brawler is 2000 tourney wins, Marvin says there is no1 atm and you saying you are @ 2446? I guess i can go fvck myself with my 1490 out of 2000 now lol
