PvPers should not be the richest. PvP is extremely easy and doesn’t require as much time as PvE grinding.
Always help the new players no matter how annoying they might be some times. It is very likely that some of them will be a lot better than you in few months.
PvP needs all those players. If they don’t stick around then we will have nothing, no proper ladder, competition, or anything. So everyone should do their best to keep them in PvP and help them!
Engis, hambows, necros. Whoever plays those will win all the matches. Easy

I agree. 3 armor pieces and 1 weapon piece would be more logical. These are weapons and armors that most people want to use for their alt characters. I doubt there are any people who collect dungeon armors just like minipets or whatever.
I personally have no idea what to do with all those weapons. But I could definitely use way more armor pieces.
Guys: put family and work and all that first. This is a game, it’s ok, you can always try out new things like dungeons, PvP, WvW, etc. Or on weekends and holidays you can do all events any time.
I have to admit that since the patch I almost never do world events. I did tequatl and wurm once, and tried out fire elemental, behemoth and jormag. The reason for me not doing them is only because I do not like waiting for them to spawn. I used to guest on BG and time all events so I would have to invest minimum amount of time and skip the boring pre events.
However, even though I had to change my play style since this patch, I do like it. I think it’s not fair that me and whoever else was guesting on BG or other big servers had a huge advantage over those who were new or on lower servers but didn’t want or didn’t know how to guest. This made it more fair for everyone.
And about “it is schedule world and not living world anymore”. Come on let’s be honest. Everyone used gw2stuff or similar API/website for world events. So it wasn’t that living after all. Because if there was no way to see when the events are active then barely no one would do them except guild groups.

I do not want this to be implemented. Fractal is elite content and rewards there shouldn’t be gained the easy way. Let’s be honest. Grinding points and tracks in PvP requires absolutely no skill. However, playing a fractal lvl 50 is not easy, and can be very, very time consuming (if you get dredge fractal for example).
My tip of the day is: do not use mass invisibility skill on the point you are trying to defend (already have it captured).
So Justin: how exactly will you show skill? Will you use ladder rank or something?
That depends on what the community wants, and ladders do seem to fit.

So we get 3 weapons on that track that cost way more tokens than armor pieces. But the end big reward is only one piece of armor? That has to be a bug.

I think it will appear at the same time when holding on to all those ascended materials will be useful (as Devon said many months ago).
I really like the schedule for tequatl/karka/wurm. it fits all time zones. People have to understand that it’s not only americans who play on NA servers, and it’s not only euros who play on EU servers. People choose their home server for many different reasons and not just the location. This way no matter where you are in the world at least 1 spawn time should be at prime time.
I had all achievements done and they have not been reset.
I agree, it’s extremely annoying. You also risk accidentally merching your pvp weapons because you have to keep them in the inventory.
I use axe/dagger ranger and seem to be doing quite well.
I agree that reward tracks are not too bad. I see a lot more potential in them though.
I have no problem at all with decap engis.
They should make it look like GW1 dragon. It would look so awesome with GW2 graphics.
I don’t know why they added zapdos when we already had moltres. And let’s be honest: moltres is way more awesome.
I have to use my legendaries in pvp. Swapping weapons all the time between pvp and pve is sooo annoying!!!!! I hate the dragon emote look but I still use it because I played a lot to get it.
I did few games earlier and all of them were completely one sided (solo arena). Each match was around 500-100
I would never play any deathmatch mode in GW2. It just can’t work.

are you aware that many previously “PvE / WvW” only dailies can be done in sPvP as well?
for today, there is:
condition remover
daily player kills
daily matches playedif you remove conditions in sPvP matches, it counts.
hmmm but for today there is only 3 doable in sPvP.

I like all ideas except dueling. I believe that it is not necessary for this game as it’s focused on capture points. People have to understand that 1v1 fights off points are not important.
Agree this is annoying. We should be able to get an simple exotic level weapon for any class. this should remain in PvP only.

This is extremely annoying. I don’t want to carry my pvp weapon around with me. And swapping all the time.. ugh what were designers thinking..
1. Super ugly dragon emote that doesn’t fit with any other emote. They should have put some effort in to make it look like GW1 dragon.
2. Fact that I have to change my weapons each time I switch between pvp and pve. And I do switch a lot, depending on my mood.
3. Hambow wars stronger than ever. 25 stacks of might constantly without any problem with rune of strength.
I use shortbow in pve on my ranger, but in pvp I use axe and dagger. When I go to pvp do I have to equip axe and dagger each time, and each time I go back to pve I have to equip the shortbow back? It is not automatic? And do I have to keep that pvp set in my inventory all the time? It’s such a pain for me if that’s the case since I play both pve and pvp.
Yeah, I definitely do not like this at all. They can merge the paths into a single daily if they like, but if so they still need at least 7-8 pure PvE ones and the rest can be WvW/PvP. Don’t even think for a second that you’re going to lure me into PvPing by putting objectives in there, just accept that I do not enjoy it and move on. The more they try to nudge me into PvP, the less interested I am in playing at all.
This is exactly what they should have considered. Instead of improving the whole structure of PvP they just add some rewards that are pretty much worthless.
They tried really hard to have all those modes integrated together but it could really never be good enough solution. Short term there will be a lot more people in PvP trying out those reward tracks and other stuff, but not so long after that it will be dead as it ever was.
It needs proper structure. People have to be motivated to actually compete. To win, to have a reason for trying hard in PvP. And PvE people should never be forced into it. It should be there as an option if they want to, but it shouldn’t ever get in the way of their PvE play.
Make PvP better, more organised, with proper structure and then trying so hard to get more people in will never be needed. People will want to play it just because it’s fun and they will be motivated.
I destroyed so many of those event skins….
Capture points is the only mode that can ever work in GW2. I’ve been saying it from the start

Yup, having so many teams has nothing to do with the huge bias and unfairness that everyone got because a shoutcaster who is also an organizer who is also good friend with those teams chose them.

This is my biggest and the only disappointment I’ve had in this game (counting both GW1 and GW2).
I really dislike the terrible super ugly dragon finisher.
It just does not fit with the other finishers. Shark and phoenix look AWESOME.. and dragon.. just wow…

I think that next and all other tournaments should work exactly the way how GW1 automated tournaments worked. No one ever had a single complaint about that system. It is flawless, unbiased and fair.

Good luck to everyone who made it in. It sucks that some of the best players and potential winners didn’t make it in, but that’s just the way it is now. Hopefully mistpedia people will learn from their mistakes.
